Hello everyone, and happy Saturday! I have been super busy getting caught up on my "before the 25th" duties. This includes getting all of the box bands ready for printing & prepping the index labels. Finishing up all of the stamp designs for the May release! Finalizing die designs for May too! I just put the finishing touches on everything, so I am finally ready to head out this morning…
on a little road trip. This week is spring break for my kids, so we are going up to the Smoky Mountains to stay in a little cabin that we've rented. We generally go over there every year during this school vacation week and it always proves to be tons of fun, not mention relaxing & rejuvenating. I will return on Wednesday and I am hoping to bring you a video or two since I have completed my regularly scheduled "work" for next week.
I hope you all are perhaps beginning to see some warm spring-like weather like we are here in Tennessee. Enjoy your weekend and I will plan on seeing you back here on Wednesday!
P.S. I've been seeing some beautiful work from our customers around the web. I thought I would give a quick shout out to some of my favorites! Hopefully one of these talented artists/bloggers inspire you to create something beautiful today!

I too live in Knoxville, and frequently hike in the mountains. Except for Sunday, you should have some great weather. But the mountains and the rain are so peaceful. I love the smell of the forest in the rain. Enjoy your time with your family. The mountains are the perfect place for rest and rejuvenation.

What a gorgeous picture of the Smoky Mountains. Much better then what I woke to this morning. How about 6° with at least a foot of snow on the ground. BUT the really reason I’m here is I am totally blown away by being featured on your blog!!! Thank you so much. It is your inspiration that gets the creative juices flowing to my fingers. You and all the wonderful designers you have. Thank you! At least I have warm fuzzies inside me now!

My goodness you have such a busy schedule. I sit here and enjoy all of your beautiful product and never give a thought as to what it takes to get them to us. You live two months ahead of us. Enjoy your well deserved vacation and don’t think about anything other than the beauty that God has surrounded you with.

Hmm – polka dot backgrounds also seem to the rage 😉 Enjoy your get-away! My parents have a cabin in the high desert north-east of L.A. We head up for weekends among the joshua trees and juniper bushes. But living on the coast, we go to enjoy ‘real’ weather, not escape it.

Oh, I’m so jealous…I’m from East TN, and miss those mountains so much! But it’s great to kmow you and your precious family are going to be there, enjoying the beauty of the region. What a wonderful place! I hiked Mt. LeConte decades ago, in record-setting rainfall. What a weekend that was!! One I’ll never forget, but will also cherish (even though I got blisters the 1st day!) Thanks for all you do…PTI is my favorite stamp company in the world!!! 😀

I can’t wait until May when I will be making an easy quick move to Tigard Oregon. beautiful country there. I was wondering have you ever tried fabric with any of your cards. I would think that for 3-d items that the glue would make them stiff enough
I have never done paper crafting but am excited to learn once I get moved.
I am always coloring with pencils, markers and crayons and I paint with Tri Chem Paints to.
My idea of fabric is to give the work a more wider range of design I guess you could say or something design wise you can’t find with the paper
But I would definately use the paper with it
