We've got a bit of nostalgia to bring you in today's post as we think about memories, America's favorite pastime and the fathers in our lives.  The wonderful thing about today's product introductions is how versatile they are and while we think you'll be inspired by the masculine products in today's line-up, we hope to show you just how well they work on feminine projects too!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Way To Go Slugger Card
For my first project, I was excited to pair up the previously released Sentiment Signs stamp set with 7th Inning Stretch.  I think the two complement each other perfectly!

Hat & bats
I die-cut the hat and two of the bats from Vintage Cream cardstock.  The hat was then stamped in Ocean Tides and the bats in Classic Kraft.  Don't you just LOVE the amazing detail Lizzie included in these images?  They look so realistic!

Words
I stamped the Sentiment Signs text onto Vintage Cream cardstock as well.  I inked it with three colors from top to bottom, Aqua Mist, Spring Rain & Ocean Tides.  The edges of this cream colored block were inked with the Tea Dye Duo.

Slugger sentiment
I trimmed a strip of Ocean Tides cardstock to fit along the bottom and stamped it with this cute sentiment from 7th Inning Stretch & Sew Simple Borders using Vintage Cream ink.  I think the stitching added here helps to replicate the stitching found on the hat at the top of the card and add needed balance.

Down
All of this was adhered to a Spring Moss card base.

Grand Slam Card
My next project is the perfect card to celebrate a boy and his birthday!  I started by creating the label at the center of the focal point.  I die-cut Rustic Cream cardstock with a Rectangular Labels die then I stamped it with the coordinating image in Pure Poppy.  I added a background to it using Fine Linen ink and Background Basics: Postmarks.  Numbers were added to form a border using Get to the Point and Pure Poppy ink.

Glove
The glove and ball were die-cut from Rustic Cream cardstock as well.  I stamped the glove in Dark Chocolate and added stitching to the ball with Pure Poppy.  I love how the ball looks here, nestled inside the glove.  And again, that realistic detail from Lizzie's illustrating skills is just amazing!

Chevron arrow
I added a background border using the chevron arrow border stamp from Teach & Inspire using Dark Chocolate ink.

Down
I swiped the edges of the Classic Kraft card base with Vintage Cream ink to help soften it a bit.

Floral Birthday Wishes Card
You aren't going to believe what I used to create the background on this card!  The baseball stitching image from 7th Inning Stretch came into play when creating the "leafy" looking borders!

Sentiment
I die-cut the Boutique Borders: Father frame from Aqua Mist cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image using Hawaiian Shores ink.  I added a sentiment from Irresistibly Ikat in VersaMark and heat embossed it with White Filigree Embossing Powder.  I added layers underneath it with Hawaiian Shores and Aqua Mist cardstock strips.  I ended up deciding to adhere all of this at an angle to help break up the "boxiness" of the overall project.

Background
I used the baseball stitching stamp with Raspberry Fizz & Simply Chartreuse inks to create these elongated oval borders.  They are actually really easy to line-up point to point.  I then filled the centers using a small flower fromTo You From Me and some small accents from Fancy Folk Art using Aqua Mist & Hawaiian Shores inks.

Down
To finish off the project, I mounted everything onto a Raspberry Fizz card base.

Father's Day Photo Card
I have a sweet little photo card to share with you next, a little something I put together for my Dad to celebrate Father's Day in a few months.

Photo
I added the black & white photo to a block of white cardstock and stamped underneath it with half of the frame from Boutique Borders: Father using Canyon Clay ink.  I also added one of the sentiments from the set using True Black ink.

Memories
I cut a block of adhesive cork and die-cut the bottom with the Wonderful Words: Memories die.  I then actually removed the word and used the remainder of the block and the negative image leftover.  I was really excited about how this looked and the texture it added.

Down
To finish, I added a small clip and some washi tape from Target to the top of the card.

Wonderful Weekend Card
Here is another project using that beautiful new Wonderful Words: Memories dies.  I thought this would be the perfect little card to drop in the mail to someone that might have hosted you for the weekend, perhaps tucking a few photos inside.  I started with a strip of Melon Berry cardstock die-cut with the notched border strip from the Get a Handle On It die collection, stamped with Irresistibly Ikat in Fresh Snow.

Memories
I die-cut the Wonderful Words: Memories word from white cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image in Berry Sorbet.  "Thanks for the" was added in Charcoal Palette ink above this.

Wonderful weekend
I trimmed a strip of Berry Sorbet cardstock and added the "wonderful weekend" sentiment from Thanks All Ways in VersaMark and heat embossed it with White Filigree Embossing Powder.  The ampersand from Get to the Point was added in Berry Sorbet ink.

Down
I stamped the heart from Simple Valentine in Berry Sorbet and cut it out, mounting it with foam tape to the front of my project as a a finishing touch.

Fore Your Birthday Card
For my last project, I wanted to use the previously released On the Links set along with the new dies we are releasing for it this month.  I put together a really simple, clean card that would be perfect for nearly any guy on your birthday card list.

Cart
I die-cut the golf cart from white cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image in Blueberry Sky.

Sentiment
I added "grass" underneath the cart using two strips from Watercolor Wonder and New Leaf ink.  The sentiment was added in Enchanted Evening.

Down

I added the flag using Charcoal Palette ink and Summer Sunrise as well.  Everything was mounted onto a New Leaf card base, featuring an accent strip of Summer Sunrise stripes paper.

I hope you have enjoyed all the creations that I have shared with you today!  What do you think?  Do some of these new products fill a void in your stamping arsenal?  What are you most excited to put to use first?  We would love to hear your initial thoughts on everything we introduced!  Please leave a comment on this post to tell us what you think of the new products and you will be eligible to win big!

    Nichole,
You make beautiful cards and always inspire me so much. Today I am all verklempt by your Memories with Dad card. It is so perfect in every way. My dad would have loved to receive that kind of card on Father’s Day. The memories die will be just the thing I need to make a special project in honor of my dad. Off to look for photos and reminisce about the special moments I cherished with my dad. It’s been seven years and I still miss him every day.

Loving the baseball and golf images & die cuts. I especially like what you did with the baseball stitching on that oval background. One thing though… when you insert that comma in the phrase “Love you, Dad” it is as if the Dad is doing the speaking. To say you love Dad, the comma should be removed.
