I have a photo of my grandsons together in a wagon. It is my favorite photo of all times and I use for everything. Of course they have grown and always ask who are those guys? Too cute!
I have a wall with three framed pictures and every morning when I see them I smile. The first is the picture of my parents on their wedding day. It was a 70’s wedding including the hair! People always tease and ask who those hippies are. The second is a picture of my husband’s parents on their wedding day. It’s a perfect classic early 60’s style photo. Finally, our wedding picture is up. I just love to see what made “us” possible. 😉
My favorite photograph(s) is the one we always took at Easter at my grandparents house right before our big egg hunt. They took a picture every year. It was fun to see how we all changed over the years!
I have a picture of my daughter sitting at the front of a boat and she turned around and looked at me and she had a big smile on her face. I snapped the photo and it came out perfect. My daughter had been having some troubles at school and it was finally good to see her smiling.
Oh my, tough one! I have lots of favorites but to pick just one it would have to be a photo of my great-great-grandmother. It’s a photo of her in an old cane chair, taken outside. She is holding a baby in one hand and a big old shotgun in the other. A very old and treasured photo.
My favorite photograph is of my Dad when he was young and newly married and at his first real “job”. It is special to me because I lost my Dad at an early age, as a matter of fact, he passed away 25 years ago today. So that photo is very near and dear to me.
I have a favorite photograph that is actually of myself and I never like photos of myself. It was taken at the end of my wedding reception. I am leaning back in a chair with an exhausted look on my face, messy hair, and a big twinkle in my eyes. When I look at that photo I remember how happy I was that day and how happy I am to still be sharing my life with my husband 16 years later.
My favorite photograph would have to be a family photo taken on my wedding day in Dec 2008. We were all dressed up and looked the best and the photograph was taken by a professional photographer. Sadly, we weren’t given another chance for more great family photos because my youngest sister got sick again and passed away in 2010.
My favorite photo of all time is the birth announcement of my first grandchild, with his precious little picture on it. My heart has never been the same!
Our wedding photographer captured an adorable shot of my husband and I, 27 years ago. We are both looking into each others eyes and the love we have for each other just radiates through our faces. I love seeing that photo, it reminds me of how special my husband is and how lucky I am to have him in my life.
My favorite photos are always Christmas eve at my house, with all my family and friends.
My favourite photo is one of my best friend and I together in Paris. She had been before, and written a song for me while there. Years later, she took me back to the place that inspired my song. Five years ago I lost her to breast cancer – so that photo of 2 youngs girls ready to take on the world is very special to me.
My favorite photograph of all time is one of my daughter dancing, it’s a moment of pure joy.
My favorite photo is of my brother and i when we were little. We were at the zoo. I was 4 and he was 2. I was holding his hand and we were facing the animal. It is a sweet shot.
My favorite photo is of my Grandfather when he was in the Marines during WWII. My father looks just like him:)
My favorite photograph of all time is a black and white one of my three children. A friend of mine was trying to get into the professional photographer business and offered me a free sitting if she could use the photos of my kids in her portfolio. My goal was to get one good photo of the three of them together. My boys were very reluctant and not at all excited about being photographed buy my little one posed all afternoon. At the end she tried the group photos and my favorite is the one in which the boys are smooshing their little sister and are being totally silly. She captured their personalities.
My favorite photo was taken on auto timer right after my husband proposed to me in Ireland on the Cliffs of Moher. The shot is of us kissing while sitting on the cliff.
Great release! My fav photo is of my twin sister and I when we were about three, she in blue overalls and me in red. I look at it now and see the resemblance of our children in us and just smile at how cute we were!~
My favorite photograph is one of about eightteen years ago, with my Pim and me taking the dancing lessons examn, both dressed up and a bit nervous. That was the start of getting to know each other and our wonderful relation of now already over seventeen years! Love that!
My favorite photo has to be the photo I took of my grandma at my brother’s birthday about 4 years ago. She was on that photo just the way she was, very relaxed. It’s just a beautifull one and everyone in the family wanted it.
At her funeral that specific photo was on her coffin and I couldn’t be more proud for taking this photo for everyone. Got so many compliments of people (even people I don’t know), as that was a photo taken exactly the way she was.
My favorite photograph is one of my son, nephew and niece when they were just a couple years of age, sitting together on my sister’s front porch swing half asleep (and dirty) after a fun day of playing together. About 18 years later we took a picture of all three of them on the same porch swing after another day of hanging out together –I love that they have remained so close.
My favorite photograph is a family picture we made during our vacation three years ago our last vacation with the six of us together.
My favorite photograph is one of my Mother ( age 6) and her Twin Sisters (ages 3)having a tea party on the lawn in their backyard many many years ago. I have used it several times to make cards for them on different occasions. They are now 88 and 85 years old! Makes me happy to relive a favorite time for them.
I only have one picture of my Mom, Dad, my 2 sisters, and me all together. I think it is from Christmas 1975, and my father passed away the following May. I had just turned 4 in the picture, and that means my sisters were 28 and 21. My Mom is smiling while looking at my Dad who is holding me (I was trying to wriggle away and I have my hands on my face like “Oh NO!”) My two sisters are beaming at the camera in their crazy 70’s plaid pants. Your contest today made me think that I should run out and have it framed tomorrow…I never knew it was my favorite until you asked! 🙂
I have a photo of my dad smiling on Christmas Eve just a week before he died. He is very happy and it was the last time I saw him, so that photo is very precious to me.
That’s such a hard one to answer. I think my favorite photo is one of our three sons at our middle son’s wedding. Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite picture is one that my husband took of our grand-daughter Brooke. He captured her laughing when she was about 9mo old. We call it “Pure Joy”.
After my father passed away I was sorting through all the color slides and came across a picture of my mother and I coloring Easter eggs. We were leaning over the counter and had our heads together in deep concentration. I was probably around 6 years old. My mother is no longer with me so this picture grabbed me. It is now printed and on my piano. What a memory!
My favorite photograph of all time would have to be the photo I took of my husband and our kids right before he deployed to Iraq the first time. It reminds me of how precious time is and how thankful I am to have what I do. Everything changed for us on that day and none of us were ever the same.
My favorite photo is my 5-year old niece with two of her medals during her recognition day at kindergarten. Even if Im away working overseas, my my mom & dad are there to support her all throughout her schooling. Im so proud of her.
My all-time favorite shot is one of my husband fishing in his kayak early in the morning. He is basically in sillhouette with a bunch of sparkly blue water all around him. That photo just seems to exemplify summer relaxation.
Genealogy is my other passion. I have a 1942 photo of my 6ft 2 1/2″ dad in his Army uniform standing next to his 5ft 7 father. And then there’s the one of my great grandmother and great aunt in the 1920’s, looking like they just got off the boat with their long dresses and hats. And then…. Shutterbug Special material.
My favorite picture is one that my dad took of my sister and myself. We are walking through the woods on a fall day. Fall is my favorite season. We are walking away from the camera and holding hands. She is about 4 years old and I am 7. The fall leaves come up to our knees and the trees surround us. It is a beautiful and sweet picture.
It is a photo of my family on the steps of the Art Museum. They flew in from all over the country to surprise me on my birthday in 2008!
My favourite photo is a recent one taken of my little family – where we are all looking at the camera and smiling! Pretty good for a 2 and 5 year old…and it was taken with the camera on a timer! Very proud of that one.
My favorite photo is from my wedding day. It’s a photo from before the ceremony of my dad kissing me on the cheek. He’s no longer with us and it’s one of very few photos of us together. He asked that I put it in my daughters room so that she would always know who her grandpa was as he passed away when she was just 4 months old. It’s been on her dresser for 12 years now. Miss you Dad.
My BFF had an old photo of us as young teens arm-in-arm together, and when I turned 40 she gifted me with a copy of that photo along with a similarly posed photo of us as adults, which she took while we were on vacation together. She had it all planned – we were in the same position, arms around each other – it was like a carbon copy of the older photo. We remain best buds …
My Kindergarden school picture. My teacher was at her desk looking at all the students’ packets of school pictures. She called me up to her desk, so I thought I was in trouble, but she just wanted to tell me how beautiful I was in my school picture. That comment has stuck with me and continues to make me feel beautiful everytime I see the picture.
My favourite photo is from our wedding day. One of the most happy and special days my life.
Oh gosh! A hard one. I think it has to be me and my daughter when she was just 5months old – we were on a windswept beach and I held the camera at arms length and took the picture – and it came out just fab! She is snuggled close to me, both of us looking at the camera – just a really lovely photo. And even though she is now 6, I still have it in its picture frame, on display. The boys were on the beach playing with their daddy, and it just reminds me of a fab holiday and special family time.
My favorite picture was one taken professionally of my children. They are laying down stacked on top of each other. It was so fun having it taken. (sometimes those professional sittings can be so stressful if the kids won’t cooperate)! 🙂
There are so many favorites, but the one that came to mind is of my older daughter when she was three weeks old sitting in her boppy. Her hands look like they are clasped and she has this kind of wise contemplative look. Everyone who saw the photo at the time remarked how she looked so much older and like she was really thinking. She seems to have lived up to that photo. She is my more contemplative, measured, careful child.
It’s a picture of me and that itself is a miracle because I hate pictures of me 🙂 I am 4 years old and I am on a boat trip with my parents. There was a photographer on board and he loved that I would smile even though I only had a couple of theeth in my mouth. It’s such a happy photo and my parents told me this story over and over again that it seems like a memory of my own by now.
My favorite picture is my 2 boys in cowboy outfits with a western background. The boys were ages 3 and 5 and Joshua had a tear in his eye. They are just so cute in the picture and it is priceless. Gotta love it.
Blessings, Peggy
I have a photo of my son and daughter from when they were 4 and 3 years old. It was taken in the summer and they we’re in our boat. Both of them were just beaming with happiness and they had their sunglasses and life jackets on, and the wind was blowing their hair. I just love that photo!
I have many photos that I love but one of my favorites is one that I took when my youngest son was 4. We had just gotten a Golden Retriever puppy, and he had climbed into the box and was cradling the puppy in his arms. The look on his face was so precious!
I have a picture of my son when he was deployed to Itaq the second time. It was just before he left and he was leaning over hugging his dog. He and Bodie (his military K-9), left a few minutes after that to head out. I wasn’t sure if I would ever see him again and I cherished that picture and still do.
My favorite photograph is one that I took of my 3 kids on the beach last summer. They’re all dressed in white and jeans and instead of posing like requested, they started playing around – it turned out so cute that I had it framed and used it for our Christmas cards last year.
My favorite is a photo that my sister gave me for Christmas of my parents on their honeymoon, so young and so happy.
I have a photo, just a snapshot, nothing fancy of my late nan & grandad, but it’s so precious to me. I take to it often. It sits in my craft room and when I can’t find something I always ask nan to help me, she’s pretty good at doing it too!
my favorite photograph is of my 2 granddaughters and I…it makes me smile everytime I see it….I was sitting on the ground and they both came over and hugged me at the same time, one from behind and one from the front….my daughter in law captured the moment…..One of my favorites because I only get to see them maybe once a year due to distance and always fear they won’t recognize me the next time….
My favorite photograph is the family picture that was taken last summer. We don’t often get together so it was nice to have this memory to look at every day.
My favorite photo is a picture of my husband, three daughters and myself enjoying a beautiful vacation in Hawaii. Sadly, it was the last vacation we would take as a famil,y as he passed away a little over a year later.
My favorite photo is of my 2 boys running on the beach in front of a lighthouse at our favorite vacation place. I have it framed and its in their bathroom. It was a difficult time with 2 young children but a great time also. I treasure those moments. Their growing fast now and I have a senior and a freshman and I treasure every moment with them. Thanks
I have a photo of my mom and dad when they were dating. For some reason it seems to be the only one that exists. I will always treasure that torn & beaten up photo.
I had been dating my husband-to-be for a year and was visiting with him for the weekend with my daughter who was 2 years of age. We would visit back and forth, commuting 2.5 hours, just to see each other. We did this for 1.5 years.
He was standing in the back field of his then 35 acres after giving us a ride. He jumped down, put my daughter on his shoulders and was talking to her is a soothing calm voice as the sun slowly set for the day. I captured the rays just hitting them creating a halo around the two as they stood. I remember thinking,,, such a strong young man, with such a gentle heart. I knew, without a doubt, I loved him and I would love him forever.
We have been married 23 years and still going strong. And that little girl is 24 years of age today.
That’s a no brainier for me. It’s a photo of my dad with my kids when they were babies. Still brings a tear to my eyes.
My fave photo(s) is of my son when he is around 2 years old sitting next to his female cousin Alyse of a similar age. In one photo they were laughing cutely together and in the second photo (only taken a minute or so later) they looked a little cross at each other. Their faces were so full of toddler expressiveness and they both looked utterly adorable. They are 17 and 18 years old now!
When my husband and I were engaged, we lived near Las Vegas. To mess with our parents, we photoshopped ( not well, I might add) our heads onto an ad for a Vegas wedding place so that it looked like we had just gotten married. My mom totally fell for it, even though our heads clearly did not belong on those bodies. It’s a reminder to me not to take stuff so seriously.
A picture of my friend and I when we were little in my backyard. We are still friends over 20 years later.
Mine would have to be of my dad walking me down the aisle. 20 years ago next month. He passed away almost 7 years ago. He was so proud and happy. Love him and miss him dearly.
Amazing, once again!! Thanks for quality, trendy products!
I am from Slovenia, but I married my housband 13 years ago in Las Vegas. We only have 7 photos, taken by our limo driver and they are my most valuable photos.
My mom had her three (at the time) grandkids sitting in the back of her little station wagon and she had taken them to get ice cream. The three of them were licking their ice cream cones, had ice cream and smiles all over their faces! My two and my brother’s, who was later killed in an auto accident at age 16. Very precious photo.
I love this photo I have of my Dad sitting at a tiny childs table with my 2 boys and my nephew having rootbeer floats. This photo is from about 25 years ago and it just makes me smile and touches my heart.
Two young hands, two rings on a bouquet of yellow roses and “Happy Ever After”…that’s just how it’s been for nearly 33 years HEA. That wedding photo is my favorite!
I forgot to describe my favorite photo! It’s one of my sister and I at 4 & 5 yrs. old. We’re in our old timey swimsuits, arms around each other, big ole’ grins. and carefree.
It sits on my craft desk along with photos of our sons as a reminder of happy times.
It is a picture of my husband and our son Ted. Ted is only a few months old in the picture and I LOVE it because he looks so content and safe in his Dad’s arms.
My favorite photograph is of my family that my husband took with a timer at a local park. We were too busy raising our 4 boys(all close in age) to take many photos so this one is special to me.
This is one of the toughest questions…but if I have to pick one I think it would be one I have of me and my cousins wth my grandmother. It brings back the happiness of childhood.
We have photo of our 3 teenage children with their Grandma (my husbands mom). It was towards the end of her life and was taken outside in a garden. The kids are surrounding her and the sun is shining just so that Grandma’s face is illuminated. I’ve never captured love in a picture quite like that.
The first picture that I have of all 3 of my grandsons taken together and given to us for Christmas. They’ve grown so much since then and it’s such a special momento of earlier times.
My favorite photo is one my husband took of my boys. They playing in a grassy field by our house, they look happy and adorable. I liked it so much he had it blown up and printed on canvas, and it hangs in the living room . Everyone who comes in comments on it.
I could never choose a favorite, but one I love is of my boys holding their little sister for the first time. My husband had my mom dress them in suits to come to the hospital. They look so sweet! They were smitten with her. It’s a beautiful photo.
The photo from the day my husband and I got engaged. We got all dressed up, me in a long black dress, he in his Alphas (his green dress Marine Corps uniform) and he took me to a restaurant we’d never been to in Orlando. Afterward we walked around the lake, found a bench, and that is where he got down on one knee and proposed. We asked a stranger to take our pic, (emphasis on strange!) and Phillip later said he thought the guy was going to run off with the camera and if he did he was going to chase him, lol. It was President’s Day 2003. We got married that July 🙂
my son, as a shepherd in a school Christmas play. Great release by the way
My favorite photo that comes to mind, is one of my grandmother holding my hand at the beach. I was three! She is the first person to tell me about Jesus…and her prayers led me to Him many years later. I feel that photo is a beautiful representation of her spiritual and physical guidance in my life from the very beginning. I miss her!
A photo of my husband’s grandmother holding her great grand children.
My 12 year old son’s first shave! Caught him in the mirror with shaving cream and a Trac Two razor with Dad laughing in the background. Just awesome! Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite photo is one of my brother and me in the mid-sixties. He had gotten a cowboy hat and pop gun for his birthday and I am standing behind him in short dress trying to imitate him pointing the gun. The ever annoying little sister…. still am!
My favorite photograph of all time is probably the portrait of my mother in her wedding dress. My mother died in a car wreck when I was young (8), so I never got to talk to her about her wedding, all the preparations… you know, the “girly” details. So this portrait is very dear to me.
My favorite photo is of my grandma Celia, whom I am named after, at the SC state fair in the 50s. At the time of the picture, granny did not know but she was pregnant with my mom. I look at the picture a lot bc it’s like seeing my ancestry in one quick glance.
My favorite photograph is a photo of my grandmother, my mom and me. I think it is the only photo we have of all three generations and I treasure it. You can see the family resemblance that connects us and the bond of love that connects us also shines through in that photo. My grandmother passed away several years ago and I miss her greatly. I have the photo on my desk so that I can look at it every day.
I have a photo from a summer vacation many years ago. I took three neighbor kids to the beach with me. They are three sisters. Our relationship was and is so much more than “neighbors.” We are family that chose each other. The photo has all three sisters in a vertical row, youngest sitting, next behind her, oldest behind her. Their faces shine with the happiness that we experienced all week. We had the best week ever.
My favorite picture is one of my husband and I on our first “date”. We were going to a formal dinner at his work and he showed up to pick me up dressed in a nerdy getup. That photo makes me laugh every time.
My favorite photo is the first photo we took at the hospital right after my daughter’s birth. She looked so tiny and adorable and our smiles just spoke of pure joy.
It is hard to choose just one! My favorite photo is one of my son when he was a toddler mowing the lawn with his Fisher-Price lawn mower going one way while his dad was headed in the opposite way with the gas mower. It is such a wonderful father/son shot, and after all these years, I still have that little toy lawn mower!
I have a picture of my daughters picking blueberries. My youngest was too small to reach high enough on the bush so my oldest daughter picked her up. It is just the sweetest picture.
My favorite photograph is a family photo taken on our wedding in 1997. We were all dressed up and looked great. I like this photo very much, because there I have all of my familiy members together. Since then many of them passed by (grandmother, grandfather, aunt).
My favorite photo is of my grandma and her sister from 1911. They are 6 and 4 years old in the picture. Wearing dresses that their Mom made and pigtails. They have such serious faces, but oh so cute. Looking at the photo now you can see how the new generations resemble bits of Grandma.
The black and white photo is from 1959. I am 3 years old wearing a white crisply starched dress. My father and I are standing in the doorway of the kitchen of the apartment we lived in at the time and my arm is fully extended over my head holding my dad’s hand. He is young and vibrant and handsome. It is one of the few pics I have of us both when I was a very small child and has always made me smile.
I have a picture I took of my husband in the Roman coliseum. It reminds me of the history we saw and I remember thinking that the world seems smaller now. And it reminds me that we were there even though sometimes I still can’t believe it.
My favorite photo of all time has to be a picture of my son at one year old. It was a professional picture, but it was just a magic moment the photographer captured. She sat him on a white chair and threw a white blanket up in the air and let it drift down onto his head. He just grinned and she snapped. We call it his “angel baby” picture because everything is white and soft focus and he looks so sweet. He’s 13 now, and I can hardly believe how he’s grown!!
I have a picture of my three children from Christmas Eve several years ago—we always take a picture with Santa’s cookies every year—it’s a beautiful picture of all three of them and is very special to me.
A photo of my then 3 month old son smiling while he slept in his infant carrier… That’s my fav.:-)
My very first memory is sitting on the sidewalk playing with a yellow match box truck. I was so happy just sitting there zooming away. Life is so easy when you are only 2 years old! I have a photograph of it and looking at it reminds me of my childhood. Happy, innocent and carefree.
My favorite photo is one of my Dad at probably 18 years old……in that photo I also see my cousin, my son, and hopefully someday, one of our grandchildren. My Dad is still with us, 92 years and going strong, and I cherish this photo now. But I can only guess what it will mean to me down the road.
My favourite photo of all time is a black & white candid photo of my then 6 year old daughter dressed as a flower girl with a beautiful french twist up-do in her hair with her arms around my husband’s neck and she’s planting a kiss on his cheek. His smile coupled with her dimples is adorable in it’s purest form. He’s since passed away and she’s nearly an adult but that photo shows how much they loved each other better than any other.
My favorite picture is one I took with my family first time we visited the ocean park. We were all smiling, I was probably 11 at age then, it’s seldom that we went out for fun with my lovely grandma, who had left us for more than 10 years, I miss her so much
My favorite picture is a black and white photo of my brother, sister and I when we were younger. We were just walking down the street, but I love the picture and the emotion that it captured … happy times 🙂
My favorite photograph is s professional one my grandfather had taken of himself before he got sick. It looks exactly how I remember him.
My favorite photo is one of our granddaughter. It was taken on a trip to Disney World, and she is wearing a Disney Princess hat, and we have always referred to her as “our little princess”. The photo makes me smile every time I see it!
My favorite picture is of my two children. They are 1 and 4. They have coordinating outfits on. But, what I love most is that they are barefoot and my son’s little foot is hanging over my daughters leg. That wasn’t posed and it makes me smile every day when I look at it!!
My favourite photo of all time is one taken of my two kids taken when they were 7 and 5 making pancakes in our old kitchen at our old house. It was a spontaneous picture taken that I have had re-printed many times. Great release!
A family photo of my sisters, my mother and me taken from the 80s when we were young. From the looks of the photo, it was a normal weekday morning. My sisters and I were dressed in our girl scout uniforms with bookbags in hand, and my mother was dressed for work. Everyone looked just so happy. My mother is deceased and, now that I am a parent, I love this photo even more.
I started to tell about my little one’s first photo.. then I thought of the one with the noodle bowl on her head, then I remembered the one in her uncles work boots and yellow safety jacket (she’s four.. hilarious!). I went to my album and started to look and realised that each time I take a photo of her.. it becomes my favourite .. because its the last stop in our journey through life together and there’s the hope of the next to come.
Its a photo of my little family of 4 with our Great Nan, taken on her 90th birthday in January this year. She lives in England and we are in Australia so it a precious memory of our time with her.
My favorite photo is one taken by a photographer of our family in our yard with our first cat. We were all so excited to have a prof. pic taken in our own yard with our dear family cat.
My favorite photo is one of my daughter when she was about 2 years old. She was laughing out loud, and i just happened to snap that photo. I love that photo and i had it enlarged and it hangs in our home.
I have a picture of myself with my children taken when they were little in front of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller center. It was dusk, so the tree was was all lit up, but there was enough ambient light in the sky and from the street lights that it created a beautiful warm glow over everything. I’m sure I could never recreate that picture, it was just perfect timing that it came out so beautiful.
My favorite photograph of all time is one of my grandmother and grandfather. I didn’t get to spend much time with them as a child, but got to reconnect when I was older. Now that they have both passed, I love looking at that photo.
My favorite photo is one of my mother the summer of 1999. She is sitting on a stack of manure bags under a big tree in her front yard next to her flower garden. My mother passed away a few months later. I love looking at the photo and seeing her so happy in the place she loved best; at home in her garden.
I have a picture of my four kids that makes me smile. I managed to capture their little personalities and freeze in time.
These are all so beautiful to read!
My favorite photo — and I, too, never knew it until this moment — is a black-and-white taken in 1934, of my mother as an infant, just one year old, lying on a blanket in a New Jersey park on a spring day. Her mother (my grandmother) lounges on the blanket, while *her* mother (my great-grandmother) sits in a lawn chair next to them. In the back you can see their black early 1930’s car. I’m guessing my grandfather took the photo. About a dozen years ago my mother had it enlarged and framed and it was in my parents’ house. Last year my mom died suddenly of a brain hemorrhage and now I am inheriting that photo. It shows the strong women I come from, and every time I look at it I am grateful to my great-grandparents for coming to America.
My favorite is a photograph of my dad being “team-hugged” by my two sisters and me when we were little girls. The love just radiates from the picture.
A photo was taken by my dad of my first born son sleeping on my shoulder the day after we came home from the hospital. It is definitely my favorite photo.
It is probably my picture of me holding my daughter after she was born…my first…the love of my life!
a picture of my dad a couple of summers ago cutting and eating his favorite food outside on the picnic table… a watermelon
My favorite photo is the one my husband took of our 4 kids for Mother’s Day. They decided to give me a “relaxation” box and in it they put all kinds of things to help me relax. They included the picture in a frame so that I could look at all 4 of them and not worry. The picture was of my 4 teenagers “sleeping” in a bed!
I have photos of my Grandpa holding each of my 3 kids the same way on my legs as babies. I was very close with my Grandparents and my Grandmother didn’t make it to see my last child born, so it means so much to me that all 3 of my kids had, at least, a moment of how special my Grandpa was.
One of my favorite photos is of my son walking down the street on the way to the bus on his first full day of school. You cannot see his face, just the back of him carrying his backpack.
My favorite photo of all time is one that was taken the morning after my daughter was born. My son (who was 2 at the time) arrived at the hospital to meet his baby sister, and the first thing he did was unwrap her blanket and play “this little piggy” with her toes. My husband snapped a close-up photo of it, and it has my hand around my son’s, who is craddling his baby sister toes. SO cute and special for us!
My favorite photograph is of my 3 children taken on vacation after just leaving the Grand Canyon. We’d left on Route 89 and kept seeing this meandering brook beckoning us from the roadside. Finally we could stand it no longer so we stopped, found a place to park and took our shoes off to play in the water. What fun that was! My kids were overjoyed to know their parents, along with their grandmother and aunt, would stop and play with them in the water. This photograph was snapped as they rested on a big boulder in the middle of the stream. The look of sheer contentment and peace on each of their faces just blows me away today 20 years later!
I have a picture of my brother and I in the backyard our our great aunt’s house when we are about 6 years and 4 years old. It is special to me because my brother and I aren’t as close as we used to be, and it reminds me of when we were best friends and playmates!
I have a photo of all my children on the trampoline together. I love it for obvious reasons — because it’s of my children — but also because they’re having fun with each other. They’re enjoying their childhood.
When the picture of our son and my dh building a treehouse together comes up on my screensaver, I just have to stop and say “Ahhh”- it was a magical time and they are so very cute together.
I love a picture that I took myself of my twins at the beach. They were on the steps of the beach house and one was behind the other and they gave each other a big hug and I had it printed in black and white. They are 17 now and slightly bigger! 🙂
My most favourite photo of all time is me and my mum and dad just after my graduation. I was the first person in my family to graduate and it was a very proud moment. Lesley
My fave photo would be my kids happily laughing in a garden at Frasers Hill. They looked so innocent and carefree and they absolutely loved the cool weather!
My favourite photograph is of my maternal grandparents. My grandfather died when my mom was 2 so I never met him (and she barely remembers him). They look so completely in love in the photo and it makes my heart melt whenever I look at it.
My favorite photo of all time?! That is so hard! 🙂 I guess it would be a pic of my grandfather and me at Wurstfest in New Braunfels Tx. He was teaching me to dance: polka style. 🙂
Lauren
I have a picture that I made into a canvas print of my husband and I on the beach in Aruba. We had hired a professional photographer to take pics of us and she captured the love and happiness we felt for each other. I proudly display it in our living room!
A photo of my grandmother and I at my wedding. She was a lady of few words, but she had a huge impact on my life. The photo reminds me how much she loved me and my family.
I’m not sure my post showed up, so I’m posting again. My favorite photo is one of me and my dad that was taken when I was a little girl. He died when I was in the third grade and that picture is how I will always remember him.
It has to be a family picture we had taken in Port Aransas, TX 2 years ago. My oldest son, who was 5 at the time had the most beautiful smile while holding his 3 month old baby brother….precious memories!!
My favorite photo . . . wow, that is hard! Between my kids and grandkids, I don’t think I can pick just one! Plus being a scrapper, you tend to get many GREAT pics!
My favorite photo (posted in my stamp room) is one of my husband on his bike with our two sons, little Paul on his back and Dave on the back of the bike, all smiling. This reminds me of what a wonderful father he was to our sons and a loving husband to me. I miss him. He died on his bike in 2004.
My favorite photograph of all time is one picturing my hubby five years ago. It was taken on a summer day and he is just gazing and looks miles away with his thoughts with a cute smile on his face and not noticing that this photo was taken. Four years ago hubby passed away at the young age of 44 and now every time when my eye catches this photograph it makes me smile and think of the found memories we had together.
A photo of my twins when they turned 1, they are sitting in a wooden wagon. It is a wagon their great grandfather made. The wagon was actually one of his last pieces of wood work he made before he died. It is amazing and we are so lucky to have it. The girls did not want to take the photo or sit still (who am I kidding, they never sit still) so it isn’t the best photo of them but it is still precious.
My favorite photo is of our family the day before my grandchildren moved out of state. My dad had cancer and it was his last photo. Such bittersweet memories but it is very precious to me.
My favorite photo is of my maternal grandparents at a family BBQ from the 90’s. They both had the most perfect, genuine smiles and that photo was perfect. Even while dying at the hands of Alzheimer’s Grampa’s smile never faded…that photo was the last one of he and Nana smiling together though. A precious memory!
My favorite photo of all is one of my Dad holding me as an infant with my three brothers and sister. We lost my brother when I was nine, and my Dad when i was eleven. This is the only picture I have of him with all us kids. I have so few memories, and even fewer pictures, this picture is priceless to me.
It is so hard to pick a favorite when photos hold such special memories in time but one of my favorites is a picture of my husband and I holding our son on the day his parents arrived to meet their only grandchild. Pictures of the three of us are precious as my husband passed away from cancer 5 months ago now….each one is a memory of him that we treasure.
My favorite photo right now is bittersweet. It is my wedding photo. My husband and I are going through a difficult time right now, and I am praying that we will make it through this.
There are lots of photos that are special to me – but- I will say for this question – one of the photos of my husband and I after our wedding ceremony was over and we took more photos outside of the church. It looks like a white, small, quaint country church, and my hubby put his arms around me, and we are hugging on the top of the stairs – my dad took my wedding photos – and its one of my favorites.
I have two favorite photographs. One of each of my kids when they were very young. They were both taken candidly, so they did not know I was taking their pictures. The expressions on their faces are very “thoughtful”, like they’re pondering life’s biggest questions. They’re very intent and unaware of the camera. They are printed in b&w and are framed in my bedroom. I just love them!
My favorite photo is of my parents at prom in 1952 – my dad still had hair – and they looked so happy and YOUNG!
My favorite pic of all time is one of our family posing on my dad’s motorcycle, which was our only mean of transportation back in the days growing up in Indonesia. It shows how our family of 5 (parents, with 7 year, 2 year and 1 year old kids) travel. Yes, it wasn’t safe, but we had to make do with what the family could afford at that time. For me the picture symbolize my parents resilient and it also show our family closeness.
My favorite photo was taken June 14,2008. My youngest on wedding. The pic shows my oldest son,my youngest son and my husband standing in row. They are standing sideways, hand in pocket. Smiling. A year nfd five days later my husband died. The pic holders special place in my heart.
My favorite photo is one of my parents on their honeymoon in 1947… so simple at a cabin up north and they found a bear trap. It’s in black and white and framed in my living room..I miss them a lot. hugs
I honestly can’t pick one favorite. The first pictures of each of my children are priceless. I also have a picture of me and my grandma that I treasure. I can think of a dozen more off the top of my head that are really special to me.
When my mother and father were still newlyweds, she took a picture of him asleep. She said she took the lampshade off of the only lamp they had and placed it so that it lit his face, aimed the “brownie” camera, and took the picture. It was about 2″ X 3″ and has remained the most often reproduced picture of our family. The truly special thing about the picture is my mother’s words when she would look at it: “he’s was just so beautiful!”
My favorite photograph is of my mom and dad standing by their conversion van-dad has his camera around his neck and mom has her polaroid in her hand-but the reason I love this picture is my mom has one leg bent and foot on leg and she is looking up at my dad with such a look of love-it is priceless…
One of my favorite photos is the professional photos I had done when my DD was turning 1. She is a spring baby so I had bought some flower for her to hold. She ended up chewing on them through the whole shoot. I was so frustrated with her that she wasn’t posing nicely. But when I saw the proofs it hit me that that was exactly who she was at that age – putting absolutely everything in her mouth. It’s still one of my faves and a reminder that getting photographs of the REAL person is so much more important than getting a “nice” photograph.
My favorite picture is one of me with my best friend in Key West when we were just out of college with no worries. Just having a great time. It always makes me happy when I look at it.
My favorite photograph is one of my family taken on the beach in Panama City Beach. We were wearing brown tones and it was at sunset. It reminds me of a wonderful family vacation, carefree and no stress! My children are so grown up looking in this picture and it reminds me that they are changing, becoming adults. It’s my screen savor on my phone and my computer.
Black and white picture of my sisters and me from the 60’s. Jumpers and pin curled hair was the thing.
I’ve always told my kids that “you are all my favorites ” so I couldnt pick just one. But shots of my grandma in her 90’s posing with my kids – she has the biggest smile I’ve seen and that is so special.
It is hard to pick just one but have a photo of one of my grannies that I will treasure forever. Though life didn’t always treat her good, she was just one of the nicest, kindest people alive.
Wow…one photo? That is extremely hard because I treasure them all. I guess one of my favorites is a picture of my kids posting with “Wolverine” at Universal Studios. He had them all pose as if they had muscles and swords coming out of their hands. Now that two of my kiddos are graduated from college and moved away from the state, it reminds me of the days when we could take family vacations together. Oh…another one is of my mother and my two brothers who have all passed away now. The photo was taken just before I lost my first brother. I miss them all so much…so that photo is very special. I’m not in it because I was taking the shot…
My favorite photograph is a picture of my father, his sister and his brother when they were young children. They decided to dress up in their “Sunday best” and go to a local photographer’s studio to have a surprise portrait made for their mother, my grandmother. You can tell from the photograph that they obviously dressed themselves because the boys’ ties are crooked and their hair is a bit messy. My aunt definitely took the most care in getting dressed for the photo session and she’s sporting a huge bow atop her head that matches her drop-waist dress, which was very fashionable attire for little girls at that time. I’ve always loved the photo but cherish it even more now, as all of them have passed on.
My favorite photo of all time is a picture that was taken of my brother holding his daughter after our wedding. She is about 3 and was a flower girl. It’s a close up of their faces and she is intently looking at the boutineer he is wearing. I just love having that little peak into the moment the two of them shared.
Gosh, tough question but the winner will be a photo of me with my dad at his wedding to his current wife. It was taken over 20 years ago and was just an impromput snapshot but it just makes me happy looking at it sitting in a small frame on my mantel.
I have a picture of me and my grandma hugging, framed and standing in my bookcase. Sadly she passed, she was the greatest! 🙂
Every photo we have of our three children together is special in our house, because every photo we take now has our son missing.
He was our youngest and he passed away with cancer 7 years ago last week. He would have been 30 this month. We have one lovely smiling photo of him taken by one of his sisters when he was 21 which is precious.Every time I look at the photo I wish he was here. But,really as I said every photo with the three of them is special to me!
I actually have 2. The first would be a picture of my husband and i with our daughter after she was born and we became parents. I may not look so good, but what a special moment! The second is a picture of my hubby looking down at our son when he was born. You can see the emotion in his face and know the pride he was feeling. Two of the very best days of our lives!!
I am a ‘transplant’ 1,000 miles from home and the terrain that surrounds me now is very different from home. I have a worn postcard that I keep copies of both at home and at work that reminds me of the beauty and serenity of the mountains of home. It says a lot about me that I miss the environment more than people, but that’s just me.
Pictures capture such amazing memories. They freeze moments in time to hold forever.
So hard to choose just one…but my fav is one I took of my father sitting at the kitchen table reading his paper and drinking his morning coffee. It was such a perfect image of Daddy . I have it hanging in my kitchen so I can say “good morning” to Dad every day!
One of my nieces was the tiniest little thing. For her first birthday, she got a Kid Sister doll. We have a picture of her squatting inside the box, with the lid closed. Cutest ‘doll’ ever made. And, she didn’t even fill the box up.
My favorite photograph of all time is a photo of my husband and son. They are walking together and my husband is patting our son on the head. It is such a great picture of a father/son relationship.
i have a photo of my youngest, dressed as Indiana Jones, exploring in the backyard, with the most intent look on his face. I photoshopped it to a sepia tone and had it printed on canvas.
I have a wedding photo of my grandparents that is precious to me. My memories of them are as elderly people. When I look at this photo, I can see the hope, the playfulness and exuberance of their youth and I feel very connected to the cycle of life. Just this past week, I created two projects using copies of this photo!
It’s the picture of my grandson looking over my son’s (his dad) shoulder, with his cute hat on at a bit of a rackish angle. My grandson’s eyes peeked out from the brim of the hat, were such a soft brown, with long lashes and the sweetest smile ever. Sigh
The first professional photograph of my two children! It always reminds me of those sweet days of the two of them meeting each other and our family being complete.
A very special and favorite photo is one of my mom and I on my wedding day 15 yrs ago. We are in the bridal suite and she is “arranging” my veil. We are both looking into the mirror and that is how the photographer took the pic-looking into the mirror. My mom had the same photo, in the same bridal suite, with her mom on her own wedding day. So recreating it was my one goal for my mom and I as I was planning my wedding. Now that she is gone, it is a treasure to have both of these photos of amazing women who loved me so much and contributed so much to who I am today.
My favorite photograph is my parents first Christmas together as husband and wife. They were married on Sept. 9, 1951. The are posed in front of their Christmas tree. They look so young and full of happiness and hope. They were blissfully married for 46 years until my father’s death in 1997. I’ve used that photo on Christmas cards given to my uncles and aunts.
I have a great photo of my son and daughter just after my son was born. It still melts my heart when I see that one. Families are priceless.
Eveline.
My parents took a few photos of my sons together when they were very little on a tricycle that is one of my favorite pictures. There are so many of my boys that are just precious to me. I also have a favorite bridal portrait of myself that I gave my husband to put on his desk.
It’s a wonder when the camera captures a person’s joy. My fav is a group picture of my family at Disneyland. Nighttime, in front of a huge orange pumpkin, as only Disney can create, the family looking exhausted but oh, so happy!
My favorite photo of all time is my son with Minnie Mouse from our first family trip to Disney World when he was 3. I have great memories of Disney as a kid and have LOVED that place all my life. I wanted him to love it just as much and he did! In the picture, Minnie is kneeling down and my son has his arms wrapped around her with his cheek pressed against hers. He has the sweetest smile on his face. I have it on my desk at work – it’s so precious.
I have one of my daughter at 4 weeks old where she is laying on my arm and I am bending over to place a kiss on her back. It is black and white and amazing. It is my favorite of all the professional photos I have of my kids
It is a photo taken 5 years ago of my grandson, my husband and me beside our motorhome just before the three of us drove from Chicago to Seattle with side trips in-between. Favorite memory, ever.
My favorite photo has to be one of when my daughter was a baby and had a darling little sailor dress and a cap on, she was sitting on a picnic table on July 4th and was about 8 months old, but it is who she is sitting with that makes it so special, my Dad, I lost him when he was only 58, so it is a wonderful picture of the two of them…I just love it…and now talking about it, I wonder where the picture is, I better go and try and find it..lol…thanks!!
My favorite photograph is of my two sons with their arms wrapped around each other and the goofiest looks and smiles on their faces. The photo is about ten years old now and a great reminder of how good friends they were before the teen years 🙂
It’s hard to narrow it down to one pictue! I treasure all the pictures I have of my family. When we were little, all of our family photo albums were lost to us, so now I am vigilant to capure all our family memories every day! I must say, any photo of our two boys getting along are my faves, lol.
Awesome, awesome, awesome release! I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these new things! I have so many photos to choose from, but right now my favorite is probably of my son and husband on his first Father’s Day. It’s a beautiful picture.
There is a photo hanging over our fireplace of the kids wearing their traditional German clothes, the girls are in dirndls and Anton wearing his dad’s lederhosen. The are in our wagon with the German flag flying off the back. We were at an Oktoberfest for Anton’s birthday. That photo can bring back the whole day just looking at it and it was a top 10 day for sure!!!
I have a picture of my daughter and son that makes my world oh so happy. It was in her 1st birthday. Their faces are closed together and the way that my son is holding her its just priceless. And you can actually see in her face how much love she feels. Awwww so beautiful.
Thanks for the chance to win!!!
My favorite photograph of all time is the one taken with my grandparents. They lived in Scotland and we didn’t get to visit too often, so that picture is a real treasure to me.
My favorite photo is one of my son holding and petting a kitty. He’s a typical boy, so the picture of him giving so much love to this kitty is pretty priceless!
Gosh…. my favourite photo of all time? That’s really hard!
One of my very favourite photos is one of my son, when he was three & my daughter, when she was one. They’d gone into the living room and were sitting together on the end of the couch, with their backs against the arm rest. They looked so sweet and cute, I wanted to take their picture. But when I pulled out my camera, my son started making faces and Sage started laughing– and I got a bunch of photos… but the best one was where they were both laughing and enjoying each other immensely! It’s a photo that represents they’re relationship and how they really delight in each other!
A black and white photo of wee boys in 1950s in Glasgow!
I have a picture of my dad and I. It’s value grew when he passed away in 1995. He has such a loving look and smile on his face, one that I am so grateful was captured on camera.
My husband, a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, deployed to Iraq in 2003, two months after our third child was born. I took frequent photos of our three children (ages 6,3,and newborn)and sent them to the warzone. My favorite photo is also his favorite photo, the one that made it to Iraq and came back safely with him after his deployment.
Oh that one is easy! I have a photo my mother took of me and my growing family. We were walking along the beach – me (very pregnant), my 1.5yo daughter, and my husband – and the sun was shining and the water was beautiful.
My favorite picture of all time has to be one of my daughter and father shortly before he passed on. I’m so glad we all had one last great visit.
My favorite photograph is one I took of my mom at my great niece’s birthday party in February. It was the last picture ever taken of my mom, because she passed away June 1st. I will cherish it forever.
My favorite photo is from when I was 7. We took a huge family photo on my grandparents front porch. The grand kids are all grown now, but we love that photo and are hoping to recreate it with all the new family members at our next reunion.
My favorite photo is a black and white of my mother in her early twenties. It’s home was a shelf in the house where I grew up and I used to love to look at it. In her glory days, my mother looked a lot like Sophia Loren and I remember being mesmerized by how beautiful I thought she was. Unfortunately, my mother passed three years ago but I am happy to say that that picture now resides in a bookcase in my home (and a smaller version in my studio) where I can look at it daily and recall all the happy memories I have of my best friend.
I have a photo of myself, my sister and my dad. My sister and I are very young. It was my birthday and I was given a metal mushroom toy. My dad wanted me to kiss my sister to thank her. I have this expression on my face that is priceless. Who gives a three year old a mushroom. 🙂
My favorite photo has to be my wedding picture of my husband and I. I married the love of my life and my best friend all on the same day. We have been married almost 41 years and I still feel the same way!
My fave picture is one of my wedding pictures. I was smiling for the camera and my husband was looking down at me smiling. And no one told him to LOL. Its just a very sweet pic that shows true love. I also cannot help but love all of the photos taken at the hospital the day my son was born! 🙂 those that are the first moments of getting to see and hold him are priceless.
There are so many photos that come to mind. But if I had to choose, I think it would be the one of me holding my granddaughter for the first time. It’s on my bedside table and is the first thing I see before I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning. It reminds me of all the unconditional love that she brings to all those around her and never fails to put a smile on my face.
My favourite of all time is a close up I took of my baby daughter’s feet. It’s a black and white, and I took it with film, not digital. The shot is as perfect as she is.
This a hard one! I am a photographer but the photos that mean the most to me are always the “emotional” ones rather than the “technically perfect” ones. Right now, the photo that tugs on my heart is one of my father and my daughter as a baby. He is kissing her neck and she is laughing hysterically with her chubby hands on his face. I feel their love every time I look at it!
My favorite photo is of my 2 kids. My daughter was in high school, dressed in her flowing skirt & lace top, arms folded, & a laughing look at her brother that says, “You are so weird!” He was in college, wearing odd baggy pants & some vintage T-shirt, an exuberant smile, & shaggy hair.
I like it b/c it shows their totally different personalities.
Hhhmmmm, this one is hard. I have so many fave photographs. One is a black and white photo my husband took of me holding my newborn daughter. He caught us in a tender moment. Another is a picture of my granny and uncle. She died when I was 3 so I cannot remember her much but she is just so happy and casual in this pic. Another is a picture of me at Mrs. Maquaries chair in Sydney. I cherish that trip. So many memories.
There were 10 children in my family, and I have one picture of all of us in it, including my parents. A few years ago I had copies made and sent it to my brothers and sisters in a Christmas card.
I love an old picture of my parents taken when they were standing almost shoulder deep in the ocean. Its cropped close so all you can see it them and the ocean and they look so happy with their hair matted and messed up from just playing in the ocean. Their arms are arouns each other. They have had lot of problems over the years and this photo captures all that is good and the love they have.
My favorite photograph is of my granddaughter who has cerebral palsy standing in her walker with her leg braces on. She was probably about 4 in this picture. The fact that she is standing upright and has a beautiful smile on her face reaches right into my heart! Anytime people saw this tiny thing walk in her little walker they would stop and watch in awe as she shouted with a huge smile on her face, “Look out, here I come!” Everything she does takes more effort and more time but she is always so determined and strong.
I was suffering from post partum depression with the birth of my daughter. I took a picture of her sleeping with her hands folded in the sweetest pose. It was as if she was praying for Mommy to get through this difficult time.
My favorite photograph is one of my husband and I on our honeymoon. We went horseback riding on the beach then rode our horses in the water. It was such an awesome experience and there were pictures to buy after that were taken there.
My favorite is a series of photos. My husband and I would take photo booth pictures with our two boys since they were very little. Each summer the four of us would get in the booth and take them. Of course this was only possible until we couldn’t fit in there any longer. All four obfuscate love those pictures.
My fav photo was taken by my SIL. It’s subject is my daughter and 9-month old granddaughter. The background is a brilliant blue sky and the two of them are smiling at one another with such joy and love. Two gorgeous redheads…brings tears of happiness to my eyes.
Connie C.
My favorite photo is the new born picture of my twin boys. Not the best photo but it represents the beginning of so much.
I have two. One is of my daughter at 3.5 months old. She was watching me eat a Cadbury chocolate bar. When I was finished I gave her the wrapper to play with. She kept putting the wrapper to her mouth trying to see what the big deal was! Absolutely adorable photo. The other is of my son at 4 years old. The photographer really clicked with my son and could really make him laugh. The picture captures my son head held back rocking backwards with laughter. You can just see the sparkle in his eyes. I smile when I see the photo because he is dressed like a little professor and the laughter is almost audible just by looking at the photo.
I have a beautiful photo my my Darling daughter standing in the middle of the yard with her arms wrap around her dog and she is laying her heard on Frankies(the dog)back. and Frankie stoond as still has she could taking in all the love. I so miss my Frankie Rue we had to put her down this year. I have other photos of Abby (our Darling Daughter) still in diapers with Frankie sitting on the bed and Abby is hugging Frankie with all her might.
My favorite photo is the one of my parents when they first became engaged. They are sitting in front of a Christmas tree with tinsel. It look magical to me.
My wonderful Dad died of cancer 3 years ago yesterday. He was such a amazing father full of life and laughter. Our family years ago, the year “Titanic” the movie was released, went on a dinner cruise around NYC. There is a photo of Dad and I joking and posing at the front of the ship like the characters in the movie. I smile every time I think of that photo and that day!
That’s a touch one. It has to be either our wedding photo, or the first photos of our 2 boys. I think I will go with the baby photos ( and I can’t decide which one is better). There’s something about that first look, when they come to the world. All wrinkled and pink, on my chest. Nothing fancy, but extra special in every way. My oldest’s picture was taken with a regular camera, so it’s not even that clear, but it will be cherished as one of the bests.
I have a photo of my son playing outside. He has such a serious face but he was having so much fun at the time.
My favorite is the last picture I did of my grandmother before she dies. It was a sunny day, there were lots of flowers outside his home and most importantly, it was a good day and she smiles!
My Mom passed away a year ago and I have a picture of her when she graduated from nurses training (1948) on my dresser with a little angel figurine a friend gave me.
I have a photograph of my father as a teenager in the 1930’s, posing on his new bicycle….beeming with pride. Love that photo! He later became a passionate photography fan, and your new camera stamp reminds me of him very much.
My Favortie Photo is one of my grandfather and I carving pupkins. He just looked like he was having the time of his life with me! Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration you provide us all with!
I have a black and white photo my mother took of me when I was one or two years old. I’m laying on my blankie in fetal position. What I love about it is how she captured the light coming in the room. The light and shadows are fantastic.
I have an 8 x 10 color (tinted in pink, cream, aqua and brown) photo of my parents, my brother and me. My brother and I were about 3 and 2 years old respectively. So innocent! A wonderful vintage family picture.
I should say the picture of my DD when she was born, she was so alert and looked right at the camera! BUT the one I TRULY adore is her first birthday, covered in chocolate cake beaming the biggest smile ever!! It’s my screen saver and though I have seen it a GAZILLION times…I NEVER tire of it. Her joy gives me joy!
My favorite is a picture of my daughter on my husband’s shoulder in the corn maze. They are walking away from me, and the light has caught their hair and shines in the corn. It makes me happy to remember that moment whenever I see it.
My favorite photo is of the day I had my braces taken off. I had a huge smile on my face, and the whole thing just oozes out HAPPY! 😉 Thanks for a fun week of releases, as always. Can’t wait to get some new supplies and starting creating.
I’d have to say my favorite photo is our wedding picture. We are not camera lovers, so we are not in many pictures.
My favorite photo would have to be one of my wedding photos. We had it enlarged on canvas and framed and is on the wall leading into our bedroom. I love that photo so much and it was a moment of pure happiness and it makes me smile each and every time I look at it.
My fave is a pic of my son at my wedding when he was 7. All his shots were “stiff” (posed, forced smile, etc…), but the photog was able to get one impromptu shot of him looking slightly away and down from the camera. He had a shy smile on his face and it captured his quiet spirit on such a hectic day.
I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite photo. I have so many that are special to me for different reasons! Though my favorites are all candids, I feel like that is the type of photo that truely captures a moment.
It is our last family photo. My oldest daughter is going off to college and our family is never going to be the same.
One of my favorite photos is one I can no longer find..ARGH! It was a picture of my oldest daughter sitting in my lap after a particularly hard softball game when she was about 9 years old. That picture has become the holy grail in my mind because it cannot be found….
I come from a large family of 10 and one night someone took a picture of all of us before bed. We are lined up oldest to youngest, barefooted, in jammies, and all smiles. It is like a stair step looking at our heads.
It is a picture of my grandson, sitting in his high chair on his first birthday reaching for the cake with all the concentration and determination only a one-year old blonde-haired,blue-eyed ball of wonder can muster. Melts my heart every time I look at it and remember that day.
My favorite photo was taken at my parents’ 25th Anniversary party. It includes the five of us (my parents, my two brothers, & myself). It is my favorite as it is the last family photo before my father passed away.
My favorite photo is of my husband holding our 1 year old son’s hand while walking in the field. I love it because it is so simplistic yet powerful in message of the love and nurturing between a father and a son.
My favorite picture of all time is one from my wedding day. After the father-daughter dance my father and I stepped off the dance floor for my husband and mother-in-law to do their dance. As we stood there my Dad leaned down and gave me a kiss on the check and the photographer was able to capture it. This picture captured so much emotion and the relationship my Dad and I have always had.
I have a photo of my husband after we both finished a hard year in school. He is in the middle of catching a football, grinning from ear to ear and having a blast. I have it by my desk to remind me what is really important amidst the stresses at work.
It would have to be a photograph I took of my grandson, Kendell when he was about 15 months old, and his Great Grandmother, (my mother in law) who was suffering from Alzheimer’s and living with us in her last days. He had just learned how to pucker to give a kiss and on that day, he’d decided that Grandma needed a kiss. Her poor body had been ravaged as well as her faculties but she loved to hold and interact with the grandchildren and I snapped the most delightful photo of her and Kendell in profile as they were simultaneously puckered to give each other a kiss. I shall always treasure it!
My favorite picture is one from my wedding in Maui on the beach. The background of big blue sky and beautiful water reminds me of how much we love that place and what a trip we had. My family and friends all look so happy. It’s a picture of the most important people in my life.
This is a tough question! I have too many favorites. But I guess I would have to say, the framed photo on my desk at work. My husband and me, in an old church directory photo, and somehow it captured both of us really well. It just makes me smile.
My favorite photo is a shot from the back of my husband and 5 year old grandson holding hands as they walk to the top of an incline on a golf course in Colorado. Something about the light at that moment just emits a quiet tenderness in the shot.
My favorite photo is one of my two girls when they were little. They are sitting on our front porch near our flowers, wearing big, floppy hats to keep out the sun. Both their personalities shine as they were trying to be patient with Dad’s photo shoot. Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite photograph is one of my husband, daughter and I taken in our first trip to Vancouver. There were flowers everywhere , such a beautiful scenery.
Hard to pick just one photograph… I love all the photos of my grandson, logan! I guess I’d have to say the picture of my mom & dad when they were on a date. They are walking hand in hand and look like movie stars – young & in love…so much ahead of them.
It is a snapshot of my brother at age 5, sister age 4, and me and my twin sister at age 3. My mother said we had just come from a garage sale. We were all wearing wearing various hats from the sale and happy smiles. I had only one shoe on. It reminds me that together is a great place to be.
One of my favorite photos is a snapshot of me, my kids, my dad, and my grandmother sitting on the front porch steps. Four generations all together!
One thanksgiving we took a trip to Oregon instead of staying home for the big meal. We can through San Francisco on the way home. There is a picture that someone so graciously offered to take of us all with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Priceless.
I am the world’s worst photographer, but every now & then I seem to get a GREAT shot by total accident. One of those is definitely one of my favorites. It captured my Dad, in his late 60’s, dirty after a hard day of farming, with his frayed and worn John Deere cap, holding a tiny orange fluff-ball kitten, with the beautiful wide open prairie in the background. There’s such a tender look on his weather-worn face & the kitten is so small in his big rough hands. And it just so totally captured him in that moment.
My favorite photo is of my Father-in-law and my Son when he was a tiny baby. It was a precious picture at the time and now it has very special meaning since my Father-in-Law has passed.
My favorite photo is of my husband and I on our wedding day. It was taken from behind us & shows us looking at each other. I have it in a frame with the song lyrics we danced to. A daily reminder of our commitment to each other 16 years ago as it sits on our nightstand.
I made a scrapbook frame of my children and their families that I have in my kitchen. It makes me so happy to look at it every day.
I have one of my husband and I on our wedding day that really sums us up well, and despite my many poorly neglected photos, this one is framed and on the way.
My favorite photograph of all time is one taken of my two sons and I when we were just home from our first vacation trip to Yellowstone National Park. We were wearing matching tee-shirts and they boys are so tan and smiling…my hair is one of the better colors I have had throughout the years and it was such a wonderful trip. I display it to this day…25 years later.
My favorite photograph is my mom and dad’s wedding photo, given to me by my grandmother. My mom and dad eloped so it was the only photo taken that special day. It is amazing to see them at that special moment of their life.
My favorite photo is one that was unplanned and so natural. My kids and I were leaving church one beautiful fall morning, and we happened to be parked by the little playground where the preschoolers play. I let my kids run around a bit – I believe my son was 6 or 7, and my daughter 3-4, so they could fit inside the small plastic houses and on the slides. They were actually asking me to take photos! So of course I had my point-and-shoot and happily obliged!
I took our Christmas card pic that morning – gorgeous morning light, beautiful, happy smiles from my kids. Total serendipity! 🙂
Sans all of my 4 precious children and daughter-in-law, the one most cherished is a picture just taken a couple of weeks ago for my 49th birthday. It was of me and my dad and it was the first birthday of mine that I’ve been able to spend with him in 20 years since I lived away from home (California). I was born on Father’s Day so we celebrated together.
My favorite photo is of my grandfather on horseback. He was doing his military service in the Swedish cavalry and he looked so stylish! I used to sneak up to my grandparents bedroom just to look at it. I so wanted that cool photo! Many many years later it was given to me. I was the only one wanting it when my grandmother died. It’s such a special photo!
My favorite picture is one of my sons and husband together hamming in up. They were much younger so it brings with it such wonderful memories.
My favourite photo is of my kids which they gave me for Mothers’ Day a few years ago. The bought a photo frame and obviously had a lot of fun clowning around taking photos to fill it. The perfect gift!
My favourite old photo was taken of my Dad helping young Prince William and Prince Harry up into the royal helicopter that he flew with Princess Diana standing by their side looking so happy – a real one off private shot but one that now has sad memories.
My sons surprised me when they were in high school by getting their photo together in coordinating outfits.
I love it because they planned it all themselves.
Oh, my! That is like trying to pick a favorite child… At the moment one of my favorites is a 1950 black and white picture of my mother on her honeymoon. She is sitting on the railing of a balcony looking out onto the lake and my dad took the picture. It looks like something out of a magazine. Just beautiful.
My favorite photograph is one that I took of my son walking on the beach. He was walking in the sand at sunset, and the picture is of the back of him, with a perfect reflection in the wet sand. It’s not just a pretty picture, but it also reminds me of a very fun trip that the two of us took by ourselves.
Wow! That is a tough question! I love photos and have them all over my house in frames on the walls and tables and counters. I think my current favorite photo right now is one of me, my husband, 5 year old son, and 1 year old daughter. We all made a silly face and our daughter is looking at us like “what? these are the people I am stuck with? They are crazy.” Her expression looking at us is just priceless.
I would have to say my favorite photo is a generation picture. It includes my Grandmother, mother, myself and my granddaughter. My grandmother and mother have passed away, and my granddaughter is now 16. It makes me realize how very quickly life passes by and how important those special people in your life are.
My current favorite was a photo I took 2 years ago of my 2 boys. My oldest (3) was explaining something to my youngest(1 1/2) with his arm wrapped around him. It is such a sweet photo of them and captures them beginning their real interest in each other. Before that it was all dislike, disdain, and distance from my older one.
My favorite photo is from our daughters Master’s graduation, with our family and my mom. Mom was still in good health and it was a very happy beautiful day!
My favorite photo is of my mother and myself. It was taken many years ago and we were simply being silly. I love it as it represents the fun times that we had together, as well as the special connection that we shared. My Mom is no longer with us but I can look at this one picture and the past comes back with such freshness.
My favourite photo is of my little dog, Quincy, looking lovingly at me. Sitters lost my little guy when I was away on holiday. Thank you for the chance to win!
My favorite pictures are a series of photos of our Christmas family photo shooting.
My son was three and all of us trying to make serious faces and funny faces.
It was such a fun and wonderful moment we shared and I will never forget it.
So hard to pick just one… but it would definitely have to be a picture of my husband and my oldest son, in the hospital shortly after he was born. Seeing my husband gazing with such love, devotion and awe at this new little baby that we had brought into the world is a memory that I will cherish forever!
I have a photo of my mom, me and my daughter that I love.
It was the first and only picture that I have of all three generations together. My daughter was about 3 months old.
My mom has been gone for a long time but even talking about that picture makes me tear up.
My all-time favorite is of my 2 daughters holding wooden letters their father cut out that spell L0VE. It’s such a fun picture but it’s more how they are looking at each other—like they really do like each other!!
My two boys, they are 5 and 3, they have bandanas around their heads, holes in the knees of their jeans, dirt on their shirst, and their arms around each other. The older one is smiling at me, and the other is looking at his brother and laughing out load! They are 27 and 25 now, yet this photo captures their personalities to this very day. It warms my heart and brings a tear to my eye every time I look at it.
My favorite photo is a family shot of my parents, my brother and me taken on Christmas Day. It’s a sweet memory of when we were young and innocent and life was so much simpler (not easier, just simpler). My parents are both gone now but that picture is a lovely memory.
My favorite photo is one of my kids shortly after the birth of my son.. . all three are cuddled up like they are sleeping, looking so adorable!
Chris L.
My favorite photograph is one I took at a State Fair. It’s of my feet while on one of the sky chairs. I ended up entering that photo into the State Fair juried show and won an award of excellence.
My favorite picture is of my nephew on his first Easter. He was 10 months old, just starting to walk, had major bed head and a black eye (from the day before ) and he found his first two eggs at the same time and was so excited….the look on his face, plus the hair and the black eye and being unsteady on his feet is just the funniest combination. There are sentimental photos that I cherish, but my nephew on Easter always makes me laugh out loud when I see it, so I think it’s my favorite 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my parents when the were newlyweds. Dad was in the Air Force and they were stationed in Panama. Mom was pregnant with my brother. They are so young! Life was before them and they were going to take the world by storm! It is typical of the early 50’s. Such a lovely picture! It is the only picture I have of them from that time of their lives.
In my first year of teaching, at the end of the year, we had a class picnic. My mom, grandmother, and I helped coordinate the entire thing. I have a photo of my Nana, Mom and me standing in the park and it’s special because growing up, those two ladies were a huge influence on my life. 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my son taking his first steps. He had just let go from holding on to a chair and was trying to ‘come to momma’. The happy and astonished look on his face makes me smile everytime I look at the picture.
I have a very old photo of my mom & dad when they were dating. It always amazes me how young they were and I wonder what they were thinking and what they were like at that age.
I have a photo of my husband and son eating ice cream. The photo is too cute because my hubby was showing my son the proper way to mix cookie and ice cream. My son was only 2, but he was really paying attention to this lesson.
This past Christmas my sister captured a wonderful snap shoot of all our little kids on the floor opening gifts and sharing…It is so rare for the kids to hang out with all their cousins and to me it showed that even though we are all spread across the east coast during the year- even as little as they are they understand the bond of family and special moments. I just hope in the future we get more of these moments.
I have no clue what’s happening ..but my comments are just disappearing after I click post!
It’s hard to pick just one favorite. My favorites right now are of my niece. She is almost a year old and changing every day! We don’t live close enough to see her in person often. So I eagerly wait for new photos to see how she has grown and her cute little expressive face!
My favorite pic is of my grandma doing what she loved to do most- cooking- and that too in my home making my favorite dish!..so that is the one I have framed after she passed on last year.
This is a tough question. I was having to choose between at least four photos that I cherish. I’ll go with the first one that came to mind…I have a photo of my daughter when she was about 9 months old looking over my husband’s shoulder as he’s holding her. In this photo, she is smiling a big smile and due to the lighting you can see how blue her eyes are. This photo is special because she’s so content in her Daddy’s arms and many photos that we took do not show how deep blue her eyes were.
My favorite is one of my mom’s mother (my grandma). It’s special because I can see my features in her face, but also because she died two months after I was born. When I look at her photo, I know I would have loved her.
I’m about 5, seated in my dad’s lap as we plunge down a water slide. The film is over-exposed and has a weird pink hue. Just a reminder that my parents used expired film because they couldn’t afford better…But they took the kids on a mini vacation to a motel just so we could enjoy a pool with a water slide. That’s sacrifice! That’s love.
A photo of me and my son on top of Mt Baldy in Sun Valley Idaho. The wind was blowing and the sun was shining and well……I just love it!
It’s really not possible for me to pick just one favorite photograph, so I will describe a favorite that I see each day. It’s a picture of my family with my mother’s parents on their carport in New Orleans. I love it because my grandparents are gone now, and sadly, so is the home photo. Not only does it remind me of my family, it reminds me of the fun we had in that town before our families homes were destroyed by Katrina.
My grandfather had a stroke before I was born which left him unable to talk and he required a cane to walk. He rarely left the house. My favorite is a black and white photo of me as a chubby little girl of about 2 or 3 yrs old standing next to him on my great grandparents farm. He has his arm around me and a big smile on his face. I don’t remember the incident but love the photo.
my favorite photo is of my 3 children & my niece at my daughter’s wedding. the wedding was outdoors and the photo was taken in the gazebo. now, any photo of my grandson is precious to me. thanks.
What a difficult question. I tend to take photos so I have many to chose from. I don’t generally look good in pictures, so one of my favourites is a photo a friend took of me, wearing a medieval style dress I made. It’s a semi posed shot, but the wind picked up at just the right moment and provided added movement in the dress.
My favorite photo is of my dad and I just as we stepped out to make the march down the aisle at my wedding–it captures so much love.
So hard to choose just one! A couple years ago, after a lovely Mothers Day brunch, my husband and I took our 4 children out in our community to take some pictures. I have one of all of them up in a large tree. They look so happy and carefree in the sunshine. It’s a special photo!
Hard question because I have so many favorites but one of the very best is my cat Frank stretched out next to my daughter (who was a newborn). He is bigger than she was and he is just looking at her with this comic expression on his face. He was the best cat (he passed away) and that picture is exactly how I remember him.
I have quite a few photos that I took from my brother’s wedding day. It’s just a lovely collection that really captures all the emotions of love and excitement that day.
I have so many that i love, but just got a picture of me and a great group of good friends, they gave the photo to me as a going away present.
There are so many to pick from, but one of my favorites is that of my husband and son (when he was about 2 – he’s now 16). They don’t take many pics together nowadays (my son is not a fan of having his picture taken-like me) but once in a while I they do and I treasure it!
I have a photo of my dad when he was 3 or 4, with cute little overalls on and and blond hair and big blue eyes. There is a different photo of my oldest son at about 2, also in overalls, with big blue eyes and blonde hair – I love looking at those photos together! My dad passed away 12 years ago and I wouldn’t say my son really looks like him now, but I love that for one moment, captured in photos, they looked so much alike…
My favourite picture is of my two children aged 3 and 5 years. We had been to a school fair and they had their faces painted. The thing I like most about it is the way they are looking at each other with such innocent affection. Got to melt your heart!
It is of my mother on her wedding day, she was beautiful.
There are so many favorites. Any with my children certainly are favorites. One from my childhood makes me laugh every time I see it. I’m 3 yrs. old and scowling. My mother made me leave my grandmother’s house to go get my picture taken by a photographer. I didn’t want to go! I told her if she made me leave I wouldn’t smile. I kept my promise. When they first got the pictures my Mom was mad but, later it became one of her favorites too!
I have a photo of my kiddos framed and hanging above our fireplace it was taken about 9 years ago, it is the 2 of them with their backs towards me walking towards the ocean.. I LOVE it because they are the BEST thing I have ever done, they are in my FAVORITE place, and I just think that back photos stop time .. and it was a perfect moment I get to relieve each time I see it!!
One of my favorite photos is of my cousin’s little boy, dragging his crocheted blanket along behind him on a pier on a beach. It’s kind of one of those “could be the stock photo in a picture frame” shots! Very cute.
My favorite picture is of my mom singing with a big band. She is just so beautiful and it brings back memories of her singing around the house when I was growing up. Her and dad would also put on the big band records (yes, records .. like Glenn Miller!) and dance sometimes. I loved watching that too. Maybe that is why I enjoy that music so much. Mom is now 85 and if the moment is right I can hear her humming a song .. 🙂
I am always the one behind the camera, so my favorite picture riight now is one of my family that actually includes me! Everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. A small miracle!
Right now it is definately our first ultrasound picture of the little one we have on the way. We had been trying for so long without success. There are no words to describe how we felt when we saw him moving around that day & heard his little heartbeat.
ooohhhh this is so hard because I have so many favorite photographs or different things in my life… but the one that jumped out at me first is a picture that I have a copy on my fridge… it is of me and my Grandmother when I was only about 2 or 3 years old just about to kiss and I absolutely love it! It is in black and white and that story tells so much of my Grandma whom I miss every day still. Thanks so much for letting me share!
A picture of my daughter when she was 4-5 and she was no longer wearting todler clothes. It was a close up of her face. It was a growing transition that I captured in that photograph.
My favorite photograph is a picture of my husband’s family with 5 generations in it. It has my husband’s sister with her son and his sister’s mom, grandmom & great grandmother. It appeared in the Philadelphia Bulletin as a family interest story in 1950.
My favorite picture is of my son when he is about seven. I had made a HUGE mistake by perming his hair and he hated it. As the perm grew out I let him grow his hair out a bit too. One day he was playing Indiana Jones, with a headband around his head and my Dad captured this. The looks on his face was priceless!
My favorite photo is of my daughter when she was 2ys. old. and riding a wooden horse that her grandfather had made her.
My favorite photograph is one of my daughter when she was in 1st grade. We were sitting in the pickup waiting for the bus and I snapped the shot of her. It was an awesome photo and it was the photo that taught me that really good photos, alot of times, are unposed.
My favorite photo is one of my daugter – her first official kindergarten-photo – she smiles for the camara like she never did anything else – to cute.
My favorite photo is one of my grandparents wedding, they were so young when they got married and both look very shy and adorable.
Hmmm, there are so many that come to mind. The one that brings me the most comfort is one of my mom and dad sitting in my sister’s house together with the sun shining in behind them. It was shortly before my father passed away and now my mother has also passed. Their faces were peaceful and I think of the photo often. There are so many that also come to mind of my children too.
My favorite photo was of me when I was 7 years old at Christmas. I started piano lessons that year, and I had asked Santa for a piano for Christmas. My parents couldn’t afford a piano so they bought me a 15 key table top piano. I was so happy when I opened the box and saw the organ – I began to cry and “snap” went the photo! 🙂
I have a photo of me and my late son when he was approx. 9 mos old. I am sitting indian-style on his bedroom floor holding him up in the air, giving him a kiss. It’s a side profile of both of us and you can see his dark, curly hair and the dimple in his cheek from him smiling as I was lifting him up! It is framed and sits on my night stand so he is the first thing I see in the morning and the last one I see at night!
My favorite photo of all time is one of me, my father and my daughter (at 3 months old) taken at my nephew’s wedding in 2003. He was sick with cancer and it was the last picture I was able to take with him and the last time I saw him. He died two weeks later. I cherish the picture and the memory.
My favorite photo is a snapshot of my son (when he was little) curled up with his Dad on the sofa. Totally oblivious to anything else going on, they were carrying on the biggest conversation. Many years and many photos later, this one remains my favorite because it so perfectly captures the relationship between these two most special men in my life.
I have my mother’s graduation from high school 8×10 photo… she was born in 1914 and died when she was 58… really young IMO. I was only 17 yrs old when she died… 7th of 8 children… so this photo is out in my living room and I love it because I didn’t get to know her for very many years! So at least the photo reminds me that I did have a mother! Thanks for the chance to win and what an awesome question even though it brings tears to my eyes! = )
My grandmother has a photo of my grandfather and I when I was about a year old. She was an antique dealer and had purchased an antique iron tub but realized once it got home that it wouldn’t work in her house. They put the tub under a big oak tree in her back yard and turned it in to a pool for me (and later my brother). Growing up I remember thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread. The photo is of my grandfather sitting next to that tub and me standing in it in my swimsuit and I’m telling him something or showing him something and he has a look on his face like whatever I am saying is the most important thing he’s ever heard. That picture sums up what kind of grandfather he was – he always gave me his full attention and treated me like I was the most important thing in the room.
I think that would have to be one taken of my two daughters when they were 7 & 9 in a studio run by a friend of mine. My eldest looks protective of her younger sister and it’s a beautiful black and white print which has hung on our lounge wall ever since.
My favorite photo is of my nephew this past new years. He was only a couple weeks old in the picture and he’s got the biggest smile going on, it’s just so sweet! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my husband holding my daughter on his shoulders. The happy interaction between the two is priceless!
My son at 2-ish… in a red stripe jumper, reaching for both sides of a playground wooden walk across … blond curls, a half smile and a look of intensity. I have it poster size … on my office wall. He is currently 22 years old.
It reminds me so much of who he is … and who he always was … and who he will be.
One of my favorites is when my oldest son (who had just turned 2) was meeting his brand new brother for the first time. He is leaning over with eyes wide open and giving little brother a kiss on the cheek. So precious… makes me swoon just thinking about it.
my favorite photo is one of my boys when they were both small. i took a picture of them on my bed in the evening, all freshly bathed and in their pajamas. My oldest, who was 3 at the time, is hugging my 6month old son and they are both all smiles.
the reason why i like this photo so much is because my boys (who are now 12 and 10) still have a good relationship. They still will cuddle next to each other during movie night at home or hug each other randomly. They do squabble like all sibblings would but they always make up with each other. i just love their special bond.
One of our wedding pictures – it’s even more special to me 32 years later and because of all of life’s “storms” we’ve weathered together – my husband is everything to me!
I’ve got a photograph of me [at about age 2] sitting on my grandpa’s lap, facing him about to lean in for a kiss. Just by looking at that photo, I can clearly remember how scruffy his mustache was, the way the pipe he smoked smelled and the way his generosity and love were never ending. It always brings a smile to my face and happy memories to mind!
Thanks for an awesome week…I can’t wait to fill my cart!
I have a family portrait of my parents, my sister, my brother and myself when I was about 2 years old (pigtails and fufu dress and all). I think this photo means more to me than any other.
Oh, this is a tough one! Can I tell my favorite 100? Okay, this year it would be the picture of my son at his first wrestling tournament holding up a pin ~ representing his first pin ever. The previous match he was totally mismatched with a kid who was ranked nationally. (They are supposed to match kids up by age, weight and experience.) He was beaten quite badly, and wanted to leave the tournament. After much coaxing he did come back and wrestle again, and had his first pin ever!
One of my favorite photos is of my daughter, Emma. She is sitting on the beach at my friend’s mother’s house on an old patchwork quilt. She looks beautiful and timeless. That was such a fun day and you can see it in her precious smile. It is hard to choose out of all of the pictures of that sweet little girl, but this one is by far one of my favorites!!
My favorite photo is one of my husband in his Army uniform taken before he left for Vietnam. We had been recently married and he was so young and handsome!
Tough question, I have so many faves of all my kids…but I also love all the old photos of my great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and any relatives from when they were younger, fun to see how family “traits” follow you through so many years!
My favorite photograph that I have taken is the one I took of my mom and dad together at my brother’s wedding, a month before my dad was killed in a car accident.
I have a picture of my oldest as a baby and my husband laying on their stomachs looking at a baby mirror. I caught their faces in the reflection of the mirror. I adore this photograph. The were both grinning ear to ear! It just melts my heart.
I don’t have just one. My favorite photographs are all of my family pics because they evoke such sweet memories of our journey together.
We have a picture of my entire family at my late grandmothers 80th birthday. Everyone on my side of the family except my baby boy (who was not born, yet) is there. Many of those people are now gone, but still in our memories!
Water, water, water–ocean, lake, or river–they all work for me and take any stress away.
It’s very hard to pick out one favorite photograph out of the thousands we all possess. If I had to pick just one, it would be a photo of my grandfather with my brothers and I at Disney World. We used to visit my grandparents every year when they lived in Florida and my grandfather couldn’t wait to take us around the park and have a blast! :o)
I was told all my life that being pregnant would never be possible!! So after five months of being married, I started feeling sick?? I went to my specialist and he came in ALL EXCITED my husband was confused as was I he was HAPPY when I felt bad and didn’t know why?? He told us we were pregnant and that it would be a LONG road!! Well everything went well and I just KNEW I needed to have pregnancy photos taken!! I was 8 months pregnant and we took our first baby our pomeranian Zoe with us!! When Beckett would kick inutero Zoe would bark and then lick my belly and as LUCK would have it we were able to get it on film while we were taking our photos that day!! =)
To this day even Beckett (now 5) LOVES the photos and they remind him that ZOE LOVED him even before she met him!!
My favorite photograph is of my 10th birthday party. My birthday is nov5 so it was a Halloween theme. All of the costumes where so fun and creative back in the day!! I am 44 now so it was back in THE DAY! A Lao my grandma had made me a really cute birthday cake! Love and miss her!
My mom has been gone now for 5 years and my favorite picture is with her and my two grandchildren when they were 3 and 1. she used a ‘walker’ and she was sitting in a chair with the walker next to her and the two littles were using her walker as a tool to turn somersaults! the youngest little great-grandchild has her arm around my mom’s neck, giving her the biggest hug…and you can see in my mom’s face how happy that makes her. I miss her to this day.
there is a great photo of my Mom, from my sister’s wedding reception. She was usually taking the pictures so don’t remember many with her from younger days. Miss her still.
My sons baby picture. So precious and lovely!
My favorite picture is a candid shot of our second child being before. We went through so much to have her so my expression as well as the dr’s is just priceless. Of course, I accidentally put on the wrong lipstick on the way to the hospital so my lips are awful! I love looking at pictures so much.
My favourite photograph is of my parents on their honeymoon in the late summer of 1946, after my father was demobilised from the Navy and my mother from the WRNS. My mum is in a pretty cotton sundress and my Dad is in shorts and they look so happy with each other and with where their lives had brought them so far and all their hopes for the future and their love for and pride in each other shines out of them.In all the ups and downs of life in their forty years together, they never lost that. So it’s a VERY special picture!
My favorite photograph is of my grandparents when they were first engaged. She is wearing a sailor dress and he has on a shirt and tie. They are sitting on a wall and seem so playful and in love! They lived a happy life and always seemed so in love. Their faith and family were a testament to their happiness.
We have a photo of my son when he was just a few months old that is beyond precious to me. My grandpa was holding him and was making silly faces at him. The pic is my grandpa’s old, gnarled, hard-working hands gently cradling my infant’s tiny head and my son is laughing at his silly great-grandpa. Grandpa died a year later and my oldest is the only one of my kids to meet him.
My favorite photograph is one hubby and I took the day before our wedding. Everytime I look at it I remember how young we were and how excited we were to start our life together. It’s been a great life 🙂
Mine favorite picture is of my two sisters and I. Who would have known they both would pass away so young. This picture is on display in my craft room, they both would have loved it in there!
How hard to pick an absolute favorite! I think it would have to be a tie between one I took of my son when he was 2 1/2 months old. He fell asleep in my hubby’s lap holding onto his finger. It’s adorable! The other would be from this past year when we took old time photos in Branson, MO. They’re sitting at the table playing cards and my little guy (then 3 1/2 yrs old) is pushing up the brim of his hat with a pistol and staring his dad down. So stinkin’ cute my two guys are!
It is so hard to pick my favorite photograph. there are so many. Pressed to do so would be the one of my mom & dad holding my children when they were 2 & 4. everyone is smiling. This photo means somuch to me since both my parents have passed.
There’s a picture of me and my mom, back when I was in high school. I can’t remember exactly what we were doing, but it looks like we were singing to each other. Makes me smile every time…
My favorite photo is picture of my family. My parents and one of my sister have passed away, so it is a beautiful moment that brings back memories of special family time.
It makes me happy to see us all together.

I LOVE photos, and I have so many that are dear. One I love is of my 3 grandsons aged 4, 5, and 7. I was trying to get one nice photo of them, so I told them if they would pose and smile nicely for me – I would take a picture of them doing anything they wanted. I got the nice photo, but I absolutely loved the silly one of them all laying all over each other making funny faces.
My favorite picture is one of my cousin who passed away when he was 35yrs old – it is on my dresser mirror and I see it every morning – he was such a wonderful person
and is missed more than words can say……………
As a shutterbug I can say I have a lot of wonderful photos that I will always remember. For example, I have one of my youngest son looking up at me as we walk in the park, or the one of my oldest (now 10), on the first day of kindergarten, our first dance during our wedding, standing by the Eiffel Tower on our 12th year wedding anniversary. Each photograph makes me remember all the wonderful days gone by and the love that we share.
I have a picture of three little girls from the 1920s. They all have big bows on their dresses and in their hair. It is a picture of my grandma with her two sisters. She has passed on now so the picture is very special to me. She played a great role in my life when I was a little girl.
I think my favorite photograph of all time is a picture of my husband holding our children at birth. In paticular, one of our second child. At the time he was ill with diverticulitis and was about half his size and he was caught off guard with welling up ith tears in his eye. Totally depicted his submissiveness and the beauty this world has to offer….a new life!!
I have a photography hobby business so I have
quite a few pics to pick from. Some of the most
popular photos I’ve sold include one of a magnolia
bloom, a standing cow statue I found in Colorado
Springs, & various floral pics. One of my favorites
is one that I don’t sell… it is a picture of my two nieces
when they were teens. We had just celebrated
my parent’s 50th Anniversary & the girls were tired.
They were resting their heads on each other’s
shoulder. So sweet. Always makes me smile.
My favourite picture is the one where my twin boys (about 14 month old at the time) sit on the floor, one is in a box (got there on his own), and another is next to him, outside of the box. Their faces are so serious as if they were on some kind of a mission lol The composition of their age, posture and facial expressions makes me giggle every time I see that picture 🙂 Love it, love it, love it 🙂
I saw a photo of my parents and siblings taken in the forests of Germany before we immigrated to the US. What made it special was that I didn’t see it until I was an adult. All our other pre US pictures I had seen and poured over again and again as a child, so discovering one later in life was like magic.
One of my favorite pictures is of a black and white of my Grandparents before they were married. It was taken in 1936, my Grandpa is in his baseball uniform with my Grandma (who was 18 at the time) in front of a car from that era. My Grandpa’s sister and her soon to be husband are standing beside the car. The 1930’s were a very difficult time on the Canadian prairies due to the depression and years of drauught, but these 4 people look like they don’t have a care in the world, and are ready to take the world by storm!
I have a black and white wedding picture of my parents that is very precious to me. It was a special time for them so it’s a special picture to me.
My favorite photo is of my son sitting on an old knarly branch while were in in Washington, D.C. before we went to PA for the wedding of a friend’s daughter. I just love it. In fact, we recreated it when he and I went to Paris, France together in the Luxembourg gardens.
My favorite photo is one taken at my wedding. It is of me, my husband, my parents, my brother, his wife and two daughters. My husband and dad are both looking down at my older niece (who was my flower girl at exactly 17 months) who is in my mom’s arms. Shannon’s chubby little legs are sticking out of her dress. Taylor, who was almost 2 months on my wedding day is asleep in my brother’s arms.
My favorite photo is my youngest nephew (now 18) and my daddy (who passed away from cancer) He is sitting on my dearest daddy’s lap. Daddy was so healthy then and he has such a smile on his face. It brings a tear to my eye, even now.
I have a picture I took of my kids throwing leaves into the air a few falls ago. It just warms my heart to see their pure honest giggles and the falling leaves frame it wonderfully.
My dear parents hold a very special place in my heart, so a picture of them, is one of my favorites.
My favorite picture is of my dad holding me when I was
just a wee baby. My dad was my hero, a strong quiet man who was a wonderful role model for our family.
Favorite photo…that is so hard. I am a scrapbooker and love photos. But to pick one, it would have to be of my boys when they were little. It was at a photo shoot and they were playing and laughing and having so much fun together. They are 6 years apart and they don’t have many common interests and they are not as close as they were when they were little. I see that photo and hope that they will again be close and be able to rely on each other.
my favorite photograph is one taken when my my son was two and he is playing ring around the rosie with my husbands parents who are both deceased pictures truly are worth a thousand words
I have a picture of my then 4 year old daughter at a waterpark. she put her foot on a geyser & there is water spraying all around her. The look of absolute joy on her face makes it my favorite.
It’s a pic of three of my favorite things, my youngest, a new red puppy, and a sunny snowy day!
I have a photograph of my favorite place… Niagara Falls (NY side). I know that many have been taken from every angle but its special because the first time I saw it it really took my breath away. Looking forward to the July release, my wishlist is getting quite large.
I have a photo of my daughter and husband. He is holding her at the fireworks show when she was about 2. You can see the adoration in his eyes as he watches her watch the fireworks in amazement.
One of my favorite photos is of my dad sitting in his chair with me sitting on the footstool in front of him. We are both laughing at something and the connection between us is so strong. I was seventeen and he was fifty-three and he died six months later. I wish I could remember what we were laughing about.
Favorite photo – hard to narrow down. One of the ones that comes to mind is actually a photo of my mother-in-law in her one-room school in Minnesota. Most of the other children in the photo are her siblings and cousins. It reminds me that we aren’t too far removed from a very different time in our country’s heritage.
I’m still needing to scrapbook this photo along with her story.
I have an 8×10 of a precious aunt who is a surragate parent to me. It is taken outdoors with a beautiful snowy mountain and meadow in the background. She’s wearing light blue and white with a red hat. She’s 80 years old, and it is the most beautiful picture I’ve seen of anyone ever!
My favorite photo is my parents black and white wedding photo. They looked so beautiful on their wedding day! So full of life and love for each other. They were married for 51 years. The photo is more precious because they are both gone. I miss them so much every day.
Great release! LOVE so many items this month, and my must haves list is really long! 🙂
Family photo at my granddaughters wedding. Four generations, the bride, her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother! Tears of joy, pride and love and the wonderful memories shared with the women in that picture!
It is 3 photos I treasure-One of my mom on her wedding day- Back in 1945 they knew how to take a photo. The other was also in 1945 and it is my dad in his Army dress suit-he looks like a movie star. And the third is my yellow lab Buddy in front of some big yellow Dahlias-I took this great photo and I don’t take very good photos so I am proud of it.
My favorite photo is one of my grandma and grandpa taken on their wedding day in the 1920’s. My grandma was such a special person and I loved her so much. It makes me happy to see her so young and happy.
One of my favorite photos is a photo of my uncle who passed. My aunt dusted the frame and didn’t realize there wasn’t glass and she wiped the photo away. I found a photo almost identical to it and put it in the frame, gave it to her and she smiled and said “Mel your back”! It was priceless!!
Our latest family picture. My mom survived an aneurysm last year and we are all so grateful that she is still with us. And to top it all off, she has had an amazing recovery from it. Our latest family picture reminds me to always be thankful for my mom.
I have a photo that was taken on my daughter’s 5th birthday taken 18 years ago. It is so special because ithe picture includes my parents, my sister’s family and my family. It was such a fun day and full of memories. I cant out the picture away.
When my first daughter was an infant, I was lucky enough to meet my great grandfather and have a picture taken with me, my daughter, my dad, his mother and her father, a true fifth generation photo which I will always treasure.
We took our daughter’s senior pictures. We have this one of her leaning up against a brick wall. She has this look on her face that is so her. Everytime I look at it I realize just how blessed we are to have her.
My favorite photo is one of my husband smiling…he is standing in front of the grill, probably cooking up something wonderful for dinner. 🙂 Sadly, he passed away (too young) 14 years ago. Looking at this photo always makes me smile and remember the wonderful but short time we had together.
My favorite photograph is of my dad sitting with me at about 5 days old on his bent up legs looking out into the lake. It’s a great picture and reminds me of what a great childhood I had living on the lake!
My favorite photo of all time is one of me & my grandmother the day of my wedding…she was just so happy to be there and be a oart of my special day…I am so glad I have that photo of us becuase she passed away exactly 2 months later…
My favorite photo is of my little Latina granddaughter dressed up in her Rapunzel costume (or, as she says, Tangled) with that huge, down-to-the floor blonde wig. The smile on her face is priceless!
My favorite photo is one of my dog Harley. My daughter likes to take Harley outside for pictures. He is laying on the deck with his head turned and his expression in the photo really captured his personality.
My favorite photo is of my dad holding my first son at age 6 weeks, his first grandchild. We came home from Germany the summer after he was born. My dad died the following year and my son was the only grandchild he ever got to meet.
I have a recent new favorite photo. I was able to visit my parents in CA in April, and while I was there I subjected all my family to a photo shoot. My favorite of the day was my mom sitting on my dad’s lap, and the mischevious look on my dad’s face is priceless! You can really see the love on both their faces, and after 56 years of marriage no less! I am blessed to have such great parents.
At my father’s retirement party in 1978, my cousin took a photo of my parents with all five children. A year later my oldest brother was killed in a car accident. It always reminds me of the values my parents taught us and how much they sacrificed to provide for us. They are deceased also, and I miss the three of them dearly.
My father was always behind the camera so pictures of him are rare. There is one of him holding me on my first Christmas and a candid of us dancing at a wedding shortly before he died that I treasure!
I am torn between two – but I would have to say the picture of my brother and I – he was maybe 2 and I was maybe 5 we were eating smores hat ended up all over our faces – reminds me of the simpler times of being kids.
A photo taken 8 years ago of all my mom’s grandkids lined up on a driftwood covered beach – it was grandma’s 70th birthday and a rare occasssion when all 10 kids (4-13 yrs old) have been together. I gave my mom a copy with a large mat that everyone signed – from the younger kids large printing to the precise cursive of the older kids, it is a great capture of a moment in time. It’s family, summer, sun and all things wonderful!
What a wonderful question! Mine is a photo of my Mother and I with my Seattle family. We are the only ones looking at the camera. Everyone else is talking or doing something very natural to them. I can see everyone’s personality in the photo.
My favorite picture is one where my grandmother is holding my daughter for the first time. My mom and I around watching. The age span is 3 months to 85 years. In a few years, my daughter will become a mother and I cannot wait to have a picture of my mother, daughter and grandchild.
My favorite picture is the one of me being held by my mom, just after I was born. I think it perfectly captures a new mother’s love for her baby. I will treasure it always!
I have a photo of myself when I was about 9 months old. I’m standing in an old time playpen with the biggest smile and happiest face ever! This pic makes me smile and get that warm fuzzy feeling! I even sculpted the head and shoulders years ago! It now sits in the “Artist Sanctuary” room.
My favorite photo is of my grandmother. She never took a good picture…always looked like she was pouting. But…we have one great photo of her with a coy little smile. She was a wonderful lady and I miss her very much.
My favorite photo is one for our church directory several years ago. We had an extra one taken with our neighbors who were so much a part of our lives. They have since passed, but we are reminded of them daily by that photo, hanging where all can see.
when my grandfather passed away I was given an old photo of myself at two years of age that he always kept on his night table – the frame was replaced several years ago and the photo is aged and sepia tinted but it holds a lot of memories from years ago
My current favorite photo is of my mom, daughter and me taken last summer along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. My dad had passed away about three weeks prior after a two-year battle with cancer and my mom said that she needed to get out of the house and do something different without looking at a clock. While we had stopped to view the gorgeous scenery, Brianna set the timer of her camera, pulled us together and ended up with a wonderful reminder of our afternoon together. The photo means even more to me since my mom just passed away last month.
My favorite photograph is of myself as a baby. I was less than a year old, wearing a little cookie monster bib, and sitting up with a huge smile on my face, holding on to my feet. Seeing that photo is heartwarming, because the joy on my face is so pure!
I have a picture I took of my children to one of our visits to our state capitol. They were setting on a wall with a huge crabapple tree in the backgroud. It was fall, so the tree was loaded with crabapples. The way they are positioned, by age and height, the taller peaking around the other is perfect. Their smiles are priceless. The sad part is it was taken with a bad camera, so it isn’t very good quality, but the content and composition is fabulous.
My favorite photo is one of my Dad and I taken on my wedding day. He passed away 10 years ago and I have this photo in a shadow box with some other older photos and keepsakes. Makes me smile whenever I look at it and remember how happy he was for me on my wedding day.l
Photos of my kids growing up are all special to me – couldn’t pick just one!
The new sets are awesome!
I’m not the best photographer, but I have this great picture that I took of the Eiffel Tower at night.
I have eight sisters and we were attending a family wedding when we gathered around my wheelchair bound Dad and sang “You are my Sunshine” together. My Dad loved music and this was his “signature” song…the one he sang to all of us as babies and toddlers and continued with his grandkids. He has since left this world, but the smiling faces on the picture that we have really shows just how much we loved this gentle giant of a man!
After my Mom passed away, I found a photo of my sweet Aunt who had passed away when I was only eight. She always came to visit us during summer when we were out of school and would spend lots of time playing, laughing, reading with me. She never had any children of her own and always made me feel very special and loved, so I treasure that photo of my beautiful Aunt!
This is hard. One of my favorites is a picture of my daughters sitting on the deck with their arms around each other. They are best friends.
I have a photograph of my dad when he was around 30 years old, riding a John Deere pedal tractor, making a funny face for the camera. It reminds me that we need to let go & ‘act like a kid’ sometimes! My dad has been gone for 10 years now, and I cherish that snapshot more than ever!
The one that comes to mind is a photo of me and my nephew, who is also my Godson…he was about 4 and we were at his school program. It was taken right after that. He’s now 17 and just graduated high school!
My very favorite photo of all time is a picture of my family taken in the hospital the day after my son was born. It’s a closeup of my husband and I looking at our son, and I feel like it captures perfectly the overwhelming feelings of awe and love that we felt after our baby was born. I love it.
Photos hold special memories and it’s hard to choose one favorite, but I have to say a picture of my dad in his Navy uniform is the first one that came to mind.
One of my most favorite photos is of my Husband and his Father. It was thanksgiving and they were horsing around when I was ready to snap a photo, my FIL planted a huge kiss on my husbands cheek. The look on both their faces was priceless. Sadly, my FIL passed away as a result of a tragic car accident just a week later. It is a truly treasured photo of a happy time and place.
My favorite picture is of our mother and my three brothers and myself. We had a great day and everyone had big smiles. That picture is so very special as it was the last photograph of our mother.
This past spring I took a photo of my son before school on crazy hair day. I truly captured his personality. That is my current favorite photo. Thank you for another great release and a chance at winning such great stamps.
I have a photo of my friend and I peeking through a hole in a cave in Newfoundland. It reminds me of such a fun summer of adventure.
My favorite photo is one that was taken the Christmas before my mother passed away. Mom had alzheimers disease, and had reached a stage where she usually wasn’t “behind her eyes”. She generally didn’t know her family or much of her life history. On that Christmas, we were at the care home. I was helping Mom unwrap her gifts. For about 30 minutes, Mom was back with us – she knew who we were and was even telling some of the corny old puns she was known for. As we opened gifts together, one of the staff members at the care home snapped a picture of us laughing together. I didn’t even know the picture had been taken until a few weeks later, and it perfectly captured the Mom I remember. Such a precious gift, and a photo I will always treasure.
My favorite photo is of my mom and I together when I was 12 years old. My mom passed away four years ago and when I was going through her belongings I found the dress she wore in that picture. I didn’t have the heart to toss it so I kept it for memories sake.
My all time favorite. Photograph is
Four generation picture of my mom, myself,
My daughter and my grandson. It something
I will cherish for ever. It was a moment in life
That make you smile and said wow. 4 generations
How amazing is that
My favourite photograph is one of my granddaughter on her first birthday sitting on my knee while she blows out her birthday candle…..Just magical!!!
I have an old photo of my Great Aunt Bessie in a wonderfully pensive pose. One year i took my mom for a photo and had her pose like that-one of my favorites of her!!
My very favorite photo is one of me holding my new son after we came home from Ethiopia with him. I was feeding him and he’d fallen asleep in my arms and I am looking down at him. It was such an amazing moment to have captured the miracle of motherhood, my sleeping child in my arms….finally. I made a LO with that picture and titled it, You are my Miracle. And he is.
A picture of me and my hubby taken by a passerby a few days before we got engaged, when we were on vacation…. 22 years later, it still always makes me smile.
My favorite photo is of me and my then boyfriend (now hubby) – instead of looking at the camera, he’s looking at me. It’s just a simple candid shot, but it makes my heart so full and so happy every time I look at it and see the love on his face.
My favorite photograph is one of my two boys playing together at the playground. I managed to capture that sweet moments when they were both smiling, happy and sharing! 🙂 it always makes me smile to look at it.
My favorite picture is a picture that was taken at a friend’s wedding. I was a part of the wedding party and it is a picture of me and my future husband. We were so happy to see our friend start a on a new journey with her husband.
that’s easy! The picture of my daughter Hannah in the princess dress I made for her at the Renaissance Festival taken a few short weeks before she died in a car accident.
The picture of my father holding his new yellow lab puppy for the first time. He named her Mindy and they have been each others life. We are a family of animal lovers and I have never seen a bond so strong as the one they have for each other. I truely believe she played a huge role in helping him beat lymphoma. She was recently very sick and we weren’t sure she was going to make it. He would lay on the floor at night with her and just softly talk to her, willing her to make it through. I look at that photo often and you can already see such love in both their eyes, even at that very first meeting.
My favorite photo is of my daughter at Christmas when she was almost two – full of joy and delight. Right after that she got thick glasses due to being severely farsighted, and didn’t get contacts until seventh grade. She hates all pictures of herself with glasses, and didn’t believe how beautiful she was until at age 15 starting her first job at a restaurant and getting hit on by the employees and customers. Fortunately, her very muscular older brother also worked there, and was able to put fear of bodily harm into all the other guys. My favorite picture is also one of her favorites.
My new favorite picture is the family portrait we had taken this year. My children are 19 and 15 and I see the wonderful young adults they have become…and it reminds me I did something right!
When my daughter was just under a year old, I took a picture of her at the flower gardens. She was sitting playing with a flower and giggling up a storm. I loved it so much, that I wanted to take more just like it. It sparked my love for photography and I started my own business. In order to advance my skills, I started shooting Weddings for free. Wedding Photography is really expensive, and so many people can’t afford to hire someone to help capture those memories. I’ve been able to help a lot of amazing people, many of which sparked a lifelong friendship. It feels great to know that you really can make a difference just by donating your time.
My favorite photograph is a picture of my sisters and I on my wedding day – it is a close up of all of our faces. I love seeing us all looking our best and each so different yet similar. It is fun to look back on and see how much each has changed over the years.
I think my favorite is a Christmas with Santa photo of me and my two brothers…my younger brother is crying and my older brother is smiling and I am looking at the camera as if to say ‘really?’ It’s sepia toned taken in about 1957…very nostalgic.
I have some pictures of my parents that were taken about the time of their high school graduation. They are in a park, just kids having fun. I like all the photos of my parents, of course, but those are some of my favorites.
A picture of my mom, my sister and me taken just three short months before my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer. It was the last photo we had of the three of us together. The picture sits on my craft room table.
My Fav Photo is of my whole family on the beach for my wedding day…it’s so special because we hadn’t had a family photo for years…priceless imo
One Christmastime, I was wrapping presents on the floor next to the Christmas tree, and my husband fell asleep on the floor next to me, and my kitty cat curled up right next to him. I took a picture of them together, and it captures everything cozy and happy to me.
A photo of my grandpa marrying my husband and I. In the picture he is praying over us. He was a pastor and he has passed away since. I am so lucky we got the chance to have him do that for us. I miss him but will cherish that memory…
When my daughter was 5yrs old, her favorite carton charter was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I made her costume of her favorite – Donatello. Her smile and bright eyes in that photo all dressed up – says it all. I love that photo.
My favourite photograph of all time is a picture I took of my son when he was about two and was quietly playing in with a mud puddle after the rain. I love pictures when the subject doesn’t know you are watching.
My favorite photo is a picture of my daughter. She is about two and she has her hands clasped together and she is looking up. She looks like a little angel child. She now has an angel child of her own, but I still love that picture.
I think my favorite photo is of my daughters Christening. Its jut such a happy photo. My husband and I all dressed up holding our perfect little angel all in white. Just brings joy to my heart.
That’s easy! It’s the one taken right after my son was born. He is so precious and tiny and his thumb and forefinger were closed together in a beautiful “OK” symbol.
My favorite photo is of my husband holding our oldest daughter, who at the time was only a few weeks old, and they were both asleep. They just look so peaceful and happy.
After my mom died unexpectedly from a heart attack at 58, we developed some film in her camera. A few weeks before, She and my grandmother made a trip to the old cabin where my great-grandpa and grandma had lived. When I picked up the pictures, there was one of my mom leaning out one of the cabin windows waving…..it was like she was telling me goodbye. I feel like that last picture of my mom is a special gift and is so precious to me.
My favorite photo is one of my fiance and me from 14 years ago – we were falling in love and it was the start of our relationship. We were so young and seems like another lifetime when I look at it. It represents my 20s. I will cherish it forever!
My favorite photograph of all time would have to be of my swimming with a dolphin. I know that might sound crazy but here is why…..Swimming with dolphins is something I had always wanted to do….I love dolphins. Well I went through a 5 yr battle with a rare form of cancer in my leg(sarcoma) and after coming back 3 times I had to make the unthinkable choice to have my leg amputated at 32 years old. If I hadn’t made that choice it could have spread to my lungs or liver & would have then been terminal. So after I healed my mom, my little niece & I went to Discovery Cove in Florida and I got to do what I had always dreamed of. So not only does that picture represent something I always dreamed of doing it represents what I had been through & what I had conquered. By the way, I am now 6 yrs Cancer Free!!!!
One of my favorite pictures is of my husband and I with our first granddaughter when she was about one year old. She is sitting on my lap and we are both looking at her. You can see the love in all of our faces.
My favorite picture was taken 23 years ago when my husband brought our 3 children to the hospital to meet their new brother. I can still feel their wonder and amazement and hear their whispers as I look at this photograph.
My favorite photograph of all time is a picture taken of my daughter by her daycare provider. She developed it in black and white, which I think makes it even more classic. It’s a close up of her face and upper chest. That day they had been playing in the kiddie pool so she just had unders on (no shirt). Her hair had been wet, so it was swept off to the side in a single barette and left to dry in it’s darling waves. She has a serious look on her face, no smile and a bit of Oreo cookie crumb in one corner of her mouth. I love it!
My favorite photo of all time is our son when he was about 6 years old. He is hanging on the porch railing with his dirty little hands being all boy with a the sweeetest, happiest smile.
Eep… I’m not sure if I have a favorite photo. There’s one of my husband and I from our engagement shoot. It’s just our feet: his cowboy boots and my bright red, freshly pedicured, sandaled feet. Totally captures our personalities.
One day I took my kids to a local park and zoo near my parents’ home. I spent many summer days there growing up, so it’s a place that means a lot to me. My daughter was tired toward the end of our visit and without being asked my son picked her up and carried her. I was walking behind them and was able to capture the memory with my iPhone camera. It was a rare, special moment of brotherly love.
What a great release! Oh my, how to choose one favorite photograph. Well, one of my favorite ones is a black & white photograph that my daughter took several years ago of my son’s hands while he was holding a live starfish. She captured so much emotion in that one photo. She’s a wonderful photographer. Thanks for a chance to win.
My favorite photo of all time is one taken at my niece’s wedding two years ago. The photographer took a picture of my niece (the bride) and my mother and me. Mom passed away last September, and that is the last photo I have of the two of us, and on such a happy occasion. I will treasure it forever.
Mine is a professional picture done of both my boys when they were 1 and 3….I just adore this picture of my loves!
Hmm…another tough one so I’ll go with the 2 that came to mind right away…the picture of me holding my son in the hospital the day after he was born…he looks so tiny and I’m so young…fast forward to my wedding day 18 years later…me in my wedding dress and my son in his tux just before we leave home for the church. Moments I ponder in my heart always.
A baby picture of my triplet daughters laying on the floor together – it was the first picture of the three of them that they were all smiling, eyes open and looking at the camera!
LOVE LOVE LOVE everything! Especially the frames, Blueberry and Wisteria paper, Roses, Foliage- Icould go on and on! The contributors ideas are fabulous too.
There is a photo of my dad and I when I was a little girl that I just adore.
My favorite picture of all time is a picture of my daughter, she was around 6 months old and she is looking out the front window of my parents house. The way the picture was taken and the reflection on the window is amazing!
My favorite photo was taken of me about age 6 standing I. Front of our Christmas tree in my new cocktail dress, fur stole and plastic high heels complete with big teeth and knobby knees and scraps on my shins. I was mortified when my Mom told me she’s show it to all my prospective boyfriends when I grew up. BUT I’m proud to say that I have learned to embrace all my imperfections and now adore this photo of me at 6!
My favorite photograph is of my son when he was two years old. They were taken after Christmas with all his toys and he was the cutest ever beaming with happiness over what Santa brought him. He is 22 now, but still cherish those pictures the best. Thanks for the chance and what a fabulous release!
When my daughters were about 4 and 2, we hired a photographer to take those black and white close up photos that were so popular at the time. The pictures were beautiful, and they are hanging in our living room still (it’s been 10 years since). She captured their beauty as well as their spirit and personality, and I still love looking at that picture.
My favorite photo is an old fashioned style black and white family photo taken at Columbia, California during one of our vacations when the kids were young. They dressed us up in 1860’s clothes, posed the five of us around my seated husband and told us not to smile. Of course, we got the giggles – who’d have thought not smiling for a photo would be so hard? They finally got a serious shot (except for the dancing eyes). I smile every time I see that picture, such happy times!
my favorite picture is one that was just taken recently…my oldest daughter graduated from college and my youngest daughter/child graduated from high school. My family has never had a family portrait taken and this is the only time I have gotten a decent picture of all five of us together!! it brings happiness and sorrow to my heart at the same time…i am so proud of my three children and that they are all going out into the world and will be successful; but i am sad that that chapter of my life is over!(Taking care and seeing my children daily)
It is so hard to pick just one, but I would have to say it is a photo that I took of my dog. I managed to catch him just as his laying on the bed and looking up at me and the highlight in his eyes is perfect. It’s the quintessential “puppy dog” eyes and it gets me every time.
My favorite picture is one from when I was 5 years old. It is a picture of my mom, my dad, and myself. It’s the only picture I have of all of us, and the only picture with my mom and dad together that I have.
Oh my goodness – so hard to decide! I’d have to say my fave is one of all the nieces and nephews sitting together, making a crazy face. (They always get rewarded for a being good during the “real” photo shoot by getting to do a couple silly ones at the end!)
My favorite photo is one which shows the hands of my grandmother surrounded by the hands of her greatgrandchildren. It’s beautiful.
My favorite photograph is of my son and daughter with my husband’s grandfather. My daughter had seen her great grandfather many times, but my son was only able to meet him this one time, since he passed away just a few months later. We have pictures of each kid giving him a big hug and kiss and he looks so happy! While my son probably won’t remember him, he will always have this picture to remind him how much his great grandfather loved him!
A tough choice, can’t make just one. Could be the one of me and my now deceased husband on our wedding day coming out of the church, or my daughter in her Brownie outfit, missing front teeth and stringy hair, or the birth of my only grandchild immediately after she was born.
I have more than one favorite. First is a picture of my parents and siblings as adults. Next is a photo of me and my husband and children. And the third, is a scenic photo I took of a sunset on the beach of Southern California.
There is no way I could pick just one. Some of my favorite pics are of my kids. Moments that have been caught on camera that depict an expression or feeling of that very moment. Priceless! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of us together early in our relationship. There’s just something in our eyes that said how special this was going to be! 🙂
My favorite photo is one of my daughter taken before she realized the camera was on her, and she’s got a huge crinkly nose smile in the photo!
My favorite photograph is one that I took of my dad while testing out my camera. Little did I know that that would the last picture we took of him before he got really ill. That picture holds a special place in my heart of the more carefree and happy days…
My favorite photo is one of my grandson. His smile is so sweet and innocent and it just melts my heart when I look at it. It’s on my dresser where I can enjoy it every time I pass by.
My favorite photograph is of my dad, my younger sister and younger brother and me, taken 4 weeks before he passed away of cancer. It was probably the last photo of him looking like himself and you could tell he was happy and aware of his family surrounding him. I was happy we could step away from the cancer for just a few hours and enjoy our last Christmas all together.
The first one that came to mind is when I was about 3 or 4, it was Christmas and I am wearing a red dress with my long blonde hair falling over my shoulders. The event was the arrival of Betsy Wetsy and my Grandma who geve her to me is sitting behind me with a big smile. I still have Betsy Wetsy, she looks a bit different now, she was well loved for years.
My favorite photo is of all my grandkids together in one picture!
Pictures of family are my favorites. Perhaps the most special is one of our two daughters when they were very young. They are still very close, and it ten shows in the photo of them at ages four and nine months.
My favorite photo is of my Paternal Grandmother. She died when I was three. My only memories of her center around her illness. I have a photo of her around the age of 19. One of my cousins thought it was a photo of me taken in one of those old time settings. This made me feel a special connection to a woman I barely knew, but influenced how I look today. The photo has a special place by my bed, it reminds me of my roots.
The famous squirrel who jumped in front the lens of the vacationing couple…too funny!
My favorite photograph of all time is a picture of my baby brother when he was about 3 years old. He was seriously the cutest toddler – ever!! I love that picture of him because it captured everything that a toddler is, happy, innocent, and beautiful.
Well to be honest I do not have a favorite photo I have many favorite photos! We just got back from a road trip to visit family and we stopped at the Four Corners and took a family snapshot so for today that will be my favorite:)
One of my favorite photos is close-up of my sister, my Dad and me at Christmas. Because my dad does not like having his picture taken this is the only one we have of the three of us and it’s beautiful.
I’ve come to especially love this one photo of myself at 3 months old that I recently found – anytime anyone sees it, they think it’s of either my 3-month-old or 3-year-old daughter! (Even my husband – their father – thought it was them!)
Can’t pick a specific photo but my favorite is any picture of any grandchild at any age. They help me remember all the cute stages and happy occasions.
I have a picture of my husband kissing the top of our newly born daughter’s head. It was taken at the hospital right after she was born. It’s so sweet!
Favorite photograph of all time…wow- that’s a tough one. The one that keeps coming to my mind is a picture of our three kids (all teenagers), sitting on a stone wall in our yard, holding our 9 cats (three each). The first picture I took of them, they were all posed really nice, but the second is my favorite. A couple of the cats started squirming and all heck broke loose. All three kids were laughing like crazy and cats were all over the place – it was hilarious, and it makes me laugh every time I remember it.
My favorite photo happened on a random day. The boys and I were on the back porch and they were in our blow up pool and we stopped for a snack. They didn’t have shirts on and my oldest has just lost his two front teeth. I had my camera just inside the door so I grabbed it and they were hugging each other and laughing and smiling. I said to Owen, my oldest, say something funny and he said (to our youngest, Henry) “come on henry, mom wants us to smile so pretend I just gave you all my legos”. Well, we just lost it and laughed so hard and I snapped around 20 photos of them just hugging and laughing.
My favorite photograph is one of my Dad as a little boy holding a cat. I love my Dad’s smile at that moment.
My favorite photograph is the day I had my twins. They were premature, only 4 lbs each and I am holding one in arm. I felt so much love and happiness and my girls are my life, I can’t imagine what things would be like without either of them.
There is a photograph of my Grandpa holding me when I was five or six years old. This picture means a lot to me because my Grandpa was a Bible mentor to me. He loved the Lord and I look forward to seeing him again when I get to heaven. 🙂
I love my mom & dad’s wedding photograph. I actually used it on the cake table at my wedding. My mom passed away 12 yrs ago, today actually would have been my parent’s 45th anniversary. It really means a lot to me!
It was at my daughter’s high school graduation. She was graduating with honors and had the sash around her neck and was leaning over chatting and smiling with her friends she was seated with. I was a distance away and zoomed in and snapped the best picture of her ever, she looked so proud and happy.
How to pick just one! My all time favourite photo…maybe the one of my sister and I as little tots, holding bouquets of wildflowers. I actually painted it a few years ago.
It is a photo taken at my sons 8th birthday. In the picture is myself, my husband, my son and daughter and our dog Roxie. At the time I was pregnant with our 3rd child whom we lost 6 months later. It is the only photot we have that we are in a way all together including our angel Emma. It means everything to me.
My favorite photo has to be the one with my husband and I at a luau in Hawaii to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary back in 2001. I was so excited to be there…I had never flown before. We had arrived back home on September 8th and 3 days later 9/11 happened…something I will never forget.
My favourite photo is of my father which I took in a little place called Wellington Dam in Western Australia. It is special to me because I was 9 years old when I took it and he died shortly after. We spent the day together, just him and me and this photo is the best one we have of him before we knew he was sick. He died very quickly of pancreatic cancer. This photo helps me remember this day.
My all time favorite photo is one of my wedding photos. Our photographer grabbed my long veil and flung it in the air while the second photographer snapped a shot of my arms around my new hubby. The veil is floating in the air and it is absolutely gorgeous! I look at it every day and think of how blessed I am! 🙂
Every year on my birthday the only thing I ask for is for my husband to take the day off of work and that the two of us do something special with our grandson. Typically we head to a pumpkin patch or apple orchard of some sort. Actually, it’s like I’m not even there, because the two of them have this incredible connection, and my job is probably just to photograph them together. 🙂 I have an AMAZING photo of the two of them, my husband pulling the little guy in a wagon. I captured the image from behind, but it just looks like they’re the only two people in the whole world. It’s my absolutely favorite, ever!
I see more parent smiles above as favorite photo’s. Mine is one of my mum as well. She was sitting on the beach. One hand supports her cheek. Eyes closed and turned toward the sun, she has a beautiful and content smile upon her face.
It a picture of me and my dad when I was a baby. It’s aged to shades of pink and makes me smile every time I see it.
My favorite photo is one of my sister and I at Easter too many years ago to say the date. It is one of my favorite because we are both standing there in our Mom handmade matching dresses with our Grandmother hand knitted hats and scarfs. You can tell by our expressions and attitudes in the pic that we thought we were the most chic girls on the block.
My nephew is now 16 years old and despite being a teenager is still a sweet kid. When he was 3 years old he came to visit just before the Holidays and I had all my decorations out including a dancing Santa. I hadn’t turned Santa on or even mentioned anything about the special time of year to him. He was kind of waddling around and staring at the decorations as I went about my business around the house. I noticed him paying particular attention to the dancing Santa which stood on top of a wrapped package next to the tree at about the same height as he was at the time. I thought of just snapping a picture of the scene and wouldn’t you know it, he gave Santa a kiss just as I snapped the picture! He did it on his own I didn’t even let him know I was taking a picture, I was looking for a candid photo. I was amazed and it is still a photo I treasure to this day. It is all about the love and innocence of a child, the fundamental meaning of the Holiday to me.
Well, it’s hard to get down to one…but I can. Recently I got to see my father who I don’t get to see often enough. He hugged me and put his fingers into a “peace” sign. I did the same and at that very moment, my husband was able to snap a photo. When I saw it , I cried…it’s just me and my dad who I miss very much
I have a picture of my sister when she was a baby. She is about 5 and I was 15. in the picture there was a charlie brown piano painted on a wall. My sister is
posing as if she was leaning on the piano. So super cute!
As a First Time Mom, my favorite photo is our First Family Picture with our Daughter. It’s the Pride and Joy of a Photo Wall. We’ll have to take another soon.
This beautiful candid photo from our wedding day, captures us looking at each other. You can see just how much we <3 the other!
My favourite photo is a picture of my grandmother…she was battling cancer at the time. She went and had her hair done and a professional photo made. She looks so beautiful and you can courage in her eyes as she faced her battle. Sadly, it is the last photo of her that I have…but a beautiful tribute to the strong and courageous woman that she was. I miss her.
Our wedding photo is the most special of all for obvious reasons! It was beautiful and we were so happy!
My dad was stationed in Augsburg, Germany and there’s a roadside travel photo of tiny me, with Cindy Brady pigtails, perched on the shoulders of my 6’7″ Dad. It looks just like the Sound of Music. I love this photo
My most favorite photo is of the first time I held my daughter!
Wow, this is a hard question because I have many photos that I love. There is one when my kids were young & we are at Yosemite & all of us are on horseback – it brings back memories of a fun time in a beautiful location.
My son when he was about 18 months old. There is just something about that photo. Every time I see it, I find myself smiling and have such an overwhelming feeling of love.
My favorite photograph is one I took many years ago while visiting dear friends. I’d just bought my first 35mm camera, and a beautiful butterfly landed right on their young son’s head! I was in the right place at the right time with my camera, and captured a rare moment on film that we’ve all treasured through the years.
There is one photo from my wedding that I just love. It’s not one of our professional photos, but it’s my favorite. Just the look on my new husband’s face makes me feel so loved! Here’s the pic:)

I have a photo of my family, with grandparents and cousins taken just before my grandfather died. It’s the last time that all of us were together in one photograph.
Too many to choose from, but I suppose my fav is my 4-year old g’dtr standing in her Halloween outfit last fall. She was dressed in a blue princess outfit, with a crown,& barefoot. I had brought her an inexpensive pink magic wand. When I was taking the picture, I recall her looking up, saying “where’s my pond?”. It took us a while to realize she was asking for the wand!
My favorite photo of all times is… a picture of my sister and niece. It was her 2nd birthday party and I snapped the picture of my sister holding her with her eyes closed. (as if to say, this is the best feeling in the world…MOTHERHOOD)The reason it’s my favorite picture is because my sister is no longer with us. Thanks for letting me share my story.
A photo of my dad fishing in Alaska . . . he passed away right after Thanksgiving after 2 years of terribly failing health and I love looking at this picture of him when he was young and strong. It makes me smile. That’s the way I want to remember my Dad.
My favorite photo is one of my grandson when he was about 8 months old. He is clapping his hands and has so much joy in his face. It was on Mother’s Day and makes me so proud!
I would say the pictures I snapped of my ragdoll cat when I picked him out of the litter- he was the one for me. He has helped me out more than he knows. 🙂 A very special kitty. <3 Thank you for the chance to win.
My favorite photos are probably the naked bottom pictures of my kids when they were babies. I have them framed and hanging in my master bath!:)
This is hard because there are so many…. one of my favorites is a picture of me and my Mom when I was in college. She is curled up in the corner of the couch reading her Bible and I’m next to her. The photo captured an everyday moment and that’s how I remember her.
My parents on the dance floor at my wedding, 40 years after their own wedding.
I love your website! My favorite photo is one of my mother. She was usually rather serious but we surprised her one time by flying my sister in from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest. We “pretended” to talk to my sis by phone at her house in Arkansas when she was actually two houses away. When we said goodbye, my sis walked to my mom’s house and I caught her picture as my sis walked in the door. Absolute, sheer delight!! I had NEVER seen my mom react in such a truly ecstatic way. I still feel so happy for her for having that moment even though she is no longer with us. Thanks for the opportunity for me to remember that photo. I am going to go find it and scrapbook it. THANK YOU!!
I have a very old photo of my son when he was about 3 years old. He is sitting in the grass holding a Monarch butterfly. His face is just precious, as he is studying the butterfly so intently!
That’s easy. My favorite photo shows my mom as a baby sitting on her mother’s lap with her grandmother and great-grandmother standing behind them. Four generations of proud, strong women in one shot. Priceless.
My favorite photo is of my kids when they were toddlers at Easter. They had the cutest smiles on their faces and I always had special outfits that coordinated. They are now 25 and 28 years old and I still have those photos out!
My all time favorite picture hangs on my refrigerator. It was taken in the 60’s of my dad, my three sisters and myself on the front steps. We are all dressed in our Sunday best, my dad is wearing a bow tie. Not certain what the occasion was, but everyone is smiling. Oh, and the best part, it’s black & white.
My favorite photo is one I came across again recently. My daughter is sitting in her high chair eating cake at her first birthday celebration. She has cake all over her face and is grinning from ear to ear. It is a great memory!
My favourite photo is the annual Christmas shot of our four grandsons seated on the sofa together. Side by side, never posed, holding hands or poking at each other, one crying, one laughing, whatever. Just a moment in time captured.
I’d have to say that I happen to have two favorite photographs: the more recent one is my Nursing School Graduation Portrait; I don’t take a lot of photos of myself, so not only am I so very proud of the accomplishment the portrait describes, but how well I look in it, haha! =)
My second favorite photo is one where I am included with all of my fiance’s family at Christmas. We also had four generations of family there with us. It’s wonderful to feel so loved by his family and feel included. =)
One of my current fav photo is a school picture of my twins captured perfectly with both of them smiling and looking right at the camera. That never happens when I take a photo of them.
This is really tough! I have so many photos that I just love. I lost my dad several years ago and still miss him. I have a photo of him when he was working at Northrop where he was sitting at his next drawing up designs for planes. Such a memory and I can even picture it withoug seeing it.
About twelve years ago, we had scheduled a family reunion to celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday. Sadly, he passed away about a month and a half before the reunion, and so it became a memorial reunion instead of a birthday reunion. My aunt scheduled a photographer to come and take photos of the whole clan, both as individual families and as group shots with each other and my grandmother. Those photos hang in my bedroom, and I see them every night. My grandmother went to heaven last year, and I love looking at her legacy of family and love.
My favourite photo is of my sister and I at the Winter Olympics in Torino in 2006 with the Olympic mascots. It captures how much fun we had at the event and what a fantastic and special trip it was.
Our wedding photo is my favorite photo! We got married in Hawaii (we live in CA) and our immediate families flew in to celebrate with us! A day to remember forever!
My husband and I had a formal photo taken of us when we went on a cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary. It is my favorite photo of all time because it truly reflected the love we have for each other, especially since we just celebrated our 45th anniversary!!
I have a photo of my dog taking a nap in the afternoon and the sun shining through the window behind him. He looks so peaceful. He has now passed away, but that picture reminds me of how my heart still melts for him.
My favourite photo is one of my grandmother and my newborn son. It was taken just before my grandmother’s Alzheimers took it’s hold of her fully. It’s makes me smile to see her looking so lovingly at him and also makes me sad as she doesn’t remember any of us now.
