Hello, everyone! I just returned home late last night to find that for some reason, the Challenge #10 that I prepared for Saturday and that was pre-scheduled, did not go live! My apologies! I have edited the end time & date for you so you can still play along with this last challenge. AND…I've sweetened the pot just a bit more with a larger prize package!
Just as a quick note, for those of you that asked, I have already been categorizing all of the posts related to Stamp-a-faire and they are accessible on the right side bar under "Categories" and Stamp-a-faire, HERE.
The last make-n-take our Stamp-a-faire attendees got the opportunity to make was this little gem using the mini $5 set that was up for grabs for free with a $100 purchase at the show. (Don't forget, it will be available for sale to ALL of you during our August release coming up shortly!)
Sometimes I forget that layering patterns under focal points, all on one-layer, can provide amazing results with a lot of depth! Here, I layered Polka Dot Basics under the sunflowers and leaves. The most important thing to keep in mind is to stamp the background in a lighter color than your focal point! And, just as a final note about this card, the sentiment is from the Half & Half set that we released last month!
So, your last challenge is to add a stamped focal point over a stamped background, all in the same layer! There is really a lot of opportunity here for some fun mixing and matching!
You have until 11:59pm EST, Tuesday, July 26th, to add your link to the list below. Only one link per person please. One randomly selected winner will be announced no later than 7am EST, Wednesday, July 27th and announced here on the blog. The winner will receive a FREE copy of the new Iconic Images stamp set along with a FREE tote bag, just like the ones we handed out as goodie bags at the show!
I have one more little tidbit for you before I wrap up this post…
I wanted to thank all of the amazing customers who came out to join us at our Stamp-a-faire event! You have made this experience unforgettable and all of us here at Papertrey Ink were so happy to have the opportunity to meet you and put on this shindig for you!
I will be preparing a blog post about this event over the course of the next few days and would LOVE to see any photos you have from the event! Especially shots of you & your friends together and photos that showcase all the fun you had, your goodie bag load, Dessert Reception moments and more. If you would like to possibly see your photos added to the post I am preparing, please feel free to link to them here in the comments section and I will add as many as I can!

Nicole, you are the Energizer Bunny in human form! I cannot begin to thank YOU, Jane, Julie, the Design Team and everyone else (those folks worked so hard!) to make our Stamp-A-Faire experience so FANTASTIC! You and your team treated us like royalty. How you ALL were still smiling from ear to ear at nearly midnight as we were reluctantly leaving the ballroom is still a mystery to me. It is an understatement to say that I will never forget it. THANK YOU!

No, Alison, you do not have to use PTI products on the Stamp-a-faire Challenges! Hopefully you’ll play along. 🙂

How come I get the little blue head instead of a thumbnail pic of my card?

Loved the pictures of the event! So many ideas even if I couldn’t squeeze in the time to do all the challenges! This one really got me out of my box and away from just grabbing a pattern paper! My old retired stamps are out of the drawer once again! I think I need to win some new ones, though! LOL! Love Papertrey, and the little sentiment I used gets it’s share of inkage! Thanks for the inspiration!

I had so much fun at the Stamp-A-Faire, it was everything I though it would be and more. I blogged about it here and there are a ton of pictures. http://danasdabblingstudio.blogspot.com/2011/07/papertrey-ink-stamp-faire.html
Thanks for an amazing experience, I will definitely come back if you decide to do it again.

I have just one picture but it’s my favorite for sure. Michelle has to be one of the most genuine people I have ever met. And really I just met her I really don’t know her. So I can only imagine what a wonder friend she must be. Everyone was just wonderful at SAF. So gracious and giving of their time and talent. What a beautiful group of people. I feel so honored to of been a part of this wonderful event. Thank you so much for all you do Nichole. Cynthia
