Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

23 Amazing Years Card
For my first project I could hardly wait to use the Rainbow Stripes die!I decided to pair it up with a fun color trio, Summer Sunrise, Lemon Tart and white.

Stripes
I die-cut the stripes and adhered them directly to my Aqua Mist card front.

23 closeup
Next, I heat embossed these sentiments from the previously released Big Birthday Wishes set using White Filigree Embossing Powder.  I used the original By the Numbers dies to die-cut the 2 and 3 from Summer Sunrise cardstock.  I then stamped both of the digits with the banner pattern from Bitty Background Blocks II using Canyon Clay ink.

Down
Then I die-cut the new coordinating By the Numbers Mats using white cardstock.  I love how that little detail adds SO much to the project and makes the numbers POP from the page!

Interior
For the inside, I used this festive sentiment from the new Inside & Out: Birthday II in Charcoal Palette ink.  The die-cut star (Seeing Stars die collection) was stamped just like the numbers earlier.

Birthday Wishes Card
My next project used the new Rainbow Circles die.  One of the things I love mot about this new die is that you can do SO much with it.  You can cut all the stripes from a single color or use multiple colors.  You can use just a few of the stripes or all five.  The straight portion of the rainbow is extended to give you more design options.  The sky is literally the limit here!

Cutting strips
I opted to cut this one from Winter Wisteria and Blueberry Sky.  I wanted to show you what this looks like once die-cut.  Because of the was die manufacturing works, the ends of the strips are partially cut.  You will need to use some sharp scissors to just snip them from you cardstock like I've shown above.

Focal
I die-cut the word "birthday" using the Birthday Trio dies and Smokey Shadow cardstock.  I then stamped the focal word with the tiny harlequin pattern from the new Bitty Background Blocks II in True Black.  I masked off and inked just "wishes" from one of the larger sentiments from Inside & Out: Birthday II to add underneath "birthday".  The letter "i" was dotted with a black rhinestone.

Down
All of this was adhered to a block of Aqua Mist and adhered to a white card base.

Interior sentiment
For the interior, I added another sentiment from Inside & Out: Birthday II using Spring Rain and Winter Wisteria inks.  Three tiny black rhinestones help to ground everything.

40th Birthday Card
Next up is another card using the Rainbow circles die.  Every time I look at a project created with this new die, I can't help but think about how difficult it would be to get this look if cutting it out by hand!  The dies are worth every penny!

Step 1
I thought I would show you a quick little step by step on how to assemble the Rainbow Stripes.  First you want to die-cut your stripe from whatever color(s) of cardstock you decided to work with and trim them like I showed you above.  Then you will want to die-cut the center circle and adhere it to your card front.  Add some tape around the center circle and adhere your first set of stripes, using the edge of the circle as your guide.  It is best to begin with the center stripe closest to the circle first, then working your way out.  Be wary of NOT adhering the straight portion of the stripes down yet.

Step 2
Begin adhering the second set of stripes in much of the same manner, but make sure that the short ends get tucked and adhered UNDER the first set for a more polished look.

Final assembly
Once you have completed all of the assembly, trim the ends of the stripes to line up perfectly with the edge of your card if needed.

Numbers vs backgrounds
Next, I die-cut my numbers using the new By the Numbers Border die and Simply Chartreuse cardstock.  I stamped them with the tiny hearts from Bitty Background Blocks II using Ripe Avocado ink.

Focal
To begin building the focal point, I stamped the word "Happy" from Inside & Out: Birthday II in True Black.  I then die-cut one of the new Suffix Style options from True Black cardstock to add beside the 40.

Side
I die-cut the word "birthday" from the Birthday Trio die set with True Black cardstock and added that underneath the 40.  Everything is adhered to Smokey Shadow cardstock.

Interior
For the interior, I added one of my favorite sentiments from Inside & Out: Birthday II in True Black.  I also added some of the leftovers from die-cutting the stripes to create these amazing accents for the sentiment.

Vintage Map Birthday Card
My last project today shows a bit of a softer side.  I stamped the previously released World Map in Simply Chartreuse onto white cardstock.  The first step was to die-cut the By the Numbers Border from the map block, reserving all the pieces for later.  I then used Simply Chartreuse & Ocean Tides refills to watercolor the remaining map only.

Number border
After it dried, I added the numbers back using bits of foam tape.  I love the contrast of the watercolored background and the plain numbers!

Sentiment
I added this sentiment from Inside & Out: Birthday II above the row of numbers in True Black.

Down
Everything was adhered to a Classic Kraft card base.

Interior
For the inside, I added this fun new sentiment from Inside & Out: Birthday II using True Black ink.
