Today is one of my favorite days of the month! The day in which the Senior Design Team revisits a previously released set from our archives! This month we selected Wedding Day, a beautiful set by Alli Miles! With many spring & summer weddings on the horizon, the team will have you fully prepared for upcoming events! And they even have some year-round uses to showcase as well!
Wedding Day is full of all kinds of bits and pieces that you can use to create beautiful wedding masterpieces! Whether it be a card for your favorite couple, a mini book of your own wedding or custom wedding thank-yous, invitations or favors, this set has endless possibilities!
I thought I would share with you a project that I originally showcased during the countdown for Wedding Day in 2008. It is a really simple tag-shaped card base, featuring a single color (Sweet Blush) paired with white. But there is something about that simplicity that makes a statement of elegance. The card uses several of the design elements from Wedding Day to build a border and medallion style embellishment. I created a vellum envelope for the card to tuck into as a perfect finishing touch. It's still one of my favorite projects after all of these years.
Now how about a few projects from the amazingly talented Design Team?!?!?

Aren't all of these projects just absolutely amazing? I hope you enjoyed this little jaunt into Papertrey's past release and are left inspired to go do something crafty yourself! Thank you for stopping by today and have a fantastic rest of the week!
Gorgeous projects from the girls! As I have two sons getting married this year…yes, both of them…July and December, I was interested to see this set revisited, but disappointed not to see a Save the Date card or a wedding invite!
Pretty stamps and I had a lot of fun seeing what the ladies created! I definitely love this blog tradition as well!!!
Hugs, Wendy
Gorgeous projects from all…fun to see all the different creations…now I am wondering about this months release…how will you ever be able to “top” the fantastic one from Feb…can hardly wait for it to begin!!
I have this stamp set. Some friends of ours got married shortly after getting this set and I made a card like yours above. I love this set!
Such understated elegance with the elements of this set. Nichole, I adore your project with the vellum envelope. Soft and sweet. The Design Team always meets its challenge with such flair. I love the variety and the personality of each. Thanks for helping me continue to pull out the older sets and creating new items. PS: I played with some die cut buttons and put some of these images on them.
Hi, Nichole! I just wanted to say that I LOVE that you use the first of each month to revisit old sets. I really enjoy seeing how the design team combines them with new products and come up with such great projects. Also — I love that you’re going to be talking about your craft studio’s storage in the newsletter. Thanks so much for sharing your ribbon storage and making it easy for it to be duplicated. You’re the best!
I love this set!
I love that set too, Don’t have it but would love to get it.

At first glance I wasn’t sure about this set, but after seeing the beautiful card in the blush I have added it to my wish list.
I have this set and you all have wonderful ideas.
Hey, great idea. I never thought of using Kontera for older posts. I really dislike Kontera, but this is actually a pretty good compromise. I’ve never heard of anybody using it this way.
Thanks for making my morning a little bit better with this great article!!
It is interesting concept, i wonder if it will really increase sales tho, hopefully it does work.
So nice article! Thanks a lot.
