If you have done any holiday shopping yet, you might have noticed that miniature holiday houses are making appearances everywhere! Whether it be as an ornament, a gift tag or mantel decor, they are popping up everywhere. We have provided you with a very simple printable template below so you can create your own holiday house. Feel free to alter it in any way: add windows or doors, additions, glitter, trees, garland, mica flakes, artificial snow, woodland animals or whatever else you can dresm up! You can even display your house in a unique way such as on a cake stand, nestled in a wreath or in a glass dome! We are looking forward to all of your amazing house creations!
So looking forward to this challenge! I love miniature putz houses and have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to them.

Thank you for the free template, Nichole, – this is going to be so fun! I still have a little birdhouse that I created using one of your older templates and I hang it on our Christmas tree every year. I [heart] that little birdhouse and I’m so looking forward to using your new template to make a little house:)
Oh my, this one took my breath away! Love this challenge, and love that you are constantly inspiring us! Can’t wait to get started, and also to see the wonderful creations from all my PTI blog friends!
Wow! What a fun challenge. I have been planning on making one anyway. This is perfect timing. Thanks again for more fun.
The timing is perfect – I just bought the Home Made stamp set & house template a couple of days ago, so now I will able to make couple different kinds! 🙂
Hi Nichole,
Just wanted to let you know that the proper link for the house village no. 2 is…
http://afieldjournal.blogspot.com.br/2009/12/in-lane-snow-is-glistening.html
This glittered Christmas village by Livy of “A Field Journal” was made from cereal boxes, bottle-brush trees and glitter and she shared a few of her techniques. There are lot more pictures to see and be inspired.
Thanks for the sweet little house template. These will
make cute houses for my grandson’s Christmas tree.
I think I am the only one ( perhaps stemming from
my “fear” of Oragami?) that doesn’t get the
line of directions. I see how big you cut the
initial rectangle and where you score it in the middle,
but then there are other lines that I am unclear
about! Is it just me?- Probably! Really want to try
this gorgeous house but I need more directions
please. the dotted lines are lines that
you fold .. but could you please give me all the steps.
I have no natural savvy.. sorry! thank you!
