Inventory Updates…

I want to thank each and every one of you for the enthusiasm you have shown for this month's release.  We have been literally overwhelmed with orders from both existing customers & new customers alike.  We try our best to be prepared for these releases in regards to inventory and anticipate what might be the most popular items.  In fact, for this month's dies specifically, we ordered triple what we had last month.  

Your response has been SO huge, that we unfortunately sold out of several dies this morning.  We contacted our manufacturer and have them working double time to replenish our inventory with the sold out items.  We will be getting some stock (such as the new RickRack die) as soon as Friday.  The remainder should be arriving next week.

The Hawaiian Shores buttons will hopefully be restocked in approximately 2-weeks.  All of our reinkers and inks should be restocked by the end of this week/beginning of next week.

We will be sending an inventory newsletter out via email as items begin to arrive.

I know that the few extra days to wait for these products can be frustrating.  I know I would feel the same way myself if I were in your shoes!  But I promise that we are doing all we can behind the scenes to make sure that you are taken care of in the most expedited manner possible.

    Thank you for taking the time to speak to your customers directly. That is one thing I really love about PTI. I finally went ahead and bought the Big Shot because of your great dies. =) Can’t wait to try it. PTI keeps me challenged to try new things. I am one happy customer even if I have to wait for some things!! (incidentally I got the ric rac die, but I am waiting for the butterfly. =)

    I would love to have the Rick Rack die as it sold out before my order was complete even though it was in my cart… so will shipping be charged just to order the one die? Thanks.

    Well, congratulations on an apparently INCREDIBLE release! I know I’ll be patiently waiting for a few of the dies to come back in stock. Gotta have ’em, you know?

    This is kind of one of those “good news/bad news” occasions, isn’t it? The good news is that you’re doing so well and everybody wants PTI. The bad news is some folks can’t complete an order because items are sold out. I just wanted to say thanks for working so hard behind the scenes to manage your inventory. I can’t even begin to fathom what a big job that must be. I got everything I wanted in my order last night but I can imagine how frustrating it must be for those that didn’t. We appreciate you and know you’re doing your best.

    Thanks for the updates! I read on the forum that you sold 4 weeks worth of buttons in one night! Wow! I’ll wait for those and the rik-rak die to return before placing an order. Congratulations again! How excited you all must be! It’s the great quality and customer service that make you so successful! LOVE PTI!

    Thanks for the inventory update. I had the ric rac die in my cart and as some one else said it was sold out by the time I placed an order. 🙁 Oh well..Friday will be here soon.

    Patience is a virtue right?! Good quality is always worth waiting for even though we so NEED it right now LOL!
    Selling out is good news really though: means you’ll be staying in business to provide monthly inspiration forever ;D!

    Just placed my order (without the buttons, ricrac and bbdie 1) so will place another when you are replenished. Thanks for the update and congratulations on a huge release!

    You are so awesome! I don’t know any other place that I can “go to” where everyone works so hard to get things back in stock so quickly. It’s hard to be patient when your stuff is so amazing, but then again, that’s why it always sells out – it’s just so amazing!! Thanks for all you do for us :0)

    I placed my order last night at 12:05 EDT and the rickrack die was sold out. There are a lot of quick fingers out there. I am absolutely delighted that you did sell out. You do a great job of keeping us informed about what is going on and you deserve big YAYS for that. Look forward to receiving my order that I placed and I will watch for the dies to get back in stock. Thanks again.

    I was ready to place an order this morning (au time) but am so disappointed that i will have to wait for next week to get all that i want. Congrats on the release – it was fantastic! I wonder if i can wait!!

    Thanks for the update, I was able to get most everything I wanted last night. I’m curious about when you’ll have all the colors of your wool felt back in stock.

    Yes I admit I placed an order last night mainly because of that ric rac die rather than waiting till April to do a big order. So when I hit submit on the $130 order (you know us Cdn’s have to make any order worthwhile due to the shipping charges) I got the pop up that it was no longer available. That was within 20 mins of the release going live – very frustrating indeed. By the time I do get my hands on it I am sure the industry will be ric rac’d out.

    It is funny that the better job you do, the more popular your products are and the frequency of selling out quickly increases! That seems like a nice problem to have from my point of view!!

    I have been trying to get a hold of customer service to cancel a second order I made during the release. I panicked 10 minutes after I didn’t receive an order confirmation for my first order so I did a second one. I hope someone answers me soon.. help!

    Thank you for keeping your customers informed on the inventory status of your items. It’s so refreshing to know that I have purchased from a company that provides such wonderful customer service. Keeping us in the loop makes us feel like we are truly part of the PTI family…at least that’s how I feel!

    I just love this release. I ordered the ricrack die and by the time I finished the order, it was already sold out. That was within minutes after the release went live. I was not surprised. PTI is getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what comes next month. I look forward to any emails I get from PTI.

    Thanks for keeping us in the loop about the inventory. It makes me feel good that customer service keeps us posted as well when items are back in stock. I can’t wait to get my goodies.

    Nicole–It’s updates like this that make the difference. Thank you. I was SO disappointed that I couldn’t get the RicRac die and the Flower Die #1 yesterday with my order, so just hearing that you understand and have worked hard to adjust inventory numbers makes me feel better. It’s just SO hard to wait sometimes!!!!

    Thanks for the update. I love watching all the countdowns each month, but just can’t stay up late because of my work schedule. It’s slightly frustrating to login and find they are sold out immediately. I know this is a good problem for you – bad for me though! I haven’t ordered in a couple months because I keep waiting for the new dies. I hope they come soon! 🙂

    Nichole, thank you for the update. Sure, it is frustrating BUT … it just shows that you all are doing an awesome job and while you are expanding your stamp and dies and whatever palettes it shows that you are on the right way. I just hope that it will stay like this for decades so we all can enjoy the great product from PTI for a LOOOONG time, okay? 🙂 Hugs

    Congrats on another SUCCESSFUL release! Two things are obvious: 1) PTI’s reputation as a quality and customer-focused supplier is becoming better and better known and 2) it is obvious (at least to me, if not my sig other) that I need to purchase a die-cutting machine. MUST.HAVE.FLOWER.DIES. Hopefully by the time I have decided which one to purchase the dies will be back in stock and I can make my purchase….and through in a couple of the embossing plates at the same time! OH MY GOODNESSES!

    I understand your frustration and will wait patiently. However, will you be sending the items that are not backordered now, or do we need to wait until you have everything before you send our orders?

    I’m dying to order but I can’t! It’s killing me. lol. Hopefully everything will be in stock soon. Have you thought of letting us order and pay for it and then you just ship it out when it arrives? I don’t want to pay multiple shipping charges because different things aren’t in stock…

    Love visiting the Smoky’s Nicole. We go a few times a year and I love renting the adorable cabins!!! Especially the ones with big swings and relaxing mountain scenery! Did you go to the Scrapbook Superstore? Everytime we visit my Hubby says they’ve closed it, lol. He wishes!
