But I think I would really love to visit Egypt, historically the birthplace of civilization. I’d love to see the Sphinx and the pyramids before pollution and time cause them to disappear.

I’d like to see all of the different countries on that tiny island that represent so much of my heritage. The history in that country is fascinating too and I loved walking on cobbled paths placed there by the Romans. What a joy that would be to return there. Thanks for the little ‘brain-cation’. 🙂

That’s a really hard question for me…..back in the 1970’s we lived in Luxembourg, a tiny country about the size of Rhode Island, between Germany, France and Belgium….and we got to visit many surrounding countries during the year we were there. Have not been back since, and it’s a dream to get back to several of them: Luxembourg would be my first choice, then Austria, and Switzerland because of those Alps and the beautiful scenery they provide.

I’m turning 50 this year and maybe it’s just me or a midlife crisis but my priorities are definitely turning. I’ve raised my kids, I’m single, so it’s my time, as selfish as that may sound.

My “one of these days” dream travel list is crazy long with a lot of foreign countries, but if I had to narrow it down to just one, it would be Germany. My ancestors are from Germany and one of my second cousins wrote a book about my great-grandparents immigrating here and settling in Wyoming. It would be fascinating to see where they came from and how it contrasts the place where my grandfather and father grew up.

I’ve dreamt of going to FRANCE since I was a small child. Paris, of course, at the top of my list. I found that whether I was cooking, painting, seeing my own clothes, or discovering design as an art form-there was always a long and lustrous history of these pursuits in Paris. What better city to romance curiousity and creativity?! When my Grandfather passed away recently, revealing a hidden French ancestry, my passion for that dream trip was permanently branded in me. I will find a way to get there one day!

Ooh, hard to pick just one…

I love everything related to Jesus…..
so to be able to go follow in some of his foot steps would be an amazing journey! Guess that would entail going to Israel, Jordan, Syria just to name a few.

    Am a huge WWII buff……
so any of the countries relating to that. If I had to pick one, would probably be France since I would love to see Normandy.

However, my husband has Italian in him and I have German….
so would love to see Italy, not only for the food but the amazing countryside and architecture. As for Germany, would love to see the countryside and both places would add to the WWII excursion.

Thanks for the opportunity to win a very generous PTI gift!!

I would love to go to Italy, sit on a patio overlooking the vineyards and hills, with an nice glass of wine (of course!), and take in all the beauty. 🙂

How can I choose? There are so many places I would like to visit. I would love to visit Australia because it has everything: beaches, desert, forest. Then I might as well stop in New Zealand, because I would be so close!!!

My choice would be Ireland to visit where my Father’s family once lived, but I’m sure I’ll never leave the USA and it’s still fascinating to explore, so I’m content with that!

I would love to go to Paris with all the beautiful paintings, sculpturs and tapestry of long ago. Norte Dame would be spectacular as well as the Eiffel Tower with it’s sparkly lights.
