It’s got to be Gone With the Wind! Great release!
I would say the “Notebook” – My husband had me watch it one day when we had an argument and I was balling my eyes out.
Somersby!
One of the oddest love stories, and one of my favorite movies with the most brilliant dialogue must be “As Good As It Gets”.
“Somewhere in time” with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymore
Gotta be Twilight!! Read the books 3 times and now enjoying the movies. Gone with the Wind comes in second.
Probably not on anyone else’s list but I loved Pretty in Pink. It had comedy as well as love and that’s my favorite kind of movie.
little women- my favourite book of all time!
My favorite love story in a movie is in Cinderella Man.
Ever see the movie “Laura”? TCM plays it from time to time. It’s mystery, obsession and love, played as only old Hollywood could film!
‘The Notebook’ is my favorite movie……still cry every time I see it!
Mine would be Titanic.
I remember the little chick flick “It Could Happen to You” from quite a few years ago with Nicholas Cage and Bridgit Fonda as being a cute love story. I’m sure I’ll think of some far better ones when I’m fully awake.
I’m a Twihard fan. Absolutely love the books and the movies. Second all time fav that I can watch again again is P.S. I Love You.
It is hard to pick just one, but I would have to choose The Notebook.
As a classic, I love Pride and Prejudice. As a more recent read, I enjoyed the Time Traveller’s Wife. Great release this month!
I love Ever After. It’s perfect.
Mine would be the notebook, thanks for a chance to win
“When Harry Met Sally” is a favorite.
Thanks for the contest! A fun question for this release.
I really liked Sleepless in Seattle. Good luck to everyone!
My favorite love story movie is Save the last dance, which (if you didn’t guess 😉 also is a dance movie and that combination is what I really really love in movies!! Thanks for this amazing new release!! Love it!!
Wow…tough question! The first one that came to mind was The Notebook, but I’m sure as the day goes on I’ll come up with about 100 more!
I would have to say The Vow. It’s a tragic event of a young married couple that got into a car accident, and his wife is so impaired she doesn’t remember her own husband. He tries everything possible to help her remember and to get better, but it ends up splitting them up in the end, only for them to take one step at a time, start dating again, and finally get married all over again.
I have also loved The Notebook, The Time Travelers Wife, and A Walk to Remember
Sleepless in Seattle always warms my heart.
I love When Harry met Sally! It’s such a sweet and funny story!
“when Harry met Sally” is my favorite movie. Thanks.
It’s an oldie, but I never tire of “You’ve Got Mail.”
Pride & Prejudice – just watched it again yesterday! So, can you guess which PTI set is one of my faves?! Simply Jane is at the top of my all-time most loved PTI sets! =o) Merry Christmas!
It’s really hard to pick one book or movie as a favorite. I have so many, but I really have enjoyed the story of “While You Were Sleeping” over and over. But, then, I also love Pride and Prejudice and the Sound of Music. So many good ones. Love the new sets and all the goodies that go along.
Ghost would be my favourite and the scene with the potters wheel……oh Patrick Swayze you are a spunk!!!
My favorite book with a love story is “redeeming love.’. It is a powerful fiction story about a woman who had a difficult childhood receiving uncondional love for the first time and she has a hard time receiving that love based on her past.
Serendipity. It it a love story about faith, hope, and fate. Plus, I have a crush on , John Corbett!
So many great ones already listed – how about adding Ghost. Thanks for the chance to win!
No question, for me the best love story ever is Jane Eyre. I think I’ve seen every movie based on the book, but the book is absolutely amazing!
When I was a teen, I read and reread “A Patch of Blue.” The movie starred Sidney Poitier. It is the story of a poor, abused blind girl helped by a young African American man. I was so touched by their love story, and, of course, who wouldn’t fall in love with Sidney Poitier.
My favorite love book is defenitely “Pride and Prejudice” from Jane Austen (also as movie with Colin Firth) And I also like the movie When “Harry Met Sally”. Two classics but I watch them over and over ….
My favorite is The Notebook.
English patient i think! 🙂

It would be Twilight!!!
Say Anything – classic John Cusack.
Wow! Beautiful creations for this months release. My favorite love story is “An Officer and a Gentleman.” thanks for making such wonderful products.
I love The Time Traveler’s Wife! If you haven’t read it, you need to!
I am not usually one for romance movies, but I absolutely LOVED The Lake House with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock! I love any movie with time travel paradoxes and this one was a great blend of that and the romance!
Love actually different love makes me feel great everytime
The Notebook. I cried until I was all stuffed up at the end. Lol~
My favorite movie of all time is Moonstruck. It’s a great love story.
For books, it has to be Happy All the Time by Laurie Colwin. Beautifully written, lovingly shared and timeless in its elegance. As for films, many of those listed are wonderful, but the two I turn to time and time again are I’m With Lucy and Love Actually!
I have many many favorites but I love the relationship between Jude Law and his daughters in The Holiday.
Dirty Dancing and Ghost – loved anything Patrick Swayze!
My all time favorite is Fools Rush In with Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry. It’s a great comedy about bringing different cultures together. Much like my own marriage!
Pride & Prejudice – an oldie but goodie!
The classic Pride and Prejudice! Love the book and the movie versions. Great month of new releases!
Without a doubt, Pride and Prejudice, the version with Colin Firth.
l love ‘ days and nights ‘ of Gilbert Sinoue. I can read it to the infinity. Quite as the book explains it, the love is stronger than everything
The Passion of the Christ…hands down!
I just finished reading Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks and it was excellent! Right now that happens to be my favorite love story book.
There are so many good love story movies, but one of my faves HAS to be You’ve Got Mail…an oldie, but a goodie. 😉

Definitely The Notebook. I cried through the whole movie so much that I went to work the next day with my eyes all red and puffy. 🙂
I LOVE the movie Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
I love “You’ve got Mail”. And if I have to choose a book it would be Anne of Green Gables and her Gilbert…
That would have to be “Love Story”. Love means never having to say you’re sorry.

My favorite movie is Love in the Afternoon with Aburey Hepburn and Gery Cooper
It has to be a Star is Born. Love that movie!
I love them all, but one of my top favorites has been “Pretty Woman”. Love the ending. Also “You’ve Got Mail” is right up there (makes me cry sweet tears). So good!
Diana Gabaldon’s ‘Outlander’. I couldn’t put this book down..and as long as it is, it was too short!!!
the Notebook is definitely at the top of my list! such a romantic love story!
Sound of Music!
My favorite Love story Movie is the Notebook…also fab release this month so much Yumminess !
Pride and prejudice! Great story!
The Sound of Music is my favorite. I’m excited to see the remake with Carrie Underwood as Maria.

The Notebook – awesome story
I can’t think of a beeter film and book than Gone With The Wind – a classic anytime!
it will be “Gone With the Wind”. I just love that storie

Hmmm…that would be a toss up between the classic “Gone with the Wind” and “You’ve got Mail”.
For me a toss up between The Notebook, Somewhere in Time, and Notting Hill….
I love The Notebook…I still cry every time. So excited for 10pm to come-the releases this month are lovely!

Two #1 favs–one is animated, one is not:
Beauty and the Beast and, Return to Me with David Duchovny and Minnie Driver…love, love, love these movies!!!

I have many favorites, but having just returned from Mackinac Island. I would say “Somewhere in Time”. Thanks for the inspiration.
While you were Sleeping….love that movie!
There are so many! My favorite has always been You’ve got mail.
The Notebook is my all time favorite!
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen!! ;o)
There are so many, but one of my favorites is City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage — makes me cry every time!
It is hard to pick one……but if I had to pick just one it would be The Proposal. I watch it everytime it is on.
The Notebook was the first that came to mind-I first read it years ago on a flight to Minneapolis, about 5 pages at a time because I was crying so much I couldn’t see!
My favorite book would be The Gift. I think it would really be classified as a short story. It’s a Christmas story by O’Henry, I think
Sleepless in Seattle makes my heart sing.
WONDERFUL CREATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
My favorite book or movie featuring a love story? That would be Jane Austens’ Pride & Prejudice AND Sense & Sensibility!!!!!!!! 🙂 (Hmmm, I haven’t watched the movie or read those books in awhile. MAYBE, I’ll have to watch the movie or read the books again soon! ) 🙂
It definitely has to be Sleepless in Seattle. It is such a wonderful story. Anytime I see that movie coming on cable I can’t help but watch it.
The Notebook has special meaning to me. It is truly the story of my mom and dad.
I’m not big on romantic movies but I love Titanic with Leo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet!!!
I loved the Notebook
I loved the book “As the Crow Flies” and “missed” the characters once I finished the book. Silly, I know, but I really can get attached to the characters and that makes a good read for me. It was a love story that spanned 70 years and it really was just wonderful.
Now I need to make a list of all of the things I plan to order so I can get that amazing free set!
My favorite is “Love Story”. I saw it with my first love long ago while in high school.
The notebook, hands down the best love story ever!!
My favorite book that features a love story is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Very good book about loving people through hard times.
I have two favorite movies in the love story category…Pride and Prejudice and Last of the Mohicans. I’ve seen them both so many times!
It has to be “Somewhere in Time” with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves – the music just gives you goose bumps!
I really love the movie “While You Were Sleeping,” such a funny and sweet love story 🙂 Beautiful products and projects for this month!
Hmmmm. Kinda depends on my mood I think. Right now, “You’ve Got Mail” comes to mind as a sweet love story. I’m loving several of the Christmas love stories that are on TV now too.
Dirty Dancing, especially when he says, “Nobody puts Baby in the corner.”
The love story I am thinking of is in the Elm Creek Quilt series by Jennifer Chiaverinni between Sylvia and Andrew. Think I chose this one because it centers around my other favorite hobby, quilting.
Has to be Moonstruck, mainly because it’s one of my husband’s all-time favourite movies and I just adore that about him. We love the Italian feel to the movie, and the music and the characters.
Shadowlands! The story of C.S. Lewis the famous author and his wife. A total tear fest!
It’s hard to choose one favorite, but I probably The Notebook.
The first movie I ever saw with my husband was “When Harry Met Sally”. That is my favorite love themed movie of all time. A couple others — “Sleepless in Seattle,” and “Pretty Woman”.
Forrest Gump…such a pure love story.
I would have to say … A Walk to Remember. BTW, wonderful release!!
My absolute favorite love story is The Time Traveler’s Wife, which was then made into a movie. I still prefer the book over the movie. A very, very close second is The Notebook!
I choose Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly. I can watch that movie over and over again, and never get tired of it.
This is a tough one – The Way we Were, Gone with the Wind, Sleepless in Seattle, Love Story, Same Time Next Year, You Got Mail. But one movie that I watch over and over – Pride and Prejudice. Wouldn’t everyone love to have a Mr Darcy? Fabulous release!
I think all truly great books have a love story. My faves would have to be Pride & Prejudice and These is My Words. The latter has a terrible title, but is such a great story about a young woman’s survival in the Arizona territory in the 1800s. And of course, there’s a love story in it too.
Gone With The Wind! Classic. The history of how the film was made is fascinating!
Gotta love “The Notebook”
My favorite movie would be “Sleepless in Seattle” not only for the great love story but the little boy is adorable.
As for a book…love the series of books by Diana Gabaldon “Outlander” which tells the love story of Jamie and Clarie Frazer—a must read in all of the fabulous books in this ongoing series.
What a very excitning countdown! Thank to all the ladies on the team for all their beautiful work.

My favorite would be the Sound of Music–it’s a love story on so many levela–love of children, music, life, country and of a man and woman.
When Harry Met Sally is one of my many favorites!
Favorite movie – I have soooo many but… Sabrina. The original with Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holden – I love it. At the beginning she has a schoolgirl crush on the William Holden character but she falls in love with Humphrey Bogart. It’s just a great movie – funny, romantic.. I’ve watched it a million times. I’ll throw in one more movie just cos I can’t help myself LOL – An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr – the original “meet you at the top of the Empire State Building”… at the end, when he finds out she had her accident and that’s what kept her from meeting him… ahhhhhhh wonderful!
I think I have to say Pride and Predjudice. It a popular choice but it is an amazing love story. I can
watch it over and over and never get bored.
I love love story movies! There are so many classic ones and new as well: Love Story, The Way We Were, Gone With The Wind, The Bridges of Madison County, The Vow, The Notebook, and so many more! But, my most favorite one that I stumbled upon one night channel surfing while being sick is “A Farewell To Arms” with Rock Hudson & Jennifer Jones. A real tear jerker! Not one to be seen when your are sick with a cold & are already nasely congested! LOL
Somewhere in Time, my all time love movie favorite. I can watch the film over and over without getting tired of it. So love that movie and the sountrack too.
Without a doubt, The Princess Bride! This story presents love as the commitment that it really is with all of the beauty, romance, and humor that only True Love can offer. This is a family favorite movie also.
Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s not really a happily-ever-after love story, but as a viewer you’re compelled to fall in love with the characters! I still cry every time I watch it. 🙂

My favorite love story in a movie was Benny and Joon.

Hmmm tough choice. I would have to say bridges over Madison county.
I love watching Titanic … that’s my favorite love story!
When Harry Met Sally… my all time favorite!
Oh, a few commenters already mentioned The Notebook! This is the first and only book that had me cry my eyes out! It was so frustrating to have to read through my tears, what a beautiful story!!

I have so many favorites, but I always come back to Anne of Green Gables.
I really enjoyed “Ever After” (movie). Classic Cinderella tale with a bit more reality (but only a bit).
Since I was young, I have always loved “Gone With the Wind” (both the book and movie)…but now that I have been married for almost 20 years (!!!), I would have to say “The Notebook”…
Without a doubt, the notebook!
Love the classics, Pride and Prejudice is timeless.
It would have to be pride and prejudice! love it!
I’d have to say “You’ve Got Mail”. I have watched that so many times I couldn’t even count them. 🙂
Gone With the Qind, hands down… I never get tired of Rhett and Scarlett, and I just love Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh!
One of my absolute favorites is Gone With the Wind. I love the combination of the story and the history of that period. However, it’s hard to pick just one, I’m also a Nicholas Sparks fan and I love A Walk to Remember – especially the movie adaptation.
All of the books by Nicholas Sparks…..he gets me every time!
Green Dolphin Street is absolutely my most favorite romantic book. I just found a copy and gave it as a gift this year.
I love Pride and Prejudice and also Somewhere in Time…thanks for such a great Valentine product release.
I love You’ve Got Mail . Such a cute story of love .
My favorite would have to be Titanic (the movie).
This is a very hard question because there have been so many wonderful movies and books featuring great love stories. Some of my favs include; The Lake House, Somewhere in Time, The Notebook, The Little Mermaid :o), and on and on…told you, hard question! :o)
The Princess by Lori Wick is one of my favorites. There are so many great ones, though!!!

I have two favorite books…The Notebook and The Bridges of Madison County.
It’s a toss-up for me between Return to Me and You’ve Got Mail.
By far for me is An Officer and a Gentlemen. What awesome new collections.
One of my favorites, that’s great for the kids, too – The Princess Bride. “As you wish!”
I have so many, but for some reason Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn popped in my head first!
I’ve had many favorites through out the years, but the one that warms my heart is “You’ve Got Mail”.
Grease is my favorite!!!
Mine would be Love actually great movie.
Its got to be officer and a gentlemen.
My favorite, especially this time of year, is Love Actually.
I have two Favorites of All Time: Love Jones & Notebook. Don’t make me choose, I Love them both equally and deeply. I find myself wanting to watch them each year.
When Harry Met Sally is the first thing that came to my mind.
Absolute favorite love story in a movie is “P.S. I Love You.” I know it’s sad, but it’s funny, it makes my heart sigh knowing that even after passing away love can hold on like that!
Since it is the holiday season I will say the movie “The Holiday” with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black. Must have funny with love.
Thanks for another great release and so many inspiring ideas.
Sleepless in Seattle…love that movie!
Pride and Prejudice! (the five hour version with Colin Firth). Usually watch it every summer on the one day it gets above 30 degrees (centrigade)when it feels too hot to do anything else. It has become a tradition.
For me, it’s a tie between “Casablanca” and “The Princess Bride.” Two very different movies, but I love them both.
Silly but I love Lady and the Tramp. 😀
P.S. I Love You is the best. Both my brothers recommended the movie and it’s such a lovely movie. About a husband who knows his wife so well that he had written a letter to get her through her grieve when he dies. I cried so much through the movie, but that movie just show what love really is.
Favorite love story book is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers because it isn’t just an incredible love between and unlikely couple but also the story of how God loves us. I don’t have a favorite love story movie as I am a sucker for any kind of good romantic movie.
I would have to say The Notebook. My mom had Alzheimer’s and the way my Dad took care of her was a “love story” also.
I am such a Meg Ryan fan…it would have to be When Harry Met Sally or Sleepless in Seattle. Whenever I see either of these on TV, I can’t help but watch them all over again. 🙂
I still love an oldie but goodie in Love Story. The Notebook is a lose second though.
I love the movie For Love of the Game!!! The Vow is awesome too!!!

I like It’s a Wonderful Life for a love story.
My favourite movie with a love story is definitely the Princess Bride- cant get tired if that movie!!
I love musicals & a favorite is Brigadoon–wish they’d show it again.
Wow! Looking over the other comments, I am reminded of lots of my favorite “chick flick” movies. 🙂 This is going to sound corny, but I would say my favorite love story would be the Bible – it’s full of individual love stories, but the main theme is how much God loves us. It’s also the story that’s made the biggest impact on my life.
Amelie is a fun little romance; it is my all time favorite.
Its got to be the vow!
My favorite love story is about Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind. I’ve read the book and seen the movie many times.
The first thing that popped into my head was Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. Love that never dies, and a hysterically funny Whoopi combination – love that movie!
I would have to say the romantic comedy, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days. One of my all time favorites!!
I loved the movie Ghost – so many memorable moments, from funny to poignant.
Knotting Hill has always been a favourite romantic movie of mine. Love the humour and the self deprecating hero! Another favourite isi Princess Bride, though that is as much adventure as it is romance – plus it has the best lines for quoting. Thanks for a great release and another chance to witn PIT stuff!
I just love the book Outlander. The story is beautiful and continues on in other books but the first in the series is by far the best.
Twilight ….. Loved all three books and the movies 🙂
Happy holidays …. Kat
My favorite love story is Stephanie Meyers, Twilight
My favorite love story is of Claire and Jamie in the Outlander Series Books!!!To travel through time to find your true love and fight for him against all odds and circumstances and vice versa not knowing what awaited you now that to me is true love…best story I’ve ever read and so did my husband and believe me that’s saying something…
Denise Trottier
P.S I love you. But I adore also Titanic.
This is an awesome release! I love, love! My favorite love story movie is “Sleepless in Seattle” and “Sweet Home Alabama” is a close second.
Oh wow! There are sooo many love stories that I adore and can over and over again. Many great ones were mentioned here and each time I read the title I was going “Oh yeah! Me too!” but in the end I would have to say “Pretty Woman”. I just love the Princess feel of it. How can you beat Julia Roberts & Richard Gere?
I am a Julia Robert fan so it has to be Pretty Woman. Something about saving a girl…gets me everytime!!
Wow, there are so many, but since it’s Christmas time and I always try and watch White Christmas, I’ll choose it. Besides the obvious love story, there’s just a lot of love in the whole movie.
Pride and Prejudice for sure. The book is the best! And the 8 hr version with Colin Firth is the next best.
Wuthering heights.
there are so many…but I have to say Twilight, I loved the books and the movies.
I also loved You’ve Got Mail.
The very first movie that popped into my head was “The Sound of Music”…while not a traditinal “love story”, it certainly brings the whole love, trusting, and loyalty to issue.
My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. I love that story! Thanks for a chance to win. 🙂
‘Return to Me’ written and directed by the incredibly talented Bonnie Hunt and also starring Minnie Driver, David Duchovny, Carol O’Connor, Robert Loggia… is my favorite romantic movie – the perfect blend of romance, drama and humor with an all star cast. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t already seen it. My husband bought the DVD of this movie for our first Valentine’s Day together. 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!
I would have to say Sleepless in Seattle.
The Outlander series of seven books (so far) by Diana Gabaldon, which I first received from our DD, is my fav. Love is in the air here with 2 DDs recently engaged! Thanks for this opportunity; love all the new products!!!
Doctor Zhivago is a great movie.
While You Were Sleeping is my favorite – sweet story, and I love the chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman’s characters. Sleepless in Seattle is also fun…some things are just “magic”, right? <3
Thanks for a great release, and thanks for the chance to win!
Because I’m a total softie for love stories in books and film, my list could be quite long! So to keep this post to a reasonable length I will say my current favorite film that features a love story is “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.”
I LOVE Walt Disney’s “Tangled”! There’s no better ending than, “They lived happily ever after!”
I love the Twilight series of books and for a movie I like Love Actually, especially around this time of year.
Great release as always!
Linda
The Notebook. Great release! The DT rocks the stamps and dies. You’re very clever and sly that way 🙂
Wow – I have so many! Serendipity is at the top of my all-time favorites list, though. I love how fate just kept conspiring to put these two people together, and how when they just let go, what was meant to be happened in such a magical way. Others of note: Love Actually (family love, romantic love, unrequited love), Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, City of Angels, As Good As It Gets — the list goes on and on!
I would have to say Titanic.
Great release and thanks for the free stamp set offer.
Kim C
Kate and Leopold is just the *best* love story 🙂
Jamie and Clare from the Outlander series of books by Diana Gabaldon.
Hands down, the movie and the book, The Notebook. Nicholas Sparks is awesome. 🙂 Love all his work. Also the “sequel” novel to The Notebook, The Wedding is pretty amazing as well. 🙂
Lauren
Last Valentine’s Day my husband and I watched This Means War. Lol. I guess not your classic love story, but it made us both very happy. I loved the romantic comedy aspect and hubby loved the action. 🙂
My favorite is A Walk to Remember. It always makes me cry!
That’s easy – I love the movie When Harry Met Sally.
Lots of possibilities but I would have to say The Notebook.
I love reading Pride and Prejudice.
Oh geez. Talk about a hard choice! Book series – Anne Shirley books. You get to see their whole love story from first crush to watching their kids get married. Stand alone book – Pride and Prejudice. What’s more fun than two very flawed but wonderful people overcoming extremely dysfunctional families with some sharp wit? Movie – yikes. Beauty and the Beast? The Quiet Man? Roman Holiday? Notorious? I just can’t choose.
Hands down is Gone With The Wind!
Since I am a romance novel junkie, it is almost impossible to choose a favorite love story. One of my top tens is Whitney, My Love by Judith McNaught. I would definitely like that book to appear if I were stranded on a desert island.
Oh there are so many I love….but The Notebook must be my favorite!
There are so many love stories that I love. My favorite movie would have to be Sweet Home Alabama.
One favorite??!!?? Wow! That is tough as there are so many .. I would have to say “You’ve Got Mail”, with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, although there are many contenders in my book – Camelot, Cinderella, Gone with the Wind, to name a few. Wonderful release, PTI!
Love Actually. My husband and I watch it every Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would have to say Beauty and the Beast! It’s such a classic tale about true love. It never fails to make me swoon. =)
“Love Actually”. So many different love stories in one movie. Plus it’sa holiday movie too!
I believe the greatest love story is LOVE STORY with Ryan O’Neal and Ali MacGraw.. I still remember the crying heard throughout the theatre!
Oh boy, what a tough question! So many come to mind and I can’t pick just one..I watch Leap Year, The Holiday, PS I Love You, and Sense and Sensibility over and over.
My current favorite movies are Hachi: A Dog’s Tale and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close; a dog’s love and a mother’s love (and father’s love also). And
Gone With the Wind.
Since my mind is in Christmas mode, I vote for White Christmas with Bing Crosby.
Pride & Prejudice is definitely my favorite love story. I own the book in paper, electronic, and 3 different movies 🙂
I’m a fan of Pretty Woman =)
I would have to say Persuasion by Jane Austen, or perhaps Pride and Prejudice. In the book version of Persuasion, you see so much more of the incredible passion with which Captain Wentworth loves Anne, and vice versa. And Pride and Prejudice… well, that one’s obvious.
I like Cinderella.
Gorgeous cards! My favourite romance is the Blue Castle by Lucy Maud Montgomery (famous for Anne of Green Gables).
Pride and Prejudice! And Emma.
The notebook!! I read the book and own the movie… I never get tired of watching it – it’s a classic.
Love Story…………….
My favorite love story movie is While you were Sleeping! I could watch it daily if I had time.
I would have to say the notebook. But I love so many of them, you can never go wrong with a good love story!
When Harry Met Sally is a classic favorite!
Overboard. yup, I know, I’m a total sap. But I’ll watch it anytime it is on.
I think my favorite would have to be The Sound Of Music–I just love the plot and the music in this classic.
My favorite movie is Nanny McPhee. While there is a love story that unfolds at the end, I think it’s a story about love on many layers.
There are so many great ones, it’s hard to choose a favorite. I would have to say that The Notebook is definately at the top of this list though.
It’s a tie between An Officer and A Gentleman, and the The Notebook! Thanks for a chance to win!
bdcampers@msn.com
The “Notebook” is my favorite movie. I cry every time I watch it.
i love sleeples in seattle!!!
I would have to say Pride and Prejudice.
So many favorites, but the first one that comes to mind since it’s the holidays is Love Actually – it makes me laugh and cry! From a book perspective, I would say The Notebook and The Wedding – I’m a total sap for a good love story!
As always, beautiful release and inspiration!
There are so many that I love, it is hard to pick just one ( I am a romantic at heart) but my first favorite was “Dirty Dancing”.
My favorite love story book: The Time Traveler’s Wife. My favorite love story movie: Pretty Woman (complete and utterly unrealistic and yet I can’t ever not watch it when it is on.)
I read all the time and I would say anything Nicholas Sparks writes! I love everyone of his books and look forward to what he writes next! He just knows how to portray humane emotions in word!
Love Actually. Ever seen it? It is funny, tearful, joyous, heartbreaking, hilarious, sad…with a happy for all (nearly) ending. Cast of seemingly thousands including: Hugh Grant, Keira Knightly, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, Denise Richards, etc.
I’m not even a romance reader or viewer and I found this to be a wonderful movie.
Thanks for a great release and a chance to win!
What an awesome new release! You and the DT outdid yourselves on this one.
My favorite book (which has been made into a movie a number of times) is Pride and Prejudice. Can’t tell you how many times I have read this one. Always a sucker for a happy ending! And a book that I wish they would make into a movie is Fanny Burney’s “Evelina.” It has everything: love story, drama, slapstick comedy, lush scenery and costumes–you name it!
sounds crazy but love the movie My Dog Skip! True, it’s about a boy & his dog, but that can be a love story too right?!!
My favorite would have to be While You Were Sleeping. That was my husband and my first date. Little did we know that his parents were seated only 4 rows back. He had no idea until he heard his dad laugh. My kiddos love hearing the story how grandma and grandpa almost ruined our first date.
Without a doubt… The Scarlet Pimpernel. I read this book at least yearly!
The Princess Bride, the only love story my 10 y/o son will say he actually enjoys watching.
Hands down….While You Were Sleeping! My daughter and I have watched this movie countless times together. It’s also the most quoted movie by our family at any holiday meal…”These mashed potatoes are soooo creamy!” Gotta watch it if you haven’t seen it!
Since this is nearly Christmas, I choose Love Actually which is set at that time of the year and has not one, but many, love stories.
My favorite movie is The Notebook! I could watch it a hundred times!!
Hmm..my faves would be Sleepless in Seattle, Pretty Woman, and Twilight!
Gone with the wind:)
My favourite movie that features a love story will definitely be The Last Song.
My favorite love story is “When Harry met Sally”.
Without a doubt, Diana Gabaldon’s book Outlander. It is an epic book series and is a must (X3) read.
Oh, this one is easy! My favorite book is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, the one that began the love story of Claire and Jamie (which continues through 6 more books, with the next to be published in 2013 – I’m waiting patiently… NOT!).
I love Lady and the Tramp. As a kid it is one of your first love stories. It has drama and who doesn’t love Lady and Tramp.
For me it has to be “Gone With the Wind.” Loved the book and the movie.
It has to be “Sabrina” with Harrison Ford & Julia Ormand. We spent our honeymoon on Martha’s Vineyard – I get especially mushy during that part 🙂
I love The Host by Stephenie Meyer… It’s not a conventional love story and it never seems to be in the forefront of the story but it melts my heart every time. *sigh*
I love books and my two favourite love stories are ‘The Elegance of the Hedgehog’ and ‘The English Patient.’
“If Lucy Fell” is an older romantic comedy featuring Sarah Jessica Parker and I have always really loved it!
It is a classic, but mine is Pride and Prejudice. It is as popular as it ever. Has been. Quality writing stands the test of time.
My favorite movie that portrays a love story is definitely The Notebook. I cry everytime I watch it!
I have to say “The Notebook” is one of my favorites. The story is beautiful and very touching.
Pride & Prejudice and Wuthering Heights are my favourite love story novels!
No book, but I love the movies The Lakehouse, The Time Traveler’s Wife, the North & South miniseries, and While You Were Sleeping. I love the strong characters that the leading actors me and wish I had that in real life. One can dream, right?

Can I pick two? 😀 Pride & Prejudice (both book and movie) and While You Were Sleeping. Love them!
My new favorite is Crazy Stupid Love!
My first thought is Nicholas Sparks: The Notebook. Such a beautiful story!
I have soooo many…but The Notebook came to mind first. Love Story, Sleepless in Seattle, Pretty Woman, As good as it gets and on and on. I am a true romantic and I cry in all of these movies. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would have to say “Pride and Prejudice” (the 2005 movie with Keira Knightley). I have the movie and have watched it more than 6 times! Great release this month. Merry Christmas!
So many choices! I guess my book favourite would be Pride & Prejudice, and my movie favourite would be Sayonara.

Loved Pretty Woman
Book and Movie are The Prince of Tides are in my favorites
‘The Phantom of the Opera’ – the movie that was made recently with Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story looks at different kinds of love, and you can’t beat the sets, costumes, and music!

I LOVE 500 Days of Summer…reminds me of being young, falling in love and breaking up in a unique and quirky way.
Oh my list of favorites would be miles long. So here are few.
Classic (Golden Age Hollywood): it’s a toss up between “It’s A Wonderful Life” (Jimmy Steward and Donna Reed) and “Random Harvest” (Ronald Coleman and Greer Garson).
Modern: “While You Were Sleeping” – from the time it was released, my sister and I have loved to watch it together … fun memories.
Sound of Music
Pretty Woman.
Nichole, your cards are beautiful today. Thanks.
Pride and Prejudice has been my favorite from the moment I saw the original black and white movie. It’s a classic.
I remember my dad took me to the movies when I was just 10 years old. I was really too young to watch a love story, but he took me to the movie because it had been filmed on Mackinaw Island, only an hour from where we lived. I’d been to Mackinaw Island several times and was quite familiar with the sight of bikes and horse-drawn buggies at every turn. For cars are not allowed on Mackinaw island. The one exception in the history of Mackinaw Island was for the filming of this movie. Somewhere in Time was my first love story movie and still remains a favorite. I remember thinking that Jane Seymour was the prettiest lady I had ever seen and wondered why Superman was in this Love Story. haha! The soundtrack is filled with lovely music, as I am especially fond of the title track. I recommend this movie to anyone who’s not had the pleasure to see it.
I love “Notting Hill”. I can never go past Hugh Grant & Julia Roberts. For an older, my long time fav is West Side Story. LOVE that one too…..
I LOVE the NOTEBOOK and PEARL HARBOR!! I own them both and whenever I need a good LOVE story I pop them in!! THANKS for sharing and for the chance to win!! Have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! 🙂

Penny H

My favorite love story movie was “An Affair to Remember”. It’s just the best!
Definitely The Notebook! I cry every time. Thanks for the chance to win this very generous prize!
Today what comes to mind is Titanic, although on any other given day a different one may be on the top of my list. There are so many movies on Lifetime and Hallmark that are great love stories for all.
I just loved the movie rendition of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. I can remember myself as a young girl wondering what kind of man I would marry. The characters don’t fall in love the traditional way. The man is a man of honor and does things to protect the woman and her family that did not benefit himself, even though she still thought ill of him. They fell in love with the true character and nature of each other, even in a time where marriage secured your status in society. True love. Sigh. The Vow is a very close second!
So many…. Love the romantic Movies. I loved Sleepless in Seattle, The Vow, Pretty Woman, Ghost, to name a few. Great release!
My favorite is a book that was made into a movie many, many times. That book/movie is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. In fact, it is so popular that PTI has a stamp set too. I watch this DVD every year at Christmastime.
My favorite love story movie is “You’ve got mail.” It has the incredible combination of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, lots of humor and a story about a couple who meet online, which is how my husband and I met.
Ah well it’s a tough one as I can think of a few, but the 1st that came to my mind was Romeo and Juliet in old Shakespeare’s English… 🙂 <3
In keeping with the season we are in I would have to say “It’s a Wonderful Life”. I watch it every year and cry every year. 🙂
These days our family is loving The Princess Bride, since we introduced it to our kids recently.
Sounds like a popular choice but mine is “The Notebook”. I loved the book version of “The Time Traveller’s Wife” and I will always love “Pride and Prejudice” (both the book and the movie).
That’s a hard question because every love story touches my heart. I cry at love stories in books and movies! I’m a sentimental sap! I’d have to say my fave, though, would be Somewhere in Time.
Ok I know this is twisted very twisted but Bridges of Madison County.
That’s easy…Notting Hill is my fav. Love the music in the movie and the setting.
First comes to mind is Ghost!

Casablanca! Classic love and sacrifice.
One of my very favourites is a book called The Scarlet Thread by Francine Rivers; it’s a story that weaves 2 generations of love stories together one through a journal, and one modern day. One of the stories powerfully shows a couple on the brink of divorce – falling in love again. It’s really a very beautiful!
I’m sure no one else would put this, but being the only female in the house, I don’t see a lot of love stories. I love the romance in Dances with Wolves, Legends of the Fall, and Nightmare Before Christmas. These are the kinds of romances the mother of three sons gets to see!
I love the movies Ever After and The Notebook. 🙂
I think I’d have to say PS I love you…loved the book!
Pretty Woman!!!! Just LOVE it even after so many years 🙂
I just read a wonderful book called “Eternal on the Water” by Joseph Moninger that features a gorgeous , though ultimately sad, story of everlasting love. Wonderful!
Sounds crazy being that it’s from Alfred Hitchcock but “Marnie” is my favorite love story in my all time favorite movie since I was little…who doesn’t love a suave Sean Connery…and the beautiful Tippi Hendren???
The Notebook is my first thought…although there are so many more!
I love The Cutting Edge – an ice skating love story with D.B. Sweeney and Moira Kelley.
I love Sleepless in Seattle. I can’t wait to share that movie with my daughters.
Sweet Home Alabama!
Love Story by Erich Segal
First movie to come to my mind was Titanic! So sad & beautiful at the same time!
It would have to be The Notebook…love that movie!
“The Notebook” was an amazing love story!!
I love romantic books and movies, but anything from Jane Austen (book or movie) would be in the top 5 for sure.

Sigh…
Pride and Prejudice (love the book and the BBC movie version) and The Mirror Has Two Faces (movie).
My most favorite book is Fortunes Rock by Anita Shreve. It has drama and heartbreak as well as love and tenderness. It is ultimately a love story between a man and women but also about the different and dynamic love relationships we all have.
An oldie but goodie….Funny Girl! And, of course, The Notebook.
The first movie that came to mind was another Meg Ryan movie…You’ve got Mail…but also like the Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds and the Wedding Date with Debra Messing (guess I have a thing for unlikely love pairs). Great release this month. And what an amazing “freebie” for today’s orders. Thanks!
That is an easy decision for me. My favorite movie and book is Pride and Prejudice. I love all the movie versions from Laurence Olivier to Colin Firth.
I love “Sense and Sensibilities” as a love story! Brings tears to my eyes every time I see it.
The Notebook! 🙂
That’s a fun question. Gotta go with the movie I have seen most often (guess that would mean I like it) and it’s probably a tie between Notting Hill and Hitch. I love me some humor with my love story 😉
How about Love Story! I was a young girl when it came out. It was the first love story I ever saw!
I guess mine would be Outlander and all the follow-up books in that series. Thanks for the chance to win!
Definitly – The Notebook
An oldie goldie for sure…. Sleepess in Seattle
Without a doubt …The Lake House with Sandra Bullock And Keanu Reeves … Oh so good!

You’ve got mail for sure, I love that they filmed in the upper west side of Manhattan where I lived for 8 important years of my life!
Another vote here for ‘When Harry Met Sally’. I know it’s more of a Rom-Com but it’s still romantic in the end.
I love Notebook.

Best. Release. Ever. I love The Princess Bride!!!
The Lake House is one of my favorite movies. Lovely release this month!
There are so many I love. The Lake House, Ever After, The Proposal, The Promise, While You Were Sleeping, Anne of Green Gables. If I had to pick just one, it would have to be Ever After. I love a good fairy tale.
The Notebook makes me cry every time. I want to die the same time as my sweetheart because I can’t imagine living without my best friend. I also love Moulin Rouge.
My all time favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast! I have just finished the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and I love the love story in it.
There are so many movies to choose from, but I’ll go with a comedy love story to keep with the happy spirit of the season “4 Weddings and Funeral”

I also love The Holiday (Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet & Jack Black) it’s a fantastic movie. Love it! Also The Vow, The Time Traveler’s Wife, oh my gosh – The Lucky One (book & movie – both great)! Ok, I could keep going, but I’ll stop…obviously I love me a good love story! 🙂
This is super hard…but I love Pride and Prejudice (book first, but movie close second). And since we watch mostly kid movies around here, I love Beauty and the Beast and even Disney’s Princess and the Frog for the good changes that both characters make in order to see the best in the other person.
Great release! Beauty and the Beast & Gone with the Wind!
The Way We Were with Barbara Streisand and Robert Redford.

Nicholas Sparks..’Notebook’
The sweetest love story of all.
I love all his books.
Twilight! This is the best love story ever told!

Love this month’s release!
“Notebook” is my all time favorite!
The book and movie that touched me the most to date is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. Even though the story in the book and movie slightly differs, I was just moved to tears. I also love the book and movie P.S I Love You by Cecilia Ahern.

You’ve Got Mail because she falls in love with him twice.
There are so many books and movies I love but Notting Hill jumped into my head this morning as one of my favorites…love the ending to that one!
