We are excited to introduce the Monthly Moments: April Journal Card Pad! This collection of journal cards is printed on high quality linen cardstock, making your layouts look polished and professional.
A total of 30 (4×6) sheets are included, two each of 15 designs. The pad of cards is gummed together on one side and provides easy, seamless removal. Features our signature wrap around cover to help keep all of the cards together for storage while also providing a labeled spine for easy reference.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
Today I thought I would start off with a quick and easy card I created using the new Phrase Play #3 stamp set and coordinating die!
I started by die-cutting the phrase frame with both Hawaiian Shores and Limeade Ice cardstock. I popped everything out of the Hawaiian Shores version and added the word and arrow in Limeade Ice. I added a few diagonal stripes under the card with more Limeade Ice cardstock. "Birthday boy" was added in the opening using True Black ink.
I found this fabulous silver sparkle foam foam sheet at Hobby Lobby and decided to experiment cutting it with the Cover Plate: Stars die. It was a success!
I adhered them in place with mini glue dots in a random pattern on the card cover..
I have a couple layouts to share with you as well! This one is just a fun review layout with several different photos from the first half of April.
Soccer is in full force here and Owen & Hannah are playing together on a co-ed team. I created a title for this photo using the new Stenciled Alphabet Blocks and Simply Chartreuse cardstock. I love how easy it is to line these up since they are blocks!
I also added a little "memo" label from Simply Framed in Summer Sunrise. Several white stars die-cut with the Cover Plate: Stars die were adhered randomly around the title.
This details card was created with the new Wet Paint II set. I inked the word "details" with Summer Sunrise and then just tapped the top edge with a bit of Orange Zest ink to give a slight ombre look. The circles and arrows along the edge are from Simply Framed and they were added with Simply Chartreuse ink.
Little Ethan started reading his first chapter books and has started reading over breakfast in the morning.
The label added here is from Simply Framed and stamped in Simply Chartreuse. Just like the soccer section, I added white stars die-cut with the Cover Plate: Stars die.
Saturday morning omelets have become a bit of a tradition in our house. One of my favorite things to look forward too!
This card was designed with the Simply Framed line-up. I die-cut the frame four times and adhered them on top of one another for thickness. The interior card was stamped with various elements from the set. I loved being able to add these bits and pieces in any arrangement and colors I wished!
This block uses the new Monthly Moments: April die and coordinating stamp set. I also added the banner from Fabulous Frames along with the word "photos" from Wet Paint II.
Next, a layout all about the egg hunt Ethan had with his class on Friday, which also happened to be his 8th birthday! Where has the time gone!

One of my absolute FAVORITE things from the April Monthly Moments collection is the new pocket die and mini journal card die. It is the perfect size to tuck into your 3×4 pockets! I cut this one from Harvest Gold gingham paper.
The mini journal card was cut from Classic Kraft cardstock. I added a scrap from one of the pre-printed journal cards as a border along the top edge. The "welcome spring" image is from Monthly Moments: April and is stamped in Ocean Tides. I had Ethan do a little journaling here in his own handwriting.
This little chicks card from the Monthly Moments: April pad is just the sweetest thing ever!
I added a title using the new Stenciled Alphabet Blocks again. Antique Alphabet and a small label from Simply Framed finish it out.
I cut out the chick from the second journal card in the pad and added it over another one with foam tape for dimension.
I pulled out Doily Details die collection to complete the layout. The "so cute" sentiment is from Monthly Moments: April. I also added a small flower from my stash, held in place with a tiny brad.

Fun post today! My favorite was seeing photos of kids, especially Ashley’s little baby. My biggest surprise was the stenciled blocks. When I saw them in the introduction I wondered why anyone would ever buy them. By the end of the projects they were the top thing on my shopping list from today’s post. Thanks!

Such a Monthly Moments fan! Stamping on components of what will become a scrapbooking page is like ‘coming full circle’ for me, combining my love of cardmaking AND scrapbooking. The possibilities as to what will ‘qualify’ for scrapbooking (and not just card making) is expanding exponentially with every month. Oh, I wish I could get into the mini scrapping. The DT had so much fun putting their’s together. I feel quite lost. LOL It seems the holiday stuff should have been posted last mo? Isn’t that what we used to do? I see where you’re going with the month to month and I love some of the elements, like the “months” dies that could easily cross over to card making. I’m definitely feeling your growing pains and hope things smooth back out soon. I may have to give up some other PC commitments, so I can invest in more PTI goodies. =D Hope you’re all having a Great Spring!
