Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Hello Friend Floral Card

I had fun pairing the new Four Square frame with my favorite flowers and leaves from the previously released The Best is Yet To Be set.

For a fun, bold look I heat embossed the frame onto Enchanted Evening with Aqua Zing! embossing powder.  I love the contrast that this created!  I used some of the sentiments from Four Square for the interior of the frame with Enchanted Evneing and Raspberry Fizz inks.

Flowers closep

I die-cut and stamped various foliage from The Best is Yet To Be and arranged them at the top of the frame.  Small dots of silver made with a paint pen highlight the centers of the flowers.

I added diagonal stripes to the Enchanted Evening card front using Background Basics: Super Stripes.  Everything was adhered to a Hawaiian Shores card base.

Polka Dot Birthday Wish Card

There's nothing more fun to make than a blank and white card with pops of color and I thought the striped birthday candle in Polka Dot Parade #12 was perfect for this.

I stamped the polka dots first with a whole rainbow of inks, using two dot sizes from Polka Dot Basics.

I then added the candle and sentiments with True Black ink.

A bit of white crochet thread wrapped around the base finishes the card and adds a bit of texture.

Floral Thank You Card

I pulled out an old favorite, Beautiful Blooms II, to pair up with this Four Square frame.  I heat embossed the flowers onto the Spring Rain card front using White Filigree Embossing Powder.  I stamped the leaves onto Spring Moss cardstock with Spring Moss ink and cut them out with sharp scissors.

Frame closeup

The polka dot frame was stamped onto Harvest Gold cardstock with Summer Sunrise ink.  To give yourself more design options with the frames, you can round the exterior corners like I did here.  The sentiments were added with Spring Rain and Charcoal Palette inks.

I used Spring Rain Gingham ribbon to "hang" the frame from the top of the card.  It is finished off with a small Harvest Gold button tied with white thread.

Rainbow Smile Card

I have another rainbow card fro you today, this one using the FABULOUS new Polka Dot Parade Alphabet.  It is so fun to use and looks so cute with all those tiny polka dots!

I stamped all of the letters first using my designated colors, then went back in and added the stripes using Faux Ribbon.

I trimmed the bottom off of the stamped block and adhered the two pieces apart on my Soft Stone card front.  The opening was the perfect place to tie a piece of crochet thread.

A simple little card that was quick and easy to make!

Make a Wish Candle Card

It is easy to look at something like birthday candles and stamp them right beside one another in a row.  Why not stamp them around a curve like I did here?  The candles were added with Scarlet Jewel, Canyon Clay, Summer Sunrise, Ripe Avocado and Ocean Tides.

The sentiment was added with Dark Chocolate.  For balance, I added atripes on either side of it using Faux Ribbon.

The Vintage Cream card front has rounded corners and is adhered to a Classic Kraft card base.

You Rock Card

I have a single layer card for you now.  As soon as I saw all the little banners in Four Square, I knew I wanted to try doing a bit of masking with a Post-it note and adding the flags down one side.  Here are the results!  The frame was stamped in New Leaf.  The guitar and music notes from Boy Basics: Rock On fill the interior of the frame.

The sentiment flags were added in Hawaiian Shores, Limeade Ice and Enchanted Evening.  A small silver star sequin finishes the look.
