Today I have a lot of new introductions for, beautiful autumn inspiration and amazing new products that will surely knock your socks off.

I've always loved ginkgo leaves.  They have a gracefulness, a simple elegance that just speaks to me.

Harvest-berries-dies
The new Harvest Berries stamp set that I designed for this months release captures all of this and more.  Ginkgo leaves have such a beautiful shape which lends themselves beautifully to so many design applications. This set embraces the beauty that they hold and pairs them up with berry design elements just for a fun twist.  With various sizes and layouts, this set will be a close favorite to Turning a New Leaf! And the coordinating dies provide even more design options!

The details.

  • Harvest Berries will be available for sale on August 15th.
  • It will retail for $15.
  • Harvest Berries includes a total of 10 stamps (1 large outlined leaf sprig, 1 small outlined leaf sprig, 1 large solid leaf sprig, 1 small solid leaf sprig, 1 large single berry, 1 large berry trio, 1 small single berry, 1 small berry trio, 1 sentiment and 1 handmade for you image).
  • The large lined leaf image measures 3-1/2" x 2-1/2".  The small lined leaf image measures 1-1/4" x 1-3/8".  The large solid leaf image measures 2-1/8" x 1-3/8".  The small solid leaf image measures 3/4" x 1-1/8".  The sentiment measures 2-3/4" x 1".
  • A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately for $12.  The die collection includes three dies that will cut out shapes to coordinate with all four leaf images as well one to cut out multiple berries at once.  (Think felt berries!)  Their measurements are as follows: 3-1/2" x 3-3/4" (A), 2" x 2-1/2" (B), 3/4" x 1/2" (C).

Bloom-builder-die
As a complement to the new Harvest Berries set and in celebration of autumn in general, I designed a new Bloom Builders die that will give you all the amazing detail of realistic mums.  The layering thickness is kept to a minimum with the openings in the in between layers.  The "hole" that ends up forming in the center as you stack also helps to create volume with the petals.  You also have the option to use different numbers of layers for different diameters of blooms.  So pretty and so fun to work with.

The details.

  • The Bloom Builders #3 die will be available for sale on August 15th.
  • It will retail for $10.
  • The overall Bloom Builders #3 die measures 3-1/2" x 4-3/4".  The largest layer measures 1-7/8" in diameter and the smallest layer measures 1" in diameter.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This particular die IS NOT compatible with our felt.

Now that I have given you all the details and shared my inspiration, let's get onto some projects!

First up is a little video tutorial offering tips & tricks for using the new Bloom Builders #3 dies.

Remember Card
Here are a few still shots of the card from the video.

Sentiment
I love this sentiment from Harvest Berries. Not only is it beautiful, but it's just such a nice thing to say.

Flower closeup
And that flower, I will be hard-pressed to not be putting it on everything for the next few weeks.

Down
And I love the graceful elegance of the leaf dies + images together.  I'll definitely be using these a lot.

Brighter World Card
The project pairs Bloom Builders #3 as well as the new Harvest Berries stamp set again, only this time in a bright and bold color scheme.

Sentiment closeup
For the sentiment, I stamped the Label Basics frame onto a Angled Labels die-cut using Aqua Mist ink.  The sentiment (from Modern Wood Mats) was added with New Leaf ink.

Flowers closeup
These are "one-layer" Bloom Builders #3 creations, meaning there is only 1 of each layer rather than the 2 I showcased in today's video.  It really gives you another option & look when using them.

Leaves closeup
The leaves were embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder onto New Leaf cardstock.  I then used Handsome Hunter ink to sponge on some resist definition.

Down
The background is stamped with Polka Dot Basics and VersaMark ink.  I just love all these fun layers, don't you?

Rainbow Acorns card
Did you notice the bowl of acorns in a rainbow of colors above int the inspiration section?  That photo served as the jumping point for this colorful card.

Sentiment
I die-cut and stamped various acorns to line-up as my focal point.  Strips of Black & White Basics striped paper were used above and below the images.  The darling sentiment is also from Autumn Acorns.

Down
All of the colors lined up just make you want to smile!  :)

Thinking of You Card
And now for another take on Harvest Berries.

Focal closeup
I die-cut the largest leaves die from Orange Zest cardstrock and used the leftover negative and adhered it to my Summer Sunrise card base.  I stamped the coordinating leave images through the openings with Orange Zest ink.

Berries die
I cut out multiple felt berries at a time using Terracotta Tile felt.  I adhered the little felt berries with a 2-way glue pen.  Don't you just love the texture this creates?

Down
The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #7.  It is stamped with True Black ink onto Terracotta Tile cardstock that has been stamped with the new houndstooth background using VersaMark ink.

Thanksgiving Card
I have one last project for you today this time pairing the new Autumn Acorns and Modern Wood Mats, a perfect pair.

Focal closeup
The circle from Modern Wood Mats was stamped onto the Vintage Cream card base using Summer Sunrise ink.  The sentiment (from Autumn Acorns)  was added with Dark Chocolate ink.  A bit of Dark Chocolate Baker'sTwine is tied around the stem of the leaf.

Trim closeup
I added strips of houndstooth & vintage book print to the bottom edge of the card;

Down

Those acorns just make me want to experiment with houndstooth on them…as well as the woodgrain embossing plate…so many possibilities dancing in my head….no sugar plums for me…just stamps swirling around creating new ideas to try! The ginko leaves practically make me swoon! Gorgeous!!!! X1000 🙂

The Ginko leaves are so full of grace, they remind me of the flowers in Fantasia. I am sure they have endless uses. The berries will make beautiful winterberries when cut with mirror paper to make them look frozen. My dad’s favorite flower was Mums. Because of their fabulous dimension they can be used to decorate boxes. Thank you seems so insignifficant to express what I really feel for what you do. TFS.

This is a big, big day in the release–so many different things introduced today. I love them, with particular fondness for the modern wood mats. That little spot of wood grain is so cool and stands out much more that if the whole background were wood grain. I just seems to give you permission to use unusual colors as well. Hmm … maybe even my favorite color, black? Can’t wait to try it!!

This is an incredible collection of dies and stamps! I am in LOVE with the ginko and berries (*virtually* in my cart already), the beautiful blooms builder set, and the rest! I am just astounded by the sheer volume PTI puts out every month and then the incredible creativity of each stamp set, die, and accompanying materials. I have really enjoyed the samples here and those posted on the DT’s blogs. This is one release I would not miss for the world!

are absolutely wonderful! This is the epitomy of what Fall is, I love everything. I have a habit of collecting acorns whenever I see them on the ground. They just fascinate me, and just think – I can now produce my own. The ginko leaves always remind me of little stamps, so pretty. Wonderful products that make me smile!

Fall is my most favorite season. When I was a little girl my mom and I would pick up acorns and keep them for our fall crafts. My mother to this day loves acorns and they remind me of her. Not sure what project I am going to make yet but the first thing I make will be for her.

It is a wonderful fall inspiration, everything work so well together, the gingko leaves, houndstooth, acorns and the bloom builders. Autumn is my favorite time of season too…when the leaves starts to change color, when leaves starts to fall. A very refreshing feeling and we know Winter is just around the corner.
