Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Hello You Card
For my first project today I decided to focus on the Trendy Tree Tops dies.  I love all the detailed cut-outs that Maile incorporated into their design.  It really adds a nice touch to a project.

Background
I started by stamping a background.  I stamped the large & small solid flowers from Flower Fusion #7.  I added leaves from Turning a New Leaf in Fine Linen ink followed by a small flower from Strawberry Patch.  There is also a small dot cluster from Strawberry Patch that I used on the centers of the flowers in Hawaiian Shores & Classic Kraft inks.  After I was done stamping the pattern, I impressed it with the Woodgrain Impression Plate and swiped a bit of the Tea Dye Duo around the edges.

Focal
I die-cut the tree trunks from Fine Linen cardstock and the tree tops from Melon Berry & Summer Sunrise.  The sentiment banner strip is cut from Aqua Mist cardstock and stamped with a sentiment from Trendy Tree Tops in Charcoal Palette ink.  A small Classic Kraft button is tied with cream twine to finish the strip off.

Down
I love these colors again along with the overall softness of the card.

Just Smile Card
Now for something a bit more bold & bright!  I wanted to showcase how Trendy Tree Tops can be used for things other than trees.

Focal
I stamped four tree top images on a square of white cardstock using Hibiscus Burst, Hawaiian Shores, Summer Sunrise & Simply Chartreuse inks.

Frame
I then die-cut the Framed Out #3 die from white cardstock and stamped the frame with the coordinating image in Orange Zest ink.  I backed the frame opening with vellum and added the sentiment, also from Framed Out #3.  I love how the little corners of the circles show through the vellum.

Down
A block of Simply Chartreuse cardstock mats the focal point.  I stamped it with Journaling Lines using Simply Chartreuse ink.  Everything was adhered to a vellum card base for a bit more translucency.

You are My Sunshine card
My next project is all about purple, pairing together Lavender Moon, Plum Pudding & Autumn Rose.

Focal
I created a focal point with several different elements.

Tree
I started with the tree.  I die cut the trunk from Classic Kraft and the tree top from Vintage Cream.  I stamped the coordinating image on the tree top using Autumn Rose ink.  I die-cut the small heart from Lavender Moon cardstock and glittered it before adhering it in place.

Flowers
The flowers & leaves are from Blooming Button Bits.  I stamped the flowers in Lavender Moon ink onto Vintage Cream cardstock, carefully cutting them out with scissors.  I stamped the leaves with Ripe Avocado ink onto Spring Moss cardstock, cutting them out as well.  For the centers, I used 1/2" & 5/8" circle punches with Autumn Rose carstock.  I then stamped them with the polka dot pattern from Bitty Background Blocks onto both of them using Autumn Rose ink.

Sentiment
For the sentiment, I stamped the interior frame from Framed Out, followed by another sentiment from the set in Elegant Eggplant (SU!).  I then stamped a bit of Faux Ribbon on either side of the frame.

Down
Everything was adhered to a Lavender Moon card base.

Sending You Smiles Card
For my last project, I thought I would pair up the previously released Simple Sunflower with the new Framed Out #3 set.

Background
For the background, I stamped Simple Sunflower is Summer Sunrise with canyon Clay centers.  The leaves (from Strawberry Patch) were added with Ripe Avocado, along with a few dots of Pure Poppy.  I then impressed the piece with the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate.  I trimmed the edges of the block with pinking shears and swiped them a bit of Tea Dye Duo.

Frame
I die-cut the frame from Rustic Cream cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating frame image in Pure Poppy.  I backed the frame with Classiv Kraft cardstock and added the interior frame as well as a sentiment from Simple Sunflower, both in Dark Chocolate.  Everything was adhered to a Dark Chocolate card base.
