The set includes two mini blocks, as well – they're perfect for adding patterns to smaller areas or die cuts. The pattern on the blocks is a scaled-down version of what is on the strips.

  • It contains 4 images.
  • This set comes on a single 4"x8" acetate sheet (all-new size). The large background strips measure 5-3/4" x 1-1/8". The smaller blocks measure 1-3/8" x 7/8".

The final introduction for today is the newest felt color to our fantastic 100% wool felt collection. This month's addition is Spring Moss. Spring Moss holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first color introductions we made during our first anniversary celebration. I think you'll agree that it is a great addition to the collection!

Now that all the introductions have been made for today, let's get right to the projects!

  Happy Birthday card

For my first project today I paired up several of the new additions we are introducing today.

Background
The beautiful background was created with the new Background Basics: Medallions set.  I am just totally smitten with the results you can get with this two-step process.  I stamped the larger circle strips with Simply Chartreuse ink, followed by the smaller circle strips in Ocean Tides.  Doesn't it look just like a beautiful paper you would by at a boutique?

Flower
For the flower, I die-cut a few blooms from Ocean Tides cardstock and stamped them with their coordinating images in VersaMark ink.  I finished it off with an Ocean Tides button and twine.

Sentiment
I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment from Think Big Favorites #13 onto a strip of Ripe Avocado cardstock using Ripe Avocado ink.  I then added a little sentiment from Simply You (more about that later on in the week) underneath in True Black.  The "You" circle was stamped with VersaMark ink onto Ocean Tides cardstock and punched out with a 1/2" circle punch.

Down
All of this was adhered to a Classic Kraft card base.

Make a Wish card
My next project is bold and bright and sure to bring sunshine to someone's day.  I started with white cardstock die-cut with the Mega Mat Stack 3 die and stamped several different elements from Frilly Flowers to cover it.  I used Berry Sorbet, Orange Zest, Simply Chartreuse & Summer Sunrise.

Sentiment
I stamped the sentiment from Think Big Favorites #13 with Simply Chartreuse ink onto Simply Chartreuse cardstock.  I die-cut two strips of Berry Sorbet cardstock with the small scalloped border die and trimmed them with a kraft knife and ruler.  After adhering everything into place, I pierced holes along the scallops.

Button closeup
I adhered a large button to the center of this Berry Sorbet flower and tied it with a thin strip of Orange Zest cardstock.

Down
All of this was adhered to a Summer Sunrise card base with rounded corners and a bit of Fresh Snow ink swiped around the edges.

Feliz Cumpleanos
This card uses one of the sentiments from Global Greetings: Spanish.  I started with a block of white cardstock and stamped several of the Frilly Flowers along the bottom edge of the block using Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet and Plum Pudding.

Sentiment
The sentiment was added in the upper portion using the birthday greeting from Global Greetings: Spanish using Smokey Shadow ink.  I pierced a line of holes above and below the sentiment.

Knots
I tied pieces of embroidery floss around the card, finishing them with knots along the edge of my project.

Down
A Smokey Shadow card base finishes it all off.

Celebrating Your Birthday card
This project focuses more on an earth-tone scheme.  I trimmed some Dearest Jane script paper into a block and stamped it with these Frilly Flowers using Canyon Clay ink.  I then added a few other scattered flowers from Beautiful Blooms II with Dark Chocolate ink.  I trimmed around the outside edge with Tea Dye Duo.

Button
The sentiment was stamped on strip of Kraft cardstock with Dark Chocolate ink.  It also was edged with the Tea Dye Duo.

Flower
I added small rhinestones to the centers of each flower for more texture and visual interest.  I love how these flowers layered over the script paper!

Down
Thank you for joining us today.  I hope that you have enjoyed the projects I created using these new and amazing products.  We would like to offer you the opportunity to win all of this and more!  Here's how!

I’m 2000km from home right now and it’s torturing me that I can’t “play along” with all the festivities. I love everything you’ve come up with this month and can’t wait for the shopping to begin! (It’s also my birthday this month, so I’ll have an excuse to get whatever I want! lol).
Wondering if you might field a few “Anniversary” questions though – just for those of us curious…
    1. What is the all-time best-selling PTI stamp set?
    2. What was last year’s biggest seller?
    3. What is the best selling PTI die?
    4. What is the most popular PTI colour (sales wise)?
    5. When can I buy my Stamp-a-Faire tickets? (since shipping to Canada takes a month to arrive)

Love you Nichole, and love EVERYONE that has made PTI a “necessity” in my life.

    Giant hugs,
    Shelly

I truly love everything that PaperTrey comes out with. The versatility, the style and the incredible amount of inspriation I get from the PT team is overwhelming at times. I wish I had unlimited time and resources so I could create something half as good. Congratulations on your 5th year! Here’s to many, many more. 🙂

I am so excited about the Global Greetings set! I have friends in Germany and it will be great to be able to send them a card with German greetings! I’m also pretty excited about the floral collections. I must credit PTI for giving me a paper crafting love of flowers. I’m not generally big a floral person but several of the PTI sets bring a modern and/or whimsical flair to flowers and I find those sets very easy to create with! Thanks!

My favorite card today was the frilly flowers stamped over the Simply Jane text paper in Canyon Clay ink. The was one of the most strikingly beautiful cards…ever. I loved it. Those flowers will make the most beautiful patterned paper, so many possibilities. Also loved Melissa’s to-go cups! Those are adorable and perfect for my Starbucks-loving daughter.

Another amazing release and some beautiful projects. I love Tiffany’s new flower set and matching dies but am also looking forward to that spring moss felt 🙂

Oh, I can’t wait to get the new background set. As a scrapbooker I can never have enough background sets to choose from! Love how you can combine colours with it.
