I have a photo of my grandsons together in a wagon. It is my favorite photo of all times and I use for everything. Of course they have grown and always ask who are those guys? Too cute!
I have a wall with three framed pictures and every morning when I see them I smile. The first is the picture of my parents on their wedding day. It was a 70’s wedding including the hair! People always tease and ask who those hippies are. The second is a picture of my husband’s parents on their wedding day. It’s a perfect classic early 60’s style photo. Finally, our wedding picture is up. I just love to see what made “us” possible. 😉
My favorite photograph(s) is the one we always took at Easter at my grandparents house right before our big egg hunt. They took a picture every year. It was fun to see how we all changed over the years!
I have a picture of my daughter sitting at the front of a boat and she turned around and looked at me and she had a big smile on her face. I snapped the photo and it came out perfect. My daughter had been having some troubles at school and it was finally good to see her smiling.
Oh my, tough one! I have lots of favorites but to pick just one it would have to be a photo of my great-great-grandmother. It’s a photo of her in an old cane chair, taken outside. She is holding a baby in one hand and a big old shotgun in the other. A very old and treasured photo.
My favorite photograph is of my Dad when he was young and newly married and at his first real “job”. It is special to me because I lost my Dad at an early age, as a matter of fact, he passed away 25 years ago today. So that photo is very near and dear to me.
I have a favorite photograph that is actually of myself and I never like photos of myself. It was taken at the end of my wedding reception. I am leaning back in a chair with an exhausted look on my face, messy hair, and a big twinkle in my eyes. When I look at that photo I remember how happy I was that day and how happy I am to still be sharing my life with my husband 16 years later.
My favorite photograph would have to be a family photo taken on my wedding day in Dec 2008. We were all dressed up and looked the best and the photograph was taken by a professional photographer. Sadly, we weren’t given another chance for more great family photos because my youngest sister got sick again and passed away in 2010.
My favorite photo of all time is the birth announcement of my first grandchild, with his precious little picture on it. My heart has never been the same!
Our wedding photographer captured an adorable shot of my husband and I, 27 years ago. We are both looking into each others eyes and the love we have for each other just radiates through our faces. I love seeing that photo, it reminds me of how special my husband is and how lucky I am to have him in my life.
My favorite photos are always Christmas eve at my house, with all my family and friends.
My favourite photo is one of my best friend and I together in Paris. She had been before, and written a song for me while there. Years later, she took me back to the place that inspired my song. Five years ago I lost her to breast cancer – so that photo of 2 youngs girls ready to take on the world is very special to me.
My favorite photograph of all time is one of my daughter dancing, it’s a moment of pure joy.
My favorite photo is of my brother and i when we were little. We were at the zoo. I was 4 and he was 2. I was holding his hand and we were facing the animal. It is a sweet shot.
My favorite photo is of my Grandfather when he was in the Marines during WWII. My father looks just like him:)
My favorite photograph of all time is a black and white one of my three children. A friend of mine was trying to get into the professional photographer business and offered me a free sitting if she could use the photos of my kids in her portfolio. My goal was to get one good photo of the three of them together. My boys were very reluctant and not at all excited about being photographed buy my little one posed all afternoon. At the end she tried the group photos and my favorite is the one in which the boys are smooshing their little sister and are being totally silly. She captured their personalities.
My favorite photo was taken on auto timer right after my husband proposed to me in Ireland on the Cliffs of Moher. The shot is of us kissing while sitting on the cliff.
Great release! My fav photo is of my twin sister and I when we were about three, she in blue overalls and me in red. I look at it now and see the resemblance of our children in us and just smile at how cute we were!~
My favorite photograph is one of about eightteen years ago, with my Pim and me taking the dancing lessons examn, both dressed up and a bit nervous. That was the start of getting to know each other and our wonderful relation of now already over seventeen years! Love that!
My favorite photo has to be the photo I took of my grandma at my brother’s birthday about 4 years ago. She was on that photo just the way she was, very relaxed. It’s just a beautifull one and everyone in the family wanted it.
At her funeral that specific photo was on her coffin and I couldn’t be more proud for taking this photo for everyone. Got so many compliments of people (even people I don’t know), as that was a photo taken exactly the way she was.
My favorite photograph is one of my son, nephew and niece when they were just a couple years of age, sitting together on my sister’s front porch swing half asleep (and dirty) after a fun day of playing together. About 18 years later we took a picture of all three of them on the same porch swing after another day of hanging out together –I love that they have remained so close.
My favorite photograph is a family picture we made during our vacation three years ago our last vacation with the six of us together.
My favorite photograph is one of my Mother ( age 6) and her Twin Sisters (ages 3)having a tea party on the lawn in their backyard many many years ago. I have used it several times to make cards for them on different occasions. They are now 88 and 85 years old! Makes me happy to relive a favorite time for them.
I only have one picture of my Mom, Dad, my 2 sisters, and me all together. I think it is from Christmas 1975, and my father passed away the following May. I had just turned 4 in the picture, and that means my sisters were 28 and 21. My Mom is smiling while looking at my Dad who is holding me (I was trying to wriggle away and I have my hands on my face like “Oh NO!”) My two sisters are beaming at the camera in their crazy 70’s plaid pants. Your contest today made me think that I should run out and have it framed tomorrow…I never knew it was my favorite until you asked! 🙂
I have a photo of my dad smiling on Christmas Eve just a week before he died. He is very happy and it was the last time I saw him, so that photo is very precious to me.
That’s such a hard one to answer. I think my favorite photo is one of our three sons at our middle son’s wedding. Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite picture is one that my husband took of our grand-daughter Brooke. He captured her laughing when she was about 9mo old. We call it “Pure Joy”.
After my father passed away I was sorting through all the color slides and came across a picture of my mother and I coloring Easter eggs. We were leaning over the counter and had our heads together in deep concentration. I was probably around 6 years old. My mother is no longer with me so this picture grabbed me. It is now printed and on my piano. What a memory!
My favorite photograph of all time would have to be the photo I took of my husband and our kids right before he deployed to Iraq the first time. It reminds me of how precious time is and how thankful I am to have what I do. Everything changed for us on that day and none of us were ever the same.
My favorite photo is my 5-year old niece with two of her medals during her recognition day at kindergarten. Even if Im away working overseas, my my mom & dad are there to support her all throughout her schooling. Im so proud of her.
My all-time favorite shot is one of my husband fishing in his kayak early in the morning. He is basically in sillhouette with a bunch of sparkly blue water all around him. That photo just seems to exemplify summer relaxation.
Genealogy is my other passion. I have a 1942 photo of my 6ft 2 1/2″ dad in his Army uniform standing next to his 5ft 7 father. And then there’s the one of my great grandmother and great aunt in the 1920’s, looking like they just got off the boat with their long dresses and hats. And then…. Shutterbug Special material.
My favorite picture is one that my dad took of my sister and myself. We are walking through the woods on a fall day. Fall is my favorite season. We are walking away from the camera and holding hands. She is about 4 years old and I am 7. The fall leaves come up to our knees and the trees surround us. It is a beautiful and sweet picture.
It is a photo of my family on the steps of the Art Museum. They flew in from all over the country to surprise me on my birthday in 2008!
My favourite photo is a recent one taken of my little family – where we are all looking at the camera and smiling! Pretty good for a 2 and 5 year old…and it was taken with the camera on a timer! Very proud of that one.
My favorite photo is from my wedding day. It’s a photo from before the ceremony of my dad kissing me on the cheek. He’s no longer with us and it’s one of very few photos of us together. He asked that I put it in my daughters room so that she would always know who her grandpa was as he passed away when she was just 4 months old. It’s been on her dresser for 12 years now. Miss you Dad.
My BFF had an old photo of us as young teens arm-in-arm together, and when I turned 40 she gifted me with a copy of that photo along with a similarly posed photo of us as adults, which she took while we were on vacation together. She had it all planned – we were in the same position, arms around each other – it was like a carbon copy of the older photo. We remain best buds …
My Kindergarden school picture. My teacher was at her desk looking at all the students’ packets of school pictures. She called me up to her desk, so I thought I was in trouble, but she just wanted to tell me how beautiful I was in my school picture. That comment has stuck with me and continues to make me feel beautiful everytime I see the picture.
My favourite photo is from our wedding day. One of the most happy and special days my life.
Oh gosh! A hard one. I think it has to be me and my daughter when she was just 5months old – we were on a windswept beach and I held the camera at arms length and took the picture – and it came out just fab! She is snuggled close to me, both of us looking at the camera – just a really lovely photo. And even though she is now 6, I still have it in its picture frame, on display. The boys were on the beach playing with their daddy, and it just reminds me of a fab holiday and special family time.
My favorite picture was one taken professionally of my children. They are laying down stacked on top of each other. It was so fun having it taken. (sometimes those professional sittings can be so stressful if the kids won’t cooperate)! 🙂
There are so many favorites, but the one that came to mind is of my older daughter when she was three weeks old sitting in her boppy. Her hands look like they are clasped and she has this kind of wise contemplative look. Everyone who saw the photo at the time remarked how she looked so much older and like she was really thinking. She seems to have lived up to that photo. She is my more contemplative, measured, careful child.
It’s a picture of me and that itself is a miracle because I hate pictures of me 🙂 I am 4 years old and I am on a boat trip with my parents. There was a photographer on board and he loved that I would smile even though I only had a couple of theeth in my mouth. It’s such a happy photo and my parents told me this story over and over again that it seems like a memory of my own by now.
My favorite picture is my 2 boys in cowboy outfits with a western background. The boys were ages 3 and 5 and Joshua had a tear in his eye. They are just so cute in the picture and it is priceless. Gotta love it.
Blessings, Peggy
I have a photo of my son and daughter from when they were 4 and 3 years old. It was taken in the summer and they we’re in our boat. Both of them were just beaming with happiness and they had their sunglasses and life jackets on, and the wind was blowing their hair. I just love that photo!
I have many photos that I love but one of my favorites is one that I took when my youngest son was 4. We had just gotten a Golden Retriever puppy, and he had climbed into the box and was cradling the puppy in his arms. The look on his face was so precious!
I have a picture of my son when he was deployed to Itaq the second time. It was just before he left and he was leaning over hugging his dog. He and Bodie (his military K-9), left a few minutes after that to head out. I wasn’t sure if I would ever see him again and I cherished that picture and still do.
My favorite photograph is one that I took of my 3 kids on the beach last summer. They’re all dressed in white and jeans and instead of posing like requested, they started playing around – it turned out so cute that I had it framed and used it for our Christmas cards last year.
My favorite is a photo that my sister gave me for Christmas of my parents on their honeymoon, so young and so happy.
I have a photo, just a snapshot, nothing fancy of my late nan & grandad, but it’s so precious to me. I take to it often. It sits in my craft room and when I can’t find something I always ask nan to help me, she’s pretty good at doing it too!
my favorite photograph is of my 2 granddaughters and I…it makes me smile everytime I see it….I was sitting on the ground and they both came over and hugged me at the same time, one from behind and one from the front….my daughter in law captured the moment…..One of my favorites because I only get to see them maybe once a year due to distance and always fear they won’t recognize me the next time….
My favorite photograph is the family picture that was taken last summer. We don’t often get together so it was nice to have this memory to look at every day.
My favorite photo is a picture of my husband, three daughters and myself enjoying a beautiful vacation in Hawaii. Sadly, it was the last vacation we would take as a famil,y as he passed away a little over a year later.
My favorite photo is of my 2 boys running on the beach in front of a lighthouse at our favorite vacation place. I have it framed and its in their bathroom. It was a difficult time with 2 young children but a great time also. I treasure those moments. Their growing fast now and I have a senior and a freshman and I treasure every moment with them. Thanks
I have a photo of my mom and dad when they were dating. For some reason it seems to be the only one that exists. I will always treasure that torn & beaten up photo.
I had been dating my husband-to-be for a year and was visiting with him for the weekend with my daughter who was 2 years of age. We would visit back and forth, commuting 2.5 hours, just to see each other. We did this for 1.5 years.
He was standing in the back field of his then 35 acres after giving us a ride. He jumped down, put my daughter on his shoulders and was talking to her is a soothing calm voice as the sun slowly set for the day. I captured the rays just hitting them creating a halo around the two as they stood. I remember thinking,,, such a strong young man, with such a gentle heart. I knew, without a doubt, I loved him and I would love him forever.
We have been married 23 years and still going strong. And that little girl is 24 years of age today.
That’s a no brainier for me. It’s a photo of my dad with my kids when they were babies. Still brings a tear to my eyes.
My fave photo(s) is of my son when he is around 2 years old sitting next to his female cousin Alyse of a similar age. In one photo they were laughing cutely together and in the second photo (only taken a minute or so later) they looked a little cross at each other. Their faces were so full of toddler expressiveness and they both looked utterly adorable. They are 17 and 18 years old now!
When my husband and I were engaged, we lived near Las Vegas. To mess with our parents, we photoshopped ( not well, I might add) our heads onto an ad for a Vegas wedding place so that it looked like we had just gotten married. My mom totally fell for it, even though our heads clearly did not belong on those bodies. It’s a reminder to me not to take stuff so seriously.
A picture of my friend and I when we were little in my backyard. We are still friends over 20 years later.
Mine would have to be of my dad walking me down the aisle. 20 years ago next month. He passed away almost 7 years ago. He was so proud and happy. Love him and miss him dearly.
Amazing, once again!! Thanks for quality, trendy products!
I am from Slovenia, but I married my housband 13 years ago in Las Vegas. We only have 7 photos, taken by our limo driver and they are my most valuable photos.
My mom had her three (at the time) grandkids sitting in the back of her little station wagon and she had taken them to get ice cream. The three of them were licking their ice cream cones, had ice cream and smiles all over their faces! My two and my brother’s, who was later killed in an auto accident at age 16. Very precious photo.
I love this photo I have of my Dad sitting at a tiny childs table with my 2 boys and my nephew having rootbeer floats. This photo is from about 25 years ago and it just makes me smile and touches my heart.
Two young hands, two rings on a bouquet of yellow roses and “Happy Ever After”…that’s just how it’s been for nearly 33 years HEA. That wedding photo is my favorite!
I forgot to describe my favorite photo! It’s one of my sister and I at 4 & 5 yrs. old. We’re in our old timey swimsuits, arms around each other, big ole’ grins. and carefree.
It sits on my craft desk along with photos of our sons as a reminder of happy times.
It is a picture of my husband and our son Ted. Ted is only a few months old in the picture and I LOVE it because he looks so content and safe in his Dad’s arms.
My favorite photograph is of my family that my husband took with a timer at a local park. We were too busy raising our 4 boys(all close in age) to take many photos so this one is special to me.
This is one of the toughest questions…but if I have to pick one I think it would be one I have of me and my cousins wth my grandmother. It brings back the happiness of childhood.
We have photo of our 3 teenage children with their Grandma (my husbands mom). It was towards the end of her life and was taken outside in a garden. The kids are surrounding her and the sun is shining just so that Grandma’s face is illuminated. I’ve never captured love in a picture quite like that.
The first picture that I have of all 3 of my grandsons taken together and given to us for Christmas. They’ve grown so much since then and it’s such a special momento of earlier times.
My favorite photo is one my husband took of my boys. They playing in a grassy field by our house, they look happy and adorable. I liked it so much he had it blown up and printed on canvas, and it hangs in the living room . Everyone who comes in comments on it.
I could never choose a favorite, but one I love is of my boys holding their little sister for the first time. My husband had my mom dress them in suits to come to the hospital. They look so sweet! They were smitten with her. It’s a beautiful photo.
The photo from the day my husband and I got engaged. We got all dressed up, me in a long black dress, he in his Alphas (his green dress Marine Corps uniform) and he took me to a restaurant we’d never been to in Orlando. Afterward we walked around the lake, found a bench, and that is where he got down on one knee and proposed. We asked a stranger to take our pic, (emphasis on strange!) and Phillip later said he thought the guy was going to run off with the camera and if he did he was going to chase him, lol. It was President’s Day 2003. We got married that July 🙂
my son, as a shepherd in a school Christmas play. Great release by the way
My favorite photo that comes to mind, is one of my grandmother holding my hand at the beach. I was three! She is the first person to tell me about Jesus…and her prayers led me to Him many years later. I feel that photo is a beautiful representation of her spiritual and physical guidance in my life from the very beginning. I miss her!
A photo of my husband’s grandmother holding her great grand children.
My 12 year old son’s first shave! Caught him in the mirror with shaving cream and a Trac Two razor with Dad laughing in the background. Just awesome! Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite photo is one of my brother and me in the mid-sixties. He had gotten a cowboy hat and pop gun for his birthday and I am standing behind him in short dress trying to imitate him pointing the gun. The ever annoying little sister…. still am!
My favorite photograph of all time is probably the portrait of my mother in her wedding dress. My mother died in a car wreck when I was young (8), so I never got to talk to her about her wedding, all the preparations… you know, the “girly” details. So this portrait is very dear to me.
My favorite photo is of my grandma Celia, whom I am named after, at the SC state fair in the 50s. At the time of the picture, granny did not know but she was pregnant with my mom. I look at the picture a lot bc it’s like seeing my ancestry in one quick glance.
My favorite photograph is a photo of my grandmother, my mom and me. I think it is the only photo we have of all three generations and I treasure it. You can see the family resemblance that connects us and the bond of love that connects us also shines through in that photo. My grandmother passed away several years ago and I miss her greatly. I have the photo on my desk so that I can look at it every day.
I have a photo from a summer vacation many years ago. I took three neighbor kids to the beach with me. They are three sisters. Our relationship was and is so much more than “neighbors.” We are family that chose each other. The photo has all three sisters in a vertical row, youngest sitting, next behind her, oldest behind her. Their faces shine with the happiness that we experienced all week. We had the best week ever.
My favorite picture is one of my husband and I on our first “date”. We were going to a formal dinner at his work and he showed up to pick me up dressed in a nerdy getup. That photo makes me laugh every time.
My favorite photo is the first photo we took at the hospital right after my daughter’s birth. She looked so tiny and adorable and our smiles just spoke of pure joy.
It is hard to choose just one! My favorite photo is one of my son when he was a toddler mowing the lawn with his Fisher-Price lawn mower going one way while his dad was headed in the opposite way with the gas mower. It is such a wonderful father/son shot, and after all these years, I still have that little toy lawn mower!
I have a picture of my daughters picking blueberries. My youngest was too small to reach high enough on the bush so my oldest daughter picked her up. It is just the sweetest picture.
My favorite photograph is a family photo taken on our wedding in 1997. We were all dressed up and looked great. I like this photo very much, because there I have all of my familiy members together. Since then many of them passed by (grandmother, grandfather, aunt).
My favorite photo is of my grandma and her sister from 1911. They are 6 and 4 years old in the picture. Wearing dresses that their Mom made and pigtails. They have such serious faces, but oh so cute. Looking at the photo now you can see how the new generations resemble bits of Grandma.
The black and white photo is from 1959. I am 3 years old wearing a white crisply starched dress. My father and I are standing in the doorway of the kitchen of the apartment we lived in at the time and my arm is fully extended over my head holding my dad’s hand. He is young and vibrant and handsome. It is one of the few pics I have of us both when I was a very small child and has always made me smile.
I have a picture I took of my husband in the Roman coliseum. It reminds me of the history we saw and I remember thinking that the world seems smaller now. And it reminds me that we were there even though sometimes I still can’t believe it.
My favorite photo of all time has to be a picture of my son at one year old. It was a professional picture, but it was just a magic moment the photographer captured. She sat him on a white chair and threw a white blanket up in the air and let it drift down onto his head. He just grinned and she snapped. We call it his “angel baby” picture because everything is white and soft focus and he looks so sweet. He’s 13 now, and I can hardly believe how he’s grown!!
I have a picture of my three children from Christmas Eve several years ago—we always take a picture with Santa’s cookies every year—it’s a beautiful picture of all three of them and is very special to me.
A photo of my then 3 month old son smiling while he slept in his infant carrier… That’s my fav.:-)
My very first memory is sitting on the sidewalk playing with a yellow match box truck. I was so happy just sitting there zooming away. Life is so easy when you are only 2 years old! I have a photograph of it and looking at it reminds me of my childhood. Happy, innocent and carefree.
My favorite photo is one of my Dad at probably 18 years old……in that photo I also see my cousin, my son, and hopefully someday, one of our grandchildren. My Dad is still with us, 92 years and going strong, and I cherish this photo now. But I can only guess what it will mean to me down the road.
My favourite photo of all time is a black & white candid photo of my then 6 year old daughter dressed as a flower girl with a beautiful french twist up-do in her hair with her arms around my husband’s neck and she’s planting a kiss on his cheek. His smile coupled with her dimples is adorable in it’s purest form. He’s since passed away and she’s nearly an adult but that photo shows how much they loved each other better than any other.
My favorite picture is one I took with my family first time we visited the ocean park. We were all smiling, I was probably 11 at age then, it’s seldom that we went out for fun with my lovely grandma, who had left us for more than 10 years, I miss her so much
My favorite picture is a black and white photo of my brother, sister and I when we were younger. We were just walking down the street, but I love the picture and the emotion that it captured … happy times 🙂
My favorite photograph is s professional one my grandfather had taken of himself before he got sick. It looks exactly how I remember him.
My favorite photo is one of our granddaughter. It was taken on a trip to Disney World, and she is wearing a Disney Princess hat, and we have always referred to her as “our little princess”. The photo makes me smile every time I see it!
My favorite picture is of my two children. They are 1 and 4. They have coordinating outfits on. But, what I love most is that they are barefoot and my son’s little foot is hanging over my daughters leg. That wasn’t posed and it makes me smile every day when I look at it!!
My favourite photo of all time is one taken of my two kids taken when they were 7 and 5 making pancakes in our old kitchen at our old house. It was a spontaneous picture taken that I have had re-printed many times. Great release!
A family photo of my sisters, my mother and me taken from the 80s when we were young. From the looks of the photo, it was a normal weekday morning. My sisters and I were dressed in our girl scout uniforms with bookbags in hand, and my mother was dressed for work. Everyone looked just so happy. My mother is deceased and, now that I am a parent, I love this photo even more.
I started to tell about my little one’s first photo.. then I thought of the one with the noodle bowl on her head, then I remembered the one in her uncles work boots and yellow safety jacket (she’s four.. hilarious!). I went to my album and started to look and realised that each time I take a photo of her.. it becomes my favourite .. because its the last stop in our journey through life together and there’s the hope of the next to come.
Its a photo of my little family of 4 with our Great Nan, taken on her 90th birthday in January this year. She lives in England and we are in Australia so it a precious memory of our time with her.
My favorite photo is one taken by a photographer of our family in our yard with our first cat. We were all so excited to have a prof. pic taken in our own yard with our dear family cat.
My favorite photo is one of my daughter when she was about 2 years old. She was laughing out loud, and i just happened to snap that photo. I love that photo and i had it enlarged and it hangs in our home.
I have a picture of myself with my children taken when they were little in front of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller center. It was dusk, so the tree was was all lit up, but there was enough ambient light in the sky and from the street lights that it created a beautiful warm glow over everything. I’m sure I could never recreate that picture, it was just perfect timing that it came out so beautiful.
My favorite photograph of all time is one of my grandmother and grandfather. I didn’t get to spend much time with them as a child, but got to reconnect when I was older. Now that they have both passed, I love looking at that photo.
My favorite photo is one of my mother the summer of 1999. She is sitting on a stack of manure bags under a big tree in her front yard next to her flower garden. My mother passed away a few months later. I love looking at the photo and seeing her so happy in the place she loved best; at home in her garden.
I have a picture of my four kids that makes me smile. I managed to capture their little personalities and freeze in time.
These are all so beautiful to read!
My favorite photo — and I, too, never knew it until this moment — is a black-and-white taken in 1934, of my mother as an infant, just one year old, lying on a blanket in a New Jersey park on a spring day. Her mother (my grandmother) lounges on the blanket, while *her* mother (my great-grandmother) sits in a lawn chair next to them. In the back you can see their black early 1930’s car. I’m guessing my grandfather took the photo. About a dozen years ago my mother had it enlarged and framed and it was in my parents’ house. Last year my mom died suddenly of a brain hemorrhage and now I am inheriting that photo. It shows the strong women I come from, and every time I look at it I am grateful to my great-grandparents for coming to America.
My favorite is a photograph of my dad being “team-hugged” by my two sisters and me when we were little girls. The love just radiates from the picture.
A photo was taken by my dad of my first born son sleeping on my shoulder the day after we came home from the hospital. It is definitely my favorite photo.
It is probably my picture of me holding my daughter after she was born…my first…the love of my life!
a picture of my dad a couple of summers ago cutting and eating his favorite food outside on the picnic table… a watermelon
My favorite photo is the one my husband took of our 4 kids for Mother’s Day. They decided to give me a “relaxation” box and in it they put all kinds of things to help me relax. They included the picture in a frame so that I could look at all 4 of them and not worry. The picture was of my 4 teenagers “sleeping” in a bed!
I have photos of my Grandpa holding each of my 3 kids the same way on my legs as babies. I was very close with my Grandparents and my Grandmother didn’t make it to see my last child born, so it means so much to me that all 3 of my kids had, at least, a moment of how special my Grandpa was.
One of my favorite photos is of my son walking down the street on the way to the bus on his first full day of school. You cannot see his face, just the back of him carrying his backpack.
My favorite photo of all time is one that was taken the morning after my daughter was born. My son (who was 2 at the time) arrived at the hospital to meet his baby sister, and the first thing he did was unwrap her blanket and play “this little piggy” with her toes. My husband snapped a close-up photo of it, and it has my hand around my son’s, who is craddling his baby sister toes. SO cute and special for us!
My favorite photograph is of my 3 children taken on vacation after just leaving the Grand Canyon. We’d left on Route 89 and kept seeing this meandering brook beckoning us from the roadside. Finally we could stand it no longer so we stopped, found a place to park and took our shoes off to play in the water. What fun that was! My kids were overjoyed to know their parents, along with their grandmother and aunt, would stop and play with them in the water. This photograph was snapped as they rested on a big boulder in the middle of the stream. The look of sheer contentment and peace on each of their faces just blows me away today 20 years later!
I have a picture of my brother and I in the backyard our our great aunt’s house when we are about 6 years and 4 years old. It is special to me because my brother and I aren’t as close as we used to be, and it reminds me of when we were best friends and playmates!
I have a photo of all my children on the trampoline together. I love it for obvious reasons — because it’s of my children — but also because they’re having fun with each other. They’re enjoying their childhood.
When the picture of our son and my dh building a treehouse together comes up on my screensaver, I just have to stop and say “Ahhh”- it was a magical time and they are so very cute together.
I love a picture that I took myself of my twins at the beach. They were on the steps of the beach house and one was behind the other and they gave each other a big hug and I had it printed in black and white. They are 17 now and slightly bigger! 🙂
My most favourite photo of all time is me and my mum and dad just after my graduation. I was the first person in my family to graduate and it was a very proud moment. Lesley
My fave photo would be my kids happily laughing in a garden at Frasers Hill. They looked so innocent and carefree and they absolutely loved the cool weather!
My favourite photograph is of my maternal grandparents. My grandfather died when my mom was 2 so I never met him (and she barely remembers him). They look so completely in love in the photo and it makes my heart melt whenever I look at it.
My favorite photo of all time?! That is so hard! 🙂 I guess it would be a pic of my grandfather and me at Wurstfest in New Braunfels Tx. He was teaching me to dance: polka style. 🙂
Lauren
I have a picture that I made into a canvas print of my husband and I on the beach in Aruba. We had hired a professional photographer to take pics of us and she captured the love and happiness we felt for each other. I proudly display it in our living room!
A photo of my grandmother and I at my wedding. She was a lady of few words, but she had a huge impact on my life. The photo reminds me how much she loved me and my family.
I’m not sure my post showed up, so I’m posting again. My favorite photo is one of me and my dad that was taken when I was a little girl. He died when I was in the third grade and that picture is how I will always remember him.
It has to be a family picture we had taken in Port Aransas, TX 2 years ago. My oldest son, who was 5 at the time had the most beautiful smile while holding his 3 month old baby brother….precious memories!!
My favorite photo . . . wow, that is hard! Between my kids and grandkids, I don’t think I can pick just one! Plus being a scrapper, you tend to get many GREAT pics!
My favorite photo (posted in my stamp room) is one of my husband on his bike with our two sons, little Paul on his back and Dave on the back of the bike, all smiling. This reminds me of what a wonderful father he was to our sons and a loving husband to me. I miss him. He died on his bike in 2004.
My favorite photograph of all time is one picturing my hubby five years ago. It was taken on a summer day and he is just gazing and looks miles away with his thoughts with a cute smile on his face and not noticing that this photo was taken. Four years ago hubby passed away at the young age of 44 and now every time when my eye catches this photograph it makes me smile and think of the found memories we had together.
A photo of my twins when they turned 1, they are sitting in a wooden wagon. It is a wagon their great grandfather made. The wagon was actually one of his last pieces of wood work he made before he died. It is amazing and we are so lucky to have it. The girls did not want to take the photo or sit still (who am I kidding, they never sit still) so it isn’t the best photo of them but it is still precious.
My favorite photo is of our family the day before my grandchildren moved out of state. My dad had cancer and it was his last photo. Such bittersweet memories but it is very precious to me.
My favorite photo is of my maternal grandparents at a family BBQ from the 90’s. They both had the most perfect, genuine smiles and that photo was perfect. Even while dying at the hands of Alzheimer’s Grampa’s smile never faded…that photo was the last one of he and Nana smiling together though. A precious memory!
My favorite photo of all is one of my Dad holding me as an infant with my three brothers and sister. We lost my brother when I was nine, and my Dad when i was eleven. This is the only picture I have of him with all us kids. I have so few memories, and even fewer pictures, this picture is priceless to me.
It is so hard to pick a favorite when photos hold such special memories in time but one of my favorites is a picture of my husband and I holding our son on the day his parents arrived to meet their only grandchild. Pictures of the three of us are precious as my husband passed away from cancer 5 months ago now….each one is a memory of him that we treasure.
My favorite photo right now is bittersweet. It is my wedding photo. My husband and I are going through a difficult time right now, and I am praying that we will make it through this.
There are lots of photos that are special to me – but- I will say for this question – one of the photos of my husband and I after our wedding ceremony was over and we took more photos outside of the church. It looks like a white, small, quaint country church, and my hubby put his arms around me, and we are hugging on the top of the stairs – my dad took my wedding photos – and its one of my favorites.
I have two favorite photographs. One of each of my kids when they were very young. They were both taken candidly, so they did not know I was taking their pictures. The expressions on their faces are very “thoughtful”, like they’re pondering life’s biggest questions. They’re very intent and unaware of the camera. They are printed in b&w and are framed in my bedroom. I just love them!
My favorite photo is of my parents at prom in 1952 – my dad still had hair – and they looked so happy and YOUNG!
My favorite pic of all time is one of our family posing on my dad’s motorcycle, which was our only mean of transportation back in the days growing up in Indonesia. It shows how our family of 5 (parents, with 7 year, 2 year and 1 year old kids) travel. Yes, it wasn’t safe, but we had to make do with what the family could afford at that time. For me the picture symbolize my parents resilient and it also show our family closeness.
My favorite photo was taken June 14,2008. My youngest on wedding. The pic shows my oldest son,my youngest son and my husband standing in row. They are standing sideways, hand in pocket. Smiling. A year nfd five days later my husband died. The pic holders special place in my heart.
My favorite photo is one of my parents on their honeymoon in 1947… so simple at a cabin up north and they found a bear trap. It’s in black and white and framed in my living room..I miss them a lot. hugs
I honestly can’t pick one favorite. The first pictures of each of my children are priceless. I also have a picture of me and my grandma that I treasure. I can think of a dozen more off the top of my head that are really special to me.
When my mother and father were still newlyweds, she took a picture of him asleep. She said she took the lampshade off of the only lamp they had and placed it so that it lit his face, aimed the “brownie” camera, and took the picture. It was about 2″ X 3″ and has remained the most often reproduced picture of our family. The truly special thing about the picture is my mother’s words when she would look at it: “he’s was just so beautiful!”
My favorite photograph is of my mom and dad standing by their conversion van-dad has his camera around his neck and mom has her polaroid in her hand-but the reason I love this picture is my mom has one leg bent and foot on leg and she is looking up at my dad with such a look of love-it is priceless…
One of my favorite photos is the professional photos I had done when my DD was turning 1. She is a spring baby so I had bought some flower for her to hold. She ended up chewing on them through the whole shoot. I was so frustrated with her that she wasn’t posing nicely. But when I saw the proofs it hit me that that was exactly who she was at that age – putting absolutely everything in her mouth. It’s still one of my faves and a reminder that getting photographs of the REAL person is so much more important than getting a “nice” photograph.
My favorite picture is one of me with my best friend in Key West when we were just out of college with no worries. Just having a great time. It always makes me happy when I look at it.
My favorite photograph is one of my family taken on the beach in Panama City Beach. We were wearing brown tones and it was at sunset. It reminds me of a wonderful family vacation, carefree and no stress! My children are so grown up looking in this picture and it reminds me that they are changing, becoming adults. It’s my screen savor on my phone and my computer.
Black and white picture of my sisters and me from the 60’s. Jumpers and pin curled hair was the thing.
I’ve always told my kids that “you are all my favorites ” so I couldnt pick just one. But shots of my grandma in her 90’s posing with my kids – she has the biggest smile I’ve seen and that is so special.
It is hard to pick just one but have a photo of one of my grannies that I will treasure forever. Though life didn’t always treat her good, she was just one of the nicest, kindest people alive.
Wow…one photo? That is extremely hard because I treasure them all. I guess one of my favorites is a picture of my kids posting with “Wolverine” at Universal Studios. He had them all pose as if they had muscles and swords coming out of their hands. Now that two of my kiddos are graduated from college and moved away from the state, it reminds me of the days when we could take family vacations together. Oh…another one is of my mother and my two brothers who have all passed away now. The photo was taken just before I lost my first brother. I miss them all so much…so that photo is very special. I’m not in it because I was taking the shot…
My favorite photograph is a picture of my father, his sister and his brother when they were young children. They decided to dress up in their “Sunday best” and go to a local photographer’s studio to have a surprise portrait made for their mother, my grandmother. You can tell from the photograph that they obviously dressed themselves because the boys’ ties are crooked and their hair is a bit messy. My aunt definitely took the most care in getting dressed for the photo session and she’s sporting a huge bow atop her head that matches her drop-waist dress, which was very fashionable attire for little girls at that time. I’ve always loved the photo but cherish it even more now, as all of them have passed on.
My favorite photo of all time is a picture that was taken of my brother holding his daughter after our wedding. She is about 3 and was a flower girl. It’s a close up of their faces and she is intently looking at the boutineer he is wearing. I just love having that little peak into the moment the two of them shared.
Gosh, tough question but the winner will be a photo of me with my dad at his wedding to his current wife. It was taken over 20 years ago and was just an impromput snapshot but it just makes me happy looking at it sitting in a small frame on my mantel.
I have a picture of me and my grandma hugging, framed and standing in my bookcase. Sadly she passed, she was the greatest! 🙂
Every photo we have of our three children together is special in our house, because every photo we take now has our son missing.
He was our youngest and he passed away with cancer 7 years ago last week. He would have been 30 this month. We have one lovely smiling photo of him taken by one of his sisters when he was 21 which is precious.Every time I look at the photo I wish he was here. But,really as I said every photo with the three of them is special to me!
I actually have 2. The first would be a picture of my husband and i with our daughter after she was born and we became parents. I may not look so good, but what a special moment! The second is a picture of my hubby looking down at our son when he was born. You can see the emotion in his face and know the pride he was feeling. Two of the very best days of our lives!!
I am a ‘transplant’ 1,000 miles from home and the terrain that surrounds me now is very different from home. I have a worn postcard that I keep copies of both at home and at work that reminds me of the beauty and serenity of the mountains of home. It says a lot about me that I miss the environment more than people, but that’s just me.
Pictures capture such amazing memories. They freeze moments in time to hold forever.
So hard to choose just one…but my fav is one I took of my father sitting at the kitchen table reading his paper and drinking his morning coffee. It was such a perfect image of Daddy . I have it hanging in my kitchen so I can say “good morning” to Dad every day!
One of my nieces was the tiniest little thing. For her first birthday, she got a Kid Sister doll. We have a picture of her squatting inside the box, with the lid closed. Cutest ‘doll’ ever made. And, she didn’t even fill the box up.
My favorite photograph of all time is a photo of my husband and son. They are walking together and my husband is patting our son on the head. It is such a great picture of a father/son relationship.
i have a photo of my youngest, dressed as Indiana Jones, exploring in the backyard, with the most intent look on his face. I photoshopped it to a sepia tone and had it printed on canvas.
I have a wedding photo of my grandparents that is precious to me. My memories of them are as elderly people. When I look at this photo, I can see the hope, the playfulness and exuberance of their youth and I feel very connected to the cycle of life. Just this past week, I created two projects using copies of this photo!
It’s the picture of my grandson looking over my son’s (his dad) shoulder, with his cute hat on at a bit of a rackish angle. My grandson’s eyes peeked out from the brim of the hat, were such a soft brown, with long lashes and the sweetest smile ever. Sigh
The first professional photograph of my two children! It always reminds me of those sweet days of the two of them meeting each other and our family being complete.
A very special and favorite photo is one of my mom and I on my wedding day 15 yrs ago. We are in the bridal suite and she is “arranging” my veil. We are both looking into the mirror and that is how the photographer took the pic-looking into the mirror. My mom had the same photo, in the same bridal suite, with her mom on her own wedding day. So recreating it was my one goal for my mom and I as I was planning my wedding. Now that she is gone, it is a treasure to have both of these photos of amazing women who loved me so much and contributed so much to who I am today.
My favorite photograph is my parents first Christmas together as husband and wife. They were married on Sept. 9, 1951. The are posed in front of their Christmas tree. They look so young and full of happiness and hope. They were blissfully married for 46 years until my father’s death in 1997. I’ve used that photo on Christmas cards given to my uncles and aunts.
I have a great photo of my son and daughter just after my son was born. It still melts my heart when I see that one. Families are priceless.
Eveline.
My parents took a few photos of my sons together when they were very little on a tricycle that is one of my favorite pictures. There are so many of my boys that are just precious to me. I also have a favorite bridal portrait of myself that I gave my husband to put on his desk.
It’s a wonder when the camera captures a person’s joy. My fav is a group picture of my family at Disneyland. Nighttime, in front of a huge orange pumpkin, as only Disney can create, the family looking exhausted but oh, so happy!
My favorite photo of all time is my son with Minnie Mouse from our first family trip to Disney World when he was 3. I have great memories of Disney as a kid and have LOVED that place all my life. I wanted him to love it just as much and he did! In the picture, Minnie is kneeling down and my son has his arms wrapped around her with his cheek pressed against hers. He has the sweetest smile on his face. I have it on my desk at work – it’s so precious.
I have one of my daughter at 4 weeks old where she is laying on my arm and I am bending over to place a kiss on her back. It is black and white and amazing. It is my favorite of all the professional photos I have of my kids
It is a photo taken 5 years ago of my grandson, my husband and me beside our motorhome just before the three of us drove from Chicago to Seattle with side trips in-between. Favorite memory, ever.
My favorite photo has to be one of when my daughter was a baby and had a darling little sailor dress and a cap on, she was sitting on a picnic table on July 4th and was about 8 months old, but it is who she is sitting with that makes it so special, my Dad, I lost him when he was only 58, so it is a wonderful picture of the two of them…I just love it…and now talking about it, I wonder where the picture is, I better go and try and find it..lol…thanks!!
My favorite photograph is of my two sons with their arms wrapped around each other and the goofiest looks and smiles on their faces. The photo is about ten years old now and a great reminder of how good friends they were before the teen years 🙂
It’s hard to narrow it down to one pictue! I treasure all the pictures I have of my family. When we were little, all of our family photo albums were lost to us, so now I am vigilant to capure all our family memories every day! I must say, any photo of our two boys getting along are my faves, lol.
Awesome, awesome, awesome release! I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these new things! I have so many photos to choose from, but right now my favorite is probably of my son and husband on his first Father’s Day. It’s a beautiful picture.
There is a photo hanging over our fireplace of the kids wearing their traditional German clothes, the girls are in dirndls and Anton wearing his dad’s lederhosen. The are in our wagon with the German flag flying off the back. We were at an Oktoberfest for Anton’s birthday. That photo can bring back the whole day just looking at it and it was a top 10 day for sure!!!
I have a picture of my daughter and son that makes my world oh so happy. It was in her 1st birthday. Their faces are closed together and the way that my son is holding her its just priceless. And you can actually see in her face how much love she feels. Awwww so beautiful.
Thanks for the chance to win!!!
My favorite photograph of all time is the one taken with my grandparents. They lived in Scotland and we didn’t get to visit too often, so that picture is a real treasure to me.
My favorite photo is one of my son holding and petting a kitty. He’s a typical boy, so the picture of him giving so much love to this kitty is pretty priceless!
Gosh…. my favourite photo of all time? That’s really hard!
One of my very favourite photos is one of my son, when he was three & my daughter, when she was one. They’d gone into the living room and were sitting together on the end of the couch, with their backs against the arm rest. They looked so sweet and cute, I wanted to take their picture. But when I pulled out my camera, my son started making faces and Sage started laughing– and I got a bunch of photos… but the best one was where they were both laughing and enjoying each other immensely! It’s a photo that represents they’re relationship and how they really delight in each other!
A black and white photo of wee boys in 1950s in Glasgow!
I have a picture of my dad and I. It’s value grew when he passed away in 1995. He has such a loving look and smile on his face, one that I am so grateful was captured on camera.
My husband, a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, deployed to Iraq in 2003, two months after our third child was born. I took frequent photos of our three children (ages 6,3,and newborn)and sent them to the warzone. My favorite photo is also his favorite photo, the one that made it to Iraq and came back safely with him after his deployment.
Oh that one is easy! I have a photo my mother took of me and my growing family. We were walking along the beach – me (very pregnant), my 1.5yo daughter, and my husband – and the sun was shining and the water was beautiful.
My favorite picture of all time has to be one of my daughter and father shortly before he passed on. I’m so glad we all had one last great visit.
My favorite photograph is one I took of my mom at my great niece’s birthday party in February. It was the last picture ever taken of my mom, because she passed away June 1st. I will cherish it forever.
My favorite photo is from when I was 7. We took a huge family photo on my grandparents front porch. The grand kids are all grown now, but we love that photo and are hoping to recreate it with all the new family members at our next reunion.
My favorite photo is a black and white of my mother in her early twenties. It’s home was a shelf in the house where I grew up and I used to love to look at it. In her glory days, my mother looked a lot like Sophia Loren and I remember being mesmerized by how beautiful I thought she was. Unfortunately, my mother passed three years ago but I am happy to say that that picture now resides in a bookcase in my home (and a smaller version in my studio) where I can look at it daily and recall all the happy memories I have of my best friend.
I have a photo of myself, my sister and my dad. My sister and I are very young. It was my birthday and I was given a metal mushroom toy. My dad wanted me to kiss my sister to thank her. I have this expression on my face that is priceless. Who gives a three year old a mushroom. 🙂
My favorite photo has to be my wedding picture of my husband and I. I married the love of my life and my best friend all on the same day. We have been married almost 41 years and I still feel the same way!
My fave picture is one of my wedding pictures. I was smiling for the camera and my husband was looking down at me smiling. And no one told him to LOL. Its just a very sweet pic that shows true love. I also cannot help but love all of the photos taken at the hospital the day my son was born! 🙂 those that are the first moments of getting to see and hold him are priceless.
There are so many photos that come to mind. But if I had to choose, I think it would be the one of me holding my granddaughter for the first time. It’s on my bedside table and is the first thing I see before I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning. It reminds me of all the unconditional love that she brings to all those around her and never fails to put a smile on my face.
My favourite of all time is a close up I took of my baby daughter’s feet. It’s a black and white, and I took it with film, not digital. The shot is as perfect as she is.
This a hard one! I am a photographer but the photos that mean the most to me are always the “emotional” ones rather than the “technically perfect” ones. Right now, the photo that tugs on my heart is one of my father and my daughter as a baby. He is kissing her neck and she is laughing hysterically with her chubby hands on his face. I feel their love every time I look at it!
My favorite photo is of my 2 kids. My daughter was in high school, dressed in her flowing skirt & lace top, arms folded, & a laughing look at her brother that says, “You are so weird!” He was in college, wearing odd baggy pants & some vintage T-shirt, an exuberant smile, & shaggy hair.
I like it b/c it shows their totally different personalities.
Hhhmmmm, this one is hard. I have so many fave photographs. One is a black and white photo my husband took of me holding my newborn daughter. He caught us in a tender moment. Another is a picture of my granny and uncle. She died when I was 3 so I cannot remember her much but she is just so happy and casual in this pic. Another is a picture of me at Mrs. Maquaries chair in Sydney. I cherish that trip. So many memories.
There were 10 children in my family, and I have one picture of all of us in it, including my parents. A few years ago I had copies made and sent it to my brothers and sisters in a Christmas card.
I love an old picture of my parents taken when they were standing almost shoulder deep in the ocean. Its cropped close so all you can see it them and the ocean and they look so happy with their hair matted and messed up from just playing in the ocean. Their arms are arouns each other. They have had lot of problems over the years and this photo captures all that is good and the love they have.
My favorite photograph is of my granddaughter who has cerebral palsy standing in her walker with her leg braces on. She was probably about 4 in this picture. The fact that she is standing upright and has a beautiful smile on her face reaches right into my heart! Anytime people saw this tiny thing walk in her little walker they would stop and watch in awe as she shouted with a huge smile on her face, “Look out, here I come!” Everything she does takes more effort and more time but she is always so determined and strong.
I was suffering from post partum depression with the birth of my daughter. I took a picture of her sleeping with her hands folded in the sweetest pose. It was as if she was praying for Mommy to get through this difficult time.
My favorite photograph is one of my husband and I on our honeymoon. We went horseback riding on the beach then rode our horses in the water. It was such an awesome experience and there were pictures to buy after that were taken there.
My favorite is a series of photos. My husband and I would take photo booth pictures with our two boys since they were very little. Each summer the four of us would get in the booth and take them. Of course this was only possible until we couldn’t fit in there any longer. All four obfuscate love those pictures.
My fav photo was taken by my SIL. It’s subject is my daughter and 9-month old granddaughter. The background is a brilliant blue sky and the two of them are smiling at one another with such joy and love. Two gorgeous redheads…brings tears of happiness to my eyes.
Connie C.
My favorite photo is the new born picture of my twin boys. Not the best photo but it represents the beginning of so much.
I have two. One is of my daughter at 3.5 months old. She was watching me eat a Cadbury chocolate bar. When I was finished I gave her the wrapper to play with. She kept putting the wrapper to her mouth trying to see what the big deal was! Absolutely adorable photo. The other is of my son at 4 years old. The photographer really clicked with my son and could really make him laugh. The picture captures my son head held back rocking backwards with laughter. You can just see the sparkle in his eyes. I smile when I see the photo because he is dressed like a little professor and the laughter is almost audible just by looking at the photo.
I have a beautiful photo my my Darling daughter standing in the middle of the yard with her arms wrap around her dog and she is laying her heard on Frankies(the dog)back. and Frankie stoond as still has she could taking in all the love. I so miss my Frankie Rue we had to put her down this year. I have other photos of Abby (our Darling Daughter) still in diapers with Frankie sitting on the bed and Abby is hugging Frankie with all her might.
My favorite photo is the one of my parents when they first became engaged. They are sitting in front of a Christmas tree with tinsel. It look magical to me.
My wonderful Dad died of cancer 3 years ago yesterday. He was such a amazing father full of life and laughter. Our family years ago, the year “Titanic” the movie was released, went on a dinner cruise around NYC. There is a photo of Dad and I joking and posing at the front of the ship like the characters in the movie. I smile every time I think of that photo and that day!
That’s a touch one. It has to be either our wedding photo, or the first photos of our 2 boys. I think I will go with the baby photos ( and I can’t decide which one is better). There’s something about that first look, when they come to the world. All wrinkled and pink, on my chest. Nothing fancy, but extra special in every way. My oldest’s picture was taken with a regular camera, so it’s not even that clear, but it will be cherished as one of the bests.
I have a photo of my son playing outside. He has such a serious face but he was having so much fun at the time.
My favorite is the last picture I did of my grandmother before she dies. It was a sunny day, there were lots of flowers outside his home and most importantly, it was a good day and she smiles!
My Mom passed away a year ago and I have a picture of her when she graduated from nurses training (1948) on my dresser with a little angel figurine a friend gave me.
I have a photograph of my father as a teenager in the 1930’s, posing on his new bicycle….beeming with pride. Love that photo! He later became a passionate photography fan, and your new camera stamp reminds me of him very much.
My Favortie Photo is one of my grandfather and I carving pupkins. He just looked like he was having the time of his life with me! Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration you provide us all with!
I have a black and white photo my mother took of me when I was one or two years old. I’m laying on my blankie in fetal position. What I love about it is how she captured the light coming in the room. The light and shadows are fantastic.
I have an 8 x 10 color (tinted in pink, cream, aqua and brown) photo of my parents, my brother and me. My brother and I were about 3 and 2 years old respectively. So innocent! A wonderful vintage family picture.
I should say the picture of my DD when she was born, she was so alert and looked right at the camera! BUT the one I TRULY adore is her first birthday, covered in chocolate cake beaming the biggest smile ever!! It’s my screen saver and though I have seen it a GAZILLION times…I NEVER tire of it. Her joy gives me joy!
My favorite is a picture of my daughter on my husband’s shoulder in the corn maze. They are walking away from me, and the light has caught their hair and shines in the corn. It makes me happy to remember that moment whenever I see it.
My favorite photo is of the day I had my braces taken off. I had a huge smile on my face, and the whole thing just oozes out HAPPY! 😉 Thanks for a fun week of releases, as always. Can’t wait to get some new supplies and starting creating.
I’d have to say my favorite photo is our wedding picture. We are not camera lovers, so we are not in many pictures.
My favorite photo would have to be one of my wedding photos. We had it enlarged on canvas and framed and is on the wall leading into our bedroom. I love that photo so much and it was a moment of pure happiness and it makes me smile each and every time I look at it.
My fave is a pic of my son at my wedding when he was 7. All his shots were “stiff” (posed, forced smile, etc…), but the photog was able to get one impromptu shot of him looking slightly away and down from the camera. He had a shy smile on his face and it captured his quiet spirit on such a hectic day.
I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite photo. I have so many that are special to me for different reasons! Though my favorites are all candids, I feel like that is the type of photo that truely captures a moment.
It is our last family photo. My oldest daughter is going off to college and our family is never going to be the same.
One of my favorite photos is one I can no longer find..ARGH! It was a picture of my oldest daughter sitting in my lap after a particularly hard softball game when she was about 9 years old. That picture has become the holy grail in my mind because it cannot be found….
I come from a large family of 10 and one night someone took a picture of all of us before bed. We are lined up oldest to youngest, barefooted, in jammies, and all smiles. It is like a stair step looking at our heads.
It is a picture of my grandson, sitting in his high chair on his first birthday reaching for the cake with all the concentration and determination only a one-year old blonde-haired,blue-eyed ball of wonder can muster. Melts my heart every time I look at it and remember that day.
My favorite photo was taken at my parents’ 25th Anniversary party. It includes the five of us (my parents, my two brothers, & myself). It is my favorite as it is the last family photo before my father passed away.
My favorite photo is of my husband holding our 1 year old son’s hand while walking in the field. I love it because it is so simplistic yet powerful in message of the love and nurturing between a father and a son.
My favorite picture of all time is one from my wedding day. After the father-daughter dance my father and I stepped off the dance floor for my husband and mother-in-law to do their dance. As we stood there my Dad leaned down and gave me a kiss on the check and the photographer was able to capture it. This picture captured so much emotion and the relationship my Dad and I have always had.
I have a photo of my husband after we both finished a hard year in school. He is in the middle of catching a football, grinning from ear to ear and having a blast. I have it by my desk to remind me what is really important amidst the stresses at work.
It would have to be a photograph I took of my grandson, Kendell when he was about 15 months old, and his Great Grandmother, (my mother in law) who was suffering from Alzheimer’s and living with us in her last days. He had just learned how to pucker to give a kiss and on that day, he’d decided that Grandma needed a kiss. Her poor body had been ravaged as well as her faculties but she loved to hold and interact with the grandchildren and I snapped the most delightful photo of her and Kendell in profile as they were simultaneously puckered to give each other a kiss. I shall always treasure it!
My favorite picture is one from my wedding in Maui on the beach. The background of big blue sky and beautiful water reminds me of how much we love that place and what a trip we had. My family and friends all look so happy. It’s a picture of the most important people in my life.
This is a tough question! I have too many favorites. But I guess I would have to say, the framed photo on my desk at work. My husband and me, in an old church directory photo, and somehow it captured both of us really well. It just makes me smile.
My favorite photo is a shot from the back of my husband and 5 year old grandson holding hands as they walk to the top of an incline on a golf course in Colorado. Something about the light at that moment just emits a quiet tenderness in the shot.
My favorite photo is one of my two girls when they were little. They are sitting on our front porch near our flowers, wearing big, floppy hats to keep out the sun. Both their personalities shine as they were trying to be patient with Dad’s photo shoot. Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite photograph is one of my husband, daughter and I taken in our first trip to Vancouver. There were flowers everywhere , such a beautiful scenery.
Hard to pick just one photograph… I love all the photos of my grandson, logan! I guess I’d have to say the picture of my mom & dad when they were on a date. They are walking hand in hand and look like movie stars – young & in love…so much ahead of them.
It is a snapshot of my brother at age 5, sister age 4, and me and my twin sister at age 3. My mother said we had just come from a garage sale. We were all wearing wearing various hats from the sale and happy smiles. I had only one shoe on. It reminds me that together is a great place to be.
One of my favorite photos is a snapshot of me, my kids, my dad, and my grandmother sitting on the front porch steps. Four generations all together!
One thanksgiving we took a trip to Oregon instead of staying home for the big meal. We can through San Francisco on the way home. There is a picture that someone so graciously offered to take of us all with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Priceless.
I am the world’s worst photographer, but every now & then I seem to get a GREAT shot by total accident. One of those is definitely one of my favorites. It captured my Dad, in his late 60’s, dirty after a hard day of farming, with his frayed and worn John Deere cap, holding a tiny orange fluff-ball kitten, with the beautiful wide open prairie in the background. There’s such a tender look on his weather-worn face & the kitten is so small in his big rough hands. And it just so totally captured him in that moment.
My favorite photo is of my Father-in-law and my Son when he was a tiny baby. It was a precious picture at the time and now it has very special meaning since my Father-in-Law has passed.
My favorite photo is of my husband and I on our wedding day. It was taken from behind us & shows us looking at each other. I have it in a frame with the song lyrics we danced to. A daily reminder of our commitment to each other 16 years ago as it sits on our nightstand.
I made a scrapbook frame of my children and their families that I have in my kitchen. It makes me so happy to look at it every day.
I have one of my husband and I on our wedding day that really sums us up well, and despite my many poorly neglected photos, this one is framed and on the way.
My favorite photograph of all time is one taken of my two sons and I when we were just home from our first vacation trip to Yellowstone National Park. We were wearing matching tee-shirts and they boys are so tan and smiling…my hair is one of the better colors I have had throughout the years and it was such a wonderful trip. I display it to this day…25 years later.
My favorite photograph is my mom and dad’s wedding photo, given to me by my grandmother. My mom and dad eloped so it was the only photo taken that special day. It is amazing to see them at that special moment of their life.
My favorite photo is one that was unplanned and so natural. My kids and I were leaving church one beautiful fall morning, and we happened to be parked by the little playground where the preschoolers play. I let my kids run around a bit – I believe my son was 6 or 7, and my daughter 3-4, so they could fit inside the small plastic houses and on the slides. They were actually asking me to take photos! So of course I had my point-and-shoot and happily obliged!
I took our Christmas card pic that morning – gorgeous morning light, beautiful, happy smiles from my kids. Total serendipity! 🙂
Sans all of my 4 precious children and daughter-in-law, the one most cherished is a picture just taken a couple of weeks ago for my 49th birthday. It was of me and my dad and it was the first birthday of mine that I’ve been able to spend with him in 20 years since I lived away from home (California). I was born on Father’s Day so we celebrated together.
My favorite photo is of my grandfather on horseback. He was doing his military service in the Swedish cavalry and he looked so stylish! I used to sneak up to my grandparents bedroom just to look at it. I so wanted that cool photo! Many many years later it was given to me. I was the only one wanting it when my grandmother died. It’s such a special photo!
My favorite picture is one of my sons and husband together hamming in up. They were much younger so it brings with it such wonderful memories.
My favourite photo is of my kids which they gave me for Mothers’ Day a few years ago. The bought a photo frame and obviously had a lot of fun clowning around taking photos to fill it. The perfect gift!
My favourite old photo was taken of my Dad helping young Prince William and Prince Harry up into the royal helicopter that he flew with Princess Diana standing by their side looking so happy – a real one off private shot but one that now has sad memories.
My sons surprised me when they were in high school by getting their photo together in coordinating outfits.
I love it because they planned it all themselves.
Oh, my! That is like trying to pick a favorite child… At the moment one of my favorites is a 1950 black and white picture of my mother on her honeymoon. She is sitting on the railing of a balcony looking out onto the lake and my dad took the picture. It looks like something out of a magazine. Just beautiful.
My favorite photograph is one that I took of my son walking on the beach. He was walking in the sand at sunset, and the picture is of the back of him, with a perfect reflection in the wet sand. It’s not just a pretty picture, but it also reminds me of a very fun trip that the two of us took by ourselves.
Wow! That is a tough question! I love photos and have them all over my house in frames on the walls and tables and counters. I think my current favorite photo right now is one of me, my husband, 5 year old son, and 1 year old daughter. We all made a silly face and our daughter is looking at us like “what? these are the people I am stuck with? They are crazy.” Her expression looking at us is just priceless.
I would have to say my favorite photo is a generation picture. It includes my Grandmother, mother, myself and my granddaughter. My grandmother and mother have passed away, and my granddaughter is now 16. It makes me realize how very quickly life passes by and how important those special people in your life are.
My current favorite was a photo I took 2 years ago of my 2 boys. My oldest (3) was explaining something to my youngest(1 1/2) with his arm wrapped around him. It is such a sweet photo of them and captures them beginning their real interest in each other. Before that it was all dislike, disdain, and distance from my older one.
My favorite photo is from our daughters Master’s graduation, with our family and my mom. Mom was still in good health and it was a very happy beautiful day!
My favorite photo is of my mother and myself. It was taken many years ago and we were simply being silly. I love it as it represents the fun times that we had together, as well as the special connection that we shared. My Mom is no longer with us but I can look at this one picture and the past comes back with such freshness.
My favourite photo is of my little dog, Quincy, looking lovingly at me. Sitters lost my little guy when I was away on holiday. Thank you for the chance to win!
My favorite pictures are a series of photos of our Christmas family photo shooting.
My son was three and all of us trying to make serious faces and funny faces.
It was such a fun and wonderful moment we shared and I will never forget it.
So hard to pick just one… but it would definitely have to be a picture of my husband and my oldest son, in the hospital shortly after he was born. Seeing my husband gazing with such love, devotion and awe at this new little baby that we had brought into the world is a memory that I will cherish forever!
I have a photo of my mom, me and my daughter that I love.
It was the first and only picture that I have of all three generations together. My daughter was about 3 months old.
My mom has been gone for a long time but even talking about that picture makes me tear up.
My all-time favorite is of my 2 daughters holding wooden letters their father cut out that spell L0VE. It’s such a fun picture but it’s more how they are looking at each other—like they really do like each other!!
My two boys, they are 5 and 3, they have bandanas around their heads, holes in the knees of their jeans, dirt on their shirst, and their arms around each other. The older one is smiling at me, and the other is looking at his brother and laughing out load! They are 27 and 25 now, yet this photo captures their personalities to this very day. It warms my heart and brings a tear to my eye every time I look at it.
My favorite photo is a family shot of my parents, my brother and me taken on Christmas Day. It’s a sweet memory of when we were young and innocent and life was so much simpler (not easier, just simpler). My parents are both gone now but that picture is a lovely memory.
My favorite photo is one of my kids shortly after the birth of my son.. . all three are cuddled up like they are sleeping, looking so adorable!
Chris L.
My favorite photograph is one I took at a State Fair. It’s of my feet while on one of the sky chairs. I ended up entering that photo into the State Fair juried show and won an award of excellence.
My favorite picture is of my nephew on his first Easter. He was 10 months old, just starting to walk, had major bed head and a black eye (from the day before ) and he found his first two eggs at the same time and was so excited….the look on his face, plus the hair and the black eye and being unsteady on his feet is just the funniest combination. There are sentimental photos that I cherish, but my nephew on Easter always makes me laugh out loud when I see it, so I think it’s my favorite 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my parents when the were newlyweds. Dad was in the Air Force and they were stationed in Panama. Mom was pregnant with my brother. They are so young! Life was before them and they were going to take the world by storm! It is typical of the early 50’s. Such a lovely picture! It is the only picture I have of them from that time of their lives.
In my first year of teaching, at the end of the year, we had a class picnic. My mom, grandmother, and I helped coordinate the entire thing. I have a photo of my Nana, Mom and me standing in the park and it’s special because growing up, those two ladies were a huge influence on my life. 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my son taking his first steps. He had just let go from holding on to a chair and was trying to ‘come to momma’. The happy and astonished look on his face makes me smile everytime I look at the picture.
I have a very old photo of my mom & dad when they were dating. It always amazes me how young they were and I wonder what they were thinking and what they were like at that age.
I have a photo of my husband and son eating ice cream. The photo is too cute because my hubby was showing my son the proper way to mix cookie and ice cream. My son was only 2, but he was really paying attention to this lesson.
This past Christmas my sister captured a wonderful snap shoot of all our little kids on the floor opening gifts and sharing…It is so rare for the kids to hang out with all their cousins and to me it showed that even though we are all spread across the east coast during the year- even as little as they are they understand the bond of family and special moments. I just hope in the future we get more of these moments.
I have no clue what’s happening ..but my comments are just disappearing after I click post!
It’s hard to pick just one favorite. My favorites right now are of my niece. She is almost a year old and changing every day! We don’t live close enough to see her in person often. So I eagerly wait for new photos to see how she has grown and her cute little expressive face!
My favorite pic is of my grandma doing what she loved to do most- cooking- and that too in my home making my favorite dish!..so that is the one I have framed after she passed on last year.
This is a tough question. I was having to choose between at least four photos that I cherish. I’ll go with the first one that came to mind…I have a photo of my daughter when she was about 9 months old looking over my husband’s shoulder as he’s holding her. In this photo, she is smiling a big smile and due to the lighting you can see how blue her eyes are. This photo is special because she’s so content in her Daddy’s arms and many photos that we took do not show how deep blue her eyes were.
My favorite is one of my mom’s mother (my grandma). It’s special because I can see my features in her face, but also because she died two months after I was born. When I look at her photo, I know I would have loved her.
I’m about 5, seated in my dad’s lap as we plunge down a water slide. The film is over-exposed and has a weird pink hue. Just a reminder that my parents used expired film because they couldn’t afford better…But they took the kids on a mini vacation to a motel just so we could enjoy a pool with a water slide. That’s sacrifice! That’s love.
A photo of me and my son on top of Mt Baldy in Sun Valley Idaho. The wind was blowing and the sun was shining and well……I just love it!
It’s really not possible for me to pick just one favorite photograph, so I will describe a favorite that I see each day. It’s a picture of my family with my mother’s parents on their carport in New Orleans. I love it because my grandparents are gone now, and sadly, so is the home photo. Not only does it remind me of my family, it reminds me of the fun we had in that town before our families homes were destroyed by Katrina.
My grandfather had a stroke before I was born which left him unable to talk and he required a cane to walk. He rarely left the house. My favorite is a black and white photo of me as a chubby little girl of about 2 or 3 yrs old standing next to him on my great grandparents farm. He has his arm around me and a big smile on his face. I don’t remember the incident but love the photo.
my favorite photo is of my 3 children & my niece at my daughter’s wedding. the wedding was outdoors and the photo was taken in the gazebo. now, any photo of my grandson is precious to me. thanks.
What a difficult question. I tend to take photos so I have many to chose from. I don’t generally look good in pictures, so one of my favourites is a photo a friend took of me, wearing a medieval style dress I made. It’s a semi posed shot, but the wind picked up at just the right moment and provided added movement in the dress.
My favorite photo is of my dad and I just as we stepped out to make the march down the aisle at my wedding–it captures so much love.
So hard to choose just one! A couple years ago, after a lovely Mothers Day brunch, my husband and I took our 4 children out in our community to take some pictures. I have one of all of them up in a large tree. They look so happy and carefree in the sunshine. It’s a special photo!
Hard question because I have so many favorites but one of the very best is my cat Frank stretched out next to my daughter (who was a newborn). He is bigger than she was and he is just looking at her with this comic expression on his face. He was the best cat (he passed away) and that picture is exactly how I remember him.
I have quite a few photos that I took from my brother’s wedding day. It’s just a lovely collection that really captures all the emotions of love and excitement that day.
I have so many that i love, but just got a picture of me and a great group of good friends, they gave the photo to me as a going away present.
There are so many to pick from, but one of my favorites is that of my husband and son (when he was about 2 – he’s now 16). They don’t take many pics together nowadays (my son is not a fan of having his picture taken-like me) but once in a while I they do and I treasure it!
I have a photo of my dad when he was 3 or 4, with cute little overalls on and and blond hair and big blue eyes. There is a different photo of my oldest son at about 2, also in overalls, with big blue eyes and blonde hair – I love looking at those photos together! My dad passed away 12 years ago and I wouldn’t say my son really looks like him now, but I love that for one moment, captured in photos, they looked so much alike…
My favourite picture is of my two children aged 3 and 5 years. We had been to a school fair and they had their faces painted. The thing I like most about it is the way they are looking at each other with such innocent affection. Got to melt your heart!
It is of my mother on her wedding day, she was beautiful.
There are so many favorites. Any with my children certainly are favorites. One from my childhood makes me laugh every time I see it. I’m 3 yrs. old and scowling. My mother made me leave my grandmother’s house to go get my picture taken by a photographer. I didn’t want to go! I told her if she made me leave I wouldn’t smile. I kept my promise. When they first got the pictures my Mom was mad but, later it became one of her favorites too!
I have a photo of my kiddos framed and hanging above our fireplace it was taken about 9 years ago, it is the 2 of them with their backs towards me walking towards the ocean.. I LOVE it because they are the BEST thing I have ever done, they are in my FAVORITE place, and I just think that back photos stop time .. and it was a perfect moment I get to relieve each time I see it!!
One of my favorite photos is of my cousin’s little boy, dragging his crocheted blanket along behind him on a pier on a beach. It’s kind of one of those “could be the stock photo in a picture frame” shots! Very cute.
My favorite picture is of my mom singing with a big band. She is just so beautiful and it brings back memories of her singing around the house when I was growing up. Her and dad would also put on the big band records (yes, records .. like Glenn Miller!) and dance sometimes. I loved watching that too. Maybe that is why I enjoy that music so much. Mom is now 85 and if the moment is right I can hear her humming a song .. 🙂
I am always the one behind the camera, so my favorite picture riight now is one of my family that actually includes me! Everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. A small miracle!
Right now it is definately our first ultrasound picture of the little one we have on the way. We had been trying for so long without success. There are no words to describe how we felt when we saw him moving around that day & heard his little heartbeat.
ooohhhh this is so hard because I have so many favorite photographs or different things in my life… but the one that jumped out at me first is a picture that I have a copy on my fridge… it is of me and my Grandmother when I was only about 2 or 3 years old just about to kiss and I absolutely love it! It is in black and white and that story tells so much of my Grandma whom I miss every day still. Thanks so much for letting me share!
A picture of my daughter when she was 4-5 and she was no longer wearting todler clothes. It was a close up of her face. It was a growing transition that I captured in that photograph.
My favorite photograph is a picture of my husband’s family with 5 generations in it. It has my husband’s sister with her son and his sister’s mom, grandmom & great grandmother. It appeared in the Philadelphia Bulletin as a family interest story in 1950.
My favorite picture is of my son when he is about seven. I had made a HUGE mistake by perming his hair and he hated it. As the perm grew out I let him grow his hair out a bit too. One day he was playing Indiana Jones, with a headband around his head and my Dad captured this. The looks on his face was priceless!
My favorite photo is of my daughter when she was 2ys. old. and riding a wooden horse that her grandfather had made her.
My favorite photograph is one of my daughter when she was in 1st grade. We were sitting in the pickup waiting for the bus and I snapped the shot of her. It was an awesome photo and it was the photo that taught me that really good photos, alot of times, are unposed.
My favorite photo is one of my daugter – her first official kindergarten-photo – she smiles for the camara like she never did anything else – to cute.
My favorite photo is one of my grandparents wedding, they were so young when they got married and both look very shy and adorable.
Hmmm, there are so many that come to mind. The one that brings me the most comfort is one of my mom and dad sitting in my sister’s house together with the sun shining in behind them. It was shortly before my father passed away and now my mother has also passed. Their faces were peaceful and I think of the photo often. There are so many that also come to mind of my children too.
My favorite photo was of me when I was 7 years old at Christmas. I started piano lessons that year, and I had asked Santa for a piano for Christmas. My parents couldn’t afford a piano so they bought me a 15 key table top piano. I was so happy when I opened the box and saw the organ – I began to cry and “snap” went the photo! 🙂
I have a photo of me and my late son when he was approx. 9 mos old. I am sitting indian-style on his bedroom floor holding him up in the air, giving him a kiss. It’s a side profile of both of us and you can see his dark, curly hair and the dimple in his cheek from him smiling as I was lifting him up! It is framed and sits on my night stand so he is the first thing I see in the morning and the last one I see at night!
My favorite photo of all time is one of me, my father and my daughter (at 3 months old) taken at my nephew’s wedding in 2003. He was sick with cancer and it was the last picture I was able to take with him and the last time I saw him. He died two weeks later. I cherish the picture and the memory.
My favorite photo is a snapshot of my son (when he was little) curled up with his Dad on the sofa. Totally oblivious to anything else going on, they were carrying on the biggest conversation. Many years and many photos later, this one remains my favorite because it so perfectly captures the relationship between these two most special men in my life.
I have my mother’s graduation from high school 8×10 photo… she was born in 1914 and died when she was 58… really young IMO. I was only 17 yrs old when she died… 7th of 8 children… so this photo is out in my living room and I love it because I didn’t get to know her for very many years! So at least the photo reminds me that I did have a mother! Thanks for the chance to win and what an awesome question even though it brings tears to my eyes! = )
My grandmother has a photo of my grandfather and I when I was about a year old. She was an antique dealer and had purchased an antique iron tub but realized once it got home that it wouldn’t work in her house. They put the tub under a big oak tree in her back yard and turned it in to a pool for me (and later my brother). Growing up I remember thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread. The photo is of my grandfather sitting next to that tub and me standing in it in my swimsuit and I’m telling him something or showing him something and he has a look on his face like whatever I am saying is the most important thing he’s ever heard. That picture sums up what kind of grandfather he was – he always gave me his full attention and treated me like I was the most important thing in the room.
I think that would have to be one taken of my two daughters when they were 7 & 9 in a studio run by a friend of mine. My eldest looks protective of her younger sister and it’s a beautiful black and white print which has hung on our lounge wall ever since.
My favorite photo is of my nephew this past new years. He was only a couple weeks old in the picture and he’s got the biggest smile going on, it’s just so sweet! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my husband holding my daughter on his shoulders. The happy interaction between the two is priceless!
My son at 2-ish… in a red stripe jumper, reaching for both sides of a playground wooden walk across … blond curls, a half smile and a look of intensity. I have it poster size … on my office wall. He is currently 22 years old.
It reminds me so much of who he is … and who he always was … and who he will be.
One of my favorites is when my oldest son (who had just turned 2) was meeting his brand new brother for the first time. He is leaning over with eyes wide open and giving little brother a kiss on the cheek. So precious… makes me swoon just thinking about it.
my favorite photo is one of my boys when they were both small. i took a picture of them on my bed in the evening, all freshly bathed and in their pajamas. My oldest, who was 3 at the time, is hugging my 6month old son and they are both all smiles.
the reason why i like this photo so much is because my boys (who are now 12 and 10) still have a good relationship. They still will cuddle next to each other during movie night at home or hug each other randomly. They do squabble like all sibblings would but they always make up with each other. i just love their special bond.
One of our wedding pictures – it’s even more special to me 32 years later and because of all of life’s “storms” we’ve weathered together – my husband is everything to me!
I’ve got a photograph of me [at about age 2] sitting on my grandpa’s lap, facing him about to lean in for a kiss. Just by looking at that photo, I can clearly remember how scruffy his mustache was, the way the pipe he smoked smelled and the way his generosity and love were never ending. It always brings a smile to my face and happy memories to mind!
Thanks for an awesome week…I can’t wait to fill my cart!
I have a family portrait of my parents, my sister, my brother and myself when I was about 2 years old (pigtails and fufu dress and all). I think this photo means more to me than any other.
Oh, this is a tough one! Can I tell my favorite 100? Okay, this year it would be the picture of my son at his first wrestling tournament holding up a pin ~ representing his first pin ever. The previous match he was totally mismatched with a kid who was ranked nationally. (They are supposed to match kids up by age, weight and experience.) He was beaten quite badly, and wanted to leave the tournament. After much coaxing he did come back and wrestle again, and had his first pin ever!
One of my favorite photos is of my daughter, Emma. She is sitting on the beach at my friend’s mother’s house on an old patchwork quilt. She looks beautiful and timeless. That was such a fun day and you can see it in her precious smile. It is hard to choose out of all of the pictures of that sweet little girl, but this one is by far one of my favorites!!
My favorite photo is one of my husband in his Army uniform taken before he left for Vietnam. We had been recently married and he was so young and handsome!
Tough question, I have so many faves of all my kids…but I also love all the old photos of my great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and any relatives from when they were younger, fun to see how family “traits” follow you through so many years!
My favorite photograph that I have taken is the one I took of my mom and dad together at my brother’s wedding, a month before my dad was killed in a car accident.
I have a picture of my oldest as a baby and my husband laying on their stomachs looking at a baby mirror. I caught their faces in the reflection of the mirror. I adore this photograph. The were both grinning ear to ear! It just melts my heart.
I don’t have just one. My favorite photographs are all of my family pics because they evoke such sweet memories of our journey together.
We have a picture of my entire family at my late grandmothers 80th birthday. Everyone on my side of the family except my baby boy (who was not born, yet) is there. Many of those people are now gone, but still in our memories!
Water, water, water–ocean, lake, or river–they all work for me and take any stress away.
It’s very hard to pick out one favorite photograph out of the thousands we all possess. If I had to pick just one, it would be a photo of my grandfather with my brothers and I at Disney World. We used to visit my grandparents every year when they lived in Florida and my grandfather couldn’t wait to take us around the park and have a blast! :o)
I was told all my life that being pregnant would never be possible!! So after five months of being married, I started feeling sick?? I went to my specialist and he came in ALL EXCITED my husband was confused as was I he was HAPPY when I felt bad and didn’t know why?? He told us we were pregnant and that it would be a LONG road!! Well everything went well and I just KNEW I needed to have pregnancy photos taken!! I was 8 months pregnant and we took our first baby our pomeranian Zoe with us!! When Beckett would kick inutero Zoe would bark and then lick my belly and as LUCK would have it we were able to get it on film while we were taking our photos that day!! =)
To this day even Beckett (now 5) LOVES the photos and they remind him that ZOE LOVED him even before she met him!!
My favorite photograph is of my 10th birthday party. My birthday is nov5 so it was a Halloween theme. All of the costumes where so fun and creative back in the day!! I am 44 now so it was back in THE DAY! A Lao my grandma had made me a really cute birthday cake! Love and miss her!
My mom has been gone now for 5 years and my favorite picture is with her and my two grandchildren when they were 3 and 1. she used a ‘walker’ and she was sitting in a chair with the walker next to her and the two littles were using her walker as a tool to turn somersaults! the youngest little great-grandchild has her arm around my mom’s neck, giving her the biggest hug…and you can see in my mom’s face how happy that makes her. I miss her to this day.
there is a great photo of my Mom, from my sister’s wedding reception. She was usually taking the pictures so don’t remember many with her from younger days. Miss her still.
My sons baby picture. So precious and lovely!
My favorite picture is a candid shot of our second child being before. We went through so much to have her so my expression as well as the dr’s is just priceless. Of course, I accidentally put on the wrong lipstick on the way to the hospital so my lips are awful! I love looking at pictures so much.
My favourite photograph is of my parents on their honeymoon in the late summer of 1946, after my father was demobilised from the Navy and my mother from the WRNS. My mum is in a pretty cotton sundress and my Dad is in shorts and they look so happy with each other and with where their lives had brought them so far and all their hopes for the future and their love for and pride in each other shines out of them.In all the ups and downs of life in their forty years together, they never lost that. So it’s a VERY special picture!
My favorite photograph is of my grandparents when they were first engaged. She is wearing a sailor dress and he has on a shirt and tie. They are sitting on a wall and seem so playful and in love! They lived a happy life and always seemed so in love. Their faith and family were a testament to their happiness.
We have a photo of my son when he was just a few months old that is beyond precious to me. My grandpa was holding him and was making silly faces at him. The pic is my grandpa’s old, gnarled, hard-working hands gently cradling my infant’s tiny head and my son is laughing at his silly great-grandpa. Grandpa died a year later and my oldest is the only one of my kids to meet him.
My favorite photograph is one hubby and I took the day before our wedding. Everytime I look at it I remember how young we were and how excited we were to start our life together. It’s been a great life 🙂
Mine favorite picture is of my two sisters and I. Who would have known they both would pass away so young. This picture is on display in my craft room, they both would have loved it in there!
How hard to pick an absolute favorite! I think it would have to be a tie between one I took of my son when he was 2 1/2 months old. He fell asleep in my hubby’s lap holding onto his finger. It’s adorable! The other would be from this past year when we took old time photos in Branson, MO. They’re sitting at the table playing cards and my little guy (then 3 1/2 yrs old) is pushing up the brim of his hat with a pistol and staring his dad down. So stinkin’ cute my two guys are!
It is so hard to pick my favorite photograph. there are so many. Pressed to do so would be the one of my mom & dad holding my children when they were 2 & 4. everyone is smiling. This photo means somuch to me since both my parents have passed.
There’s a picture of me and my mom, back when I was in high school. I can’t remember exactly what we were doing, but it looks like we were singing to each other. Makes me smile every time…
My favorite photo is picture of my family. My parents and one of my sister have passed away, so it is a beautiful moment that brings back memories of special family time.
It makes me happy to see us all together.

I LOVE photos, and I have so many that are dear. One I love is of my 3 grandsons aged 4, 5, and 7. I was trying to get one nice photo of them, so I told them if they would pose and smile nicely for me – I would take a picture of them doing anything they wanted. I got the nice photo, but I absolutely loved the silly one of them all laying all over each other making funny faces.
My favorite picture is one of my cousin who passed away when he was 35yrs old – it is on my dresser mirror and I see it every morning – he was such a wonderful person
and is missed more than words can say……………
As a shutterbug I can say I have a lot of wonderful photos that I will always remember. For example, I have one of my youngest son looking up at me as we walk in the park, or the one of my oldest (now 10), on the first day of kindergarten, our first dance during our wedding, standing by the Eiffel Tower on our 12th year wedding anniversary. Each photograph makes me remember all the wonderful days gone by and the love that we share.
I have a picture of three little girls from the 1920s. They all have big bows on their dresses and in their hair. It is a picture of my grandma with her two sisters. She has passed on now so the picture is very special to me. She played a great role in my life when I was a little girl.
I think my favorite photograph of all time is a picture of my husband holding our children at birth. In paticular, one of our second child. At the time he was ill with diverticulitis and was about half his size and he was caught off guard with welling up ith tears in his eye. Totally depicted his submissiveness and the beauty this world has to offer….a new life!!
I have a photography hobby business so I have
quite a few pics to pick from. Some of the most
popular photos I’ve sold include one of a magnolia
bloom, a standing cow statue I found in Colorado
Springs, & various floral pics. One of my favorites
is one that I don’t sell… it is a picture of my two nieces
when they were teens. We had just celebrated
my parent’s 50th Anniversary & the girls were tired.
They were resting their heads on each other’s
shoulder. So sweet. Always makes me smile.
My favourite picture is the one where my twin boys (about 14 month old at the time) sit on the floor, one is in a box (got there on his own), and another is next to him, outside of the box. Their faces are so serious as if they were on some kind of a mission lol The composition of their age, posture and facial expressions makes me giggle every time I see that picture 🙂 Love it, love it, love it 🙂
I saw a photo of my parents and siblings taken in the forests of Germany before we immigrated to the US. What made it special was that I didn’t see it until I was an adult. All our other pre US pictures I had seen and poured over again and again as a child, so discovering one later in life was like magic.
One of my favorite pictures is of a black and white of my Grandparents before they were married. It was taken in 1936, my Grandpa is in his baseball uniform with my Grandma (who was 18 at the time) in front of a car from that era. My Grandpa’s sister and her soon to be husband are standing beside the car. The 1930’s were a very difficult time on the Canadian prairies due to the depression and years of drauught, but these 4 people look like they don’t have a care in the world, and are ready to take the world by storm!
I have a black and white wedding picture of my parents that is very precious to me. It was a special time for them so it’s a special picture to me.
My favorite photo is of my son sitting on an old knarly branch while were in in Washington, D.C. before we went to PA for the wedding of a friend’s daughter. I just love it. In fact, we recreated it when he and I went to Paris, France together in the Luxembourg gardens.
My favorite photo is one taken at my wedding. It is of me, my husband, my parents, my brother, his wife and two daughters. My husband and dad are both looking down at my older niece (who was my flower girl at exactly 17 months) who is in my mom’s arms. Shannon’s chubby little legs are sticking out of her dress. Taylor, who was almost 2 months on my wedding day is asleep in my brother’s arms.
My favorite photo is my youngest nephew (now 18) and my daddy (who passed away from cancer) He is sitting on my dearest daddy’s lap. Daddy was so healthy then and he has such a smile on his face. It brings a tear to my eye, even now.
I have a picture I took of my kids throwing leaves into the air a few falls ago. It just warms my heart to see their pure honest giggles and the falling leaves frame it wonderfully.
My dear parents hold a very special place in my heart, so a picture of them, is one of my favorites.
My favorite picture is of my dad holding me when I was
just a wee baby. My dad was my hero, a strong quiet man who was a wonderful role model for our family.
Favorite photo…that is so hard. I am a scrapbooker and love photos. But to pick one, it would have to be of my boys when they were little. It was at a photo shoot and they were playing and laughing and having so much fun together. They are 6 years apart and they don’t have many common interests and they are not as close as they were when they were little. I see that photo and hope that they will again be close and be able to rely on each other.
my favorite photograph is one taken when my my son was two and he is playing ring around the rosie with my husbands parents who are both deceased pictures truly are worth a thousand words
I have a picture of my then 4 year old daughter at a waterpark. she put her foot on a geyser & there is water spraying all around her. The look of absolute joy on her face makes it my favorite.
It’s a pic of three of my favorite things, my youngest, a new red puppy, and a sunny snowy day!
I have a photograph of my favorite place… Niagara Falls (NY side). I know that many have been taken from every angle but its special because the first time I saw it it really took my breath away. Looking forward to the July release, my wishlist is getting quite large.
I have a photo of my daughter and husband. He is holding her at the fireworks show when she was about 2. You can see the adoration in his eyes as he watches her watch the fireworks in amazement.
One of my favorite photos is of my dad sitting in his chair with me sitting on the footstool in front of him. We are both laughing at something and the connection between us is so strong. I was seventeen and he was fifty-three and he died six months later. I wish I could remember what we were laughing about.
Favorite photo – hard to narrow down. One of the ones that comes to mind is actually a photo of my mother-in-law in her one-room school in Minnesota. Most of the other children in the photo are her siblings and cousins. It reminds me that we aren’t too far removed from a very different time in our country’s heritage.
I’m still needing to scrapbook this photo along with her story.
I have an 8×10 of a precious aunt who is a surragate parent to me. It is taken outdoors with a beautiful snowy mountain and meadow in the background. She’s wearing light blue and white with a red hat. She’s 80 years old, and it is the most beautiful picture I’ve seen of anyone ever!
My favorite photo is my parents black and white wedding photo. They looked so beautiful on their wedding day! So full of life and love for each other. They were married for 51 years. The photo is more precious because they are both gone. I miss them so much every day.
Great release! LOVE so many items this month, and my must haves list is really long! 🙂
Family photo at my granddaughters wedding. Four generations, the bride, her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother! Tears of joy, pride and love and the wonderful memories shared with the women in that picture!
It is 3 photos I treasure-One of my mom on her wedding day- Back in 1945 they knew how to take a photo. The other was also in 1945 and it is my dad in his Army dress suit-he looks like a movie star. And the third is my yellow lab Buddy in front of some big yellow Dahlias-I took this great photo and I don’t take very good photos so I am proud of it.
My favorite photo is one of my grandma and grandpa taken on their wedding day in the 1920’s. My grandma was such a special person and I loved her so much. It makes me happy to see her so young and happy.
One of my favorite photos is a photo of my uncle who passed. My aunt dusted the frame and didn’t realize there wasn’t glass and she wiped the photo away. I found a photo almost identical to it and put it in the frame, gave it to her and she smiled and said “Mel your back”! It was priceless!!
Our latest family picture. My mom survived an aneurysm last year and we are all so grateful that she is still with us. And to top it all off, she has had an amazing recovery from it. Our latest family picture reminds me to always be thankful for my mom.
I have a photo that was taken on my daughter’s 5th birthday taken 18 years ago. It is so special because ithe picture includes my parents, my sister’s family and my family. It was such a fun day and full of memories. I cant out the picture away.
When my first daughter was an infant, I was lucky enough to meet my great grandfather and have a picture taken with me, my daughter, my dad, his mother and her father, a true fifth generation photo which I will always treasure.
We took our daughter’s senior pictures. We have this one of her leaning up against a brick wall. She has this look on her face that is so her. Everytime I look at it I realize just how blessed we are to have her.
My favorite photo is one of my husband smiling…he is standing in front of the grill, probably cooking up something wonderful for dinner. 🙂 Sadly, he passed away (too young) 14 years ago. Looking at this photo always makes me smile and remember the wonderful but short time we had together.
My favorite photograph is of my dad sitting with me at about 5 days old on his bent up legs looking out into the lake. It’s a great picture and reminds me of what a great childhood I had living on the lake!
My favorite photo of all time is one of me & my grandmother the day of my wedding…she was just so happy to be there and be a oart of my special day…I am so glad I have that photo of us becuase she passed away exactly 2 months later…
My favorite photo is of my little Latina granddaughter dressed up in her Rapunzel costume (or, as she says, Tangled) with that huge, down-to-the floor blonde wig. The smile on her face is priceless!
My favorite photo is one of my dog Harley. My daughter likes to take Harley outside for pictures. He is laying on the deck with his head turned and his expression in the photo really captured his personality.
My favorite photo is of my dad holding my first son at age 6 weeks, his first grandchild. We came home from Germany the summer after he was born. My dad died the following year and my son was the only grandchild he ever got to meet.
I have a recent new favorite photo. I was able to visit my parents in CA in April, and while I was there I subjected all my family to a photo shoot. My favorite of the day was my mom sitting on my dad’s lap, and the mischevious look on my dad’s face is priceless! You can really see the love on both their faces, and after 56 years of marriage no less! I am blessed to have such great parents.
At my father’s retirement party in 1978, my cousin took a photo of my parents with all five children. A year later my oldest brother was killed in a car accident. It always reminds me of the values my parents taught us and how much they sacrificed to provide for us. They are deceased also, and I miss the three of them dearly.
My father was always behind the camera so pictures of him are rare. There is one of him holding me on my first Christmas and a candid of us dancing at a wedding shortly before he died that I treasure!
I am torn between two – but I would have to say the picture of my brother and I – he was maybe 2 and I was maybe 5 we were eating smores hat ended up all over our faces – reminds me of the simpler times of being kids.
A photo taken 8 years ago of all my mom’s grandkids lined up on a driftwood covered beach – it was grandma’s 70th birthday and a rare occasssion when all 10 kids (4-13 yrs old) have been together. I gave my mom a copy with a large mat that everyone signed – from the younger kids large printing to the precise cursive of the older kids, it is a great capture of a moment in time. It’s family, summer, sun and all things wonderful!
What a wonderful question! Mine is a photo of my Mother and I with my Seattle family. We are the only ones looking at the camera. Everyone else is talking or doing something very natural to them. I can see everyone’s personality in the photo.
My favorite picture is one where my grandmother is holding my daughter for the first time. My mom and I around watching. The age span is 3 months to 85 years. In a few years, my daughter will become a mother and I cannot wait to have a picture of my mother, daughter and grandchild.
My favorite picture is the one of me being held by my mom, just after I was born. I think it perfectly captures a new mother’s love for her baby. I will treasure it always!
I have a photo of myself when I was about 9 months old. I’m standing in an old time playpen with the biggest smile and happiest face ever! This pic makes me smile and get that warm fuzzy feeling! I even sculpted the head and shoulders years ago! It now sits in the “Artist Sanctuary” room.
My favorite photo is of my grandmother. She never took a good picture…always looked like she was pouting. But…we have one great photo of her with a coy little smile. She was a wonderful lady and I miss her very much.
My favorite photo is one for our church directory several years ago. We had an extra one taken with our neighbors who were so much a part of our lives. They have since passed, but we are reminded of them daily by that photo, hanging where all can see.
when my grandfather passed away I was given an old photo of myself at two years of age that he always kept on his night table – the frame was replaced several years ago and the photo is aged and sepia tinted but it holds a lot of memories from years ago
My current favorite photo is of my mom, daughter and me taken last summer along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. My dad had passed away about three weeks prior after a two-year battle with cancer and my mom said that she needed to get out of the house and do something different without looking at a clock. While we had stopped to view the gorgeous scenery, Brianna set the timer of her camera, pulled us together and ended up with a wonderful reminder of our afternoon together. The photo means even more to me since my mom just passed away last month.
My favorite photograph is of myself as a baby. I was less than a year old, wearing a little cookie monster bib, and sitting up with a huge smile on my face, holding on to my feet. Seeing that photo is heartwarming, because the joy on my face is so pure!
I have a picture I took of my children to one of our visits to our state capitol. They were setting on a wall with a huge crabapple tree in the backgroud. It was fall, so the tree was loaded with crabapples. The way they are positioned, by age and height, the taller peaking around the other is perfect. Their smiles are priceless. The sad part is it was taken with a bad camera, so it isn’t very good quality, but the content and composition is fabulous.
My favorite photo is one of my Dad and I taken on my wedding day. He passed away 10 years ago and I have this photo in a shadow box with some other older photos and keepsakes. Makes me smile whenever I look at it and remember how happy he was for me on my wedding day.l
Photos of my kids growing up are all special to me – couldn’t pick just one!
The new sets are awesome!
I’m not the best photographer, but I have this great picture that I took of the Eiffel Tower at night.
I have eight sisters and we were attending a family wedding when we gathered around my wheelchair bound Dad and sang “You are my Sunshine” together. My Dad loved music and this was his “signature” song…the one he sang to all of us as babies and toddlers and continued with his grandkids. He has since left this world, but the smiling faces on the picture that we have really shows just how much we loved this gentle giant of a man!
After my Mom passed away, I found a photo of my sweet Aunt who had passed away when I was only eight. She always came to visit us during summer when we were out of school and would spend lots of time playing, laughing, reading with me. She never had any children of her own and always made me feel very special and loved, so I treasure that photo of my beautiful Aunt!
This is hard. One of my favorites is a picture of my daughters sitting on the deck with their arms around each other. They are best friends.
I have a photograph of my dad when he was around 30 years old, riding a John Deere pedal tractor, making a funny face for the camera. It reminds me that we need to let go & ‘act like a kid’ sometimes! My dad has been gone for 10 years now, and I cherish that snapshot more than ever!
The one that comes to mind is a photo of me and my nephew, who is also my Godson…he was about 4 and we were at his school program. It was taken right after that. He’s now 17 and just graduated high school!
My very favorite photo of all time is a picture of my family taken in the hospital the day after my son was born. It’s a closeup of my husband and I looking at our son, and I feel like it captures perfectly the overwhelming feelings of awe and love that we felt after our baby was born. I love it.
Photos hold special memories and it’s hard to choose one favorite, but I have to say a picture of my dad in his Navy uniform is the first one that came to mind.
One of my most favorite photos is of my Husband and his Father. It was thanksgiving and they were horsing around when I was ready to snap a photo, my FIL planted a huge kiss on my husbands cheek. The look on both their faces was priceless. Sadly, my FIL passed away as a result of a tragic car accident just a week later. It is a truly treasured photo of a happy time and place.
My favorite picture is of our mother and my three brothers and myself. We had a great day and everyone had big smiles. That picture is so very special as it was the last photograph of our mother.
This past spring I took a photo of my son before school on crazy hair day. I truly captured his personality. That is my current favorite photo. Thank you for another great release and a chance at winning such great stamps.
I have a photo of my friend and I peeking through a hole in a cave in Newfoundland. It reminds me of such a fun summer of adventure.
My favorite photo is one that was taken the Christmas before my mother passed away. Mom had alzheimers disease, and had reached a stage where she usually wasn’t “behind her eyes”. She generally didn’t know her family or much of her life history. On that Christmas, we were at the care home. I was helping Mom unwrap her gifts. For about 30 minutes, Mom was back with us – she knew who we were and was even telling some of the corny old puns she was known for. As we opened gifts together, one of the staff members at the care home snapped a picture of us laughing together. I didn’t even know the picture had been taken until a few weeks later, and it perfectly captured the Mom I remember. Such a precious gift, and a photo I will always treasure.
My favorite photo is of my mom and I together when I was 12 years old. My mom passed away four years ago and when I was going through her belongings I found the dress she wore in that picture. I didn’t have the heart to toss it so I kept it for memories sake.
My all time favorite. Photograph is
Four generation picture of my mom, myself,
My daughter and my grandson. It something
I will cherish for ever. It was a moment in life
That make you smile and said wow. 4 generations
How amazing is that
My favourite photograph is one of my granddaughter on her first birthday sitting on my knee while she blows out her birthday candle…..Just magical!!!
I have an old photo of my Great Aunt Bessie in a wonderfully pensive pose. One year i took my mom for a photo and had her pose like that-one of my favorites of her!!
My very favorite photo is one of me holding my new son after we came home from Ethiopia with him. I was feeding him and he’d fallen asleep in my arms and I am looking down at him. It was such an amazing moment to have captured the miracle of motherhood, my sleeping child in my arms….finally. I made a LO with that picture and titled it, You are my Miracle. And he is.
A picture of me and my hubby taken by a passerby a few days before we got engaged, when we were on vacation…. 22 years later, it still always makes me smile.
My favorite photo is of me and my then boyfriend (now hubby) – instead of looking at the camera, he’s looking at me. It’s just a simple candid shot, but it makes my heart so full and so happy every time I look at it and see the love on his face.
My favorite photograph is one of my two boys playing together at the playground. I managed to capture that sweet moments when they were both smiling, happy and sharing! 🙂 it always makes me smile to look at it.
My favorite picture is a picture that was taken at a friend’s wedding. I was a part of the wedding party and it is a picture of me and my future husband. We were so happy to see our friend start a on a new journey with her husband.
that’s easy! The picture of my daughter Hannah in the princess dress I made for her at the Renaissance Festival taken a few short weeks before she died in a car accident.
The picture of my father holding his new yellow lab puppy for the first time. He named her Mindy and they have been each others life. We are a family of animal lovers and I have never seen a bond so strong as the one they have for each other. I truely believe she played a huge role in helping him beat lymphoma. She was recently very sick and we weren’t sure she was going to make it. He would lay on the floor at night with her and just softly talk to her, willing her to make it through. I look at that photo often and you can already see such love in both their eyes, even at that very first meeting.
My favorite photo is of my daughter at Christmas when she was almost two – full of joy and delight. Right after that she got thick glasses due to being severely farsighted, and didn’t get contacts until seventh grade. She hates all pictures of herself with glasses, and didn’t believe how beautiful she was until at age 15 starting her first job at a restaurant and getting hit on by the employees and customers. Fortunately, her very muscular older brother also worked there, and was able to put fear of bodily harm into all the other guys. My favorite picture is also one of her favorites.
My new favorite picture is the family portrait we had taken this year. My children are 19 and 15 and I see the wonderful young adults they have become…and it reminds me I did something right!
When my daughter was just under a year old, I took a picture of her at the flower gardens. She was sitting playing with a flower and giggling up a storm. I loved it so much, that I wanted to take more just like it. It sparked my love for photography and I started my own business. In order to advance my skills, I started shooting Weddings for free. Wedding Photography is really expensive, and so many people can’t afford to hire someone to help capture those memories. I’ve been able to help a lot of amazing people, many of which sparked a lifelong friendship. It feels great to know that you really can make a difference just by donating your time.
My favorite photograph is a picture of my sisters and I on my wedding day – it is a close up of all of our faces. I love seeing us all looking our best and each so different yet similar. It is fun to look back on and see how much each has changed over the years.
I think my favorite is a Christmas with Santa photo of me and my two brothers…my younger brother is crying and my older brother is smiling and I am looking at the camera as if to say ‘really?’ It’s sepia toned taken in about 1957…very nostalgic.
I have some pictures of my parents that were taken about the time of their high school graduation. They are in a park, just kids having fun. I like all the photos of my parents, of course, but those are some of my favorites.
A picture of my mom, my sister and me taken just three short months before my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer. It was the last photo we had of the three of us together. The picture sits on my craft room table.
My Fav Photo is of my whole family on the beach for my wedding day…it’s so special because we hadn’t had a family photo for years…priceless imo
One Christmastime, I was wrapping presents on the floor next to the Christmas tree, and my husband fell asleep on the floor next to me, and my kitty cat curled up right next to him. I took a picture of them together, and it captures everything cozy and happy to me.
A photo of my grandpa marrying my husband and I. In the picture he is praying over us. He was a pastor and he has passed away since. I am so lucky we got the chance to have him do that for us. I miss him but will cherish that memory…
When my daughter was 5yrs old, her favorite carton charter was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I made her costume of her favorite – Donatello. Her smile and bright eyes in that photo all dressed up – says it all. I love that photo.
My favourite photograph of all time is a picture I took of my son when he was about two and was quietly playing in with a mud puddle after the rain. I love pictures when the subject doesn’t know you are watching.
My favorite photo is a picture of my daughter. She is about two and she has her hands clasped together and she is looking up. She looks like a little angel child. She now has an angel child of her own, but I still love that picture.
I think my favorite photo is of my daughters Christening. Its jut such a happy photo. My husband and I all dressed up holding our perfect little angel all in white. Just brings joy to my heart.
That’s easy! It’s the one taken right after my son was born. He is so precious and tiny and his thumb and forefinger were closed together in a beautiful “OK” symbol.
My favorite photo is of my husband holding our oldest daughter, who at the time was only a few weeks old, and they were both asleep. They just look so peaceful and happy.
After my mom died unexpectedly from a heart attack at 58, we developed some film in her camera. A few weeks before, She and my grandmother made a trip to the old cabin where my great-grandpa and grandma had lived. When I picked up the pictures, there was one of my mom leaning out one of the cabin windows waving…..it was like she was telling me goodbye. I feel like that last picture of my mom is a special gift and is so precious to me.
My favorite photo is one of my fiance and me from 14 years ago – we were falling in love and it was the start of our relationship. We were so young and seems like another lifetime when I look at it. It represents my 20s. I will cherish it forever!
My favorite photograph of all time would have to be of my swimming with a dolphin. I know that might sound crazy but here is why…..Swimming with dolphins is something I had always wanted to do….I love dolphins. Well I went through a 5 yr battle with a rare form of cancer in my leg(sarcoma) and after coming back 3 times I had to make the unthinkable choice to have my leg amputated at 32 years old. If I hadn’t made that choice it could have spread to my lungs or liver & would have then been terminal. So after I healed my mom, my little niece & I went to Discovery Cove in Florida and I got to do what I had always dreamed of. So not only does that picture represent something I always dreamed of doing it represents what I had been through & what I had conquered. By the way, I am now 6 yrs Cancer Free!!!!
One of my favorite pictures is of my husband and I with our first granddaughter when she was about one year old. She is sitting on my lap and we are both looking at her. You can see the love in all of our faces.
My favorite picture was taken 23 years ago when my husband brought our 3 children to the hospital to meet their new brother. I can still feel their wonder and amazement and hear their whispers as I look at this photograph.
My favorite photograph of all time is a picture taken of my daughter by her daycare provider. She developed it in black and white, which I think makes it even more classic. It’s a close up of her face and upper chest. That day they had been playing in the kiddie pool so she just had unders on (no shirt). Her hair had been wet, so it was swept off to the side in a single barette and left to dry in it’s darling waves. She has a serious look on her face, no smile and a bit of Oreo cookie crumb in one corner of her mouth. I love it!
My favorite photo of all time is our son when he was about 6 years old. He is hanging on the porch railing with his dirty little hands being all boy with a the sweeetest, happiest smile.
Eep… I’m not sure if I have a favorite photo. There’s one of my husband and I from our engagement shoot. It’s just our feet: his cowboy boots and my bright red, freshly pedicured, sandaled feet. Totally captures our personalities.
One day I took my kids to a local park and zoo near my parents’ home. I spent many summer days there growing up, so it’s a place that means a lot to me. My daughter was tired toward the end of our visit and without being asked my son picked her up and carried her. I was walking behind them and was able to capture the memory with my iPhone camera. It was a rare, special moment of brotherly love.
What a great release! Oh my, how to choose one favorite photograph. Well, one of my favorite ones is a black & white photograph that my daughter took several years ago of my son’s hands while he was holding a live starfish. She captured so much emotion in that one photo. She’s a wonderful photographer. Thanks for a chance to win.
My favorite photo of all time is one taken at my niece’s wedding two years ago. The photographer took a picture of my niece (the bride) and my mother and me. Mom passed away last September, and that is the last photo I have of the two of us, and on such a happy occasion. I will treasure it forever.
Mine is a professional picture done of both my boys when they were 1 and 3….I just adore this picture of my loves!
Hmm…another tough one so I’ll go with the 2 that came to mind right away…the picture of me holding my son in the hospital the day after he was born…he looks so tiny and I’m so young…fast forward to my wedding day 18 years later…me in my wedding dress and my son in his tux just before we leave home for the church. Moments I ponder in my heart always.
A baby picture of my triplet daughters laying on the floor together – it was the first picture of the three of them that they were all smiling, eyes open and looking at the camera!
LOVE LOVE LOVE everything! Especially the frames, Blueberry and Wisteria paper, Roses, Foliage- Icould go on and on! The contributors ideas are fabulous too.
There is a photo of my dad and I when I was a little girl that I just adore.
My favorite picture of all time is a picture of my daughter, she was around 6 months old and she is looking out the front window of my parents house. The way the picture was taken and the reflection on the window is amazing!
My favorite photo was taken of me about age 6 standing I. Front of our Christmas tree in my new cocktail dress, fur stole and plastic high heels complete with big teeth and knobby knees and scraps on my shins. I was mortified when my Mom told me she’s show it to all my prospective boyfriends when I grew up. BUT I’m proud to say that I have learned to embrace all my imperfections and now adore this photo of me at 6!
My favorite photograph is of my son when he was two years old. They were taken after Christmas with all his toys and he was the cutest ever beaming with happiness over what Santa brought him. He is 22 now, but still cherish those pictures the best. Thanks for the chance and what a fabulous release!
When my daughters were about 4 and 2, we hired a photographer to take those black and white close up photos that were so popular at the time. The pictures were beautiful, and they are hanging in our living room still (it’s been 10 years since). She captured their beauty as well as their spirit and personality, and I still love looking at that picture.
My favorite photo is an old fashioned style black and white family photo taken at Columbia, California during one of our vacations when the kids were young. They dressed us up in 1860’s clothes, posed the five of us around my seated husband and told us not to smile. Of course, we got the giggles – who’d have thought not smiling for a photo would be so hard? They finally got a serious shot (except for the dancing eyes). I smile every time I see that picture, such happy times!
my favorite picture is one that was just taken recently…my oldest daughter graduated from college and my youngest daughter/child graduated from high school. My family has never had a family portrait taken and this is the only time I have gotten a decent picture of all five of us together!! it brings happiness and sorrow to my heart at the same time…i am so proud of my three children and that they are all going out into the world and will be successful; but i am sad that that chapter of my life is over!(Taking care and seeing my children daily)
It is so hard to pick just one, but I would have to say it is a photo that I took of my dog. I managed to catch him just as his laying on the bed and looking up at me and the highlight in his eyes is perfect. It’s the quintessential “puppy dog” eyes and it gets me every time.
My favorite picture is one from when I was 5 years old. It is a picture of my mom, my dad, and myself. It’s the only picture I have of all of us, and the only picture with my mom and dad together that I have.
Oh my goodness – so hard to decide! I’d have to say my fave is one of all the nieces and nephews sitting together, making a crazy face. (They always get rewarded for a being good during the “real” photo shoot by getting to do a couple silly ones at the end!)
My favorite photo is one which shows the hands of my grandmother surrounded by the hands of her greatgrandchildren. It’s beautiful.
My favorite photograph is of my son and daughter with my husband’s grandfather. My daughter had seen her great grandfather many times, but my son was only able to meet him this one time, since he passed away just a few months later. We have pictures of each kid giving him a big hug and kiss and he looks so happy! While my son probably won’t remember him, he will always have this picture to remind him how much his great grandfather loved him!
A tough choice, can’t make just one. Could be the one of me and my now deceased husband on our wedding day coming out of the church, or my daughter in her Brownie outfit, missing front teeth and stringy hair, or the birth of my only grandchild immediately after she was born.
I have more than one favorite. First is a picture of my parents and siblings as adults. Next is a photo of me and my husband and children. And the third, is a scenic photo I took of a sunset on the beach of Southern California.
There is no way I could pick just one. Some of my favorite pics are of my kids. Moments that have been caught on camera that depict an expression or feeling of that very moment. Priceless! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of us together early in our relationship. There’s just something in our eyes that said how special this was going to be! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my daughter taken before she realized the camera was on her, and she’s got a huge crinkly nose smile in the photo!
My favorite photograph is one that I took of my dad while testing out my camera. Little did I know that that would the last picture we took of him before he got really ill. That picture holds a special place in my heart of the more carefree and happy days…
My favorite photo is one of my grandson. His smile is so sweet and innocent and it just melts my heart when I look at it. It’s on my dresser where I can enjoy it every time I pass by.
My favorite photograph is of my dad, my younger sister and younger brother and me, taken 4 weeks before he passed away of cancer. It was probably the last photo of him looking like himself and you could tell he was happy and aware of his family surrounding him. I was happy we could step away from the cancer for just a few hours and enjoy our last Christmas all together.
The first one that came to mind is when I was about 3 or 4, it was Christmas and I am wearing a red dress with my long blonde hair falling over my shoulders. The event was the arrival of Betsy Wetsy and my Grandma who geve her to me is sitting behind me with a big smile. I still have Betsy Wetsy, she looks a bit different now, she was well loved for years.
My favorite photo is of all my grandkids together in one picture!
Pictures of family are my favorites. Perhaps the most special is one of our two daughters when they were very young. They are still very close, and it ten shows in the photo of them at ages four and nine months.
My favorite photo is of my Paternal Grandmother. She died when I was three. My only memories of her center around her illness. I have a photo of her around the age of 19. One of my cousins thought it was a photo of me taken in one of those old time settings. This made me feel a special connection to a woman I barely knew, but influenced how I look today. The photo has a special place by my bed, it reminds me of my roots.
The famous squirrel who jumped in front the lens of the vacationing couple…too funny!
My favorite photograph of all time is a picture of my baby brother when he was about 3 years old. He was seriously the cutest toddler – ever!! I love that picture of him because it captured everything that a toddler is, happy, innocent, and beautiful.
Well to be honest I do not have a favorite photo I have many favorite photos! We just got back from a road trip to visit family and we stopped at the Four Corners and took a family snapshot so for today that will be my favorite:)
One of my favorite photos is close-up of my sister, my Dad and me at Christmas. Because my dad does not like having his picture taken this is the only one we have of the three of us and it’s beautiful.
I’ve come to especially love this one photo of myself at 3 months old that I recently found – anytime anyone sees it, they think it’s of either my 3-month-old or 3-year-old daughter! (Even my husband – their father – thought it was them!)
Can’t pick a specific photo but my favorite is any picture of any grandchild at any age. They help me remember all the cute stages and happy occasions.
I have a picture of my husband kissing the top of our newly born daughter’s head. It was taken at the hospital right after she was born. It’s so sweet!
Favorite photograph of all time…wow- that’s a tough one. The one that keeps coming to my mind is a picture of our three kids (all teenagers), sitting on a stone wall in our yard, holding our 9 cats (three each). The first picture I took of them, they were all posed really nice, but the second is my favorite. A couple of the cats started squirming and all heck broke loose. All three kids were laughing like crazy and cats were all over the place – it was hilarious, and it makes me laugh every time I remember it.
My favorite photo happened on a random day. The boys and I were on the back porch and they were in our blow up pool and we stopped for a snack. They didn’t have shirts on and my oldest has just lost his two front teeth. I had my camera just inside the door so I grabbed it and they were hugging each other and laughing and smiling. I said to Owen, my oldest, say something funny and he said (to our youngest, Henry) “come on henry, mom wants us to smile so pretend I just gave you all my legos”. Well, we just lost it and laughed so hard and I snapped around 20 photos of them just hugging and laughing.
My favorite photograph is one of my Dad as a little boy holding a cat. I love my Dad’s smile at that moment.
My favorite photograph is the day I had my twins. They were premature, only 4 lbs each and I am holding one in arm. I felt so much love and happiness and my girls are my life, I can’t imagine what things would be like without either of them.
There is a photograph of my Grandpa holding me when I was five or six years old. This picture means a lot to me because my Grandpa was a Bible mentor to me. He loved the Lord and I look forward to seeing him again when I get to heaven. 🙂
I love my mom & dad’s wedding photograph. I actually used it on the cake table at my wedding. My mom passed away 12 yrs ago, today actually would have been my parent’s 45th anniversary. It really means a lot to me!
It was at my daughter’s high school graduation. She was graduating with honors and had the sash around her neck and was leaning over chatting and smiling with her friends she was seated with. I was a distance away and zoomed in and snapped the best picture of her ever, she looked so proud and happy.
How to pick just one! My all time favourite photo…maybe the one of my sister and I as little tots, holding bouquets of wildflowers. I actually painted it a few years ago.
It is a photo taken at my sons 8th birthday. In the picture is myself, my husband, my son and daughter and our dog Roxie. At the time I was pregnant with our 3rd child whom we lost 6 months later. It is the only photot we have that we are in a way all together including our angel Emma. It means everything to me.
My favorite photo has to be the one with my husband and I at a luau in Hawaii to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary back in 2001. I was so excited to be there…I had never flown before. We had arrived back home on September 8th and 3 days later 9/11 happened…something I will never forget.
My favourite photo is of my father which I took in a little place called Wellington Dam in Western Australia. It is special to me because I was 9 years old when I took it and he died shortly after. We spent the day together, just him and me and this photo is the best one we have of him before we knew he was sick. He died very quickly of pancreatic cancer. This photo helps me remember this day.
My all time favorite photo is one of my wedding photos. Our photographer grabbed my long veil and flung it in the air while the second photographer snapped a shot of my arms around my new hubby. The veil is floating in the air and it is absolutely gorgeous! I look at it every day and think of how blessed I am! 🙂
Every year on my birthday the only thing I ask for is for my husband to take the day off of work and that the two of us do something special with our grandson. Typically we head to a pumpkin patch or apple orchard of some sort. Actually, it’s like I’m not even there, because the two of them have this incredible connection, and my job is probably just to photograph them together. 🙂 I have an AMAZING photo of the two of them, my husband pulling the little guy in a wagon. I captured the image from behind, but it just looks like they’re the only two people in the whole world. It’s my absolutely favorite, ever!
I see more parent smiles above as favorite photo’s. Mine is one of my mum as well. She was sitting on the beach. One hand supports her cheek. Eyes closed and turned toward the sun, she has a beautiful and content smile upon her face.
It a picture of me and my dad when I was a baby. It’s aged to shades of pink and makes me smile every time I see it.
My favorite photo is one of my sister and I at Easter too many years ago to say the date. It is one of my favorite because we are both standing there in our Mom handmade matching dresses with our Grandmother hand knitted hats and scarfs. You can tell by our expressions and attitudes in the pic that we thought we were the most chic girls on the block.
My nephew is now 16 years old and despite being a teenager is still a sweet kid. When he was 3 years old he came to visit just before the Holidays and I had all my decorations out including a dancing Santa. I hadn’t turned Santa on or even mentioned anything about the special time of year to him. He was kind of waddling around and staring at the decorations as I went about my business around the house. I noticed him paying particular attention to the dancing Santa which stood on top of a wrapped package next to the tree at about the same height as he was at the time. I thought of just snapping a picture of the scene and wouldn’t you know it, he gave Santa a kiss just as I snapped the picture! He did it on his own I didn’t even let him know I was taking a picture, I was looking for a candid photo. I was amazed and it is still a photo I treasure to this day. It is all about the love and innocence of a child, the fundamental meaning of the Holiday to me.
Well, it’s hard to get down to one…but I can. Recently I got to see my father who I don’t get to see often enough. He hugged me and put his fingers into a “peace” sign. I did the same and at that very moment, my husband was able to snap a photo. When I saw it , I cried…it’s just me and my dad who I miss very much
I have a picture of my sister when she was a baby. She is about 5 and I was 15. in the picture there was a charlie brown piano painted on a wall. My sister is
posing as if she was leaning on the piano. So super cute!
As a First Time Mom, my favorite photo is our First Family Picture with our Daughter. It’s the Pride and Joy of a Photo Wall. We’ll have to take another soon.
This beautiful candid photo from our wedding day, captures us looking at each other. You can see just how much we <3 the other!
My favourite photo is a picture of my grandmother…she was battling cancer at the time. She went and had her hair done and a professional photo made. She looks so beautiful and you can courage in her eyes as she faced her battle. Sadly, it is the last photo of her that I have…but a beautiful tribute to the strong and courageous woman that she was. I miss her.
Our wedding photo is the most special of all for obvious reasons! It was beautiful and we were so happy!
My dad was stationed in Augsburg, Germany and there’s a roadside travel photo of tiny me, with Cindy Brady pigtails, perched on the shoulders of my 6’7″ Dad. It looks just like the Sound of Music. I love this photo
My most favorite photo is of the first time I held my daughter!
Wow, this is a hard question because I have many photos that I love. There is one when my kids were young & we are at Yosemite & all of us are on horseback – it brings back memories of a fun time in a beautiful location.
My son when he was about 18 months old. There is just something about that photo. Every time I see it, I find myself smiling and have such an overwhelming feeling of love.
My favorite photograph is one I took many years ago while visiting dear friends. I’d just bought my first 35mm camera, and a beautiful butterfly landed right on their young son’s head! I was in the right place at the right time with my camera, and captured a rare moment on film that we’ve all treasured through the years.
There is one photo from my wedding that I just love. It’s not one of our professional photos, but it’s my favorite. Just the look on my new husband’s face makes me feel so loved! Here’s the pic:)
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d6vsMOpdVjE/T8aHp7yD-_I/AAAAAAAAIdM/Pm54iK0VpKM/s1600/wedding.JPG
I have a photo of my family, with grandparents and cousins taken just before my grandfather died. It’s the last time that all of us were together in one photograph.
Too many to choose from, but I suppose my fav is my 4-year old g’dtr standing in her Halloween outfit last fall. She was dressed in a blue princess outfit, with a crown,& barefoot. I had brought her an inexpensive pink magic wand. When I was taking the picture, I recall her looking up, saying “where’s my pond?”. It took us a while to realize she was asking for the wand!
My favorite photo of all times is… a picture of my sister and niece. It was her 2nd birthday party and I snapped the picture of my sister holding her with her eyes closed. (as if to say, this is the best feeling in the world…MOTHERHOOD)The reason it’s my favorite picture is because my sister is no longer with us. Thanks for letting me share my story.
A photo of my dad fishing in Alaska . . . he passed away right after Thanksgiving after 2 years of terribly failing health and I love looking at this picture of him when he was young and strong. It makes me smile. That’s the way I want to remember my Dad.
My favorite photo is one of my grandson when he was about 8 months old. He is clapping his hands and has so much joy in his face. It was on Mother’s Day and makes me so proud!
I would say the pictures I snapped of my ragdoll cat when I picked him out of the litter- he was the one for me. He has helped me out more than he knows. 🙂 A very special kitty. <3 Thank you for the chance to win.
My favorite photos are probably the naked bottom pictures of my kids when they were babies. I have them framed and hanging in my master bath!:)
This is hard because there are so many…. one of my favorites is a picture of me and my Mom when I was in college. She is curled up in the corner of the couch reading her Bible and I’m next to her. The photo captured an everyday moment and that’s how I remember her.
My parents on the dance floor at my wedding, 40 years after their own wedding.
I love your website! My favorite photo is one of my mother. She was usually rather serious but we surprised her one time by flying my sister in from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest. We “pretended” to talk to my sis by phone at her house in Arkansas when she was actually two houses away. When we said goodbye, my sis walked to my mom’s house and I caught her picture as my sis walked in the door. Absolute, sheer delight!! I had NEVER seen my mom react in such a truly ecstatic way. I still feel so happy for her for having that moment even though she is no longer with us. Thanks for the opportunity for me to remember that photo. I am going to go find it and scrapbook it. THANK YOU!!
I have a very old photo of my son when he was about 3 years old. He is sitting in the grass holding a Monarch butterfly. His face is just precious, as he is studying the butterfly so intently!
That’s easy. My favorite photo shows my mom as a baby sitting on her mother’s lap with her grandmother and great-grandmother standing behind them. Four generations of proud, strong women in one shot. Priceless.
My favorite photo is of my kids when they were toddlers at Easter. They had the cutest smiles on their faces and I always had special outfits that coordinated. They are now 25 and 28 years old and I still have those photos out!
My all time favorite picture hangs on my refrigerator. It was taken in the 60’s of my dad, my three sisters and myself on the front steps. We are all dressed in our Sunday best, my dad is wearing a bow tie. Not certain what the occasion was, but everyone is smiling. Oh, and the best part, it’s black & white.
My favorite photo is one I came across again recently. My daughter is sitting in her high chair eating cake at her first birthday celebration. She has cake all over her face and is grinning from ear to ear. It is a great memory!
My favourite photo is the annual Christmas shot of our four grandsons seated on the sofa together. Side by side, never posed, holding hands or poking at each other, one crying, one laughing, whatever. Just a moment in time captured.
I’d have to say that I happen to have two favorite photographs: the more recent one is my Nursing School Graduation Portrait; I don’t take a lot of photos of myself, so not only am I so very proud of the accomplishment the portrait describes, but how well I look in it, haha! =)
My second favorite photo is one where I am included with all of my fiance’s family at Christmas. We also had four generations of family there with us. It’s wonderful to feel so loved by his family and feel included. =)
One of my current fav photo is a school picture of my twins captured perfectly with both of them smiling and looking right at the camera. That never happens when I take a photo of them.
This is really tough! I have so many photos that I just love. I lost my dad several years ago and still miss him. I have a photo of him when he was working at Northrop where he was sitting at his next drawing up designs for planes. Such a memory and I can even picture it withoug seeing it.
About twelve years ago, we had scheduled a family reunion to celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday. Sadly, he passed away about a month and a half before the reunion, and so it became a memorial reunion instead of a birthday reunion. My aunt scheduled a photographer to come and take photos of the whole clan, both as individual families and as group shots with each other and my grandmother. Those photos hang in my bedroom, and I see them every night. My grandmother went to heaven last year, and I love looking at her legacy of family and love.
My favourite photo is of my sister and I at the Winter Olympics in Torino in 2006 with the Olympic mascots. It captures how much fun we had at the event and what a fantastic and special trip it was.
Our wedding photo is my favorite photo! We got married in Hawaii (we live in CA) and our immediate families flew in to celebrate with us! A day to remember forever!
My husband and I had a formal photo taken of us when we went on a cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary. It is my favorite photo of all time because it truly reflected the love we have for each other, especially since we just celebrated our 45th anniversary!!
I have a photo of my dog taking a nap in the afternoon and the sun shining through the window behind him. He looks so peaceful. He has now passed away, but that picture reminds me of how my heart still melts for him.
My favourite photo is one of my grandmother and my newborn son. It was taken just before my grandmother’s Alzheimers took it’s hold of her fully. It’s makes me smile to see her looking so lovingly at him and also makes me sad as she doesn’t remember any of us now.
There is a photo of my Dad and I when I was 2 years old. It was taken in front of our house as he knelt down behind me with his hands around my waist. The smiles on both of our faces are larger than life! My Dad is currently dying from lung cancer and whenever I see this picture, it reminds me to enjoy each special moment in life!
I have a picture of my son when he first came out of my womb. It is a very special and dear to me as it constantly reminds me that he is a miracle.
My favorite is a studio photo of my mother taken in the late 1940s before she was married. Her dress, hairstyle and makeup epitomize that era so well. She has a beautiful smile and I just love it.
I have a photo from my wedding of my grandmother and I. It is very special to me, because I know she won’t be here forever, and it was a time we were truly happy together. It will be a great memory for me.
There is a picture of my dad in about 1988, when he was 59, in his bathing suit, tennies and lifeguard hat, holding a surfboard (which he made). He was in charge of taking my guy friends on a scout surfing trip. They blew up the picture to 16×20 and signed it. They named him “the Buffmaster”, because he really is Superman. My sister swiped the pic and it’s hanging in her house.
One of my all time fave photo is a photo of myself and my late grandmother. She was such an amazing caring woman.
My favorite photo of all times is one of my daughter at Yellowston. It is a totally natural photo of her in awe of what she was viewing.
My favorite picture is of me with my sisters and brothers when I was about 6. It was taken at Christmas and we were all dressed up and excited about the special day. It reminds me of the happy times we had growing up.
My favorite photo is a black and white photo of my grandfather tying a fly to his fishing rod in the back of his boat. It’s a balck and white photo and he’s wearing the fishing hat I always picture him in. It captured my memories of him perfectly…
There is this one picture of my twin sister, my older sister and myself when we were really young. It’s one of the few pictures I have of the three of us when we were young as a lot of our pictures got lost somehow in the transition of some difficult moments.
My favorite photo of all time is that of my grandfather, who died when my dad was really young. It sits on my parents’ mantel, and it’s the only one I’ve ever seen of him, so it definitely means a lot to me!
My favorite photo is of my grandparents dancing a waltz at my wedding 25 years ago, completely oblivious of everything around them, they only have eyes for each other – what a wonderful omen for a wedding!
My fav photo is of me and my son after I had just given birth to him. He is my little angel and has changed my life in so many ways.
There is this one picture of myself on my tummy and my little son looks exactly like myself in the same pose in a recent picture. So precious and cute.
Love love love this months collection I want it all!
You are so so so talented!
Love all my wedding photos. But there is one very special one of my husband and I that I just love…the pose, the lighting and everything about it.
A photo of 4 generations of us was taken playing in Lake Siskiyou, CA on July 4th, with the lovely trees along the bank of the lake, and Mt Shasta covered with snow in the background. I was on a float & my oldest daughter pushing it, her youngest daughter PG with twins and my youngest daughter are in the water with my great grand baby # 9 between them It is not often 4 generations of us get off to the same place together for a fun day.. Hugs, Pat
My favorite photo is a side view of my two young daughters and they were looking down with their foreheads touching. It represented a very special bonding moment to me and I feel love and warmth every time I look at that photo. I wish they were that young again.
I have a photo of my husband and me on one of our first vacations out west. We are on a rock in Black Canyon National Park and the photo was taken by a friend we were visiting. Very special and the start of lots of travel pictures!
My favorite photo is of my husband and me, after our wedding. We’re just happy as clams in the picture, even after an exhausting day. 🙂
A favorite photo is of my husband and I on Easter Sunday morning. He had been working an extremely difficult case and actually was able to spend time with us that Easter morning. It was a day that was special to all of us.
Your release is fabulous, as usual. Continued success.
A casual photo that was taken in 1963 with my husband & me and our two children at a picnic in a large park. I always thought he was gorgeous, but I look at that photo & it still makes my legs weak. We didn’t take many photos back then, so I treasure this one of a brief moment in time. We just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last month & I am very thankful for him and our life together.
My all time favorite photo is a black and white photo of me and my brother taken in the mid-80’s. We were very young and hugging one another. I love this particular picture because of the innocence of it. xoxo sarah
My favorite picture is one I have of my sons when they were younger. I remember the day like it was yesterday…they made some crazy faces and even to this day, when I see that picture I just have to laugh out loud! They are growing into such wonderful young men, but that picture just captures their personalities. Thanks for making me stop and remember that!!
My favourite photo is one of my grandpa and my son. It is of the 2 of them playing the organ and it was taken just a few days before my grandfather died.
My favorite photo is of my dad in his Military Police uniform when he was stationed in Korea. I have it hanging in a special spot in my home so that I can see it every day. He looks so young and handsome.
My favorite photograph is one taken in the hospital of my mother and me when I was born in 1947. She looks as glamorous as any movie star from the 40’s; she is wearing a satin bed jacket with a white bow in her hair and I am nestled in her right arm with a matching bow in mine. I keep it in a frame on my desk and can’t help but feel the joy she felt that day!
I love the photos my my took of my siblings and I. Simpler times. Great to reflect on how much fun we had growing up.
My favorite photo is one that was snapped by my Dad of me kissing the forehead of my baby boy. I was likely smelling his perfect new baby smell & had puckered up to kiss his precious head. My eyes are closed but it is pretty clear that life was pretty blissful in that moment. Now he is almost 13, life is anything but sweet & blissful. More like sassy & chaotic with a teen…but I still remember the feeling in that photo like it was yesterday. Precious.
I have a small black and white photo of my parents on their wedding day. They are coming out of church and they look so happy…my mom is so pretty and my dad so handsome. It is one of the few pictures I have of them as they were not big picture takers.
I have a photo of my baby girl in her newborn pram that has little bear ears. She’s just so darling, it makes me smile every time I see it.
A picture of my young niece holding a big bunch of balloons with the cutest smile. It makes me smile every time I look at at.
My favorite photograph is one that was taken on a cruise ship of my husband and I. The way he was leaning into the railing and the look he had in his eyes makes my heart melt everytime I look at that photo. We are so blessed to still be in love after 35 years of marriage. Thanks for the chance to win!
I do not have one favorite photo that I go back to, but rather I have many photos that brings me joy – all photos of me and the people that are dearest and nearest to me.
My favorite photo is one that my sister just found recently! It’s an old B&W of my mom when she was 16. It AMAZES me how much I look like how she looked many years ago! We ended up having it printed on canvas for her and had it framed in Koa wood!
My sister took a picture of me, my dog Puddles, and three of my neighborhood friends in front of my house. We were all 3 or 4 years old. She then took a picture of us in the same spot about 7 years later. It brings back memories everytime I look at those pictures.
Tops of all times…my three children walking down the driveway on the youngest ones’ first day of school. They’re all holding hands and the picture is only their backs from a distance…too precious for words!
I have photo of my oldest son on the first day back to school after summer break when he was 10. He was eating his breakfast and stopped so I could snap a pic’. His skin is tanned from playing outside all summer long, he’s got a new haircut and a beautiful smile. I scrapped this one right away with the journalling, “Whenever I see your smiling face I have to smile myself because I love you, yes, I do. (James Taylor)
It has to be a picture of my daughter in Tahoe. She is jumping high in the air and you just see the back of her.. Like she is suspended in air and appears like she is jumping off the mountain and in front of her the beautiful setting of Lake Tahoe.
My favorite photo of all times is one of me taken at my wedding when I was looking up at my husband in the midst of a laugh. It so preciously captures the love and emotion of the day and I feel like I can see my happiness glowing from the photo.
I have to say my fav photo is the family pic we got last year. It was our first professional photo and I’ll never forget the experience because my 2 year old was incorrigible. 🙁
I think our Christmas picture I send out every year is my favorite- just a reminder of the love my four girls have for each other – even though they are all teenagers now – it’s a fun picture to take and compare from year to year.
My favorite photo is of my husband and I as we walking into our wedding reception, hand in hand. It’s a candid shot, we’re both laughing and having a blast. That was thirty years ago next week. We were so young then (19), but we made it last all these years because we kept laughing, mostly at ourselves.
My new favorite photo is of my two teenage boys on our boat. We love Lake Chautauqua, and we spun the boat around until the light was just right on their faces. Their smiles and the older one’s arm around the younger’s shoulders capture the moment perfectly. I will cherish this photo on my desk as my older son heads off to college in September!
My favourite photo is one of me finishing my first Comrades marathon (89km). It was a very proud moment and one I will never forget.
My favorite photo is of my aunt when we were at the last relay for life event that she attended. she was so happy that we started the team in honor of her, she passed away a few months later but that picture shows how happy she was that day.
My favorite photo is one of my great-grandmother holding hands with my grandfather (who is about two years old in the photo). They had just recently come to America from Italy to join my great-grandfather who had come ahead to get a job and build a house. I love knowing that I come from strong brave people!
My favorite photo is a picture of my mother when she graduated from college. She died when I was only ten so it helps me keep my memory of her from fading.
I have a photo of my two year old grandson who looked up at me with the biggest smile and the brightest blue eyes when I called his name and I captured that moment.
my wedding picture is my favorite and all the pictures of our 5 children thanks for a chance to win!
My favorite photo is a snapshot my hubby took of me & my dad in our driveway after church on Father’s Day 3 yrs ago. It wasn’t planned–just spur of the moment & only 1 shot was taken & it started to sprinkle. Turns out that was the last Father’s Day I had with my wonderful dad & it’s a great picture of both of us. I treasure it.
My favorite photo is actually a series. The focal point is my mother as a little girl wearing an adorable yellow dress. The photos surrounding it are of her granddaughters all wearing the same dress around the same age–priceless.
My favorite photo is one I came upon a few years back. It is a picture of my cousin and I when we were both about 4 or 5. It just struck me because you can see how close we were even back then. I was a head taller than her, even back then. AND, she had better shoes than me, EVEN back then!
I have a picture of my family when I was about 6 or 7 dressed in our finest going into church on Easter Sunday. It was put in the local paper with a story on Easter services. I vividly having that photo taken. Great memory.
I always starring at a photo of my father’s family. Complete with his beautiful grandmother, aunties, uncles, mother, father, sisters and cousins. My father sitting on the floor when he was so young and i felt he look so cute and innocent. Of course the photo is so big in frame. our family always starring at this photo as we felt so nostalgic. Of course we know how they look, so proud to have beautiful and lovely great grandmother and grandmother. Most important is we knew that my youngest brother have same face with my father during young.
My favorite photograph is when my husband and I got married. I can see our happy faces. I knew that I married the right guy, who I know will love me no matter what.
My favorite photograph is me holding my first son for the first time, I would have to say the photo of me holding my second son holds an equal amount of space in my heart.
So many to choose from, but I would have to pick a photo of my grandparents holding my sister and me when we were about 2 and 5, respectively. The love they had for their only grandchildren was so obvious in their faces, and you can see how much we adored them in our innocent eyes.
I would have to say of my parents because they are gone now and I have a great one of them that I will cherish forever.
My favorite is a photo of me and my parents, when I was 1 year old. I standing on my Dad’s knee. Mom and Dad were sitting on a piano bench at my Grandparents home. It brings back memories of my parents and grandparents. Sweet…
My favorite photo is one of my family on the beach at Lake Michigan. We all love Lake Michigan. It has become “our family place.” The picture was taken in the evening when the beach is virtually empty and it is so serene. I wish that we could spend every evening there.
There’s this photo of me and my two older bros when we were young, it’s rather iconic in our household! Now that we are all grown up – it’s nice to see how we were as kids
Thanks,
CS
It is hard to pick just one. It’s probably the one of my Grandad petting a horse. It was just a candid shot, but it reminds me of the days when he was healthy and happy. I miss him very much.
I have many favorites, but I love the photo of my daddy and me hugging in my great-grandparent’s yard the summer I was 7. He died of cancer when I was 8, so this is one of the last pics of us with him not walking with crutches, being in a wheelchair, or laying in bed. He had a great smile, and his sense of humor and outgoing personality was loved by all!
My favorite picture is of my only child, a son holding his son, the day he was born. He has Logan in his hands and their faces are so close, looking into each other’s eyes. Precious, precious picture.
This is a tough question – all family photos are special! I guess I would have to choose the photo taken about 10 years ago when my husband and I took our three sons and my oldest son’s girlfriend at the time on a cruise to celebrate our 30th Anniversary, my son’s (and his girlfriend’s) graduation from college and my youngest son’s graduation from high school. The photo is of the 6 of us at the base of the waterfalls in Jamaica – getting ready to climb up the falls. It was the absolute best time we have had, but the photo is bittersweet as the young lady lost her life in an accident a short time ago.
If we are on vacation, my husband and I take pictures of us in front of sights. You know this one hand stretched out and hope that you can be seen. LOL
We are often asked by people whether they should take a photo of us, but we always refuse. Because our photos are much funnier !
My favorite photograph – that is tough, I have so many favorites. From outside my family, is an old one of ayoung girl and boy holding hands walking into the woods -alone . There were so many stories surrounding this photo who really knows the truth. i have it framed and is signifies hope to me. of my family, its my son being held on one forearm of my husband as he fed him – the expression on my husbands face is priceless.
I hope it’s not a bit conceited to say my favorite photograph is of myself. I DO NOT like my picture to be taken, and in high school one of my friends needed pics for a photography class and started snapping away at our lunch table gang. Well, I tried to avoid the picture and my other friend held my face and I was trying to resist but he captured a true smile on my face, not a forced or fake one. It’s in black & white and is my favorite!
I can’t pick just one fave photo because I am a photo addict! Every photo reminds me of a great time with friends, family and loved ones. That’s what is so great about pictures…..they are suppose to be captured so when you look at the photo you are re-living that very moment!
Wow, hard question! I think I love every single picture ever taken – they all capture a special moment in time. I think of all the pictures of both of my grandfathers, who have since passed – truly treasures to look back on and have.
If I was to pick just one single picture, it would have to be a picture of myself when I was just a year or so old. It was at my Dad’s work Christmas party. They were trying to get me to sit on Santa’s knee. I was bawling and reaching out to my Dad trying to get away from the ‘crazy old man in red’!!!!!!
I took a candid shot of my 1 year old rubbing noses with his great grandma at his 1st birthday party. They are both wearing party hats and it is adorable!
Photo of my mother with my two boys. She passed away last summer and I truly treasure this photo.
My favorite photo is one I took on vacation in California . We were lost on our way to Venice beach and , early in the day, fog was think and the view was gorgeous. Each time I see the photo all those wonderful feelings come back.
My favorite photo of all time sits on my dresser where I see it first thing in the morning. It is a photo of my wedding nearly 50 years ago!It gives me great joy!
I have a photograph of me and my husband. My husband passed away a year and a half ago and that is the only professional photo of us together,
My favorite picture is of my daughter and son when they were around 3 and 6 years old. They are hugging each other and you can see their love for each other. They are now 23 and 26 and they are still very close.
It is a picture of my little girl when she was 18 months with the best smile on her sweet little face. It was taken on Easter morning as she was crawling to her Easter basket.
My favorite photo is of my daughter when she was one year old sitting in a field of dandelions, with a little bikini on and her feet stuck up on the air so the grass didn’t touch her!
Oh I have to say my favorite photo is of my grand children. My daughter surprised us one Christmas with the photo.
My favorite photo is a picture of my husband when he was 4 or 5 standing by his parents truck. He later bought that truck from his dad to drive around while he was a teenager. It was the same truck he picked me up for our first date in.
that is one hard question. I don’t think I could pick a favorite photo, but there is one photo of one of our cats that I love, because it is beautiful, and because it was one of the first photos I took with a DSLR camera. Thanks for the chance to win 🙂
My favorite photo is of my oldest daughter holding her little sister at the hospital after she was born. She was not quite two and it was such a cute picture.
My all time favorite photo hands down is of my father in Japan 1954 holding his leaher camera case while his friend took his picture with the Konica II 35mm camera he purchased while stationed in Japan In he Air Force. My dad took all of our family slide photos with that camera. I recently began scanning all of he slides on my computer and made shutterfly books for family members. I have that camera proudly displayed in my craft room to remind me of my dad and all of the fond memories of our family.
My favorite photo is one of me standing behind my grandma who was sitting, and my arms wrapped around her. She gave so much to us growing up; unconditional love, safety, affection. It shows how I felt about her, and still do even though she’s been gone for 17 years. I strive to be the grandma she was.
It’s a black and white photo of my grandmother taken when she was a young women . It is simply beautiful, her hair style, her outfit, her makeup, everything about the photo I love… A part of me wishes that I could have lived in those times!!!! Everything looks so elegant and the attention to detail was much more evident … Love it … Kat …
The photo of my husband and I on our wedding day sitting on the alter steps holding hands. Pictures were after the ceremony it was 100 with no air and we were hot and tired.
My favorite picture is of my son laughing happily and looking at his Toes in his diaper, it is precious to me as he is my first born and first grandson to my parents and my in laws.
The photo I have of the last time I spent with my Mom is a special one for me. So glad we spent that extra time at the last minute to take one last shot. I have that picture displayed on my kitchen hutch and feel like she is with me each day as I start each morning and end each night with a greeting just for her.
I have a set of photographs that my mom took as part of her master’s program. The are crisp and classic black and whites that remian modern today. I have them in my dining room.
My recent favorite picture is of my almost-2-year-old daughter in her frilly dress wearing her aunt’s sparkly hot pink Kate Spade’s at my sister’s wedding. Too precious!
My favorite picture is one of my daughter and me in the park behind her grade school. She is now 36 and I am – well much older also. She is looking up at me with this big smile on her face. I look and that picture and have the same reaction – the smile is on my face.
Thank you for the opportunity to share and to win.
My favorite photo is a family portrait when my girls were very young (they are all in their 20’s now) It was taken at Christmas time and all three are in matching red “drop drawer” pajamas. The expression on their faces is priceless…they all look like little elves awaiting Christmas eve!!
I have a photo of my baby granddaughter which I refer to as her “ET” picture. Her face is just visible peeking out from all the stuffed animals that surround her. It reminds me of a similar photo that I took of her mother at about the same age.
The best picture is of my paternal grandparents in front of their house-with their everyday clothes. It is the essence of them and their life on the farm!

My favorite photo is one of my mom and I when I’m about 3 moths old. she is holding me and I am holding on to her long ponytail. She is 22 in that photo and looks so young. I guess I have other favorites but that is my “favorite” favorite!
It is a photo of my great-grand-dad and me when I was about 3 years old. We are walking hand in hand. He was such a proud and impressing man and I wish I would know more about him. I never had the chance to get to know him better, because I didn’t understand Italian and he didn’t speak German. But the photo shows that we were able to communicate nevertheless.
I have a photo of our family on our vacation a few years back. We did the and above ground obstacle course (Wild Play) with zip lines, ropes, swinging bridges etc. and it was amazing! A totallyf fun, family outing! We stood as a foursome with our harnesses on and huge grins on our faces after we had completed the course (took 2 hours!). Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite all time photograph is the one with my husband, I am camera shy and do not like my photo to be taken, it is so rare that I want to be in the picture, so those with my husband are extremely precious to us!
My favorite picture is that of our daughter sitting on the couch relaxed and happy! Her innocence came through her smile! Truly a picture I look at often!
I have a picture of me and my husband sitting on a couch holding our son. It was taken at the adoption agency and we were smiling from ear to ear.We just became a family of three!!!
My favorite photo is of my wedding day, with my Dad standing the background holding umbrellas to keep the snow off my husband and I. He has the biggest grin on his face. I love to look at it often, because my Dad passed away last year and it is a great reminder of him.I sure do miss him tons!
My favorite photo of all time is one of those photo booth strip of photos of my husband and I. We made silly faces, kissed and just were overall happy. It was our first photos taken together from his deployment. Priceless!
I have a wonderful photo of my grown son when he was two years old. He is sitting on wooden steps at our friends’ lake cottage, wearing a yellow life jacket and a smile. His feet are in the air in his joy at being there. This photograph always makes me smile.
My favorite photo is the one that was taken of my two boys when my youngest was only 2 days old. I love the way my eldest is looking down at his brother. They love each other so much! So precious to me.
My favorite photo of all time would have to be of my husband and I on our wedding day. It was magical, and I always look at one particular photo and it brings me back to that day and the love we have for each other.
When my daughter was about 6 or 7 she had a tooth that refused to come out. We called it her snaggletooth. I have a picture of her playing in the surf on our family vacation, smiling from ear to ear with her snaggletooth fully exposed. She was so happy and having such a good time. It makes me happy every ime I look at that picture.
I have a photo of my Grandma and her twin, when they were about 13. It is so fun to try and remember who’s who! It’s extra special. I also have one of my Mom and her dog on the porch of their condo in Florida, both looking out at the ocean. Precious women, now in Heaven.
my children’s newborn pictures. i have two, a girl and a boy and their pictures when they were born they looked exactly alike. even now i still wonder how wonderful and miraculous birth is. so thankful God gave me my two precious gifts!
I have a photo of our sons taken when they were 3 and 5, about 23 years ago. It is with a white background and they have white turtlenecks on. They look so angelic and innocent at that moment! Their little freckles and big blue eyes with long lashes melt your heart just to see it. I remember, though, the meltdown they had just minutes before until I told them we’d be taking the turtlenecks off and heading off to TCBY just as soon as we got the photo. (and we did!)
My favorite is one of my husband and me on our wedding day. We both look so young, happy, and in love.
I laugh as I type this! My favorite photo has to be our Christmas picture of 2004. After church we asked some friends to take our picture on the site where our new house was to be built. It had rained so much that year which never happens in west Texas. We got stuck trying to get up the site. We hiked the rest of the way and were muddy from the waist down. Our daughter was 10 months old at the time. She was being uncooperative. Our picture was a waist-up shot since we were covered in mud and we are discreetly wrangling our cranky daughter. The picture cracks me up now that our house it built and we’ve lived here for 7 years. It hasn’t rained like that since!!!!
My favorite photo is the one I took when our big son (now 10) was 8 and finally got a brother, we had tried for 7 years without success so the smile of him holding his baby brother for the first time is precious.
My favorite photograph was taken several years ago at my parents house in Texas, and all 3 of my sons were there, my brother and my nephew. It’s a picture of the whole family.
Hard to pick my favorite. I have 2 pictures that I just love. The first is of my oldest son and me sitting in an orchard after an Easter egg hunt. He was probably 2 at the time. The other is of my youngest son when he was about a year old. He is sitting our beach just kind of playing with the rocks totally unaware of the camera. I guess they are special because they capture an average moment of our lives so beautifully. Feel bad I don’t have a favorite of my daughter, but the boys are harder to get good pictures of, so good ones stand out iin my memory.
I have an old photo of my sister and I when we were about 5 and 3. We are in bikinis with our childhood baby “rolls” showing in all their glory. I’m wearing knee highs with my bikini and my sister has on my grandmothers sun hat. It is a riot and helps remind me of the simple times and pleasures in life.
I have a photo of our daughter the summer she turned 6 years old. She is sitting on the end of the diving board over the pool wearing her bright floral swimsuit. The picture was taken when we walked up on the diving board & she turned around to look at us – the pool is behind her. She started giggling – it’s absolutely adorable! I smile every time I look at it because it captures her personality, her beautiful blue eyes and that summer perfectly – I love it!
My favorite photo is of my dad in his youth. He has on his air force uniform and he was so handsome! He also had black hair and lot of it. This is how he looked when my mom met him. By the time i was born he was all gray and close to bald. So interesting to see my brothers look like him in the photo. Glad that was captured for me during a time when not many photos were taken.
I have a photo of my boys that sets on my end table. They are 5 and 8 in the picture and are now soon to be 16 and 19. It is my favorite picture and I don’t ever want to take it down. Every time I look at it I am reminded of how adorable and special my boys are, no matter what their age!
My favorite photo is one that I recently took with my instax camera. It was of my mother, niece and nephew. I think the reason it is so sentimental to me is because it was taken the day I moved out of my moms house so when I look at that picture it brings back all the memories I have of living there and babysitting my niece and nephew. Plus my dog that passed away shortly after was captured in the background. So overall it has a lot of meaning to me for so many reasons.
Both pictures with my childeren when they were small..they way we look at eachother!
My favorite photo is a picture of my husband and I, (we were boyfriend and girlfriend at that time) at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas. He was in Army boot camp and his folks went down to see him and took me along. He did not know I was coming. Was he surprised! We have been happily married for 55 years.
It is really hard to nail it down to one when you have 2 children! I dearly love the pictures of my two daughters when they were first born! Of course, the ones of my 3 grandchildren are precious as well!
One of my favorite photos is of my great grandma, grandma, mom and me – 4 generations! It’s pretty special and I love it all the more now that my great grandma and grandma are no longer here.
The photos of both of my grandchildren on the days they were born are very precious to me.
Te photo that immediately comes to mind is of my daughter at the beach when she was 5. She has just turned to the camera with her very curly hair caught in the wind and a look of complete joy on her face.
My favorite picture is of my grandfather tending his orchids. He had quite a collection where he lived in Florida and loved to show them off!
My favorite photo is of my husband and me on an island in the Bahamas. It always brings back great memories. We had such a wonderful time — I would love to go back!
I have a 3-photo frame of some candid shots I took of my older son and husband playing together in the yard when he was about a year old. The shots came out so great!! I shocked myself! I love those pictures…time flies SO quickly when our babies are little!!!
My favorite photo of all time is my wedding photo. I’m so blessed to be married to my best friend for almost 30 years. I look back at the photo and am reminded that – at that time – being married for 30 years was inconceivable! Now, 2 of our children are married, and their wedding photos are ranking right up there with ours!
My favorite photograph is of my two kids. It is in black and white and their blue jeans are the only thing in color. They both looks so happy, I just love it!
I have a picture at my desk of my Dad at the age of 91 with all five of his grandsons. It was taken a year ago. Little did we know that would be the last time they would all be together as he passed away in February. It was a very special day for all of us.
I have a 4 generation picture with my parents, me, my daughter and my grand children. It is priceless

Gosh started to cry when I saw the question..just knew the picture in mind. A picture of my grandfather (Apa- as we called him). Any pic of him just bring on the tears from all his grand kids. He was a quite man..but when he spoke u better listen..words of wisdom. I so miss him..I even took a pic of an old man that looked like him at a ball game (his fave sport..he played basebal or 27 yrs)…I cried so much when I saw that old man…I’m crying now thinking about it..he even put his hand out to help me down the stands…gosh. cry cry…
My parent’s wedding photo. I love seeing how happy they were on that day. I know they are still as happy together in Heaven. Miss you Mom and Dad!
I have a photo of our two son’s 2 & 5yrs at the time, sitting in a radio flyer wagon with our rottweiler puppy. One of my favorites!
My oldest daughter holding her baby sister for the first time! It’s just so sweet.
the picture of me, my brother and older sister when i was about 5 and we’re all laughing (both of them have passed away); no…how about the picture of me as a baby in the arms of my father (who has also passed away); no… how about the picture of me and my husband on our wedding day coming back down the aisle newly married; the picture of my infant son (who didnt like to sleep) asleep most cosily on my shoulder; or the pic of the same son when he was almost 5 holding his newborn sister in his arms; or the picture of my daughter, when she was 4 (on the beach) holding up a shell to the camera with the most amazing smile on her face? I couldn’t possibly choose just one photo – I treasure so many because there are million memories attached to those moments in time of the ones I love.
Hands down a picture of me and my grandpa at the beach. Ok, not an actual beach but the driveway where he’d like to sit and people watch. He would always say “lets go sit on the beach!” It was one of those pics where we are both genuinely happy and enjoying the moment and it totally shows!
One of my favorite pictures is a picture of all of my siblings (8) and my parents that was taken at my brothers wedding. It is the only picture we have of everyone together!! We are scattered all of the country and very seldom do we all get together at the same time!
My favorite photograph is one of my family. We were all on vacation and we stopped by a beach and had our picture taken by a random stranger. We were all laughing as she took the picture and it captured the spirit and life of the moment so well.
My most precious photo is one of my father when he was 10 years old. He was the youngest of 10 children (he’s now 90!) and is the only sibling still alive. As photos were not as readily available in the 1930’s, it is the only one I have of him as a child. It is truly precious!
My favourite photo is of my Dad when he was about 18 years old. He was 48 when I was born and I was only given the photo a couple of years ago and it was the first time I had seen him as a young man so that is very precious to me.

I have so many favorite photos of my husband on our travel adventures, but on our last visit to see the grand kids, I took a picture of him and the 3 kids sitting on a park bench. My DH died six months later.
My favorite photo…that’s a tough one. I’d say it would be a close up photo of my son when he was about 3. It’s mostly his head and I ran an action on it to give it a soft focused look. The color of his red hair is really rich and we cut it short after that. He looked so sweet and innocent. Not like the troublemaker that he is now! LOL!
My favorite photo is of my Dad taken on Christmas morning when I was very young. Times were tough and he always provided for his family. The only gift he received that year was a homemade popcorn ball. You would have thought he had opened a package with a million dollars in it from his smile. I will always treasure the photo and remember it is family that makes Christmas special and not the amount of money spent on gifts.
My favorite photo is of my daughter on my chest just after she was born. It brings such a flood of emotion every time I see it. What a wonderful memory.
My favorite photo is of my sister, grandma and me. We are in the kitchen making dumplings and wearing aprons that my grandma hand-sewn for us. Seeing the photo reminds me of wonderful times we had together.
recently celebrated my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and in looking through photos came across and old family vacation pic. up in the rockies…all together…all smiling and happy…beautiful memories!!
We have a photo of my husband when he was around 4 wearing a cute handknit sweater his grandma made him, next to that photo in the frame is one we took of our first daughter wearing the same sweater when she was around the same age. Just such a nice reminder of things continuing.
When I think of my favorite photograph, an image of my two grandmothers comes to mind. When this picture was taken I was eleven, which would make them in their seventies. Sitting side by side at a birthday dinner; both knowing thier picture was being taken; thier personalities were captured in that photo. One had a huge smile on her face, nearly laughing; while the other had her arms crossed, and, staring indifferently off to the side, looked almost pouty. This picture is a constant reminder to me that we have the choice of how we look at any situaion; with a smile or a frown.
Well since my sons death this last January it’s been one of the last pictures taken of im smiling and happy. I have had more I can think of …but this one of my son will now always be my favorite!
My favourite photo has to be the one taken of my son in my arms about five minutes after he was born – absolutely precious!
My favorite picture is of my mom as a little girl. It is an old, fadded black and white of her curled up on the couch with a teddy bear. It’s so nostalgic and just precious.
The first one that comes to mind is one of my girls when my youngest was about 3 months old and my older daughter was 3-1/2. I had the baby laying on the floor under a play mobile and I was in the kitchen, when I heard my older daughter say “Look, Mommy!” I went into the living room and she had pulled her baby sister out from under the mobile and had lifted her into a sitting position in front of her with her arms wrapped around her. I wanted to be scared that she had done that, but instead I said “stay right there and don’t move” while I grabbed my camera. Those pictures that I took of them like that are SOOOOO cute! I love them to this day.
My favorite photo is a picture of my dad with his pet dog Mutt. It was done in black and white and later colored in with chalks. He was 3 years old so it dates back to the early 1920’s. I’m not sure when it was colored with chalks but it was a long time ago. Who knew that coloring a photo with chalks was done way back then and also done nowadays also.
gettin’ inky…
This is a hard question to answer. But after some contemplation I have to say that for now my favorite photo, in my possession, is of four generations of women in my family taken in 1892. In the picture is my great grandmother at the age of 5, my great great grandmother at the age of 25, my 3rd great grandmother at the age of 49, and my 4th great grandmother at the age of 76. It is a sepia photo and looks like it was taken in the small house, probably my 2nd gg’s. There is flowered wallpaper and something handmade hanging on the wall behind them. They look like they have made it through some tough times. To think that the oldest two lived through the Civil war. It is special to me because it links me with my ancestors and where i come from, and because it has survived 120 years, and reflects almost 200 years into the past.
My favorite photo is one of my mother in the 60’s in her nurse’s uniform. She was beautifully put together, from her hair- neatly pulled back, to her makeup and her freshly pressed and polished uniform. It shows how much pride she took not only in her professional appearance, but in her chosen career and accomplishments. The best thing about the photo, though, is that she has a quirky, curious smile on her face and her hand up to her chin. It shows her silly side!!
A picture of my sister and I with my grandma.
She’s 93 now and each year as she gets older and her health declines, I’m so glad we have a great photo of us together to remember her by
My favorite photo of all time is a picture I took of my son and husband walking hand in hand in front of me down a dirt path with trees lined on either side and their branches intertwined overhead. It is one of the sweetest pictures I’ve ever taken!
A picture of my brothers and I in front of our house.
I have many special photos – one of my favorites is of my two daughters at the beach in Florida. They are putting their toes in the water and the waves are breaking towards the shore. Every time I look at the photo, it makes me smile – it brings back many wonderful memories of when they were small.
My favorite picture is one I took of my Dad holding his great grandson’s finger. I took it only of the hands and it just tells of all the years between the two b
A photo of my hubby & I dancing at our wedding about 4 years ago is one of my favorites. You can only see the back of me, but the way my hubby is gazing at me is just priceless. There is no doubt that he loves me and thinks the world of me. I still can’t believe how lucky I am to find someone who loves me as much as he does. The picture also brings back so many wonderful memories of our wonderful wedding day!!
I love taking pictures and have many favorites. Hmmm…there is a picture of my brother and puppy sitting together on a patio swing.
My favorite would have to be a picture of my family sitting on my grandmothers couch at Christmas time!
My favorite photo is a sweet little picture of my daughter age 1.5 with a cute white hat against a white picket fence. Way too cute for words.
My favorite photograph is one of three of my sons when they were little. The lighting and angle of their faces makes it appear that they are looking up to the heavens. It is all sweetness and innocence.
There is a picture of my mom and I, where she is helping zip up a white jacket when I was around 2. I love that picture.
The photo I treasure most is of my mother holding me near Kingston, Rhode Island where I was born. The photo now hangs on my son’s wall; the grandmother he never met. She died of breast cancer when I was 11.
My favorite picture is not of a person, but a poppy. My father took this picture when he was in his 80’s and just starting out with a digital camera after a life using non-digital cameras. He worked in a number-crunching business that required using the computer, and was missing its presence in his life. I talked him into having a very good digital camera, which did not appeal to him at first. It was a birthday present so he accepted the gift. Armed with that camera, and Photoshop, he has produced the most fabulous photos in his life. At 92 years old he still works away at it, just a bit more slowly. Sometimes what an old dog needs IS a new trick. It certainly has changed my father’s retirement years, and will leave me with beautiful pictures and memories one day, when I no longer have him.
I have a picture of my two girls right after my youngest was born. The baby is laying on her tummy looking at the camera and my oldest is kneeling down giving her little sister a kiss on the head. Since they are rarely that sweet to each other these days I love looking at that one hoping they will get there again someday as they get older! Thank you for the chance to win!
It’s a silhouette photo of hubby, myself, and my 2 kids taken at Koolina (Oahu) during sunset. The clouds, the ocean and a view of a coconut tree are in the backdrop. We have since updated our silhouette photo because we now have 3 kids! Have to get that one printed and framed! 🙂
Absolutely, my favorite is the one of my husband holding our newborn daughter. He looks happier than I’ve ever seen him.
The engagement photo of myself and my husband. Every time I look at it I remember how young we were and how excited we were for the adventure we were taking.
A family photo taken during Christmas of 2007. My parents divorced the following year, so now Christmas is more split up and not like it used to be. I remember the happy times we had all together when I see that photo.
My favorite photograph is one in which our daughter is being handed our only grandchild, her newborn son. It is special to me because it is my precious daughter experiencing the joy I felt when she was handed to me. It is right after his birth and the look in her eyes is full of love and wonder. Our sweet son-in-law is looking on the scene with that same love, and pride. It is priceless.
It’s a portrait I took of my husband. He hates having his picture taken. I tolk him to look at me like he loves me…hehe. He instantly relaxed and got the cutest smile on his face.
One of my favorite photos is of my sister and me sitting if front of our Christmas tree holding our Betsy Wetsy dolls. (It would have been the late 40 ‘s) I remember a beautiful Christmas tree, but the photo shows an ugly Charlie Brown tree…It’s amazing how our memories change the reality.
My favorite photo is of my husband and son. They were walking ahead of me on a trail and I snapped their picture from behind. They were in unison with their step and lifting their same foot at the same time. My son was only three or four at the time and boy did he resemble dad there.
My favorite photograph is the last professional photo taken of my son, Benjamin just months before he passed away. It is his kindergarten school picture. His wonderful, warm smile is shining through and it is a daily reminder to me of the happy and active little boy that he was. It brings back so many precious and warm memories that live forever in my heart.
My favorite photo is of my sister’s wedding with both sets of our grandparents in the picture. They are all in heaven now, and I love to look at that picture and remember them.
My favorite photo is one of me and my son (4 yrs. old) sliding down a grassy hill at a preschool picnic. We both had a great time sliding and laughed all the way down (I was the only parent who took a “ride” down the hill…woo hoo!). This picture reminds me of the happy moments we shared (he’s 22 yrs. old now) and always puts a smile on my face.
I have a picture of my daughter when she was five holding her one month old baby brother. It’s just so precious – just makes me smile.
I have too many to pick just one. I love the ones of my son as a toddler best. He has one where he is so tiny but looks somatire with his glasses. He poses like that now but in a much bigger size!
Over the years I have taken many photos of my 2 girls but my favorite one is a photo taken of them having a tea party when they were both little. It was probably taken with a disposable camera but I love it to this day. They were dressed in their pj’s and siting there eating vanilla wafers and drinking from tea cups..I still like to look at it. It brings back memories….
There are many but to if I had to choose one it would be my parents picture when they were dating. So young & carefree, handsome & beautiful, there whole life ahead of them. Still together after 55 years with an amazing love of family which they have instilled in us. We are so blessed to still have them in our lives & cherish every moment with them.
I just had this conversation with my husband this week, so funny! The picture that we took for my daughter’s birth announcement is my favorite picture. It is her, just a few days old, with my 2 sons who were 3 and 5. It is the sweetest picture of the 3 of them, one of the first pictures of the 3 of them, and so special because our family was complete with her in it. I have a copy sitting on my desk right next to me now. 🙂
Mine is a photo of me and my mother on the last big overseas trip we took together before she passed away. We visited all Mum’s favourite childhood places and the photo shows us laughing and relaxing, taking in all the sights. It brings back such wonderful memories of all the good times we shared.
A close-up pic of my Dad’s face on the beach with a reflection of my Mom in his sunglasses. It was taken in the 1960’s and is just a classic, wonderful picture. I sure do miss them.
My very favorite photo is one of my son taken about a year ago when he was two. He is sitting on our front porch watching the rain fall and daydreaming. He is dressed in his raincoat and boots, and you just know that he is waiting for a break in the rain to go splash some puddles. I just think he looks so sweet in his own little world.
Mine is our first photo as a family of four! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my grandma and I at Christmas in the early 1980’s. We are exchanging a gift in the photo. My grandma had that photo framed and placed in her front entry way until she passed away a few years ago. I now have it in my front entryway so I see it everytime I come home.
It’s so interesting reading the comments. They’re so sentimental and often unexpected, usually just a quick but everlasting precious moment. When I was a toddler I was very sick and, considering that my parents are still trying to hide any trace of that, I hardly have any baby pictures. I have this one baby picture, when I’m about 10 months old, with pudgy cheeks and a double chin, fine, straight hair perfectly side-swept, navy jumper and light blue shirt with frilly lace collar, tiny bubbles on the tip of my tongue.I am not smiling and I’m looking straight at the camera with wide open eyes. There is something about my intense, direct gaze that characterizes who I am till this day.
My favorite photograph is of me running across the finish line at a race. It’s a constant daily reminder that i can do anything in life – I just have to believe in myself more!
last week i made a beautiful picture of my tiny little girl on the beach, sitting in the sand. She looks so pretty and sweet! one year ago she was born at 1,5 kilograms and i could’t imagine then that she would be so strong and healthy today! i an truely blessed and this picture reinds me of that.
My favorite photograph is of my sister and me. I was 5, she was an infant with peach fuzz. Mom placed her in my bed for the photo with these totally 70s sheets that were hot pink, live and orange and you could see the ugly circus wallpaper in the background and my sister and I are just smiling away right in the middle… we do not get along very well now, so this picture of us both smiling together is one I will always cherish. Thanks for the chance to win!!
I have this beautiful picture of my daughter on a beach on Oahu, I took it from behind her with her looking at the ocean sitting down holding her hat with one hand from blowing away in the breeze. The contrast of the turquoise water, the gold sand, her pink hat and bathing suit is breathtaking, she looks like a real bathing beauty! It will always be one of my favorite shots!
Oh gosh, that’s so hard to just pick one. I guess I like looking at pictures of when I was younger. It was such a carefree world then – no worries about anything! How things change as you get older.
My favorite photo is a photo of my brother and I acting goofy with my grandfather one Christmas…
It makes me smile every single time I see it….
It’s so difficult to pick just one, but I have a black & white photo of my mom when she was a toddler looking into a mirror so it shows her profile & reflection. Her precious golden girls are so sweet and I can see a little bit of each of my three daughters in her sweet cherub face.
My favorite picture is the happy wedding pix of my Mom and Dad that I see every night when I tuck my mom in, now that she is sick and my Dad is gone.
To celbrate my retirement, I took my whole family to Disney World. I have a picture of my grandson (6 at the time) at the Hoop Dee Do Review with just the biggest smile on his face. Any time I feel a bit down, I can look at his face and feel so much better.
There are so many! The first one that comes to mind is an old one of three of my brothers pretending to be ‘hardy’ lumberjacks! 😉
It is a photo of me and my mom and we are wearing matching dresses that she made us for Easter. It is in my grandparents front yard. It reminds me of all the good times I had growing up with my family.
After 28 years it is still the same photo. It is of my husband and myself on our wedding day. It was our first dance. We look so young and in love and after 28 years we still feel that same way!
I have lots of favorite photos, but if I had to choose just one it would be the picture of my husband, myself and our daughter, we were at a friends wedding and she was about 8 years old and someone was taking a picture of my husband and myself and our daughter ran up at the last minute and threw her arms around the backs of our necks where we were sitting and placed herself between us and we all smiled, happy as can be and the picture was snapped and turned out great.
My favorite photo is that of my son, jumping into our fishpond with a big grin on this face.
Pure joy on his little face….afterwards I wondered that none of the fish died having a heart-attack :-)).
My favorite picture is one that was taken at my wedding last year of my new husband and myself not looking at the camera, but just giving each other a kiss with a lake in the background.
My favorite is a photo from our wedding….we are leaving our reception, walking away from thr photographer and we have stopped to look back over our shoulders. We looked so happy and ready to embark on our new life together!
Honestly you have the best DT in the industry. Every creation is fabulous. My favorite photo is a woman in child sitting in a doorway during the during the great depression. I do not know the photographer’s name but it reminds me how fortunate I am and how easy it would be to be her. It also reminds me that helping people is such a small thing to do and it may make their lives better.
This is a tough question! I think my favorite photo is a shot of myself, my husband (though he wasn’t at the time!) & several of our best friends on a road trip we took together that marked the start of our romantic relationship. It was such a happy, free time of our lives & we were falling in love & the photo captures a moment that encapsulates the whole trip.
One of my favorite pictures is of my granddaughter taken last month when she was staying with us. We were at a zoo where you can be right with the animals. She adores animals and we have several pictures of her holding and feeding the ring tailed
lemurs. She has such a smile on her face.
My favorite photo is one of my daughter. She was just a toddler and she was playing in the mud, wearing white tights and a pink skirt!
Its a family photo of my 3 girls, their 3 husbands and my 7 grandchildren — it was hilarious trying to get all the kids smiling and not looking like they were being tortured!
It’s hard for me to pick just one fave…my absolute favorites are the goofy/stupid pictures my husband and I took together when we were dating in college. Such fun memories!
My favorite photo of all time would have to be one taken at our wedding- it’s a candid shot that was taken between our “official pictures”. We’re both cracking each other up, giddy with happiness. It looks so effortless and natural and captured the moment of that night.
A photo of my youngest son and I sitting on the grass in the sun – he is looking up at me (he was around 2 at the time) and I’m looking down at him, and I love the way we are smiling at each other… it makes me smile every time I look at it!
Great release this month, well done. I can’t say I have a favourite photograph! They are all special, from the first of my family ones of my great grandmother holding her eldest great grand daughter (my sister) with my mother and grand mother, my parents, siblings and I at picnics and other special events growing up, and now the thousands of memories of my own four very special children and my husband, friends, places and animals. How remarkably evocative they all are. How lucky we are to be able to capture those special moments in time in photography.
I have a photo of my son the first day he was born that he smiles sweetly!! He’s been such a happy, smiling boy ever since!!! I melt whenever I look at his pic!!!
My favorite photo is one of my Mom and I at the beach when I was a baby. It is one of the only photos of her and I together and in fact, we like it so much that we used it on our business website (real estate) to introduce people to our mother-daughter sales team. You can see it (if you care to) at http://www.scottbullerteam.com/about_our_team/
Hmmmmmm…. have to think. Well, I think it will be the photo of all the family taken at my parents’ 50th anniversary celebration! Everyone was smiling so nicely! We used it on the back of the family cookbook we published.
My favorite photo is of me and my Dad when I was about 8 years old. We are standing in front of the church bus which he drove every summer to take kids to summer camp. He called me his “right-hand gal”, and made me feel so important and cherished, even though my role was to sweep out the bus at the end of trip home. That photo sits in a place of honor in my home, and it still makes me smile every time I see it – the two of us with our horn-rimmed glasses and long skinny legs – and I smile because it reminds me of how much I am loved.
I have my Mom’s baby picture sitting on an easel frame on my headboard. It helps remind me, that even though she is gone, she watches over me!! I lost my mom when she was 42 of ovarian cancer. It will be 38 years on Wednesday 7/17/12.
I have an old black and white photo of my grandpa sitting in a lawn chair outside with his coffee in one hand and his Bible on his lap that he’s reading. He looks so content and it just represents the amazing and peaceful man that he was.
One of my favorite photos is one with my grandmother holding me as a little girl!! My grandmother is not with us anymore that’s one reason I cherish this photo….
We recently came across pictures of my mom, her sisters and her parents from when she was little (in the 50’s). Her parents both died when she was a little girl, so I never got to meet them. But having these pictures after all these years is even more special knowing how much they mean to my mom and her youngest sister, who doesn’t even remember their parents.
There are so many! But if I had to pick one, I’d have to say the 1970’s Christmas picture with my parents. Of course we were in our 1970’s finest….my dad in plaid pants, my mom in a plaid dress, and me in a corduroy dress. My dad set the timer and after a couple tries we got just the right shot. And afterwards? Went the Blue Coat Inn for dinner. What memories!
My favorite picture is the first picture of my husband and I on the cruise where we met. At that time, I had no idea we would be married two years later.
This is a hard one. I love looking back at all the pics of my children as they were growing up. It brings back so many precious memories….
My favorite photo is of my sister and me standing on either side of my mother when we were around 4 or 5. We were on my grandmother’s porch so I assume my grandmother took this picture. My mother passed away in 96 and she rarely took pictures of us growing up, so I have this photograph and about 2 others that actually have me in the picture with my mother, so I cherish this picture.
My favorite picture is one of both of my boys at an apple orchard that was taken 12 yrs ago. The cora are crisp and you can almost smell the cobbler baking!
I think my favorite is one of my daughter and I sharing an apple. She was about1 1/2 yrs old and still chubby cheeked, and we are both biting into the apple at the same time with smiles on our faces. It just captures the love I feel for her and a happy, blissful moment!
My favorite picture of all time is one of my mom with my sister and I when we were little. We all look SO happy together and back then that wasn’t always the case. That photo stood on my Granny’s dresser for a great many years and when she passed away, it was handed down to me. I trasure it so much…
a photo of my hubby and I right after we were pronounced married. I punched my bouquet in the air and we just look so happy – I remember that elated feeling every time I look at the photo.
It was a picture taken at my wedding reception. There was a fountain out in front of the venue and I stood there, in my gown and veil, and dipped my foot into the pool at the bottom of the fountain…
My favorite picture is one of my parents when they were first married. My father passed away when I was very young, so most of what I remember about him is from pictures. Pictures are a special way to keep memories alive!
My favorite photograph is of my grandparents on their farm in Iowa. The old red barn was in the background while they walked up the grassy yard by the flagpole. What makes this photo my absolute favorite is that they were holding hands and smiling. I am always reminded how happy they were after almost 70 years of marriage. They have since passed on, but the photo is a symbol of the blessings of love, not to mention all that they brought to this world. They were two of my favorite people and I miss them dearly.
My favorite photograph of all time is one hanging in our bedroom of our family when the kids were little. It brings back precious memories of a cherished time in our lives.
I hate to chose between my kiddos pictures. However, I have a special place for a photo of my husband, my 2 week old (at the time) son and I in a “kangaroo” moment in the NICU. The photo has a special glow around of us.
My favorite photo of me is when I was 5. I covered myself with lion king stickers. It hurt afterwards haha.
My favorite photo is one of my parents, so happy to have it as they are both gone now. I miss them so much.
My favorite photo is of my son while we were on a road trip. Although he was young n the photo, I didn’t know at the time that the clothes and pose totally captured his true personality to this day, and I love the photo and him so very much!
I took a picture of my youngest daughter about 8 years ago which I just love. We were on vacation and visiting a country western attracting, she was about 6 years old. She had on a cute cowgirl hat and while riding a horse drawn wagon I caught a great shot of her from behind with her pretty little braid peaking out from under her cowgirl hat. It was such a happy day and brings back such happy memories when I look at that picture. I had it blown up to 8×10 I love it so much.
There is Polaroid of my Mom and Grandmother in her kitchen that I always think of when I think of my grandmother. They were so close, always doing things together and that is how my mom and I are.
My favorite picture is of my mom, dad, sister and I and it had to be Easter because it is the one and only time I have ever worn a hat and I was not happy about it! But everytime I see it I have to laugh. I always wondered why I hated hats… LOL!
I have a picture of my sister and I down on our small farm in the 50’s. It is a hot summer day and she and I are standing outside our milkhouse by the barn. She is 5 and just has on underpants and her sunbonnet and I am 8 and have on a sundress and my sunbonnet. We are barefooted. I look at that picture and smile because it just exemplifies life in the 50’s for us as I remember it.
That is such a hard question…I have so many that I love. I think my favorite one is of my parents and me in England in front of a red, ivy wall. It was towards the end of our trip and it reminds me of what a great time we had. Besides…it’s a great photo. 🙂
One would be one of my wedding photos when we were leaving with rice throwing, seeing our friends around us and the two of us laughing it was the end of a beautiful night.
My favorite photo is from my wedding, both my grandparents have passed away and I had their photos on charms on my bouquet, my photographer took a photo og the bouquet underneath a stained glass window that says in memory…one of my favorites of the day
My favorite photo is a picture of my brother and his bride coming out of the church and catching them in an engaging kiss. It was elegant, clear, and perfection ! Although they had a professional photographer for the event, the picture I took is prominately displayed in above their fireplace in their family room – and at an 16*20 size. I knew when I took the photo, that was the best photo I had ever taken.
I don’t have just one favorite photo, I have a fridge full of photos – cousins, siblings and friends! I love seeing the faces of the people I love and have pictures everywhere in my house! 🙂
One of my all time favorites would be of my husband daughter and I at my brothers wedding. She was 9 months old, so cute!! And it just shows our delight on our little family.
My favorite photo of all time is the one of me on the day my parents adopted me. I was just three years old and looked very shy. I am in a blue dress, complete with a white hat and holding a plastic donkey. On that day, I was the luckiest little girl alive. Thanks, Teresa K.
My favorite photo is of my Grandson.
It was a sad time in our lives and He was sleeping so peaceful. The photo didn’t even need to be edited!
The color was perfect , the lighting was just right and the rosy cheeks were also just right.
My favorite photo of all time is one of my parents dressed in black tie. My mom has on a this gorgeous black dress and my dad is in a Tux. My mom was about 5 feet tall and my dad was a bit over 6 feet and she is looking up at his face smiling. I see the love on her face for my dad and my dad is smiling too.
Like an earlier commenter, I lost my dad at a very early age. My favorite photo is of my parents on the deck of an ocean liner in the middle of the Atlantic, just a couple months before his death. The photo sits on my desk and I smile back at the two of them every time I see it.
Oh wow, this is hard. I don’t think I can pick just one! One of my favorites is a picture of my dad and my nephew, who has his arm wrapped around ‘Papaw’s’ neck and looking up at him like he’s the best. Another is picture of my kids when they were young – I had their picture made together every year and it was hard ‘wrangling’ three boys to look at the camera at the same time and smile. I promised them if they took a ‘serious’ picture, then they could goof off for one – well, they took my up on it and the picture is priceless – wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world!
I have the anniversary photo of my great grandparents. I love that picture. They are sitting on an old fashioned chair with the crochet doilies. When I see it I know where I have come from.
I have so many favourite photos! Amongst the very favourite is a portrait of my husband, my eldest daughter, and me at about 6 months pregnant awaiting the arrival of our youngest. I can still feel the happiness and expectation. 🙂
A picture of my daughters and me in Tahiti!
My favorite photo is a picture of my husband holding our first-born grandchild (and only grandson) for the first time. You can just see the beautiful bond that formed immediately. This grandson graduated from high school this past spring and is, and always will be, the light of our lives.
My favorite picture is one of my Mom and Dad, my 3 sisters and myself. It was taken at a party we had for them for their 50th wedding anniversary. The picture was taken in Sept. and my Dad died a short time later, in February. He was so very happy at the party to have all “his girls” together.
I don’t have a single photograph that I love the most. I do, however, treasure any photos that have my mom or grandparents in them. I miss them much and it makes me happy to remember times with them through photographs. 🙂
it’s definately a toss-up between one of my wedding photos (just got married in march!) and one of me and my best friend on the way to a concert. the wedding one has obvious reasons, but the concert one makes me think of more carefree days!
I have a photo of myself and my husband together when we were walking down the trail from Mt Everest, even though we didn’t make it to Base Camp it is a memory of the most wonderful adventure!
My favorite photo is actually a drawn picture of my boyfriend and I. It is one of those character pictures and I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan. So of course, the theme of the photo was Beauty and the Beast. It turned out better than what I expected!
My favorite photo is one of my Mum and Dad at my sister’s graduation. She’s hugely pregnant in the pic and they all look so happy and proud, but unfortunately Dad died shortly after and never got to meet his first grandson. The pic now sits pride of place in my living room. Great memories.
I think my favorite photo is of my son when they first layed him in my arms. He looked up at me and smiled and my husband just happened to click the camera at that moment. That was 22 years ago and the boy now makes ME smile.
A little black and white photograph of my Mom holding me, all of 3 months old. Special to me as Mom died of breast cancer just when I was of an age to understand the look on her face as she gazed at me. Only becoming a mother myself gave me insight to those special feelings she showed in that look.
This is a tough one! Probably one of the first pictures of my niece. Although I do have a good picture of my childhood dogs. Thanks for the change to win!
I LOVE looking back on the family Christmas photos where the camera was set on auto mode so we all could be in the photo just before we open the gifts….no make-up, pj’s on, and one big smile !!!!
One of my most cherished pictures is of my family when we were celebrating Father’s Day. My Dad lived and worked until his death at 89.
My siblings and I had a photo taken of all of us for a special birthday, for our mother. It was the first time we had all been together in a quite a while, and whenever I see it, it brings back fond memories of then and childhood.
My favorite photo is one of me and my oldest grand daughter when she was one… we both look so happy and she was just amazingly gorgeous dressed as a princess!! She just turned 9…. my daughter’s favorite picture too!
My favorite photo is of my daugter Molly at the age of 21 months. It is a head shot, in costume, for the Lamb’s Players Theatre Festival of Christmas, 1988. She is about to cry, but doesn’t look it; I only know because I was standing next to her…
My favorite photo is one of my brother sharing his popsicle with me when we were younger. He was always too cool for his little sister growing up. But this shows how much he cares and loves for me.
My favorite photograph is one that was snapped right as my husband and I were presented as Mr. and Mrs. ________. We both were looking at each other with these excited, amazed, loving smiles that just screamed “We did it. We are married. We are together. Forever. I love you.” Will cherish it forever—especially because it’s so candid and real.
Wow! so difficult to pick just one!
I think it might be the pic of the kids on the beach…such a great trip…happy times after a difficult loss. But, the pics of the grandparents always bring a smile…good memories and great people!
Thanks for a great release!
A photo of my mother holding my niece Sarah when she was a baby. They are both laughing and beautiful. We lost her to pancreatic cancer, but I can remember how vibrant and lovely and full of charisma she was when she was healthy. It helps be to get beyond the horrific memories of her illness. I love her so!
My favorite photograph of all time is one I took of my girls on vacation 2 years ago. They were walking hand in hand, wearing pink cowgirl hats…I took the picture from behind. The photo just brings me hope to think years from now they will just as close as they were that day. Love, at it’s best.
My dad passed away when I was a child and he was camera shy so there are few photos of him. My favorite is one with my little sister and I sitting on his lap and we are all smiling. It is very precious to me.
My favorite photo is a picture of my grandpa playing on the floor with my 5 year olf son on Christmas morning! My grandpa has since passed but I know that I will have that memory and picture of him and my son forever!
I have many photos. But one that stands out at the moment is a holiday snap of my husband and 2 daughters sitting beside a lovely lake.
My most favourite photo is one of our three children all together on a blanket. The 4- an 6-year old on each side of the newborn baby sister and both looking in awe, the baby happily enjoying the secure feeling in the middle. It shows so much peace and loving and though the youngest has just turned 16, they still get along well and have respect for each other.
Greetings, Christine
It is a photo of my older brother and I on the first day of school. We were going into 5th and 7th grade. It has a very happy memory for me and is to typical of the time it was taken.
My favorite photo is of my sons when they were little, picking apples at my mom and dad’s house years ago. The “little” boys are now 27 and 24. It just reminds me of simpler times doing the simple things of life. Their cute facial expressions make it priceless too.
I have a photo of my husband in the mist at Machu Picchu. We got up early to see the sunrise, it was totally fogged in. We had split up inside the Citadel and I went off to one side. When I was coming back I saw him across the way, at the edge of a set of stone steps, and snapped his picture. It was a fun surprise to show him when we met back at the hotel for breakfast.
My favorite photo is one of my dad sitting on the floor in an empty office with the happiest smile on his face. It was two years later that I lost him to leukemia, but his expression was so him, it makes me smile to this day.
My favorite photo is of my grandmother at her house. The house is not here anymore nor is my grandmother, but the photo takes me back every time I see it.
My favorite photo, wow, that is a hard one! I have one that I treasure that is of my Grandpa as a little kid and his brother, sitting in an old wagon wearing their old clothes and hats. It is so adorable! I love my Grandpa so much so this one is very special!
My favourite photo was one with my father and my daughter shortly before he died. They were arm in arm and dad looked so healthy and happy.
My favorite photo is of my dad holding my daughter when she was about 9 months old. I had health problems when she was born and he helped take care of her those first few months. I love how it shows their special relationship.
It is hard to just choose one. So many hold different and important stories for me. That being said I will choose ONE of my favorites. It is a picture of me and my uncle because we were both red-heads and the running joke in our family was that I was his child b/c he never had a kid with red hair and neither of my parents have red hair 🙂
I’ve spent the last 2hrs trying to figure out which is my favorite photo and I can’t pick one. I have several photos that I love: a photo of my parent’s wedding where you can see the sparkle in their eyes, a photo of my grandmother at her 100th birthday when she’s smiling with the joy of a child, a photo of my two little neices hugging and laughing, like lifelong friends and their only 3 and 5yrs old, a photo of my family where we are all laughing so hard that are faces look funny, but it is so us. Each of these photos and many others conjure up an instant sense of joy and love and remind me how very blessed my life has been.
I have a photo that was done by a local photographer of my son when he was around 9 months old. He was sitting in a foot tub with a wash cloth hanging on the side and a rubber duck in front of it, he looked like he was taking a bath. The cute part of it was he is pointing to his arm like he’s saying “You missed a spot”. This will always be my favorite photo of him.
We bought a fancy Polaroid camera when I was about 12 or 13 years old. The demo shot is my sister and me – she is totally sweet and happy and I am the most skeptical face ever! LOVE that shot.
Interesting question, well my answer is a bit funny, my fav photograph is a one I took when I first bought my DSLR, me and DH were resting on a couch and I took picture of our feet, I just love this pic!
My Favorite photo is of my favorite vacation. We went to Utah in our old, old trailer and we saw places and things we never saw. I have this one photo of the area we were in, even though everything went wrong, such as a blow out in the tire, losing our ATM card, running out of gas, the photo just brings back the wonderful things of the trip
I love a family photo we had taken and both our boys are wearing Liderhosen(sp.?) that were my brother’s and cute little sandals. They are SO darling and young! The colors are earthy browns, greens, greys and faded blue jeans on DH. I like that we are all in it and look relaxed and happy.
My favourite photograph is one of my kids. It was taken on one of our family holidays and the kids were sitting on some stairs. I took the photograph through the stairs looking up at them. They are both smiling with there heads together. I have it in a frame that says friends.
I feel warm and grateful every time I see the photo we took on Mothers Day with my family. We all look so happy, my mom is simply glowing. I had it developed on a huge canvas and gave it as a gift to my parents.
My favorite photo is a picture of my daughter in Greece. She is sitting in a beach chair looking out at the water . It is perfect and I just love it!
My favourite photo is of my two children when they were little…… the caring big sister and her little brother. Photos bring back a flood of memories that you always want to treasure.
My favorite photo is a formal portrait that a photographer friend of mine took of my mother and I. It’s even more special now that she is gone.
I have a picture of my oldest son wearing a kilt passed down from his Great-grandfather. I also have a picture of great-grandfather wearing the same kilt so many years ago. So cute!
Linda
The photo of my daughter taken a few hours after she was born – so sweet, and looking at it takes me back to that wonder and joy we felt.
I have a photo of my little niece when she was 4. She has the cutest pony tails and I caught her dancing with her head tilted to one side in the shot. The reason I love it is because she looks exactly like my twin sister when she was that age! (We are obviously not identical – you can tell we are sisters and that’s about it.) It is the cutest ever!
One of my all time favorite photos is one I took of my over 6′ tall brother walking away from me holding the hand of his 2 yr old grandson. It was definitely the tall and the short of it!! My brother has since passed away and the grandson is now a over 6′ tall parent of a 2 yr old boy himself. Photos and memories I wouldn’t take a million dollars for!!
I have a photo of my mom and dad taken at my brother’s wedding the year before my dad passed away. They were so happy together, and I’ll always remember them that way. I also love every photo taken of my children.
My favorite photo would have to be our 3 children and I on the USS Milwaukee, greeting my hubby (their dad) after not seeing him for SIX months. His ship had just returned from a Med. cruise deployment. Watching the ship slowly pull into the pier and then seeing him for the first time is an undescrible experience. This photo (taken by the ship’s photographer) captures that moment perfectly!
a pic of my husband and i standing in a stream in the Smoky Mtns. we had brought his little sister along, and she took the pic. we pulled over to the side of the road, on the way down from Pike’s Peak, and decided to hike around the stream, see what temp the water was, and just play. it was a fun day!
My favorite photograph is one that always makes me smile. It is of my husband when he was about 4 years old sitting on the grass and surrounded by 3 beagle puppies. My husband is expressing pure delight and the puppies look so happy with him too! Oh, the joys of puppy therapy! It’s almost like I am experiencing it looking at the photo!
That is really hard to say. My Dad was into photography in his late teens and beyond (starting in the mid-40’s). The are great shots a his family back then (oh, the fashions!). There are shots in took in Korea during the war. Some of my older brothers as babies. All those shots at family reunions that you now really enjoy looking at, trying to figure out who’s who.
Current favs are of some of Chicago that I took when my sister were there 2 yrs ago for CHA–great architecture. And some colorful pics I took of the wonderful glass sculptures of when there was a tremendous exhibit at Cheekwood.
Photographs are such great treasure keepers!
My parents have an 8×10 black and white photograph of me from when I was about one year old. They do not have a tremendous amount of baby photos of me so this photo is very special to me. My husband used this photo on my shower cake when I was expecting my first child. I just love the close up on my little baby face!
26AUG2002 – my son’s first day or Kindergarten and my daughter’s first day of second grade. They are walking hand-in-hand through the fog to the bus stop. Neither of them knows yet that my mother died 25 minutes earlier that same morning (we waited until after school to tell them that Grandma Carole was gone). The picture reminds me that no matter how terrible and heartbreaking a day may be, there is still love, innocence, and joy all around us
The photo I treasure is one my sister in law took of my son and I dancing at his wedding. My baby boy has grown into a very special man ~ but he’ll ALWAYS be my baby boy!
One of my favourite photographs that makes me smile (well outright giggle, to be honest), is one where my daughter dressed herself. Tartan dress, flowery shorts, yellow wellies and a striped sun-visor 😀
I have a beautiful black & white photo of the Cliffs of Moher on my wall. It’s special as it’s where my hubby proposed 🙂
My favorite photo is of my almost three year old granddaughter. She is kneeling and facing toward the back of a leather chair. She has her mouth on the back of the chair with her little toddler fingers on either side of her cheeks holding on to the back of the chair. She is looking up with the biggest, brown eyes. I had it made into a 16 x 24 print and it hangs in my office, where I see it every day. It melts my heart every time I look at it.
My favorite photograghs are close ups of my sons when they were about 3 months old. So much detail and expression in those 2 pictures.
Mine is a picture of my nieces and nephews when they were young…all wearing sunglasses and givin some attitude!!
My favorite photo is of my two niece’s in a little race car in Disney World. The 11 year old was driving and the 8 year old was the passenger. We had been at the beach earlier in the day. The younger one had a pony tail that was so stiff from salt water, that the wind from the speed of the race cars made it stick out straight back. It’s not as cute “in writing” as it is in the picture, but I love that photo!! The oldest is now 32 and due next month with her first…and it’s a girl! I’m guessing my favorite photo may soon change 🙂
My favorite picture is our family portrait, that includes my mom, her 4 children, our spouses and all the grand kids….we are are as thick as thieves 🙂
LOL, my favorite photograph is of me, Jordan Knight and Donnie Walhberg, from the New Kids On The Block. I have loved those guys and that group since the 80’s. I finally meet them a few years ago during their 2008 comeback and then again in 2009. Whoot whoot, that’s my fav pic.

Two years ago I got to try flying trapeze and my favourite photo is of me being successful at one of the basic catches we were learning. It reminds me a of a great family holiday and how I’m not too old to conquer fear and do something new.
My favorite photograph is one that a wonderful photographer took of my little guy when he was about 1 year old. I love all the pictures she has ever taken of him, but this one — a close-up face shot — just captures everything wonderful about lovely little baby of mine.
My favorite pic is of my boys and husband that we took at the beach. We were on our way to dinner and they had the sweetest sunkissed faces and were standing in the most beautiful sunset. Good times:)
It is a photo of my daughter when she was a baby, asleep in her high chair with spaghetti smeared all over her face, and in her hair. I love it because it typifies the way she was back then – she loved to eat and nap, those were her two favorite things. They still are, actually.
My favorite picture of ALL time is the one of my son and his Dad moments after he realized that the car he was drooling over actually was HIS! The whole day was fantabulous – our son was happy to “inherit” a Dakota truck from his Dad…but secretly his Dad had found a mustang convertible (from the year our son was born) and had it refurbished…and parked it at a car show. I had the camera aimed and focused…and caught both his and Dad’s faces when the realization hit him. Love it…love them!
It has to be all the family pictures I have from our various vacations together. Each one is special and reminds me of the special times we shared.
That’s easy! My favourite photo is one taken just a couple of weeks ago, with my husband and I with our two granddaughters! What a blessing to have them come up to visit us!
My favorite photograph is of my grandpa looking out on the open range. He was a cowboy, and yet we never saw him in that role, only as our grandpa. I feel like this one photo is a look into another side of him I wish I’d known.
My favorite is any of the photos my sisters and I take of our children when we all get together. My boys and four nieces range from 8 to 22. I love to see how they have changed over the years!
My Dad passed away a few years ago and I was going through some of his pictures and I found one of him. It was taken in Germany after the war, he was sitting on a sofa wearing a suit with the remains of a bombed out house behind him. It’s a little sad but after you get over that it is a really cool picture.
We were with family and friends at an amusement park. We all decided to have our pictures taken at one of those places where you dress up. It was the western theme. As each of us walked out in costume the laughing began. We tried to take a group picture but everyone was laughing so hard and making so many jokes. Even the photographer got the giggles. What fun that day! whenever we look at the picture we all start to laugh all over again….
My favorite photograph is one when I was at my convocation with a bouquet of roses where I turned around and my friend quickly snapped a photo of me. Good thing I was smiling!
I can’t take great “natural” pictures of my family but a few months ago, when my step daughter was in town visiting us, we were all outside Bajama Breeze waiting for our table to be ready. As my son and husband were having a conversation with my step daughter, they both smiles just as I SNAPPED the photo. It’s the best father/son picture I’ve ever take of them. They are not looking at the camera or even posing…..its totally natural!!! We used this photo to make a Father’s Day, polaroid card!
Thanks for the chance to win.

I have a picture of my husband and I together close-up smiling. It was taken at an event the night before he started chemotherapy for cancer. We knew our world was changing in many ways the next day, but we had faith in who God is and in our relationship with each other. We didn’t want to take any moment for granted, and that picture captures that moment. It is such a powerful reminder for me every time I look at it!
The picture of my grandmother at her high school graduation from 1936 is my favorite. She’s the most amazing women and to think of how she grew up makes this an incredible photo to me.
1982 Christmas – I came home for the holidays and my Mom, brother and I were joking, teasing, tickling and goofing around to the point that we were all laughing so hard we were tearing up. After that memorable time, my G’ma took some pics of us. Bob was on his knees, I was standing behind him and Mom was standng behind me. We have huge grins because be had just barely stopped laughing when G’ma took the pic. It captures the fun, crazy, happy, love we shared. We’ve experienced many changes since then, including my bother’s unexpected, sudden passing. The memories are wonderful and though the picture is getting kind of faded, it is great to have that day on film. 🙂
Hard to say which is my absolute favorite. One of our wedding photos really captures just how happy we were that day. Thanks for the chance to win!
I have a photo of my son when he was three years old jumping in the air. The joy is infectious. My husband actually had it made into a stamp for me! from Martha Glower
pictures of my children and grandchildren would be on the top of the list, but i have a favorite photo of a place where i grew up that i can go to when i need to calm down and find peace.. there is an island off of the windward side of oahu, hawaii called rabbit island. i look at that picture and am instantly translated to that beach and the view of the island.
I have a photograph in my hall which is of my kids. Its a school photo I got a good few years back. The kids went to a small country school with about 12 kids in each class. . My youngest was about two and the photographer let her get into the picture with her brother and sister. The look on her face is priceless. Her little face was beaming with pride. Magic!
a pre-wedding black and white photo of my husband kissing me. I guess I was a bit nervous in front of the photographer and he kept having to lean in to give me a kiss. His bum was sticking out and his lips were puckered. Its hilarious but I love that photo so much.
My favorite photo is the one of my best friend and I out after work one night with a random group of people – someone snapped a picture of us and it turned out great. My friend had the picture printed and bought two identical frames and gave me mine as a Christmas present so we each had the same picture in the same frame. My next favorite picture is a black and white shot our wedding photographer took of my husband and I in front of a stained glass window.
My favorite photo is of our son playing out in the snow. He has a snowflake in his hand, and he is looking down on it. He is surrounded by falling snowflakes. He looks so angelic.
My favorite photo of all time is a picture of me in an infant seat with my father in front of me down on his hands and knees looking into my eyes. Of course I don’t remember the moment but I just love to look at that picture.
Great release. My favourite photo is of a mountain with a lake in the foreground. It is such a beautiful place, with such happy memories. I’m not a great photographer and I think why it makes me so happy is that it’s an amazing photo that accurately captures what I saw and felt, even with my little happy snap camera. Weird I know.
My favorite photograph is from a couple of years ago. Its of me, my hubby and our two adult sons on a fishing vacation. Warms my heart every time I look at it.
It’s a photo of my son playing out in the snow holding a snowflake in his hand and looking down upon it. It is just angelic. It is special to me because he is the love of my life.
Besides the first picture if my daughter, of course, my favorite picture is one of my brother and I in front of the Christmas tree when we were little. When my daughter was about 3 years old she saw it at my parents’ house and said, “Nana, I know that’s me, but I don’t know who that boy is.” She is me all over again!
My favorite picture is one of myself taken when I was 19 years in the peak of my youth! It’s in my parents house. My daughters can’t beleive it was me…
There is a photo of my son and I on the Washington State coast from when he was about 2 & 1/2. The camping trip was miserable but you would never be able to tell by the smiles on our faces.
My favorite photo is of my son at about 18 months old (he will be 40 in Dec … egads!). He was digging for something in his wooden toy box and all I could see was his “backside” with his tippy toes barely touching the floor. It was one of those priceless moments that happen quickly. So glad I always kept the camera handy.
One of my favorite photographs is one of my maternal and paternal grandfathers sitting in my parents home having a chat. In the background you can tell there is the utter chaos of little kids playing hard. Those two somehow turned up their hearing aids and tuned out the background noise and just visited together.
I will always treasure a photo I took with my mom and my two boys. She passed last summer and I often look at it.
Boy, that’s a tough one! There are so many. But I guess the one that comes to mind is the picture of my husband giving his toast at our daughter’s wedding. He was diagnosed with cancer the spring before her wedding and he promised her he would be here to walk her down the isle. He was and he was so proud of her and we all had good reason to hope for a good outcome at that point. But it wasn’t meant to be. He passed away 6 months later. We used that picture for so many things when he passed and it is hanging on my wall at home now. I love looking at him and remembering how good and hopeful we all felt that day.
One of my favorite photos is of my two grandsons! There is nothing like looking at their little faces and all you can feel is pure love for them! Grand children are the bomb!
I have a picture of my two daughters holding hands, but making it look like a heart shape – it was taken on Valentine’s Day this year. LOVE it!!!
A photo of my dad and us 4 kids when we we’re young. It’s just one of those moments frozen in time that reminds me of the love of my family.
I have a photo of my daughter, when she was like 4 months she looks so cute that photo, i like it so much
My favorite is also my least favorite! It is a family portrait taken in the 80s when I was 13. The hair, the clothes oh gees, what were we all thinking. It is sooooo bad that it is funny and completely and totally unforgetable.
Mine is a picture taken of my father and his younger brother around 1926. My father was four and his brother was two. They are scrubbed and dressed in these cute outfits. I know that getting a picture made was a big deal back then and I am sure my grandmother fixed them up right! It’s framed and every time I see it, I smile. It’s my heritage, my history. Both of those dear men are long gone but through that picture, they will always be with me.
My favorite picture is a family picture that we have. I have lost 2 brothers to cancer and I treasure the photos that we have when we were altogether.
This is a tough one to answer!! My husband and I don’t consider ourselves to be very photogenic so we don’t love having our picture taken but in Dec. 2011, my brother came home from out west with his wife and new baby daughter. We got a photo of my husband and I with my parents, my siblings, their spouses and all 5 grandchildren. A rare occasion captured on film. That’s probably one of my favourites.
My favorite photo was when my daughter was just a year old and she was finger painting. She had paint on the end of her nose when she was done. It was so stinking cute!
Shortly after I was bornoft here was an article and photograph of my mother holding me with my big sister looking on in amazement. This photo has always made me smile and depicts the love and endearment between a mother and baby. My mother died when I was eleven so to have a photograph that captures the emotions of that love means everything to me….that was 55 years ago.
My favorite is my childhood photos when I am little. So many memories to think back what’s have happened. Thanks for the giveaway.
My favorite photo is of my husband and myself standing in front of a beautiful Christmas tree. We were both dressed up and he looked so handsome. He was on a heart transplant list at the time and three months later he received his new heart. Sadly, he did not recover from the surgery and this is the last picture of him.
My favourite photograph is that of my late Oma with me and my brother when we were little. I loved her and miss her and it’s wonderful to look at that photo and be reminded of her as well as when my brother and I would play together all the time.
My favorite photo is of my sons when they were 10 and 2.
My youngest was on a tricycle and my oldest son was on the back with one arm flung out like they were flying through the air. It always makes me smile.
I have a picture of my son when we was about 4 years old crawling around the corner of the Christmas tree on Christmas morning to see what Santa had left him. He was so shy then! You can just see the excitement on his face. Priceless to me!
Oh dear! I have so many but my favorite is a black and white picture of my father when he was about 6 years old posing for a photographer. He has shorts on and his hair in ringlets down to his shoulders. It hangs in one of the bed rooms in an oval convex frame. A great question thanks. Tricia
My favourite photo of all time is one of my Grandad and my sister, taken at her wedding. Grandad is in his wheelchair, having suffered a bad stroke, and my sister is leaning down very close to him. The emotion captured between the two of them is just extraordinary. Makes me tear up just thinking about it!
I have many favoriate photos! When I turned 50 my children suprised me with black and white photo of the family …my 4 children and grandchildren . They all came from different locations to take the photo at the beach . When I opened the gift I broke down and cried…..my family is everything to me….. They sure know me…as I did not want any gifts. But this was a perfect gift.
I have a picture of me and my sister when we were young. She was a baby and I was probably 3. We are sitting on the stoop to our house and I leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. My mom wasn’t sure what I was going to do but my parents captured a great picture of us!
My favorite photo is a black and white that I took of my grandfather. Although I do not have a good eye for photography, this picture looks like it was taken by a professional. It is perfectly stages and his expression is wonderful. It reminds me of him in wonderful ways.
I have a photo of my husband’s grandfather teaching my son how to cast a fishing pole. The sun is just perfect shining off his silver hair. His weathered skin against my son’s young skin tells a story itself.
A photo of four generations including my grandma, my mom, myself, and my first daughter. It is extra special now since my grandma passed away….at age 97!
My favorite picture is of me and my grandfather sitting on a bench at my family’s gathering on Thanksgiving a few years before he died. We sat and talked and it was a great memory and I will always treasure that picture of my dear Pappaw! =o)
My favorite photo is of my kids playing in the snow. The snow was heavy and fast, big snowflakes are the backgrund
My favorite photo of all time is hard to say. I have five children so it is hard to choose one,but I will
anyway. My husband is a workaholic and he never takes a
break. The only time he truly rests from work is when we are on vacation at Disney. So my favorite photo is a family photo in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. This is a time that we are all happy and free from our daily cares.
There is a picture of my twin sister and older sister sitting on the hearth of a fireplace in our house. It is our “car”. Who knows where we were going but I love that it shows we were close enough to play together.
My favorite photo is a picture we took in Italy with my husband’s aunt and uncle. It was a very special trip and holds many special memories.
My answer could change the next time I think about this question. But right now, my favorite photo is of my dad, when he was young, during WWII. He is in uniform, with his arms crossed and he is smiling. I have always loved that picture, and when he died in March that was one my mom and I knew had to be on display at the visitation.
I have a photo of my sister and I as little girls…I cherish it and remember that she was my first friend in this world. 🙂
My favorite photo is one of me and my two daughters when they were younger. It was not one of our usual ‘lets stand together and pose for the camera’ pictures. It is such a natural looking snapshot and all of us look happy.
My three girls and I were just looking at the pictures from my wedding so this picture is fresh on my mind. We have a picture of my husband and I with all 8 of our grandparents. I don’t know how many people are able to say that. Since then, one of his grandparents and two of mine have passed away. So, it is very special to have a picture with all of us together.
My favorite photograph is of my kids this past March on vacation in Aruba. It is such a wonderful photo of them on the beach and to make it more special than that is that I made it into a photo card and it’s going to be in the Holiday edition of Paper Crafts Magazine!
My favorite photo is a picture taken at Thanksgiving with all the extended and close family. Some of the loved ones aren’t here anymore and it makes it that much more special to me to remember the good times.
This is a tough choice. I have so many favorite photos like my wedding photo and the first photo we took of our son but since I have to choose just one; I choose the photo I took of my parents on Father’s Day eleven years ago. It’s the last photo they took together, they were both smiling and it was a beautiful sunny day. That was a rare moment for my parents. My mother passed away a few weeks later. I truly treasure that photo.
I have a framed photo of my father-in-law when he was 18 in his Navy uniform. He was so handsome and we love this pic!
My favourite picture of all time would be one of all five of us in our front yard in our previous house in Australia. I would like to go back to that time in a heart beat.
My favorite photo is of the whole family on our 50th wedding anniversary at Disneyworld. This included daughter, grandchildren, spouses and 2 adorable grandchildren. A treasured time for all of us.
My favorite photo is of my son, the look on his face when he held his son and daughter for the first time the love you can see on his face is priceless
I have so many favorites, I have never really narrowed it to one before. I guess I would have to say my Papa’s military photo. He left home when he was 16, lied about his age to get into the military, and later ended up in Pearl Harbor. We have a close up professional photo of him in his uniform and he looks like a classic movie star. The photo survived a fire, now we are looking into getting it restored.
My favourite photo is of my hubby and I taken on our first Christmas day in Florida. It was raining and taken in the parking lot, not even on the water, but it was the beginning of such a special tradition.
A picture of Ellie at Christmas. She is wearing Rudolph slippers and a santa hat.
My most fave photo was only added to my collection last year….of the thousands and thousands that I have accumulated over the 39yrs of life, the one of my dearest Mama, my brother, sister and I with some of our extended family taken one week before my beautiful Mama left this life will be one of the most treasured photos I will ever have.
My favorite photo is of my son at age eight hugging his new dog – an 85 pound black lab named Magic. The smile on his face tells it all!
My favorite photo ever is me and my husbands Wedding photo, hanging in our living room. It always makes me smile and reminds me of the best day of my life!
My favorite was when my parents had all 10 of their first grandchildren (ages 4-newborn) at a family reunion and the took a snapshot of them all lined up on the couch–some of the “older” cousins were holding their baby cousins–it was precious!
I have so many favorites. I’ll highlight just a couple. The first, is of me and my twin sis as toddlers sitting on my father’s lap. He traveled 50 weeks out of the year for work and was rarely home so to have a pic together is a treasure. The second is the day my hubby and I brought our baby boy home: OUR first family pic. 🙂
If I have to choose my favorite photograph it would be the picture frame that holds our wedding license and picture of the Little Chapel of the West in Las Vegas. Every time I look at it, it reminds me of what should have been a short walk to the chapel turned out to be several unpaved blocks to get there. But I would do it again in a heart beat.
My favorite photo ever is me and my husbands Wedding photo, hanging in our living room. It always makes me smile and reminds me of the best day of my life!
Hmm, I have lots of favorites but if I had to pick just one I would say my favorite photo right now is a picture from our recent wedding of us walking away on the beach holding hands. It turned out really well and shows off the beautiful scenery. It captured a perfect moment. 🙂
My favorite photo was taken a year ago today. It was the day we took our son home from the hospital. My sister took our picture in her front yard: my hubby, daughter, my son and me. It was such a beautiful day!
My favorite photo ever is one that was taken fairly recently, December 18, 2011 to be exact. It’s a picture of one of my extremely premature twin nieces. They were born at 24-1/2 wks gestation & survival rates aren’t the greatest. Now that the girls are almost 7 months old, it’s an excellent reminder of how far they’ve come!
My favorite photograph is the family store in the late 1800’s. It gives me so much insight into my family heritage.
It is a picture of my son Jackson and I, shortly after his birth. We are skin to skin and both sound asleep, it was the happiest moment of my life.
I was 4 years old and my brother and I are watching tv. The photo is of us from the back. My brother has his arm around me because we are watching this terrifying 80s claymation movie with the big bad wolf in it. I love it for the 80s clothes and hair! But mostly because my mom captured the sweetness of my brother and our very special bond.
my favorite photo is of my son at 9 months old in only a diaper and a string of red Christmas ornaments around his neck. He was totally captivated by the photographer and looked so cute and angelic in the photo.
My all-time favorite photo is a B&W i took of my son when he was about 2-years-old at the beach. I put him in a white Tshirt. He was throwing rocks in from the lakes edge. His t-shirt was long and the bottom of it got soaked. The photo is a view of him from behind. This beautiful chunky little kid throwing rocks and his t-shirt damp and hugging his little rear end. Its really a sweet photo, love that kid:)
My favorite photograph is of me and my now fiancé at the beach. We went on a trip to Florida to visit his family and tried taking a shot of ourselves standing in the water with the ocean behind us. I kept losing balance when the waves hit us so we kept having to retake it. There’s one shot where we are both just laughing so hard at the absurdity of it all and it never fails to bring a smile to my face!
My favorite photo is one of my grandmother when she was 18 years old and it’s a picture my mom just got her hands on that she has never seen ever. She lost all her photos in a flood and so this just brought tears to her eyes and I got to see what my grandmother looked like.
It is a picture of my family, as I’ve lost all my pictures due to a flood and this is very special to me.
A photograph and my husband and me taken so many years ago on our wedding day.
That would have to be a group photo showing four generations of my family….
My favorite picture is of my mom and son when he was little. I just love the delight in their faces. And who doesn’t love the cuteness of a little boy.
My favorite photo was of my son and taken by his teacher in elementary! He has a butterfly on his shoulder but is looking up at another beautiful butterfly with different hues of blue sitting on a flower about a foot in front of his face. The background is of tropical vegitation and the colors just look perfect and vibrant against his skin. I was so thankful that the teacher gave me the picture, I love it!
My favorite photo is any of my terrier mix Taffy, but especially one of him posing in a smiley faced round inner tube. I brought him for summer pet portraits at our local grocery store and he sat in the inner tube and looked right at the camera with a smile on his face. I loved the picture so much that I entered it for a calendar contest and he won!
A photo of my brother & I at our 5th/11th birthday party. We are 6 years apart but our birthdays are in the same month. It’s just such a “Kodak” moment where our family is singing happy birthday – along with the Snoopy cake – and we’re so ecstatic at the moment at hand.
My favorite photo is of my brother and me when we were very small in front of our christmas tree. The looks on our faces remind me of how magical Christmas is when you are young.
I don’t think I could pick out a favorite picture. Different pictures, evoke different memories and feelings, but the ones with my family always bring a smile to my face.
I have a picture of when my kids were little (they are 18 & 22 now). My 4 yo dd at the time was holding her baby brother on her lap and he’s about as big as she is! So cute! She’s still tiny & needless to say her little brother towers over her.
My favorite photograph was taken at the wedding rehearsal the afternoon before my husband and I were married. It is of my two adult sons, taken from behind, as they sat, talking, in front of the fountain at the municipal rose gardens. It always warms my heart when I come across it.
My favorite photographs are of my cats Mr Sugar and Miss cinnamon. The ones where they are curled up together do show
That they more than just tolerated each other.
I have a couple of favorites but the most priceless one is probably the one we took of my siblings and my parents just on the spur of the moment on Christmas Eve 17 years ago. We didn’t know that it would be our last Christmas together as my little brother was killed in a car accident in July of the next year on what was suppose to have been his wedding day. I also have one of my two boys that just makes me laugh everytime I see it. The are both sitting at the table eating breakfast with their sunglasses on. They were only about 3 and 4 1/2 years old. Just adorable!!
It’s nearly impossible to get a nice photo of all three of my kids together. One is usually making a funny face, not looking at the camera, or moving around so that the image is blurry. At my youngest 3rd birthday party, they were all around his birthday cake and I snapped a picture of them while everyone was singing ‘Happy Birthday’. Genuine, happy faces, looking at the camera, big bright eyes and in focus. I was a happy mama! The picture was scrapbooked immediately and I still think of it as my favorite photo.
Probably the one of my sweet mother before she had a big decline and lost her battle to cancer. It is of my mother, me(much younger and thinner) and my then 8 month old baby girl. We were sitting in a porch swing and my Mom looked great. You would never know she was sick to look at her. very special to me.. it was in the 90’s, we had the big glasses and i love it! my baby is 18 now 🙂
My favorite photos are the engagement pictures that I took with the man I will marry in just 27 days!!
My favorite photo was taken about 18 months ago for our church directory and features our three children. I adore it because it captured each of their personalities to a ‘t’!
My favorite photo is one taken when I was 1, it’s black and white and the only one of myself as a baby! hat’s it, just one baby photo!
There is a street near me that is lined with Liquid Amber trees… in the summer Godbeams shine down through the leaves in the late afternoon. I was able to capture a warm, golden afternoon of these wonderous sunbeams shining down onto a garden surrounded by a white picket fence. As I took the shot, a woman in an old straw hat with a long ponytail rode her old style Schwinn bike into the scene. She was accompanied by her dog on a leash running beside her. The soft warm tones so remind me of childhood days playing outside on a long summer day. Plus it was the capture of a lifetime for me.
I have a picture of my great-grandmother and her close friend standing beside the rose garden they both loved. I look at that picture and see my roots in many ways.
My favorite photo of all time is a photo of my youngest son when he was 3 years old- dressed in a Halloween costume of HIS choice – Minnie Mouse!!!!!!
My favorite photograph is one that was taken while we were on a family vacation. We grew so close on that vacation and the photo tells the whole story!!!
Hard to choose just one, but I’ll go with a photo of my late husband and the first dog we ever adopted together many years ago. They were best buddies, and the photo is special because I’d like to believe they are again keeping each other company 🙂
Choosing a favorite picture is really tough but I would have to say it is a picture of my Grandpa and Grandma Brown. I was always so close to my Grandpa Brown so the picture means a lot to me.
When I think about choosing just one photo, so many come to mind, but my screen saver on my computer has a photo of my boys at the beach, and I must admit that beach holidays with my family are the BEST!
I have a photo of my parents as newlyweds. They are standing on the porch, kissing goodbye, before my dad leaves for work. Mom is in her bathrobe and Dad is carrying a large lunch bag down by his side. They are so wrapped up in each other, and you can just tell they are in their own little world. They were married almost 60 years before my mom died in 2008.
My favorite photo is one of my husband holding our daughter in his arms and looking at her. It was one of the first photo’s that I took of the two of them. It was just after she was born and I remember thinking how much I loved him and this new little family we had become.
I have a photo of my 5 year old daughter (now 28) on Chistmas Day which just happened to be her fifth birthday. She has a very reflective look on her face as she gazed at something other than the camera. I love it.
I have a photo of my two boys walking hand in hand down a deserted road with trees overhanging the road. They both are in jeans and no shirt about 7 and 4 years old. I love the look of my younger son looking up at his big brother as they walked down the road. The best part of this photo is I took it in black and white and it is timeless!
One of my favorite photos is of my parents at their 50th wedding anniversary celebration. My mother had Alzheimer’s and in the photo she and my Dad are dancing. Even though my Mom didn’t always know my Dad, in the photo you can see in my Dad’s face the love he had for his Evie. My Mom died a few weeks after that day and my Dad followed her several months later. They never spent an anniversary apart.
I have a photo of my Bubby (grandmother in Yiddish) and me in her bed just snuggling up for the night. I was blessed with her in my life until I was 35 and miss her every day. This photo simply sums up the feelings of love, acceptance, safety and Bubby!
A picture of my husband and I on our wedding day. We are sharing a kiss and our photograph captured it through the trees with the lake in the background. Makes me smile every time I look at it 🙂
My favorite photo is of the Lone Cypress I took in Monterey. It just reminds me that it’s ok to stand alone when choosing to do the right things and not following in the wrong patch that others would want to go.
My favorite photo is of my mother wearing a brightly striped hat on a whale watch in St John’s Newfoundland. We haven’t been back in several years as she has gotten a bit too frail to get around the hilly area. But the colors perfectly show her vibrant personality!
One of my favorite photos is of my mother as a teen having fun after a snow storm. She looks so happy!
That is tough to say… there are all the newborn pics of my boys, ones of my brother (who is no longer with us), fun ones of my mom with my boys, OH, i know, all the ones hubby and I have taken of each other on every anniversary!!!
A candid photo of any sort. I love to see all the events going on in the background!
I have so many loved photos! Such a hard question! One favorite that comes to mind is one of my mother and her brother when they were little. They are with Santa Claus and look so adorable. My mom was a beautiful little girl and she has the sweetest look on her face as she looks at Santa. I bring the picture out every Christmas.
My favorite picture is one of my three children at my youngest high school graduation. It marks the start of a new era and I am sad but yet I am excited for the next step of their journey.
One of my favorite photos is one taken of my daughter when she was three years old sitting on the toilet with a newspaper in hand–imitating her father. Just priceless.
Pictures of my parents with their grandchildren are my favourites! 😉
My favorite photo is the whole family at Christmas.
With my oldest son having started a family of his own this year and my youngest son heading off to college I have to say my favorite photo is one we took last Christmas with myself and the two of them. I am seated and they are standing behind me with their hands on my shoulders. When I saw it I was reduced to tears.. This year for Mother’s Day my youngest son had it etched on a silver tag for me to wear around my neck making it a treasured gift.
I have a picture from my daughter’s wedding where my daughter, her new husband, and my son are standing with their arms around each other watching a video of pictures from their childhoods. Love it!!!
We have a family photo from my childhood where everyone ended up with some funny expression on their faces after a gust of wind blew through. I love the look one each person’s face and the crazy wind blown hair. Makes me smile and reminds me how charmingly nutty we all are.
My FAV photo is one of my father and my son when he was a small boy. He ran up to his PaPa and gave him a huge hug around his neck. Somehow I was able to catch that magic moment and preserve it for all time. I put it in a Beautiful frame and it sits on my parent’s dresser in their bedroom so they can look at it every day. I have it in a scrapbook.
I have a picture of my Dad with his big red truck. As far as I know it is the only copy out there. This was special because it was his dream truck and he only got to enjoy it a relatively small time before being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
I think my favorite picture of all time is one of my dad sitting in his recliner reading and me on the couch in the background laying on the couch looking at a book, just like my dad was doing; I was maybe 3 years old at the time and Dad would have been 23. He was my hero. He’s been gone now for 7 years and is still missed.
I have a few and it was hard to decide but, I think it was a picture of our first grandaughter on the day her sister was born. She is sitting in this big hospital chair at 2yrs old holding her newborn sister and holding the blanket away from her face so she could stare intently at her new sister. It still brings tears to my eyes.
My favorite pic is of me & my husband on our 1st date. It reminds me of how our love story began. I smile every time I look at it. Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite photo is of my mother and father when they were dating. He is in his Army uniform and she is in a sleeveless dress with a full skirt. They were obviously in love and I treasure it.
It’s a picture of my sister and I when we were like 5 and 4 – we’re in a baby pool with my Dad – it captures the essense of fatherhood and the silly and simple times we had with him.
I have this adorable photo of my parent’s on their wedding night peeking out of a cracked doorway. I love it because it is a fun photo…not set up “cheese” picture!
We used to go to the beach every year and stay in my Great Aunt & Uncle’s huge beach house, called “The Playhouse”. There was a porch that circled the whole house and a wide stairway up to it (no underground basement that close to the water – so the basement was ground level…) Every year the whole family and friends, sometimes as many as 20-30 people, would gather on the steps for a photograph. It is so much fun to see those photos, taken the same place every year from when my grandmother was young, all the way through ’till I was a teenager, and they finally sold the house!
My husband took a picture of me and our two children in the hospital when our son was born. Our daughter who was almost two in the photo was holding her infant brother while sitting next to me. Since my husband wasn’t in the photo I rely on our favorite wedding photo for him.
My favorite photo was the first Christmas photo of my daughters when they were little. From that day forward it’s been a tradition to have every Christmas.
One of my favorite pictures is of my boys squished in a chair together, both with big ol’ happy smiles on their faces, the kind right before they laugh. It makes me smile every time so I keep it close by.
I have a photo of my granddaughter standing under a ” waterfall” at her local swimming pool. What is so special about this photo is that her eye is captured in one of the water droplets!
If I have to pick just ONE favorite…it would have to be my parents’ wedding photo, because I wasn’t there! It is the only connection I have with that special day in their lives. It includes both sets of my grandparents, as well, so it really is the beginning of my family!
I have a couple of pictures that come to mind right away. The first is of my parents and our son, about 8 then, sitting between them. They worked hard all their life and struggled and they were finally at a good place in their life and had some money to enjoy a bit of their part-time retired life. Our son was so happy to be visiting his grandparents, my mom was looking at her grandson with the biggest smile on her face and my dad was looking at my mom with the biggest smile on his face. You never realize when those moments are happening that you may not have many more like that. The other picture is a toss up between 2 photos. One is of my mom dancing with my grandpa (my dad’s father) at our wedding. They were both having the time of their life! Neither one of them are with me today and I feel so lucky that I was the only child that was able to have them alive when we got married. The other is of my husband. Shortly after my mom passed away my dad took us to a place they use to go frequently when they took their short trips in their RV. It was RV park was right on the shore of Lake Superior and it was just beautiful. We were sitting around a campfire just as the sun started to go down across the bay. He had his sunglasses on looking out over the water for the longest time. I happened to take a picture of him at the perfect moment when the sun was the deep reds and oranges. Those colors were reflecting off the water onto his face and it was just an amazing shot. I couldn’t stage that to happen if I needed to! You could see he was deep in thought. I just love that picture of him. When I showed him the picture, he said that he remembered he was thinking about my mom and how much he loved her and missed her. It made that picture even more precious to me.
My cousin Ronnie was about five, which means I was about eleven. I dressed him up in my uncle’s navy cap, a white shirt and blue shorts of mine that reached the floor. We were on the balcony in the sun. He was squinting up at the camera and saluting. It is the cutest thing. Now about 50 years later, he is my favourite cousin still. But he doesn’t let me dress him up anymore.
My favorite photo is one of my dd. She is about 6 or 7I and she is wearing this adorable yellow sundress and she is drawing on a piece of paper concentrating so hard. We are at a wedding and the sunlight is streaming in behind her. Its sooooo beautiful! Of coarse i have favorites of my soon too but this one is AWESOME!
My favorite photograph is a black and white one from the 1950’s of my late father holding me in his arms at my christening at an old meetinghouse in New England. It’s so tender and sweet.
My mother had always made the comment that she didn’t look good in pictures. While I never agreed with that, I can remember this one picture of her and myself taken on a trip to Sedona when I was in college. We were both so happy on that trip and even though it has faded and a bit blurry composition, I cherish the one and only picture that my mother also loved dearly.
My favorite photo has to be one of my boys holding their new baby sister. They were so proud and excited to finally have her!
This is hard one because there are a handful of very special photographs. But one of the most special ones is actually not a particularly great one but it is the only photo I have been able to find of my mom, father, brother and me. There are lots of photos with three of the four of us but only one with all of us.
My favorite photo is of my father, brother and nephew. Dad died at age 41. It is the only photo of the three generations of Vernon Sr., Jr., and the Third. They are walking together each holding the hand of the toddler. Priceless!
My favorite picture is an old photo of my grandma and grandpa. They are posing in front of their new model-A with my uncle as a babe in arms.
This past March we were able to take a trip home (we are in the military so that doesn’t happen often) and we were able to get a 5 generation picture with my daughter, myself, my mom, my grandma, and my great grandma. A picture like that doesn’t happen often!
my favorite picture of the first photo of when my daughter was born. She is me and my husbands first baby and it’s just an amazing picture to see your baby for the first time!
My favorite photo is the Abraham Lincoln because of what he stood for.
I have a picture of my Mom and Dad sitting on a log at the beach. It is about 25 years old now but just warms my heart everytime I look at it. It is beautiful candid photo, not posed at all. My dad has since passed away, but I have this picture in my living room and look at it every day.
My favorite photo is one of my wedding pics in Brazil. It was the most wonderful time of my life. I would do it again, and again, and again, and again……..
Our wedding day it started to rain and we all grabbed an umbrella each, and we each had different colours, and it made the most beautiful photo, almost like a rainbow.
That’s a tough question!!! Kind of like picking your favorite child. LOL So I’ll have to say ONE OF my favorite photos of all time is me and my mom on my 21st birthday sitting in the back of a horse drawn carriage down in Boston. It was a memorable night for sure and not everyone can say they spent their 21st birthday with their MOM, but I can and I LOVED it. 🙂
My favorite all time photo is my daughters wedding with her veil on and the sun light coming trough her beautiful face on her special day!! Cherished photo forever.
My favorite photo is one of myself and my cousin at 8 years old, my brother and cousin at 6 and my baby brother at 3. It was taken 32 years ago! (Wow! Time flies!) My cousins were visiting from California for the first time and it was an incredible 2 weeks! We were putting on a performance for our parents…. I was a prissy ballerina, my cousin was a cool acrobat, my other cousin and brother were a comedy act and my little brother was holding a tennis racquet for some reason I don’t remember….. Let’s say things have not changed much since then!
My favorite photo was taken on the beach in Destin Florida a few years ago. All 16 of my family went to Florida and we did group pics. My parents had a great time with their 3 children, their 5 grandchildren and their 1 great grandchild along with daughter-in-law and son-in-law. Because my parents are now in their 80’s, this was probably the only trip we will make like this. So thankful for the memories.
I have a few favorites of our four children, but my favorite was taken on a beach in South Carolina, which they all say was their favorite vacation ever.
I have a picture of my Dad with his big red truck. That may not sound that special but it was his dream truck and he didnt have it all that long before he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was a great reminder of happier healthier times.
I found a picture of my grandparents when they were young that I had never seen before! They both passed on several years ago so this photo was like a gift from above. I shows them laughing and I love it. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your contest!!
My favorite photo is of me and my cousin standing in a field. We were both around three years old. It is one of favorites.
Just one?!! I’d choose one of me with my Uncle at my wedding 23 years ago. It was special then, but has become even more precious since his death in March.
My favorite photo is my daughter’s first photo with Santa. She was 18 months and she patiently waited for an hour and a half to see him. She then completely freaked out when I put her on his lap. Santa played it up a bit and his expression just completes the photo. As soon as I took her back, Daphne calmly turns and says, “bye Santa!” The photo will always be on my mantle for Christmas.
wedding pics!
Okay 5 th try, fingers crossed
My favorite is a picture of my 2 boys 1 1/2 and the birthday boy who turned 3 sitting with my dad. The little one on his lap and the oldest snuggled right next to him with my dads arm around him. I love my daddy so much and never thought I would love anyone else like that and along came my babies who share that same love. This photo sits in a frame on my tv stand 17 years later!
