Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Lovely February Birthday Card

For this project I decided to pair up several of the new sets with a fresh spring color scheme, to help warm things up in this cold winter weather!

Leaves

I stamped several of the leaves from the new Leave It Be set, layering them in a collage style, using Spring Moss, Aqua Mist and Harvest Gold.  I then followed that up with the veins for each leaf in VersaMark which were heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder.

Sentiment

For the sentiment, I started with a scalloped circle cut out with the Limitless Layers: 2-1/2" Circle die from Aqua Mist cardstock.  I then stamped it with the coordinating basic label image from the new Limitless Layers: Labels set in Aqua Mist ink.  I just LOVE how you can use this label image with both the decorative edged diws and the basic dies from each Limitless Layers die set.  It is such a beautiful way to set them off, and not to mention easy too!

Down

I heat embossed the two parts of this sentiments from the new Birthday Classics: February with White Filigree Embossing Powder.  There is a beautiful stamp for the word "February" included in the stamp set, but I opted to mix things up just a bit and use the new Monthly Moments: February die with Harvest Gold cardstock instead.  Everything is adhered to a Spring Moss card front.

February Flowers Card

Another February birthday card here!  One of the wonderful things about Dawn's new Leave It Be set is that you can bring a completely different look and style to the previously released floral sets!  Here I have pulled out an old favorite, Beautiful Blooms.

Flowers

I stamped each of the flowers twice using Summer Sunrise ink, stamping twice and rotating the stamp between impressions.  I am giving you a sneak peek at a new die today with these flower centers!  They were die-cut from Canyon Clay cardstock and tied in place with Rustic Cream Button Twine.

Sentiment

The leaves were stamped in Fine Linen with the gorgeous stitched veins in Classic Kraft.  As the finishing touch, a sentiment combination from Birthday Classics: February is added in Dark Chocolate.

Down

Everything was mounted onto a Classic Kraft card base.  Imagine all of the color combinations you could use with this simple card layout!

Wish Big Eat Cake Card

Now for something a bit different, and definitely more bold.  This black and gray card is accented with bright punches of gold, perfect for celebrating a birthday!  You can barely see it in the photos, but I started with the small oval frame from Limitless Layers: Labels in True Black.  It's just a watermark, but it really helps to anchor the sentiment in real life.  The sentiment, also from Limitless Layers: Labels, was heat embossed with Gold Filigree Embossing Powder.

Side

The edges of the Smokey Shadow card base were stamped with diagonal stripes using True Black ink and Background Basics: Diagonals Additions.  I cut the True Black card front a bit narrow and attached it to the card base using foam tape for dimension.

Gold stars

I diecut these gorgeous stars (more about them later in the week!!!) from gold shimmer cardstock and then pressed them into my VersaMark pad, heat embossing them with Gold Filigree Embossing Powder too.

Down

The stars were adhered with a two-way glue pen, scattered up the card front around the sentiment.

February Birthday Blessings Card

I'm sure you won't mind if I share yet another floral card with you!  *wink*

Flowers

I traced the Tipped Top die-cut onto the Rustic White card base and then stamped the flowers and leaves around the edge of the line.  The leaves are from the new Leave It Be set, and I stamped them in New Leaf, cleaned my stamp well and went back in and stamped them again in Soft Stone just slightly off from the original impressions.  It creates a subtle shadowed look.  The flowers are from Floral Fusion #4.  I added them with Tropical Teal and Hawaiian Shores.  The centers of the flowers are from Solid Stitches & Swirls.

Sentiment

I die-cut the Tipped Tops die from New Leaf cardstock and stamped this FABULOUS sentiment from Birthday Classics: February in Pinefeather.  For the record, I will be using Pinefeather a lot now that Tropical Teal is in town.  I just love them together!

Down

I adhered the Tipped Tops die-cut in place with foam tape for dimension.

Butterfly Birthday Card

Now for the lovely Text Block Birthday die.  Cannot. Wait. For all of you to get to play with this!  So, so fun!!!  I started by stamping my background.  I used Melon Berry cardstock as my base and stamped several images from Beuatiful Butterflies using Canyon Clay, Berry Sorbet and Raspberry Fizz inks.

Die

I then die cut the Melon Berry block with the Text Block: Birthday die, reserving the interior pieces.  I die-cut Rustic White cardstock and adhered it in the opening, putting the Melon Berry pieces back in place.  I left some of the tiny pieces out because I wanted to help draw attention to the dimension, keeps tings from being a bit too flat. This inlaid technique is just STUNNING with this die!  I wish you could see and touch this in person!

Butterfly detail

I stamped and cut out one of the small butterflies and added it to the side of the "B", finished with a tiny rhinestone.

Down

You could create a similar card with nearly any solid stamp images and colors!

Birthday Text Card

The new Text Block: Birthday die was just screaming to be used on a window card!  I cut a rectangle from a Raspberry card front and stamped it with Background Basics: Super stripes in Fresh Snow.  I love adding stripes on the diagonal like this, just gives things a more modern & trendy twist.

Side

The Text Block Birthday die was cut from Limeade Ice cardstock and adhered to a block of Clear Cardstock.

Through window

It was then adhered in place with 1/8" Scor-tape over the window opening.

Interior window

These stars are scattered on the interior, which was lined with white.

Stars

The stars were die-cut from Summer Sunrise cardstock and covered with Prisma Glitter.

Down

I love how you can see them peeking through the window!

Our Story layout

As a little treat I saved for last, I have a few Monthly Moments layouts to share with you.  I started this new album just to hold photos from all of the fun things David and I do togehter, just the two of us.  They don't happen very often, but when they do I will love being able to put everything in one place so I can bring back the memories often.  This is the title page I created using several of the new products highlighted today.  This is a 3×4 vertical four pocket page protector.

Cover plate

I die-cut the Cover Plate: Circles from Simply Chartreuse cardstock can cut the corner to 3×4 to fit into a pocket.  I love the transparency of the design, giving a peek at the page underneath.  Looking forward to playing around with this technique with all of my other Cover Plates too!  The other two pockets were filled with Ocean Tides cards stamped with Background Basics: Super stripes using Fresh Snow ink.

Title

I die-cut the Limitless Layers: 3-1/2" Oval from white cardstock and stamped it with the new Limitless Layers: Labels using Terracotta Tile ink.  I used the dotted lines stamp from the same set to add the journaling lines using Charcoal Palette ink.  I die-cut the Bookprint Alphabet letters from Classic Kraft cardstock three times and adhered & stacked them together to give them a bit of a chipboard look.  The new Leaves from Leave It Be were die-cut from Simply Chartreuse cardstock and the veins were heat embossed with Gold Filigree Embossing Powder.  I love how you can get a completely different look with these leaves by just using the die-cuts and veins together!

Memories captured

I cut a little strip of cardstock from Classic Kraft cardstock and stamped a phrase from the new Monthly Moments: Slide Frame set.  The ends were then trimmed with pinking shears.  I added a "stitched" look to either end by just doing some selective inking to the journaling lines stamp included in the Limitless Layers: Labels set.  This strip along with the oval label above it were adhered on TOP of the page protector with foam tape and Scor-tape.

This is the Best title page

For the second page, I used double 4×6 horizontal pocket protector.  A photo of us is added to the bottom pocket.

Circle label

I kept it simple when adding to it and just die-cut a Limitless Layers: 1-3/4" scalloped circle die, stamped with Ocean Tides using the coordinating label image from Limitless Layers: Labels.  The sentiment is from the same set, added in True Black.  I finished it with the date added in by hand.  A little thing to note, you don't always need to leave these labels whole.  Trim the side off to get different looks.

Slide frame

For the top portion, I started with a 4×6 piece of Classic Kraft cardstock, stamped with Polka Dot Basics in Fresh Snow.  The Monthly Moments: Slife Frame die was cut from Simply Chartreuse.  I trimmed a square of Clear Cardstock to fit behind it and stamped it with Irresistibly Ikat using White StazOn.    I cut and notched a slim strip of Canyon Clay cardstock and stamped it with a sentiment from the Monthky Moments: Slide Frame stamp set.  I adhered this across the frame.  The monograms were die-cut with the Bookprint Upper dies from Ocean Tides, adhered above and below the sentiment strip.  This entire frame was adhered on top of my page protector with foam tape.  I can already tell that I'm going to have a lot of fun with this Slide Frame die!!!

I hope you have enjoyed all the creations that I have shared with you today!  With several classic new products with a wide variety of applications, there's sure to be something here for everyone!  Did you have a favorite project or product from today's post?  We would love to hear your initial thoughts on everything we introduced!

The-challenge

As you can see, many of the projects today were all about birthdays!  Now it's your turn!  Take some of the inspiration you have gained so far this week and create a birthday card for Papertrey!  We would love to see both your card and a photo of you holding your card!  Not only would this give you TWO entries for one card, but these photos will also be combined with Papertrey stories shared in the comments section to create a special slideshow at the end of the celebration!

You are also encouraged to mail your card to our warehouse employees in Cincinnati so we can create a heartfelt display board for them to enjoy each day while they are picking and packaging your packages!  It isn't very often that they get to see what all of the crafty supplies are used for and it would bring a huge smiles to their faces!

How-to-win

1. Create a birthday card for Papertrey Ink!  Take a photo of you holding the card for an extra entry in today's contest.  Then mail your card to our warehouse employees in Cincinnati:

Papertrey Ink Warehouse, 5514 Fair Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45227

2. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product.

3. Upload a photo(s) of your project and an extra photo of you holding your card to your blog, online gallery or any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).

4. Add separate direct links to your project and to your card-holding photo on our InLinkz list below.  This means if you have a project photo and a card-holding photo, you can upload both photos separately into the InLinkz list, giving you two entries for one card.

5. You may create as many projects as you like for the challenge, but each project should have a separate link.

6.  And/or you can leave a comment here to be eligible to win.  Nothing would make us happier than to hear from each of you about how Papertrey has touched your life!  We would love to hear your stories about how you discovered us, or something heartwarming that might have happened while you've been a customer with us.  We would love to know the year you became a customer too!  Many of these comments will be combined with your birthday card holding photos to create a special slideshow for the last day or our celebration!  One comment per person please.  (Just click the small "comments" link in blue beside the date in the footer of this post.  If you are reading this as an email subscription, be sure to click through to the actual blog to leave an eligible comment)

7. You have until 7am EST, Sunday, February 10th to add your project link(s) or comment and qualify for the contest.

8. SEVEN randomly selected winners will be announced on our February Release Winners page no later than noon EST, February 10th.

Wow amazing products once again. Love the idea of making a birthdaycard for PTI. I think I ” discovered” PTI in 2008 and I’m hooked ever since. Through your business I also have met several dear friends and one in particular which makes it possible that I always get my stamps and dies.

I became a customer of PTI in 2011. I started card making after my wedding, as I wanted truly unique thank you notes, but after I found PTI, my projects were taken to a whole new level! Nichole and the DT have been so inspirational, but honestly, the products speak for themselves. They add the professionalism that I was looking for and couldn’t find in other companies’ products. Just the card stock alone would (almost) be enough! Happy birthday, PTI!

While Feb. 2014 is PTI’s 7th anniversary, it marks my 3rd anniversary of being a PTI customer. I’ve been scrapbooking since May 2003 and when a fellow scrapbooking friend suggested I check out PTI, I didn’t know at the time that it would change my life! Through PTI I have discovered the joy of card making, playing along with MIMs & monthly blog hops, winning GCs, the friendship of other members on the forum, sneak peek weeks, countdowns, release night ordering, etc. I truly do love PTI!

I think it’s fair to say that PTI has had a significant impact on my papercrafting life since discovering you in 2009. But not necessarily the products, although I love my collection!

The biggest impact has been the friends and relationships I have forged across the world as a result of sharing this common love. From the best friends I’ve made and met in person (and the wonderful first, in-person Stamp-A-Faire where I met so many of the DT and forum friends), to the ones I still know only virtually and hope to meet someday, this is the biggest gift I have received.

You also helped springboard my career to become as successful a designer I am now – that wouldn’t have happened without your kind words and encouragement Nichole. I hope you’re proud of me and how far I’ve come. This company and everyone to do with it will always have a special place in my heart. xoxo

In the years since, I have become an enthusiastic card maker. Now I can share my creativity and bring some happiness into the lives of others! PTI is the best! A friend of mine had a scrapbooking club, and she was an amazingly talented lady. She did cards and scrapbooks. I went to see her and her work she was selling at a YMCA craft fair, and I fell in love with all of the projects she had made with Papertreyink products! She introduced me to Papertreyink back in December of 2008 and I am so grateful.

I remember hearing about this new company called Papertrey back when you first opened but I was not really into stamping as much then so I filed that news away…boy do I regret that! When I did become a customer in 2010 I could not believe how gorgeous, versatile and detailed your stamps are. And then there’s the card stock…no other card stock comes close!! I could not have come up with all the color combinations or ways to use a stamp set if I were not part of Papertrey’s fabulous family!

I stumbled across the Papertrey Ink website back in 2007. I was an avid scrapbooker, and decided I wanted to try some of those “clear stamps” to use on a few of my layouts. My first order was for Little Lady, and Butterfly Kisses, and despite how trends (and my tastes) have evolved, there is no way I would ever part with those two beloved sets.
I am astounded each month with the new creative ways your products are used, and look forward to each release, even when I’m on an extended hiatus in an attempt to control my compulsive spending.
Cheesy though it may sound, it’s so easy to consider you and the rest of the Design Team as part of my extended family. Purchases of your products have also been the catalyst for friendships with the postperson, and with “Mr. Brown”, not to mention the countless people that have received gifts and/ or cards from me, using your products.
So keep up the fantastic work, because you (collectively) are an important part of my life, and I wouldn’t want to ever lose you. : ) : )

I am not good with remembering dates. According to my first order, it was 2010. But it feels like it’s been longer than that. What I love about PTI is just how ‘my style’ the designs are. They have such an elegant and professional style. Do my cards don’t have to look ‘home made’ I have had people marvel at the fact that I ‘made that?!?) lol!
I don’t get to create nearly as much as I would like to but my PTI stash is growing at a healthy pace 😉

I just looked back at my account and I placed my first order on May 26, 2012. I remember that I had been watching other bloggers use your products and had checked out your site prior to then but never ordered. Then, I discovered your blog and challenges and knew that was it, I had to try and I have been hooked ever since. My first ink was Dark Chocolate and my first paper was Stamper Select White. Thank you for such wonderful products and I must say that when my package arrives and everything is packed so nicely, wrapped in tissue, heavier items on bottom more delicate on top I can tell that the warehouse staff really takes great pride in their jobs. Other companies have tossed my $75 orders in a bubble envelope that, by the time it arrived, had holes in it big enough to have lost some of my merchandise luckily not though.

so loved it all..and was in a wow state each time I found out more and saw more of it all….
After I got my first order it went fast..wanted more and more of these gorgeous and stunning supplies..especially after seeing all the amazing things Nichole and the team made with it!
So you can say PTI made me develop my card making skills..also made me meet with my 3 very sweet and best friends in the USA..so happy I found PTI!
thanks so much for all you gave and brought me during all those years!

Surfing the net was the way we dropped into PTI. I say it that way because my grandchildren and I would drop by the site every Monday morning for the Make It Monday show. All I would have to do is load it and when the music played they would come running in to sit on Grand Mawmaw’s lap and watch all the creation being made. The girls are off to school now but my little man still watches with me.
Now those kind of things make memories.

Love the idea of the monthly-themed birthday sentiments and Lizzie’s new text block birthday die is a must have.

A friend of mine (who actually sells product for another stamp company) was the one who introduced me to Papertrey. We’ve been placing PTI orders together every month since March of 2009. A group of us, including my dear daughter-in-law, have been meeting (almost monthly)for at least three years now to make cards using our PTI products. (My DIL had a baby on 1/13/14 and gave serious consideration to coming to our PTI get together on 1/17! She didn’t make it in January but plans to be there this month!) Needless to say – our PTI get togethers are something we all look forward to.

A highlight of my PTI experiences was having the opportunity to attend the CHA Supershow in Illinois. Meeting Nichole (and David), Heather, Dawn, Debbie and some of the other PTI crew was a dream come true. Everyone was as genuine and friendly as they come across in their blogs.

One of the things that has touched me the most over the years are the times when I’ve posted a comment on one of the PTI designer blogs and I hear back from them. It’s an unexpected surprise in my inbox but more importantly, that they know how very much I appreciate the inspiration they provide.

I didn’t know clear stamps existed until I found PTI and after I bought my first couple of sets I introduced them to her and she loves them, too. We have had lots of crafting days together and she just recently made her first PTI purchase. All the products are wonderful and I love being able to get everything from one place.

I started out scrapbooking and found PTI in 2009. The creative innovative stamps/dies, the mindblowing designs by the DT and the friendly fun forum had me hooked. I’ve never owned so many stamps and it doesn’t look like I’m stopping any time soon, lol. I can’t remember the last time I even stepped into a Hallmark store, haha. I’m definitely a cardmaker now (although Heather’s new line has me thinking about giving scrapbooking another try… 🙂

You have been my go to site for stamps and dies ever since. Love your products and the design team’s inspiration is awesome. Also a shout out to the warehouse staff-my orders are processed quickly, packaged beautifully and always correct-you can see the care and love they put into their jobs! My first order from PTI was in December 2010, but I “found” PTI when I picked up the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of Paper Crafts magazine and saw Dawn’s Smooches Valentine card on the cover. I was smitten! I can’t believe it took me a year to take the plunge and place an order! At that time I was making cards with only pattern paper and thought I did’t need stamps! Dawn’s card and the introduction to PTI changed all that! Happy Birthday PTI!

Loving everything today! great idea to add some label stamps for the Limitless Layers. The new text block die is wonderful in everyone’s samples this morning. How I found PTI – it was on Debbie Olson’s blog when I was learning about Copic coloring. I wanted to get some nice card stock to mat my drawings for a few birthday cards for family. I bought the sampler pack in my first PTI order. The beautiful quality and COLORS just made me happy! And they still do. Then I started making cards for Operation Write Home. Love doing that. Thanks PTI for the inspiration and classic style that I love to create with!

I have been a PTI customer (fan..junkie) for about five years. The way I found PTI was by looking up Nichole on the internet because I was knocked out by some of her cards I had seen in magazines. And the rest is history!! I had been making cards for many years and was so discouraged by the trends in the industry…simply not my style. I have really been enjoying the new products in the last year, especially your fabulous dies. I don’t get to order from you as much as I would like as shipping and exchange on the dollar isn’t the best for Canada right now, but I do treat myself to a big order every once and awhile. 🙂 I will definitely be treating myself this month after all it is a BIG celebration!!!!!! My favourite die so far from the previews is the Block Die: Birthday Die! It looks amazing and I can already envision so many projects with it!!! PTI’s Label Basic’s doesn’t leave my desk. In fact, I used it just this morning to make a label for a pocket scrapbook spread. PTI helps me document my memories. PTI has also really turned me into a cardmaker ever since I discovered this company. Now family and friends look forward to the cards I send in the mail. They would probably be shocked if I sent a store bought one.

I discovered PTI while wondering around on the internet several years ago trying to find supplies for a card project. The signature style of PTI is what got me hooked. I have since used your lovely PTI products on a great many cards, banners, scrapbooks, shadowbox projects and more. Your products are top notch and the customer service is outstanding. Thank you PTI and Happy Anniversary!!

I became a PTI customer with the purchase of your Select White cardstock but I don’t recall when that was. There was nothing like it and there still isn’t in my opinion. Then your Aqua Mist and Spring Moss cardstock came out and I immediately purchased those and continued to be a cardstock customer. During Feb/March 2010 I became a stamps and dies customer. Besides the wonderful products PTI sells the best part of my love for PTI is the wonderful friends I’ve made – both in real life and cyber friends.

Really like your small pocket album. Maybe if I got a smaller album I would work on it more often. Sometimes it is just too much to fill up a whole 12×12 pocket.

There was a thread on Splitcoast Stampers discussing this new company that was getting ready for their first release and it was only going to be one stamp each month. People were doubtful that you would succeed:) I became a fan and loyal customer of PTI’s from that first release. Your company has helped make me that stamper that I am today. It’s a behind the scenes job that many not get a lot of thanks, but I for one am VERY thankful for all of them 🙂 Happy 7th Birthday PTI!

I became a Papertrey addict in 2011. I started looking at Nichole’s blog in the summer and was amazed at the beautiful cards the DT made. I had been stamping for several years (largely self-taught), but I hadn’t found a company whose stamps I just loved. When I discovered Nichole’s blog, I felt encouraged to see the DT using techniques I had figured out on my own and challenged to try new techniques that they showcases on Make It Mondays and during releases. Your products were so fun and lovely! I made my first purchase in September of 2011, and every month, the new release is on my watch list. Thank you for being an inspiration!

What a fabulous release. I learned about PTI in 2011, a few months after I discovered stamping at Paper Source. I kept reading ‘PTI Stampers Select White’ in the supplies list on Split Coast Stampers, and decided to check it out myself. I ordered a pack of that, Mazel Tov, Mixed Messages and a Borders and Corners set. After that, I was hooked and have ordered almost every single month at least once. (yes, I have a big craft room). 3 years later, I am still hooked on Stampers Select White, and Mixed Messages is still one of my ‘go to’ sets and probably my most used set overall. Mazel Tov is still what I use for every Jewish card occasion as well. PS. You’ve got the best warehouse staff as well. A big thank you and shout out to them.

I’ve been a PTI customer since 2008. I saw some of Dawn’s beautiful cards on SCS, then discovered Dawn’s blog and, through her, PTI. My life hasn’t been the same since! 🙂 Yours were the first non-rubber stamp sets I ever bought, and although I was a little unsure about them first, I now hardly ever use rubber stamps any more. Most of my stamp collection is PTI, because I love the style, the quality and the value for money. I’m a big fan of the $5 sets and all the dies matching stamp sets. As one of your international customers, I’m also very happy that you’re offering 1st class mail again as a shipping option. Thanks for listening to your customers!

I saw a photo of some gorgeous glittery pink houses in a Christmas scene and was directed to Melissa Phillips’ blog. From there, I discovered Papertrey Ink. I ended up purchasing the template to make those houses – which reminds me that my computer crashed since then and I lost everything, including that template. I need to get that again, is there a way to do that?

Anyway, I purchased the complimentary stamp set for the houses to use at my daughter’s birthday party. She got a few girls together and they each put together a house and decorated it as part of her party. They had such a good time!

I think I discovered you during your 2nd or early in your 3rd year of business. Happy Birthday PTI, I thoroughly enjoy your company, people, projects, releases, and creativity. I only wish I could afford to feed my addiction (oops, I mean add to my collection) more!!!

I’m not completely sure when I discovered PTI (probably about 4-5 yrs ago), but I do know that ever since then it is very rare for me to purchase stamps from another company. And I NEVER buy plain cardstock anywhere else. No matter what other companies come up with, PTI just does it better. I feel like PTI products take my creativity to a whole new level, so thank you stamp designers, DT, & everyone behind the scenes who help make that possible!

I just went back to your post from July, 17 2009 – when I found out that you made me a Guest Star Stamper Winner. I remember dancing around the house with my baby girl looking at me with big, questioning eyes. It meant so so much to me and it was one of my first accomplishments in card making. PTI has been one of my favorites ever since and influenced me a lot. Can’t stop loving it 🙂

Although my first order directly from PTI wasn’t until 2011, I was buying used sets off the awesome Forum to see how I liked the acrylic stamps having only used rubber-mounted ones previously. Let me just say I never looked back and now only buy PTI. Between the fabulous DT, staff and owners, they are the best. Your anniversary festivities are lots of fun with generous prizes and fairness to all, and your Stamp-a-faire really inspires us out of our comfort zones (especially true for me). My life-long competitiveness is a natural when it comes to MIM’s, Monthly Blog Hops and I schedule my mornings around PTI’s schedule of blog posts. The Forum has encouraged me to start my own blog recently, and the members are like extended family. Yeah, Papertrey Ink!

I have only recently “found” the treasure that is Papertrey Ink (just a few months ago), but I am amazed at the creativity the designers show with projects to highlight specific products and techniques, highlighting the wonderful details that to me, are signature PTI e.g. the stitching lines, leaf veins, and how well ALL the various sets work together e.g. flowers from one or two sets and leaves from another and a sentiment from yet another set! Thank you so much for your inspiration!

I remember seeing the Papertrey links in her sidebar and found Nichole…I’ve been hooked every since. I believe that was in 2008 or so. At the time that I found PTI, you were getting ready to release “Enjoy the Ride.” My husband is a Volkswagen mechanic, so it was a perfect match. I first started following PTI in 2009 through Michelle Wooderson’s blog. I was so impressed with all of the sentiment sets, as they were so unique. I finally placed my first order in 2010. I live in Canada, about 45 minutes north of the U.S.-Canada border, so I made plans to have that first order delivered to an outlet in Minnesota. I still remember the excitement of opening my first parcel on the drive back home (luckily my husband was driving!!). I opened each carefully wrapped stamp set and squealed with delight!! After 4 years I’m still excited each time I pick up my PTI package!! Chanced upon someone’s blog and started following Nichole and slowly following the rest of the design team members. Made my first purchase in 2010 as well and it became a monthly affair for the next 2+ years. Still buy products now even though I’ve relocated out of US, just can’t be as frequent. What got me started purchasing was I’m a sucker for meaningful sentiments etc and I loved that I could use them on inside of cards as well. I also absolutely love the designs of the stamp sets released monthly. I think they are the most fun and prettiest designs coming out. I’m in love with so many of the floral and sentiment sets. Also love the inspiration I get from all the design team members. Thanks for getting me hooked on crafting.

I was introduced to PTI through a rec therapist at a rehab facility I attend to help manage my MS. We both share card making as a hobby and I was amazed and thrilled to have at my feet (and fingertips!) this wonderful, endless world of not just gorgeous stamps, but matching dies to take my crafting to new and thrilling heights.

PTI has been a part of many special events in my family but never as frequently as throughout this past year. In 2013 my oldest daughter got married, then she and her DH were blessed with my first grandbaby, Henry.

In addition to the decorations for the hall (lots of draped organza and huge tissue flowers in yellow and grey) I had the honor of making all of the paper products for the wedding, from the ‘save the date’ cards to the thank you notes, along with everything conceivable item in between. It took. While to get the design just right. We tried using the carnations from ‘Year of Flowers: February’, then tried again with ‘In Bloom’ before finally selecting the gorgeous ginkgo leaves from ‘Harvest Berries’. A perfect choice for the season and color scheme. For Christmas I received a beautiful photo album filled with photos from that beautiful March day and one of the very first pages is a beautiful grouping of the invite, reply card, menu and place card beside my daughter’s bouquet. I was so touched.

I can’t tell you how much it has meant to have such wonderful, affordable products that are always beautiful and innovative. You allow us to create exceptional visions for ourselves and our families to enjoy during our most special times together and there is no greater gift. Thank you for the address – I won’t use it for the contest but I’d love to send you a photo of the album page (I might sneak in a few baby shower project shots as well lol). Gratitude is so much fuller when it is shared and I thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart.

First I have to say that I just love the text block birthday die, so cool! So I got into card making about 2 1/2 years ago and started following you then. I’ve been gifted some items and finally placed my first order this past year. Your products are well loved at my house and I look forward to each month’s release. I’ve been a PTI customer since sometime in 2007, within a few months of the first set release. I had been spending quite a bit with the major home party/demo company, but after finding PTI and photopolymer stamps, I quickly quit buying any red rubber or wood mounts. Then you added cardstock, paper, ribbon, dies…I’ve loved it all. Anyone looking at my order history would know just how big an impact PTI has had on my craft room! The warehouse staff does an amazing job, and deserves a huge thanks from those of us who anxiously await our order every month (or more frequently). Thanks also for extra chances to win gift certificates this month!

I started stamping about 16 years ago when my sister-in-law invited me to a stamping party. I was hooked and for about 9 years used that one company’s products. I can’t remember how I found out about PTI but I have been a PTI fan since almost the beginning and have become an exclusive PTI customer. I love how the designs are innovated, unique, and versatile. I love how nothing gets retired and how the products coordinate with one another. Best of all, I love the customer service and the monthly DT creations which always make me want it all. Oh, the dies are awesome too. I could go on and on….

I can’t really remember exactly when I became a customer but it had to be 5 or 6 years ago….early on for sure. My best friend and I would look over the releases, make our purchases (fully intending to share what each other bought!) and spent all of our stamping time together. Holds SO many good memories of all the times we have stamped together – especially homemade holiday cards. I must say, the birthday card projects showcased today are fabulous. However, I didn’t feel I could order at the time because my allegiance was with the company that I was a demo for. I felt so free the day I sent in my resignation to that company and knew I could freely order whenever I wanted and could showcase PTI products on my blog! Some of my first sets were Fly Away, Enjoy the Ride, On the Couch, and my love for PTI grew from there. I am constantly challenged to try something new. I love the way each stamp set has limitless options, and that images are taken apart for easy building of colors or scenes. I have had a great time stamping with mom, going to the original stamp-a-faire with mom and then getting together with my mom and friends for the online version! Thanks PTI for being a part of some very special memories with me and my mom!

I got interested in PTI’s products because I kept seeing them used on projects/cards in craft magazines. I loved the images and checked out your website. I was hooked from that time on! You guys are my favorite company and I have way too many items from you (and eagerly awaiting every new release to add to my stash!) I even got my sisters hooked on your products too! 🙂 You guys are awesome! Keep the fun coming! Happy 7th Anniversary!

Happy 7th Anniversary, PTI! I was first introduced to PTI in 2009 while searching the internet for inspiration. I happened upon, the very talented, Debbie Olson’s blog, Thinking Inking (so sad she is leaving PTI). I was in complete awe of all her creations! Then I clicked on the link to Papertrey Ink. WOW!!! I remember spending hours on the computer looking at all the gorgeous projects, and making lists of all the products I wanted to purchase. My family and friends never have a problem with buying me a gift, because PTI gift cards are always a perfect fit!

I remember receiving a set of stamps with an order, but the stamps were not on the order form. Wow. What does PTI mean to me? For five plus years PTI has meant quality products, amazing inspiration, blessed understanding for my obsession, and tons of incredible anticipation release after release. But the most important aspect of PTI for me has been the people. Nichole herself, the behind-the-scenes staff, the designers, and my fellow crafters. The forum where I have met such wonderful friends. And the fabulous events that have brought us together. PTI is a LOT more than a company to me.

I’ve been following Papertrey Ink since the very beginning. I remember the early announcements on Splitcoaststampers. I didn’t buy anything the first year due to a limited budget, but I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. It’s been really fun to watch the company grow over the years. Papertrey Ink has touched my life many ways. Participating in the blog hop and other challenges has gotten me stamping regularly. My favorite memory will always be doing Stamp-a-Faire last year with my daughter and then being lucky enough to win Top Chef! I’m looking forward to this year’s travel theme. I discovered Papertrey ink sometime in 2009 or 2010 after I saw a card in Paper Crafts magazine using a really cute stamp set (I can’t even remember which one now…LOL). I’ve been hooked ever since. The amazing design team has had the biggest impact on me and my creativity. Getting to see so many projects using the same materials from designers that span the card making spectrum of styles really gave me insight to my own style – what I like, what I don’t care for, what influences me – and helped me pull my crafting style together into a more cohesive, comprehensive presentation.

I don’t have any life altering stories but I do have to give a HUGE thank you to Julie for helping make my baby child’s birthday cards. 🙂
I had ordered 7th Inning Stretch stamp and dies for his birthday this past May and of course because I’m a pro procrastinator I didn’t even begin to start on them till just a few days beforehand…
to which I discovered that during the die coating process mine weren’t “cleaned” well and a couple of shavings were coated onto the baseball bat die which left an imprint on the die cut.
I contacted CS and Julie responded and requested a pic of the defective die and within a couple of days…
I had a replacement in hand and could finish my little guy’s card’s in time for his big day. 🙂

I haven’t always been able to afford a monthly purchase of PTI goodies, however, I’ve amassed a small, but well loved selection of PTI products that I use a lot in my card making. I consider PTI to definitely be the leader and ground breaker in the photo polymer stamp explosion, and each month PTI never ceases to amaze as a trendsetter. New to stamping, I stumbled onto Papertrey in June of 2007 because of a google search for giga Marvy punches. I purchased the punches I was in sought of as well as Little Lady and Butterfly Kisses. From that moment, I was hooked!

I started visiting your blog a couple of months after you started in 2007 and the first stamp set I bought was Holiday Treats, which I still love and use every year. I make and send out 100’s of cards to friends and family every year. It’s a wonderful way to stay in touch and also show people I care. I love Papertrey! Happy 7th!

And, started a blog just so I could participate in the monthly blog challenges. I’ve learned so much along the way- from Nichole and the DT, and from other talented crafters! Many thanks!

I think I came across Papertrey Ink 5-6 years ago through a scrapbooking friend. I saw a few projects on the blog, but didn’t really keep up with PTI until a couple years after that, when I re-discovered all the great releases and inspiration each month. The designs are great and the stamps are such good quality – you can really tell the difference compared to some other companies!

Since this card is going to the warehouse, I wanted to tell them thanks for all of the special things they do to keep us happy. I have never had a company take such care with their products. I was about ready to give up on card making because I just couldn’t find a style I was happy with. I found it in PTI. Happy Birthday PTI

I discovered PTI at the end of 2009. By February 2010 I was hooked on the monthly release countdown and a regular purchaser. Once I started using the cardstock, I was hooked. It is used on every card I make and I have given away almost every other cardstock I had. I love to color with copic markers and when searching which cardstock to use, I found PTI was used, and that started my love with PTI. I have been stamping for over 20 years, but my PTI stamps are the most used in my collection. Thank you for all the great products and wonderful inspiration you give us each month.

I started noticing all these amazing cards showcased in stamping and paper-crafting magazines back in 2010 and wondered who the heck you were, since I hadn’t seen your products in the stores. I went online and found PTI and fell in love. I got my first sets in June of 2010 and have become pretty much addicted. I love Dawn’s new monthly birthday sets-how great to be able to do such a customized card for someone special, they will really feel it was made just for them! Thanks so much for all the wonderful products and ideas you offer.

Thank you for such a fun weekend. I didn’t have time to enter all of the contests but enjoy looking through them and admiring all of the talent out there. I first discovered papertrey about 5 years ago. I saw a card by them in a magazine and it used the button bits stamp set. I had never seen anything so cute before! It took the popped up images a whole step further for me. I wrote down the name of the website and looked it up as soon as I got home from the store. And I fell in love!!!!!! The quality of the products are amazing, the colors are beautiful and I love the coordinating dies and buttons. Thanks for the wonderful ideas and great products. Cheers!!!

I do believe I found Papertrey in 2007, I remember Heather and her Kraft paper….I love using Kraft as well. My first stamp was Background Basics by Lisa Johnson. I so love that you have called out who designed what now on the Store. I know I was enthralled with SCS so that is how I “found” you!! (Geez, if I had known there was a test, I would have written all this down.) lol…Love Papertrey, good thing you don’t have the ordering prior to 2010…I would be in big trouble!!!

My first PTI order was in March 2008. I ordered a package of Stamper’s Select White card stock and the Mixed Messages stamp set. After I touched the paper and saw the crisp, clear images I stamped, there was no turning back for me. It was a little later when I discovered the forum… and then Nicole’s blog… and then the design team blogs. I was one of the lucky ones who got to attend the first Stamp-a-faire in Cincinnati and meet and stamp with some of my stamping heroes. I’ve also participated in both online Stamp-a-faire events. PTI has given (okay, SOLD) me the tools and freely given the inspiration and knowledge to become a better stamper. In addition, PTI has helped me find other people who share, understand, and even encourage my obsession.

I became a Papertrey fan only about a year or two ago. But that’s just because it’s when I first heard about PTI. The paper crafting industry is just SO wide these days; it’s easy to miss this company or that depending on what “circles” you follow. Plus, since I’m a stamper from WAY back (over 30 years stamping) and I was a bit of a “rubber purist” (since many of the early clear stamps weren’t the greatest quality). But after hearing so many great things about PTI & seeing so many great projects by various designers (before I even started following the PTI blog); I decided to give PTI a try. And once I got my first sets & dies; I was SO impressed that I have never looked back! There absolutely is a difference in the quality of different clear stamps & PTI makes the best! I’d love to have it ALL 😉 Happy Birthday PTI – wishing you many many more!!

I discovered PTI in December 2008 while searching for a favor to make for my oldest daughter’s birthday party. We discovered (together) the “Rice Krispie Treat Ice Cream Cone” on the introduction post for the soon-to-be-headed-to-The-Vault set “Love Songs.” We loved the favor idea (and used that) but also fell in love with the PTI stamps. A very demanding baby boy along with my beginning to homeschool meant I had *zero* time to craft – so I just followed blogs until April 2011 when I CASEd a Mother’s Day card Betsy had published in PaperCrafts. I ordered everything I needed (plus some!!) to make that card and I was hooked.

There have been several times that I’ve tried to include a fun little note to the Pickers & Packers on my order – because I know they work HARD – especially at release time. I’ve always smiled when unpacking my order to find a handwritten note back to me. I love that touch of personal service.

Happy birthday, PTI!! Wishing you many more!

Shout out to the staff in the warehouse – great job & happy 7th anniversary! I remember when I was browsing a craft magazine and spied a pretty card using a stunning patterned paper. I looked at the supply list and found it came from Papertrey Ink. I went home and looked them up online. That’s when I discovered the borders and corners stamp sets. Oh, how I lusted after those stamp sets! My only experience with clear stamps was with the cheapie acrylic kind and that didn’t impress me much. After lurking for about a year, I finally placed an order. PTI stamps really stamp like a dream and I’ve been hooked ever since! My favorite PTI experience was indeed attending the very first Stamp-A-Faire in Cincinnati. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I am so thankful to have had the opportunity. Thanks to everyone on the PTI team for all the inspiration and dedication!

It’s hard to think back when PTI wasn’t part of my life and that is because it has become such a big part of my life! I would say that finding PTI is what turned me from being a scrapper to a full fledged card maker! I LOVE PTI & all of the fabulous people associated with it. I have grown soooooooo much as a stamper since discovering PTI I believe it was in 2010, although it seems like longer than that. PTI’s products & team is second to none & think it could also help explain where ALOT of my money goes….LOL. I get so excited for the countdown each month and then I’m so sad when it’s over but then I’m usually stalking the mailman waiting on my package:) And then it’s always exciting to look forward to the Anniversary/Birthday Party each year. You never cease to amaze me with all of the beyond fabulous things you come up with each and every month, year, etc. I just can’t imagine life without my PTI ! So please do me a huge favor (as well as everyone else) and make sure that doesn’t happen!!!! Thank you all for making our days & crafting so much brighter!!!!

Making cards has given me a creative outlet I was sorely lacking and I hope that the pretty cards I have made and sent have brightened someone’s day. The people I have met on the forum are wonderful, supportive, and are the only people who can understand why I jump out of bed at 7am on the 5-15th every month!

I was blown away by how nice everyone was and the great make ‘n takes! After the show, I was lucky to be a giveaway winner of one of the kites hanging in your booth. That kite is still hanging in my craft room today!

I handmade my 250 invitations for my Fall 2011 wedding. We had a fall theme. I die-cut hundreds(!) of Leaf Prints to use on my invites and in our wedding decor. I won’t ever forget those PTI Leaf Prints shapes!

I think I discovered PTI in 2009. I had been a stamper, but once my first child I was born, I just didn’t have time to stamp and wasn’t too inspired by my rubber stamps. I was thinking of just getting rid of all my stamping stuff. But then a co-worker told me about PTI and I just loved what I saw on your web-site. I placed a small order and started stamping again. Now I have so much PTI stuff! I still don’t have lots of time to stamp, but when I do I’m so inspired by your products and your design team!

My first experience with Papertrey Ink was through a friend. She had a couple sets that I borrowed so often she “kindly” urged me to order my own! In 2010, after checking the website to order my own set I fell in love….I would now have a $200 “just one or two stamp sets” order purchased, lol. It’s been true love ever since.

Last year I was involved in an accident that had me learning to walk again. During my rehab at home I made thank you cards for everyone that visited, brought flowers or treats, or sent cards. I have to say card making was my sanity during those long months…..my credit card took a beating but I was a happy patient!

Happy Birthday Papertrey. May your future journey be long and smooth.
