Introducing Congrats All Ways, Tag-its, Think Big & Flower Fusion #6

July 10, 2011      Nichole Heady      736 Comments

I am so pleased to hear all of your enthusiasm for everything we introduced yesterday!  I have even more to show you today, so let's get started!

  Melissa's headshot

Melissa Bickford continues her Flower Fusion collection this month…

Flower-Fusion-6-die
…and Flower Fusion #6 could possibly one of my all-time favorites.  The plaid leaves and layered flower are quickly going to become images that I go back to again and again.  They mix and match so well with other images from the collection as well as other things from previously released sets.  It's so fun to sit down and play with all the different possibilities!

The details.

  • Flower Fusion #6 will be available for purchase on July 15th.
  • It will retail for $5.
  • Flower Fusion #6 contains a total of 8 images (1 outlied flower, 1 solid flower, 1 flower center, 1 stem/leaves, 4 sentiments)
  • A coordinating die will be available for sale separately for $3.  It measures 1" in diameter.

Heather's headshot
Heather Nichols is continuing her series as well.  The Tag-its collection has a new addition that features a fun "school" theme.  With a text-styled frame, notebook paper center and fun little sentiments and icons for the interior, there are a lot of options for a little $5 set!

The details.

  • Tag-its #6 will be available for sale on July 15th.
  • It will retail for $5.
  • Tag-its #6 contains a total of 9 images (1 text frame, 1 lined notebook center, 1 smiley face, 1 apple, 1 star and 4 sentiments)
  • The text frame coordinates with our Limitless Layers 1.75" Circle die set.  The lined notebook center measures 1-1/4" in diameter.

Think-Big-comparison
Think Big Favorites, one of our most popular series ever, continues as well with the sixth edition.  This month we have super-sized sentiments from Autumn Abundance.  You will love the casual elegance the lend to all of your projects!

The details.

  • Think Big Favorites #6 will be available for sale on July 15th.
  • It will retail for $5.
  • Think Big Favorites #6 contains a total of 2 sentiments.
  • Both sentiments each measure 3-1/4" x 1".

I have one last set to introduce to you today.  It is something that has been requested on numerous occasions and will surely fill a void in many stamper's collections.  Congrats All Ways provides just what it's name alludes to… a variety of congrats to use in just about every possible way.  There are eight large-scaled version of the word "congrats", each in a different font and style, making the set applicable to ANY type of project.  There are also smaller companion sentiments to cover nearly all the possible reasons you would be wishing someone congratulations.  This set is versatile enough that it can be paired up with a large number of our previously released sets.

The details.

  • Congrats All Ways will be available on July 15th.
  • It will retail for $24.
  • Congrats All Ways contains a total of 31 images (8 large "congrats", 20 companion sentiments, 2 punctuation, 1 "s" suffix)
  • The largest "congrats" measures 3-1/8" x 1-1/2" .  The smallest "congrats" measures 2-3/8"x 1/2".

The following occasions are covered in this set:

CONGRATS…

  1. on your acceptance
  2. on your retirement
  3. on your promotion
  4. on your new job
  5. on your pregnancy
  6. on your new arrival (s)
  7. on your adoption
  8. on your achievement
  9. on your wedding day
  10. on your engagement
  11. on your new home
  12. so proud of you
  13. you did it
  14. to the new driver
  15. to the new parents
  16. to the new couple
  17. to the grad
  18. you passed the test

Now, let's get onto some fun projects using these two new sets!

Promotion Card
I loved the modern, clean style of this card created with the new Congrats All Ways stamp set.  Many people often ask about how I tackle masculine projects and I have always says that it's all about color and pattern.

Focal closeup
I stamped "congrats" three times, once each in Orange Zest, Terracotta Tile and Pure Poppy.  I added the companion "promotion" sentiment underneath all of them.  I drew a line in between the various "congrats" with a black pen and a ruler for more definition.  Notice the rhinestones in the centers of all the "o"s.  I already had some that coordinated with Pure Poppy, but I created my own custom colored rhinestones using Copic Markers.

Down
The background on the card was created with Smokey Shadow cardstock and Background Basics: Diamonds stamped with True Black ink.

Pickles & Ice Cream Card
I couldn't help but pair up these images for a project appropriate for celebrating a new pregnancy!

Focal closeup
The smaller scaled half-pint jar is from the new Friendship Jar Summer Fillers.  I added pickles and the pickle title from the original Friendship Jar Fillers stamp set.  The label frame is from the new Little Labels set and coordinating die.  The pickles were colored in with Ripe Avocado Copics.  The cone was stamped and colored in with Ocean Tides and Dark Chocolate Copic Markers.  I wen back in with a Colorless Blender to add the stripes and dots for added pattern.

Sentiment closeup
I layered stamped the sentiments with True Black ink towards the bottom of the card.

Down
tThe entire card cover was inked with Fresh Snow ink around the outer edge and adhered to a white card base.

New Home Card
This project embraces a new color scheme and a fun combination to use with Flower Fusion sets!

Flower closeup
I die-cut Mat stack 2 die from white cardstock and added the stem in Spring Moss and the flower in Raspberry Fizz.  I stamped the teacup (from Tea For Two Additions) on a separate sheet of cardstock and trimmed it out, adding it to the focal point to look as if the flower was "planted" in the cup!

Sentiment closeup
I stamped the "congrats" portion of the sentiment in Raspberry Fizz and added the companion sentiments in Smokey Shadow.  As a last step I added Polka Dot Basics in VersaMark.

Down
I love the idea of the flower in the teacup and look forward to mixing and matching the cup images with the various Flower Fusion sets!

Retirement Card
Here's another fairly clean & simple card, perfect for a retirement.

Sentiment closeup
I heat embossed the "retirement" companion sentiment with White Filigree Embossing Powder and then over-stamped the "congrats" with VersaMark.

Rhinestone closeup
I added small strips of cardstock underneath the sentiment, stitching in place with a sewing machine.  I left the threads loose at the end in an artistic sort of way, also adding tiny rhinestones.

Down
I chose the rocking chair from Chair-ished as my focal point, perfect for a retirement theme!

Great Job Card
Now for a little number that's perfect to congratulate a child on a job well done at school.

Focal closeup
For the focal point, I stamped the text frame with Pure Poppy ink and added the center notebook lined area with Spring Rain ink.  The sentiment was added with True Black and the apple with Simply Chartreuse.

Sentiment closeup
I created the Smokey Shadow background strip by stamping the lines from School Time and then writing my own custom letters with a white colored pencil.

Cover
I also added a sentiment collection for Congrats All Ways in True Black.

Take Car Card
One last project and it uses the beautiful Flower Fusion #6.

Flower closeup
I die-cut Vintage Cream cardstock and added the coordinating image using Spring Moss ink.  I adhered a few of the cut-apart leaves for good measure.

Border closeup
The border was created with the same floral images along with a bit of stitching on either side.

Down
One of the Think Big Favorites sentiments filled in the remainder of the space on the over nicely.

I hope you enjoyed all of the projects I shared with you today.  All of these sets offer such amazing creative opportunities, you will be thrilled with what you will be able to create with them!  What are your thoughts about everything shared today?  Do you have any project ideas in mind already?  We would love to hear what you think!  You could have a chance at winning this amazing prize package just for sharing your comments with us!

About the time I think I’m going to go easy this month you start letting us have sneek peeks and I’m a goner. The versitily of the Flower Fusion #6 is so cute. Also the up side down ice cream scoop being a tulip for the Flower Fusion stem is so cute. There is a lot more I could comment on but I have to go find a job to support my stamp habit! Thanks a lot for all of the good product.

My bank account is safe.” THEN you guys do your sample projects and suddenly I have to have everything you release. I think I’ve narrowed it down; if you could bottle and sell the talent that you and the other designers possess you’d be millionaires!

How appropriate the new Congrats set would be for me today–my daughter is 16 and is taking her road test today. How fun it would be to have used this set to make a card for her! My favorite PTI sets, however, are the Tag-It, Flower Fusion, and Think Big Favorites sets–best bang for your buck around!
