Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Typed Thank You Card

For my first project I kept things pretty simple and straight forward with the desk and accessories!  Oh my goodness, just SO fun to figure out how you want to arrange the desk, what colors you want to use, etc!  I stamped the desk in Simply Chartreuse and then a second time in Aqua Mist on a separate pieces of white cardstock.  I cut out just the drawer fronts from the Aqua Mist version and stamped the drawer handles in Charcoal Palette ink.  I adhered the drawer fronts in place on th emain desk with foam tape.

Next up was the typewriter!  I can't wait for you to stamp this little gem yourself!  When you add the second stamp in a contrasting color to finish the image, then life that stamp, you will love the look and want to make them in every color!  I used Aqua Mist and Charcoal Palette.  The coordianting die-cut creates an opening for the sheet of paper to slide into, with lots of options of sentiments to add to it.  I used  "for all you do" to coordinate with the larger "thank you" sentiment.  The little pencil cup is a three step image, with separate stamps for the cup, pencils and scissors.  I took advantage of this and used three different colors., tucking it in next to the typewriter.

I stamped the school notebook line border that is included in the set with Charcoal Palette and added the "thank you" sentiment in True Black.  I just love this script font!  I think it complements the images in the set perfectly!

Everything was adhered to a Soft Stone card base to complete the project!

Hello Call Me Card

I wanted to show a little something with one of the desk accessories alone, without the desk.  I chose to use the adorable little rotary telephone.

I stamped it on a small square of cardstock using Berry Sorbet and Orange Zest ink.  I stamped it towards the side of the block as a bit of a design feature and to keep things visually interesting.  After adhering the square to my card front, I added an outline around the square using a black pen and ruler.

I die-cut just the word "Hello" from the new Phrase Play #3 die using Summer Sunrise cardstock.  Underneath that I added the sentiment "Call me" from Desktop Design in Berry Sorbet.

I cut a piece of Berry Sorbet striped paper on the diagonal to cover the front of the card bas before adhering the embellished card front.  It helps to set of the telephone image since it carries through the same dominant color.
