Well, is everyone having fun yet? What a way to kick off our third anniversary! It was so exciting to see all of the participation yesterday! I am so thrilled to see how many of you are stopping by to play along! Just wait until you see what else we have coming up during the course of the next few days!
Today, I am excited to introduce you to the 2010 Stamp Designer line-up! All of these ladies have worked so incredibly hard to bring you the most versatile, innovative stamps we will have introduced yet! It is going to be so hard to wait for each set to be unveiled over the coming year because there is just SO much goodness! First, let me introduce you to the two newcomers we have for this year!
I told you yesterday that Becky Oehlers was leaving behind her Design Team responsibilities to focus on working for us in a new capacity…and here it is! After realizing how passionate she was about stamp concepts, Becky decided to train herself as an illustrator. I am so proud of how far she has come and I know you will love her work! It's whimsical with just a touch of modern style, something fresh and fun to offer our customers. Her fist set will be coming in March!
Niki Estes has spent the better part of a year learning the illustrating programs we work with and her precision and dedication to perfection is certainly admirable. Her clean designs are immaculately executed and I know you will see the versatility in her stamps the moment you begin using them! Niki has begun her line with images that she herself as a stamper has been longing for in her collection and I think many others will agree that it's just what they were missing! Her first set is coming out during this exciting February release!
After a big move into a new home, Alli Miles has taken things up a notch and will be releasing several new sets this year, one of which is coming this very month! All of us love Alli's font combinations along with her modern style. Alli has integrated some fun innovations with many of her offerings this year, whether it be tool coordination or technique driven images. You are going to LOVE what Alli is bringing to the table in 2010!
Beth Silaika, a busy mom of six, is going to blow you away with all she has scheduled for this year! Her style is very whimsical, reminding me of playtime & doodles. It aways makes me feel like the artist within me comes out to play when I use her fun stamps. Not only does Beth produce fun stamp images, but she also has a FUN personality, taking life by the horns and enjoying every single moment! Beth's first set of 2010 is coming next month, in March, so be sure to keep your eye out!!!
I know many of you will be thrilled that Dawn McVey is joining us for another year of stamp designing! Not only can Dawn design amazing images that we turn to again and again, but she also invests a lot of time via her blog in SHOWING you what amazing things you can create with her images. Dawn has several sets in the schedule for this year and we can hardly wait for them to begin releasing! The first of which is coming this month!
Heather Nichols is joining us for another year, and boy, what a BIG year it is going to be! She has lots and lots up her sleeve which will slowly be announced over the coming weeks AND months! We have heard you loud and clear that you love her style as much as we do. Rustic whimsy is a term I use whenever I refer to Heather's signature look that has really made her recognizable throughout the industry. Look for one of Heather's many announcements later on this release!
Lisa Johnson released several sets last year, but will always be most well-known for On My Couch & Life. It was absolutely delightful to follow along with publications and bloggers as they fell in love with these two sets and consistently figured out new & fresh ways to use them! Lisa's mind works in a wonderful way, thinking about every angle of each image she includes in a set and how it can be used to it's best advantage. Lisa will have some "encores" this year along with some brand new concepts that you will be head over heels for!
Clean & simple is the perfect way to describe Melissa Bickford's design style. She has designed SO many of the basics that we use over and over again, and you won't be disappointed with what else she has to offer you along those lines this year! I just adore Melissa's stamping style as well, so it is always such a treat to see her projects each countdown! She has her first set of the year coming out this very month, so you won't have long to wait to see some of the exciting things she has created for your enjoyment this year!
Tiffany Pastor has captured many of your hearts with her vintage distressed style. Since she is first and foremost a scrapbooker, it is always interesting to see how she uses her images with those types of applications. Her next set will be coming later this summer, so you have something to look forward to in the warmer months!

My favorite stamp set of 2009 was Take Note.
My favorite set of 2009 would have to be damask designs! I just love the elegance of that set, and I have so much fun using it! I don’t know if I’ll have time to make a card, so let me take this opportunity to say Happy 3rd birthday to PTI!!! I can’t wait for the rest of the celebration!
Button Bits, Button Bits, Button Bits. Everyday, Holiday and Baby Button Bits. To me they are one lovely, gigantic buttony set that I hope keeps growing and growing. When I saw the first set, it was an aha moment for me. What an absolutely perfect idea! The images are so cute too! Definitely my favorite(s) of 2009
Thanks for the free downloads, I won’t have time to make a card this week but I am going to save it for later. My favorite set this year was the button bits. I am a button fanatic and getting that set(along with lots of PT buttons)was my favorite purchase this year. I really liked it because it combines a stamp with using some of my stash at the same time.
My favorite stamp set of 2009 was Home Made. When I saw that 1st window sneak peek, I knew that I would buy the set.
I only hope I can get a project done & posted to be eligible for the other part of the contest.
Eek! That’s a hard one! I really love Damask Designs, though. It was the first set that I did flips over. It made me completely gitty, and it’s also used in one of my first publications. Very near and dear to my heart. 🙂
Congrats to all of the returning designers! I have no doubt that each of you will bring wonderful creations to PTI. 🙂
I think my favorite 2009 set that I bought is LIFE, and my favorite that I still want to get is fancy flourishes!
i loved home made so much…i know it will be used for special projects for years to come!
Oh wow … thank goodness for a snow day tomorrow so I can make a bunch of cards! 🙂 My fav set of 2009 was probably Polka Dot Basics II … so versatile and I used on almost everything!
My favorite stamp set that I own from Papertrey is Everyday Button Bits! I’ve been a button collecting fanatic for years and this set is the perfect opportunity to use them up and buy more!
Thanks so much for the chance to win such great prizes! 🙂
My favorite set from 2009 was Everyday Button Bits.
I just received today Signature Greetings and can’t wait to dive in and use it! I love the fonts, format, and sayings in that set.
My favorite stamp set of 2009 is Autumn Abundance. Fall is my favorite season and I love the fall florals mixed with the pottery vases! This set also pushed me to grow by trying coloring, which I had always tried to avoid until I saw this set! I found out I really like to color! I would love to see this theme continue into the other 3 seasons!
It is too hard to choose one set from 2009 sets but Beyond Basic Borders is my favorite. The set has lovely images and sentiments! I just love them!
Happy 3rd Birthday! Thank you for the chance to win those wonderful sets!
I’m not sure if I really can only pick one set…I love them all! 🙂 But if I have to I think I would say Polka Dot Basics 2…I’ve used it and used it and used it! Thanks for all the great stamps this year!
My favorite stamp sets (I can’t pick just one) was the button bits sets and In bloom. Love, love, love these sets. So versatile and quick and easy to use. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year.
Right now my favorite set is Star prints, though I can’t wait to get bitty baby blessings.
Wow it’s hard to choose just one but I think the one I REALLY loved-loved was Damask Design. I didn’t purchase it when it was first released but kept seeing all these fabulous projects using it. So I finally got it about 5 months later and now Im always pulling it out!
Also want to say I am so excited about Becky & Niki’s new role with PTI! I can’t wait to see their stamps!!
I loved Damask Designs. The elegance of the images just wows me every time!
Happy Anniversary PTI! I’m looking forward to 2010!
It’s so hard to choose a favorite! I love Vintage Picnic though, and hope to see more vintage-themed sets in the future.
My favorites would be the button bits sets. Just love those! I downloaded the images and I’m off to play!
So excited to see what’s coming from these talented ladies this year! I loved so many sets last year but I’ll call Star Prints a favorite for it’s versatility and wonderful swirly font!
It is always so exciting waiting for the ‘next release’, and seeing the fabulous sets that these talented ladies design for us! Honestly, I can’t pick just one set for my favourite, but I do love all of Dawn’s stamp sets!
My favorite stamp set would have to be “simple valentine” because of the multiple types of stamps included – backgrounds, sentiments and various image sizes.
So many fabulous sets were released this year that it is so hard to pick just one. However, I must say the one I was most excited about was the first buttons set- Everyday Button Bits. What an amazing concept and I love all the new button bits sets that have been added.
I would have to say the Friends ‘Til The End is a standout. It is so subtle in its elegance and versatility. I have seen so many beautiful cards made with it and for different occasions as well. It really is so inspiring to see so many styles created from one set of stamps.
Happy birthday, PTI! My favorite set of the past year is Turning a New Leaf. But I’d also like to give honorable mentions to Life and Giga Guidelines and Communique Curves Sentiments (the best $5 I ever spent at PTI).
I’m so excited about the upcoming year, and I promise to do my part to keep PTI in business! Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite set from 2009 has to be Tea for Two, only because it is the set that led me to discover Papertrey. I meet friends for afternoon tea at least every 3 months, and we exchange tea themed gifts over the holidays. So I did an internet search for tea themed stamps and found Papertrey. I have been a fan ever since.
That is a tough question. I will have to go with Everyday Button Bits b/c when I saw the whole concept I was just SO excited about it.
HI Nichole,
my favourite set – it would have to be Everyday Buttons Bits this was the one that lured me into PTI, and now I have all the Button sets.
Kim B
I must say I’m a note girl so Take Note was at the top of my list. Thanks for the free downloads today. What a special gift!! I am loving this birthday celebration. Happy Birthday Papertrey!
I love them all but I would have to say Signature Greetings has seen the most ink!!! Keep them coming!!!
My favorite stamp set in 2009 was everyday button bits. It has allowed me to make great cards with not a lot of effort. I love the entire button bits line. So versatile and great for scrapbooking as well.
Egads! The kids will have to fend for themselves on Tuesday because there is STAMPING to be done! 🙂
Each and every release in 2009 packed a punch — it’s really hard to pick. I would say that the Button Bits collection was probably the most clever and innovative, though. Great job, all!
I really love In Bloom. I love the organic style of this set. Plus, the line art images allow for so many possibilities. This set is in my cart as I write and I hope to have it in my creative little hands soon! Hee, hee. 🙂
I really like Everyday Button Bits.
I love so many of this year’s sets but there’s a three way tie for my favorite set – I honestly can’t decide between Autumn Abundance, Vintage Picnic, and Everyday Button Bits. I love to color fabulous images and those button sets are so stinkin’ cute and clever! Okay now it’s a four way tie because I just remembered how fun the Holiday Button Bits were. But wait, I also love Damask Designs, Mega Mixed Messages, Star Prints… guess I just love PTI so I hope this doesn’t disqualify me from the amazing prize package, lol!
I’m having a tough time deciding between Fancy Flourishes, Mother, Giga Guidelines, and Tree Trimming Trio. So since I only get to pick one, I will say Mother because the each one of the sayings are perfect expressions that I want to say to my mother. I just used this set yesterday to make a card. It’s an amazing set.
My favorite set of 2009 is Guide Lines two. Love the versatility of the set! I like the whole concept of being able to create multiple backgrounds with one stamp setand the designs of the circular elements are just fabulous!
There were many amazing sets in 2009! I think my favorite is Everyday Button Bits. I love buttons and I love every design in the set! Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest and for all the wonderful free birthday downloads!! It feels like it is my birthday!!
My favorite set released in 2009 is Take Note.
All the stamp sets released in 2009 were amazing and it is really difficult to choose one favorite but if I had to I would say… Take Note so fun, so many uses! I just have to add one more all the Button Bits sets, the concept is like nothing else on the market!
PTI had some amazing stampsets this year–many I wanted, only a few I could get! Everyday Button Bits was my favorite and most used.
My favorite set from last year is Damask Designs.
Absolutely love Everyday Button Bits. I’m surprised it isn’t on your best sellers list.
Thanks for the chance to win.
What a fun idea – thanks for all the free images, hope I get time to play with them! Hard to pick just one favourite…maybe a top 2? Dawn’s Signature Christmas set really filled a hole in my stamp collection & got a lot of use over the holiday season. And In Bloom was awesome – I just love how great it looks to stamp the flower & leaves on coloured paper, cut out & layer- beautiful cards for any occasion!
Mega mixed messages would have to be my favorite set from 2009. There are not too many cards that don’t utilize words.
stamp on…
Tough, tough, tough! I’ll try top 3- life, damask designs & giga guidelines! I only discovered PTI in March- and life was my first set!!! Thank you for all the fun! Off to check out the birthday images!!!
Wow, are you kidding? Narrow it down to a single set from ’09?! Too many to choose just one! I do love my BB Retro, and would love to get Fresh Alphabet. With Sympathy has such lovely sentiments too, for times when it’s hard to know what to say… I could go on and on!
I think the button bits would have to be my favorite, although the January trees set would win for those stunning white birch trees, except it was 2010!!!
I love all the graphics! How much fun! It is gonna be hard to get to sleep now!
Friends ’til the end gets my vote! I love that big hummin flower! Thanks for the downloads!
They are all so wonderful, but I have to say that my favorite is Everyday Button Bits. It is so clever and unique and adorable- I just LOVE it!!
My favorite set released this past year was Vintage Picnic. It is so much fun to work with, versatile, and also brings me back to family picnics with my mom – such a wonderful thing! I love this set so very much! THANK YOU!!
If I HAD to choose a favorite, it would have to be Signature Greetings. I love Dawn’s handwriting and the sentiments are great for so many occasions!
My favorite set of 2009? I was going to say “Through the Trees” (you really hit a homerun with that one) then I remembered that was just last month! 2010!
So back to 2009, this is really tough – I would have to say my favorite set is the one I use the most, “Vintage Labels”.
I also loved the scavenger hunt! Brilliant! While searching for stamp set titles I also made a shopping list. You’re not only a great designer but a savvy business partner. Great Ideas!! I’m enjoying the celebration 🙂
Hands down, everyday button bits. This was my second purchase of Papertrey stamp sets. I saw a card on splitcoaststampers and had no idea that it used a stamp set, but thought it was a very clever lady. Now I know the answer was both! I fell in love and now am the proud owner of six sets and more to come, I’m sure!
My favorite was Everyday Button Bits, followed by the other two 2009 button bit sets. (and baby bits, from 2010!). love those button bits…
It is fancy flourishes for me, great for cards and scrapbooking, but damask designs come a very close second, but then there is turning a new leaf oh and the holiday tag sets. I love them all
I love using buttons on cards…so of course my favorite stamp set of 2009 was Button Bits!!
would love to make some cards, but I work full time and tomorrow is my dh’s b-day…but here’s my favourite set(s) of last year: Damask Designs, both of Dawn’s signature sets and Holiday Button bits 🙂
My favorite 2009 stamp set is holiday button bits.
The list is long but…Vintage Ornaments for me…. love them so much have been working on interpreting the baubles for other special days of the year…. a very close second is Damask Designs. Look forward to what this year will bring, keep it coming ladies!!
Decisions, decisions….while I love all of
the button bits sets and Dawn’s Damask
Designs, I think I would have to say that my
absolute favorite set from 2009 is Lisa
Johnson’s “Life”. It just speaks to my soul. The color combos are endless and I
really love combining all the different
stamps designs. LOVE it!.
No question my favorite set of 2009 was Take Note. Such an awesome idea!
I like them all, but my favorite is Tiny Treats: Valentine
It is so very hard to choose a favorite – there are so many sets that I love. If I have to pick, I must say that it is Everyday Button Bits. This is not a set I thought I was going to really use. So I did not order it during its initial release. When Holiday Button Bits came out, I bought it all because of Nichole’s post with the snowman and Santa. The rest is history. I now own all the button bits sets. I have to say that I am in love with all the Button Bits sets! I can’t seem to put them away. So, these have been surprise favorite sets for me.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to participate in the contest using the images….darn job gets in the way, but I gotta have SOME way of paying for my PTI goodies. LOL!!! I’ve come to love so many sets, but my all time favorite has got to be Scattered Showers….I live in SEATTLE!!! So appropriate!!!
I have to agree that Polka Dot Basics II is my favorite set, too. It never gets old and there’s so many ways to use it.
Soooooo hard to choose only one set!!! I think that would be Beyond Basic Borders… such a versatile stamp set!! Happy Anniversary again!!!
Definitely a later in the year release, but use it all the time Say It With Style is my favorite! Thanks……
I think the Button Bits were just a FANTASTIC idea!
I think my favorite set has to be Damask Designs! Not only because it was one of my first sets but first and foremost because it’s so versatile with all of its sentiments, vocal points and background stamps. From elegant to fun cards – everything is possible!
It’s difficult to choose just one favorite set for 2009! Since I have to name just one, I choose Everyday Button Bits.
Too many FAB set but because I LOVE LOVE polka dots I’ll have to say I did a happy dance when Polka Dots Basics II came out!!
This is soooo much fun!!
I love Baby Button Bit’s… perfect seeing as I just had a baby.lol.
So hard to choose but I would have to say my top favorites were Beyond Basics Borders, Tea for Two, On my Couch, Polka Dot Basics II and most recently, Tiny Treats: Valentine – LOVE these stamp sets!!!
Wow, this is a hard one. I could list a set for each category but I will say I am still in love with Vintage Picnic. I love how the stamp is so versatile and looks totally different each time it’s colored. Just love it!
Now off t check out the designers blogs!
Yay A Challage! I cant wait to play,play,play…..
Gosh – just choosing one set is really hard! I only discovered PTI last summer, so am bowled over by everything! I think my favourite stamp set at the moment would have to be Turning a New Leaf – it is so versatile and everyone loves the cards I have made using it! Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary!
This is all so very exciting! I can’t wait to see what the designers have up their sleeves for us this year! My fav set has to be Turning A New Leaf – I can’t say how much I love this versatile set. Keep ’em coming ladies! x
k Wow, this is difficult. …………My favorite stamp set in Damask Designs. I just love it. So elegant and versatile.
There have been sooooo many great stamp sets released in 2009, I just wish my budget would allow me to purchase all of them! But for me, my favorite release has been Let Freedom Ring……my son has served two tours over in Iraq and I found myself reaching for that particular set more and more after it’s release. I would use it scrapbook pages, and cards I would send to my son and his friends while they were there. Great job!
I love ALL the Background Basics sets, but my current fave is the Hearts set!
My favourite set? Hard to decide but I have used Vintage Picnic on lots of projects and I just love the way the images are just right on all sorts of occasions from birthdays to sympathy cards. My most wished for set is Damask Designs – so elegant.
Thank you to all the designers for sharing the images – so fun and I will be using these for more than just today’s challenge (why do I have to go to work??? I want to stay home and create!). As for my favorite, it would be Everyday Button Bits. I am a button addict, I admit it freely! Plus not only are the images versatile and fun, the sentiments are so sweet. I find myself incorporating the sentiments on lots of my projects. I am excited by the new year and new designers. Congrats to all!
Hard to choose just one, but I fell in love with On my couch the minute I saw it. I so love that set. Damask Designs is a very close second, and of course polka dot basics 2.
my favorite is the one I just got, Heart Prints…. so versatile. I love it!
Ooh well if I could only pick one set from 2009 it would have to be:
ON MY COUCH!
I just love playing with this set, it makes me smile so much! I also consider it a lucky set as it helped me win the August GSS ;D
I’m gonna download the images but sadly can’t play along today – I’m nowhere near my crafty stash until tomorrow night :o( but thanks anyways!
Such a shame I can’t play along in time for the deadline
Wow just one????? Okay I think that I use Damask Designs quite a bit. I am also loving Dawn and everything she does. Her style is fabulous and I adore all of the ideas and cards she shares on a regular basis. Sets that I didn’t think I needed become must haves after a few weeks of watching Dawn’s blog.
It’s a good life!
Terri E.
The set I’m most excited about right now is “Through the Trees” – your samples are spectacular and I look forward to copying every single one of them. lol The set I use the most though is “Mega Mixed Messages”. You’ve covered every base with this one so I reach for it again and again.
Sets I love, but haven’t played much with are Fruitful and Simply Stationery… still hoping to see more samples here and there that I can plagiarize? (please?)
Thank you for all your sets – you guys truly have an “eye” for gorgeous!
Shelly
Really hard to choose just one set, but mine would have to be Polka Dot Basics II because it’s so versatile. I’ve used it over and over.
My favorite stamp set released in 2009 would have to be Giga Guide Lines. It is so versatile and can be used for almost any project.
It is so very difficult to narrow it down to one favorite set, but at the moment I will say Tea for Two. I love tea pots, my grandmom used to collect them, so they hold a special place in my heart.
Thanks for the chance to win such great prizes!!
My favorite 2009 stamp set is probably Signature Greetings. I love the cursive used with the type font in each greeting as well as the utilitarian indispensibility having so many sentiments in one set. xoxo, Aimeslee
How can I pick just ONE???? Well, if I have to – I would say Lisa Johnson’s Life set was just so perfect for a newbie stamper like me! Being able to build lovely floral scapes with different colors and silhouettes of the shapes of the plants just spoke to me – and SO EASY to create a simple yet stunning little piece of art! Thanks for the chance to win!
I really like blooming button bits, but there are many more…wonderful stamps!
enjoy *~*
My favorite stamp set of 2009 is Everyday Button Bits. I use it all of the time and find it so versatile!
Just one favorite set?!! How is that possible? Ok, if I have to pick one, it’s Everyday Button Bits. Geesh, that was hard!
Off to play.
It’s hard to pick just one stamp set! Though if I was to choose one that stands out to me and I choose to use time & time again is In Bloom! I’m looking forward to what 2010 has in store! 🙂
Sooo hard to choose just one fave set from 2009, but I would have to say the top of my list is Signature Christmas. I adore it. I have loved every card I made with this set and kept wishing I had more sentiments in the same style, so I’ve just bought Signature Greetings at long last as well. LOVE them!
I am new to Papertrey, just discovering it a little while ago, so I don’t actually own any Papertrey stamps yet!!! I just love Dawn’s Damask Designs.
It’s so difficult to select just one favorite. There are so many, but my hand seems to pick Big and Bold Wishes over and over again. It is so versatile and can be combined with any one of my other favorites to make something special. I find myself using PTI stamps more often than any other stamps I own.
Star Prints is my favorite from 2009!
Kara
My favorite set was button bits. It was hard to choose because I love so many of them!
A favorite is really hard to pick … I love them all! But I use Damask Designs over and over, it’s just so beautiful and versatile. Happy Anniversary PTI and thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite set for 2009 was On My Couch. It is such a versatile set!
It’s so hard to choose, but if I have to it would have to be Take Note.
I just got curious about cardmaking and found your site. I just received Tiny Treats and I am loving it!
My favorite 2009 set was Damask Designs… I just love what Dawn does both with the designing and the creating aspects!!!
Wow, how to pick just one! I think the one that most inspired me was Home Made. I just couldn’t stop making those great little houses. They were such a big hit with folks on my Christmas list and not a single person could believe they were “just paper” 🙂
It’s hard to pick just one – but I would have to say Turning a New Leaf with Fancy Flourishes being a close second.
Absolutely love Beyond Basic Borders, with Background Basics: Text Style a very close second! And thank you (and the designers) for the downloads – I won’t have time to play this week, but am looking forward to using them soon!
How can you pick just one? I guess my most favorite is Vintage Picnic. So many differant looks from one set.
My favorite stamp set is “Take Note”! I have used it so many times for notebooks as well as cards, plus scrapbooking. I think Mish Wooderson would make a great stamp designer…that girl can sell ANYTHING!! Her ideas are so fresh and fun….I will buy anything she helps to create. I love ALL the 2009 stamps, but Take Note has to be my fav!
Wow….awesome sets and can’t wait to begin creating with the Birthday designs. You rock, Nichole! Thanks for a chance to win and my all time favorite PTI stamp of 2009 was….Tea for Two.
My heart lept when I saw that Becky is going to start designing stamp sets!! Do I see a music-inspired stamp set in the future? *big grin*
My favorite stamp set of 2009 is Giga Guide Lines! I’m sure it wasn’t my single request for some large-size medallions that got this stamp set going, but I feel like it’s my personal set that I asked for! How’s that for pleasing the customer?
Button Bits! The most amazing and innovative set thus far from PaperTrey!!!
What an almost impossible task–picking my favorite PTI stamp set of the year. If I HAD to pick one I would go with the button sets b/c I love, love, love buttons–their feel, texture, color, and the depth they add to a project. I also went with this one b/c it was such a creative and unique stamp set. Keep them coming PTI!
On My Couch!! No doubt, I use it all the time :0)
Oh, every release it seems that I have a new favorite, but I think I’ve probably used Everyday Button Bits the most, if not for the images, for the sentiments. Heart Prints and Star Prints are also favorites of mine. Mmmm, Autumn Tags. Damask Designs. How can I choose? I don’t think I’ve met a PTI set that I didn’t love!
That’s like asking me to decide which of my children is my favorite! I’d say holiday button bits if I have to pick a favorite from this year!
I loved Everyday Button Bits, and also Signature Christmas which I used on nearly every Christmas card last year! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2010! It looks better than ever.
My absolute favourite stamps set of 2009 was hands down In Bloom. So much beautiful colouring in potential, as well as gorgeous background building options.
now, got to finish my work day so I can go home and make some cards !!!
I would have to say everyday button bits. But I LOVE ALL of the button bits sets! But that first one, just absolutely knocked my socks off like no other! I think for that, that has to be m favorite! I love handwritten notes also!
My favourite set of 2009 has to be Take Note. I can’t begin to count how many notepads I have made for friends and family, not to mention using the ever versatile stamps on card projects as well!
Last years anniversary set is my all time favorite set. Next would be Father Knows Best but I love them all and I can’t wait for an exciting new year.
Decisions…Decisions…with so many great stamp sets….but I think I have to go with the first stamp set I purchased from Papertrey Ink…and that would be Scattered Showers. I love that set!
What a fun challenge! I cannot choose just one favorite stamp set from 2009. My top five, in no particular order, are Damask Designs, Giga Guidlines, Signature Greetings, In Bloom and Everyday Button Bits.
I have some many stamp sets that I absolutely love from 2009 and picking just one is really tough. I would say Everyday Button Bits is one of my top favorites becasue it is so unique and such a great idea. Thanks for the chance to win and I’ll try to get some cards made too.
My favorite set from 2009 is Giga Guide Lines. I have all of the Guide Line sets and I love the super-sized version! Thanks for all of the fun you’re planning during these next 14 days – today I was most excited by Becky’s graphic, Heather’s card and Melissa’s birthday wishes. Happy February to PTI and it’s fans!
What a line up! So excited t0 see what is in store…a big congrats to the newbies Becky (loved your concepts for First Fruits) and Nikki!
So hard to choose! I’d have to say Everyday Button Bits was my fave. It seemed to have kicked off the start of a wonderful line. Thank you so much for introducing us to it!
I LOVED any of the Button Bits..Everyday, Holiday, Baby…they are great…keep em’ coming!!! But I loved lots of the sets…so very hard to choose any..I want~need them all!!!
It’s really hard to choose but I would have to say Vintage Picnic. I have not yet tried Copic markers but this set would definitely push me in that direction. Plus I LOVE anything vintage. Keep up the fantastic work!
Gosh, I love so many…But, if I’m forced, and simply have to choose…AAAhhh…I think it would be, On My Couch! I love that it is so unique from anything else that I have seen in stamps. Love it!
How do you expect us to pick only ONE favorite?!? They’re all amazing.
I guess my favorite would have to be everyday button bits.
My favorite stamp of the past year, hands down, has to be Star Prints. It’s such an easy go to set and I can get so many different styles using it!
So many sets to choose from … but I love In bloom ! Love flowers!
I think my favorite 2009 set is Everday Button Bits! The whole idea was kind of revolutionary and still amazes me 🙂 I hope I can play along with the challenge, too, after work!
It is so hard to choose just 1 stamp set that was released last yr because I adored them all.. But if I had to pick.. since I love using buttons I would say Everday Button Bits.
Baby Button Bits is my favorite stamp set. It has so much versatility.
It is really hard to choose just one set that is my favorite from the past year. Everyday Button Bits is at the top of my list. I love having stamps that I can use with my extensive button collection–vintage and new Papertrey buttons–and these stamps are just right for sending an anytime card. Anne, yourmainestamper
Top favorite stamp set of 2009 and ALL TIME: Turning a New Leaf. Hands down. No contest. PTI rocks!
My favorite set for 2009 is Friends ’til the end. I use this set a lot and love the different size flowers that it comes with.
My absolute favorites are any of the Button Bits sets. I have got so much use out of these and it is fun to add bling or flowers instead of buttons too. I think this is not only my fave, but one of the most innovative stamping concepts we’ve seen over the last year.
wow…so fun…cant wait to get home and do this…..
you ask my Fav set of 2009….oh man that is a toughie…Im thinking the buttons bits …all of them!!
Tea for Two is my absolute favorite set of 2009! I love the darling teapots and perfect companion sentiments.
Damask designs! I just love it!!! Its fresh and fun, and can be used many different ways.
What a fantastic celebration for your anniversary! I am “lucky” we have snow in NC so school is canceled and I don’t have to teach today so I can play and craft and enter contests, and make Valentines with my daughter!!!
I think my favorite set this year was Friends ‘Til the End. I have done so many cards and notes books with it, just love it, thanks!
Happy Birthday and Congratulations on your 3rd year, Papertrey! Love all the Button Bit sets, because they are such a fun concept in stamping and very versatile to use on cards. Also think the flower from “Friends til the end” is the most beautiful stamp I’ve seen.
Ugh…this is a hard question, Nichole! I’d have to say my favorite 2009 stamp set was Turning a New Leaf… because of its versatility (like so many of PTI’s stamp sets!) and elegance. 🙂 Thanks for the thought-provoking question. 🙂
Love, love, love Everyday button bits!!! There are many more that I {heart} and many more on my wish list too!
My favorite is “Turning a new leaf”: simple but elegant, delicate but even great for masculine cards.
Ciao
Nadia
Like many of the other PTI stampers, I like more than one of the great stamp sets. Hummm, choose one? Well, guess that would be any of the button bits. They are so darn cute. Gotta love all those pretty buttons!!! Must admit Take Note is right up there to.
I love them all, but always seem to go back to Mixed Messages and Mega Mixed Messages for the perfect fitting sentiment!!
I love all the ‘Button Bits’ Who doesn’t love buttons on their projects & the stamps bring them to life.
Turning a New Leaf was the set that I really loved seeing during the release sneak peeks.
Wish Big is my favorite 2009. It filled a big void in my stamp collection.
Lots of them are my favorites. However, I have to say my ‘Go To’ set has to be Background Basics – Retro. It has to be one of the most versitile sets in the line up.
My favorite 2009 set was probably Life, but the Button Bits sets came in close seconds. Looking forward to what these wonderful ladies create!!
Such a hard choice!!! I have to say that my favorite was Damask Designs. It is beautiful and can make some great backgrounds, but the images can also be a focal point.
Thanks for the chance to win, and congratulations on your third anniversary!
How to pick one set? You have so many amazing designers (including you) in your line up with such variety. The most fun I’ve had is with the In Bloom set. So pretty and versatile! I’ve used it for so many different occasions.
My Favorite set has to be Damask Design, I love how simple and elegant it is. Makes everything I stamp with it look so classy =O) can’t wait to try these challenges when I get home tonight.
My favorite PTI stamp of 2009 is On my couch! I love whimsical stamps and this one just jumped in my cart (LOL). Can’t wait to see what PTI has in store for us all in 2010!
I love the button bits sets…my favorite would have to be the Holiday Button Bits set! 🙂
It’s so hard to pick just one set this year. But I think it would have to be In Bloom. I just love the coloring that you can do with that set. It’s so much fun.
Wow-how hard is it to pick just one! I would have to say Mega Mixed Messages because it has practically every sentiment you will ever need in the new perfect sizing. If I were to pick a mostly image based set it would probably be a toss up between Damask Designs and Polka Dot Basics 2. See I just can’t decide! 🙂
Feliz Anniversario!! Need to say that all designs are great and thank you for sharing. You all are so talented and creative. It’s so hard to pick one but some of my favorites stamps are: Vintage Ornaments, Damask Design, Fancy Flourishes, Everyday Button Bits, Star Prints, and on and on…all are so wonderful.
My favorite 2009 stamp set is simple valentine. It is the first set that I bought from PTI.
Nichole, the design team shared their favorite stamps with us, but you didn’t. What is your favorite set?
It’s really a tough one, but I think my favorite in 2009 was Damask Designs! Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite stamp set from 2009 is so hard to pick!!! I did try to narrow it down and it would be Life and Beyond Basic Borders. I love both of these sets and use them often. Of course I loved many of the other 2009 sets too! I can’t wait to see what 2010 has in store for us!
My favorite by far was Blooming Button Bits because it is so creative and unique. A nice way to use up all the buttons I have.
Although I love pretty much each and every PTI stamp set, I would have to say my favorite stamp set this year is probably Through the Trees! I have been waiting for these beautiful tree images!
Thanks for all of the downloads, I hope to have time tonight to whip up a card (or 2)!
I had a hard time to pick just one favorite stamp set, but the set I use the most is ” Fancy Flourishes” I use it on almost every card I make and my scrapbook pages too!! Looking forward to the releases for 2010..
It is so hard to chose just one so I’ll choose a “family” of sets. The…button bits sets. It has given me the opportunity to buy and use all the luscious button from you and want more. Thanks!
My favorite set of 2009 was Damask Designs. They are fabulous! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
I’d have to say Everyday Button Bits. It made me look at my stash in a whole new way and think outside the box more – love it!
oh my just one set? That is so hard! But I think its either Tiny Treats or Giga Guidelines. I love them both so very much.
My favorite would have to be Signature Greetings. I love the variaation in the font and handwriting. It adds so much visual dinamic to the sayings. It draws your eye in to examin the phrase. I ABSOLUTELY adore the set.
I can’t wait until I get home from work tonight and can make cards with these great images!! I loved all of the Christmas sets from 2009, so I don’t think I can pick just one.
Oh goodness, pick only ONE?!? There’s soooo many wonderful sets from this year – so many in fact, that this is the first year I’ve qualified for the anniversary set… x2! Should I be proud or embarrassed? lol
I think my #1 fave would have to be Guide Lines 2, just because it’s so versatile!
Everyday Button Bits definitely! Absolutely amazing! Happy Birthday PTI!!!!!
My favorite would be Simply Stationery – love the versatility!
I loved them all (as usual) and wish that I would win the lottery so that I could buy all of them!! I think that I have to say that my favorite, though, is Life. The design and the sentiments just spoke to my heart. There is just something so lovely, natural, and true about that set.
I have been having a blast using Tiny Treats: Valentine. The images are so clean and they make me smile.
My favorite set for 2009 is Everyday Button Bits. It was my first order with PTI and I’ve been hooked ever since!
It’s so hard to pick a favorite, but With Sympathy and it’s companion sets definitely are something that you hate to have to use, but are glad you have available. They are like nothing I’ve seen out there.
I have fallen in love with all of the button bits sets. I find myself using them over and over! Way to go, Nicole!!
My favorite 2009 set is Damask Designs. It just has endless possibilites and always hands down gives you such a polished elegant look.
Happy 3rd Birthday and here’s to many more!
My favorite stamp set for 2009 has got to be On My Couch. I just love the images and the sayings are terrific. So many options to choose from.
I love Dawn’s Damask Designs. I think this set will forever be on my crafting table. The versatility and elegance will never be out of style 🙂
My fave is Giga Guidelines, but I must say I turn to Mega Mixed Messages for the majority of my sentiments! So many beautiful sets & many more to come…congrats PTI!
Thanks for the downloads! You all are the best. Trying to pick a favorite set is like trying to decide which child you like best – ha. Seriously, I have been awed (and inspired) by each and every set – love the ‘everyday’ sets and the different holiday sets are, well, ok, they’re my favorite – that’s as close as I’m gonna get. Thanks again for all the time, effort and yes, fun, you put forth in bringing us the different sets and ideas!
Wow, what a great contest! There are so many great sets and designers, it will be hard to choose which one is my favorite! But, I will have to go with the first button set, Everyday Button Bits, it’s one I turn to many times because of it’s versatility. Looking forward to the next year of releases!
I love, love, love, love, love…”Tiny Treats”-Valentine…they are soooooo cute! I have made several birthday cards with them for kids, lunch box love notes for my kids and soon I will be helping my kids make their valentines with them…did I tell you how much I love them?! I can’t wait to see more “tiny treats” additions in the coming year…thanks PTI for all that you ignite in my creative spark!
Every month I have a new favorite – but I will say that Baby Button Bits and Turning a New Leaf are getting a lot of use right now. I LOVE Inside & Out – Baby and SO HOPE THAT MORE SETS ARE COMING IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE FOR Birthdays, Thinking of You, Thank you etc. Those are things that I am always looking for and are harder to find. Please :~)
My favorite set from 2009 is Polka Dot Basics 2! Those dots just work themselves into nearly every project I make!
I also love the dots because I love the background building concept that PTI pioneered! Background Basics Retro, Hearts, Flower Power, Diamonds, Textstyle — such fabulous and well-executed designs that truly changed the way I stamp!
(and I got to sneak a few more favorites into my comment!) 🙂
Thanks for the free graphics. My favorite sets are the Button Bits – especially Baby Button Bits.
WOW it’s so hard to pick just one but if I have to I will pick On My Couch. How fun to work with this stamp set and so different from my usual.
This is a tough one! I’ll say Take Note!
I love so many of the stamp set but it has to be Friends ’til the end for me. My friends are my family and I find myself reach for this one over and over again.
I think my favorite would have to be Everyday Button Bits. Thanks for all the free downloads!!
I don’t have any of your stamp sets yet, but I plan on ordering some very soon!!!! I love your store and blog Nicole!!!! I think I just became your biggest fan!! I stumbled on your store site last week and I can’t stop visiting your site and blog!!! Congratulations on 3 years, and many more to come!!! If I had “big & bold wishes” that would have to be my favorite. I hope I win so I can get started on the fun that you inspire everyday!! =)
My absolute fav PTI 2009 set was Everyday Button Bits! How cool and unique! Just a great, fun set!
My favorite set of 2009 was actually the Tree Trimming Trio and that’s because it was one of my first PTI sets and I LOVE the Christmas cards I made. Of course, the inspiration came from your wonderful design team!
I love the button series, especially Everyday Button Basics. Any way to incorporate buttons onto a card is a wonderful thing!
I cannot play since I have a HUGE math test on Wednesday that I have to study for – but I wanted to say how much I really love your products and style and really look forward to what you have in store for us in 2010.
~Meredith
hard to pick a favorite but it would have to be the button bits sets. I just love this concept and am now hooked on buttons!! I have only one button bits set but hope to get more! Thanks for a chance to win!
I love all of the button bits sets…so clever and so much fun marrying buttons with ink!
everyday button bits are the BEST!
I have a hard time deciding on one set too. I would say the one that I use most often from 2009 is Star Prints as you can use it for so many things, but I also use Fancy Flourishes on almost everything! Wish I had more time to play with all these great stamps!
It might sound easy to pick a favorite set from the 2009 releases. However, I think it is almost an impossible task. At first I was thinking On my couch, then I was thinking scattered showers, then of course there is buttons and bits (all of them)and please don’t forget Vintage Picnic. In the end, I think I will say Sign Language. It is so versatile and I love the cleaness of it.
Way too hard to pick one 🙂 I’d say the whole button bits collection is sooo fun! The one set overall that I see myself using for years to come would be vintage labels.
everyday button bits is my favorite! i love that bicycle!! and the hot air balloon, and oh i love them all!! i think the button idea is adorable.
The set that I have gone to time and time again this year is Every Day Button Bits – I just love everything about it! In fact all the button sets are my favourites – they suit so many occasions.
Happy Anniversay to you and all the team and thank you for so much inspiration!
My favorite stamp set of 2009 had to be Mish’s Vintage Picnic set. I just love Mish’s style, plus, I have my grandmother’s old green plaid picnic box, so this set really struck a chord with me. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win some more great designs!
I just love Damask Designs, but Life and Vintage Picnic are REALLY close seconds!
My favorite set from 2009 is Star Prints. I LOVE the versatility of it……..it can be used for baby, birthday, congratulations, thank you, etc. It is gender neutral. It’s SO easy to use because it coordinates with star punches. The font and sentiments are fabulous. The designs of the stars are awesome. Every stamper needs to own Star Prints. Only one thing would make it better………….a mini set of small stars. 😉
I have been wearing out my Everyday Button Bits and lately my Simple Valentine has seen quite a workout! Can’t wait to see all the goodies to come this year!!!
It’s so hard to pick a favorite, but I think I love Everday Button Bits as much for the images as for all the sentiments included.
I wish my printer was working! I’d love to grab these images! I think I love all of Dawn’s stamp sets this past year… and Lisa’s On the Couch set! I bet I also could name a number of others as my favorites. :o) It was a fantastic year for PTI… can’t wait to see what’s new for 2010!
Oh my, it’s so hard to choose. I love the button bits. They have given me a new perspective on the use of buttons, but I also love the Inside and Out: Baby. I hope we continue to get more inside and out stamps.
Such beautiful stamps – it is hard to decide!!!! But I truly do love blooming button bits. So much versatility! Thanks for such a great opportunity!
-Kristin B
My favorite stamp set this year would be On My Couch! Very fun set to work with!! I am really enjoying all the exciting stuff you have planned!
My favorite was In Bloom but it is hard to choose just one.
How can I choose just one?!? I love them all! But I just recently got ‘Life’ and cannot believe how versatile and beautiful this set is. It stamps effortlessly!
I can’t pick just one…how about tied for my favorite 2009 set are Damask Designs and Turning a New Leaf. LOVE them both so much!!! I can’t wait to see what else 2010 has in store!
WHAT? We have to choose only 1 set? YIKES! I think mine may have to be Giga Guidelines! I love that set, I have used it for cards of all occasions! It’s awesome!
PS – Love all the Birthday images everyone created! I can’t play cuz my printer is broken. 🙁
I will have to say Mega Mixed Messages….I use it the most and it’s the only set that is sitting out on my desk all the time!
Damask Designs was my favorite “non-holiday” specific stamp for 2009. I’ve used it a million times and still love it and reach for it immediately!!
Can’t wait to see all the stamp-y goodness this year!
I love the sets that are made to use buttons! Happy celebration to papertrey and thanks for these wonderfull birthday images!

I love Dawn’s Signature Greetings from the moment I saw it. It dressed up even t he simplest card.
My favorite — Everyday Button Bits!! What a fantastic collection of cute images and sentiments! I love buttons and your button bit sets show them off to perfection!
I have a few PTI stamps sets, but my favorite and most used is * beyond basic borders * .
My favorite 2009 set was definitely Polka Dot Basics II. I did get my 2 other favorites earlier in the yearn(Life and Damask Designs) but was too swamped to make cards much the rest of the year so I hadn’t bought it yet. I am definitely getting it this month.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I am so glad I happened on your blog and found papertrey ink. I love the stamps! Too many sets to choose from! I think my favorite for 2009 was “Take Note”. So versatile and perfect for making gifts! I absolutely loved the samples shown by your team!
What do you mean pick “ONE”???? Okay, fine, I’ll try. I did just receive Dawn’s Say It With Style and I am lovin’ it. I also love your Button Bits sets. I love that cute little couch………..see, I can’t pick just one!
I soooo hope that I can enter a card or two after work this evening.
Winter Swirls was my favourite stamp set of 2009. I used it over and over again to make my Christmas cards. I received so many compliments on my cards this year. So, I love Winter Swirls, because it made me look good!!!
How fun to get free stuff even if I don’t have time to get a card made. I’m having trouble thinking of my favorite set, but I think it would have to say beyond basic borders. It is my most inked set of the year. Of course I love all the sets, but there is something about Heather Nicols designs that I can’t get enough of – I am so happy that she will continue designing for PTI
Isn’t this kinda like asking which of my children is my favorite?! Cruel question but if I had to choose, it would be Everyday Button Bits. Loving the anniversary celebration!
My favorite stamp set of 2009 was star prints. I love stars and this set is so fun to use for all different occasions!
My favorite set of 2009 (and my first Papertrey purchase ever, along with Vintage Ornaments) is Signature Christmas. I made lots of Christmas tags this year and a few Christmas cards and found this lovely sentiment set to be invaluable. (There are lots of other sets that I covet!)
Who could pick just one set? Probably the most unique set was the Everyday Button Bits! It opened a whole new concept in stamping!
My favorite stamp set from 2009 was On My Couch! Such a beautiful concept and can be used for so many things…get well cards, let’s chat cards, home sweet home cards, just to name a few I’ve done. I hope Lisa puts out a few more sets to match and complete this set! I’m thinking a coffee table and some ottomans. Congrats on PTI’s 3rd anniversary!
My favorite stamp set from 2009 is easily the 2009 Holiday Tags Collection. I used this stamp probably 50 times last Christmas to create wonderful tags for holiday gifts. I can’t wait to see the tags for 2010!
It is so hard to pick just one!
I love so many of the designs you have come out with…but the set I turn to most often is “Life”. It is organic, versatile, clean and simple. Perfect for all occasions. Thanks for a great year of inspiration!
My favorite set for 2009 … oh that could be difficult. I absolutely love the concept behind the button bits line and I love using those stamps. But I also love coloring in the flower for Friends ’til the End. So many great sets that it is hard to choose just one. I challenge myself frequently to give love to old favorites as well and newbies to the collection.
My favorite stamp for 2009 was Vintage Picnic. I love the idea w/ different seasons. I would love to see some add ons-which I know you must be thinking about.
My favorite stamp set is Everyday Button Bits.
That’s a tough question because there are so many sets that I love, but if I had to narrow it down I’d say either Everyday Button Bits or Beyond Basic Borders.
Star Prints is my favorite…and my “go to” for birthday cards.
My favorite PTI stamp set is always the one that’s in my hand at the moment. I truly love each and every one. Sign Language is today’s pick.
My most well used and versatile images are from my favorite Life set. I am so looking forward to all that will come in 2010.
Just leaving a comment. I downloaded the Adobe formated birthday images, but had no interest in installing another whatever-you-call it…Scibd, to access the others.
My favorite set of this past year was: Beyond Basic Borders. I love Heather Nichols’ sets. They are so versitle in so many ways.
They are really good and unique and have their own beauty. I cannot choose anything because all of them are really great!
My favorite set of 2009 is the button bits – any and all of them. They are just amazing!
I would think its the co-ordinating color and the Everyday Button Bits which is very clever creation to utilise buttons. Love all the buttons that you have .
There were so many sets that I loved. I really loved tree trimming trio, and I made a lot of my Christmas cards with that set. I also love all of the button sets.
My favourite was the holiday button bits set! It’s too cute! Love all of the button bits sets though!
It’s hard to choose a favorite set of 2009, but I’ve used Turning a New Leaf over and over again! I love using it for a subtle background design or as an accent for a sentiment. All of the background sets have so much fun!

I do love the button bits sets. They are all amazing and so very adorable.
I think my favorite stamp set would have to be everyday button bits. I just adore tht set, actually I adore the entire button bits collection and hope to have all of them eventually!
Happy 3rd Anniversary PTI!
My fav 2009 set (and one I’m continuously borrowing as I still don’t own it) is Tea for Two. I’ve found it to be so versatile for so many occasions. Because I LOVE so many more sets than my craft budget will allow, it’s always a tug-of-war when I do order between those & the need for paper, etc., but still a “battle” I always look forward to!
My fav set of 2009: Holiday Tree. My friend used this set for her fabulous Christmas Cards. Of course all of the sets are so nice. Each time I look at your website I’m inspired and I have all of you to thank for that!!!
My favorite set for 2009 has to be Dawn’s Signature Greetings. I love her handwriting and the mix of font styles together. It really adds class to a card. Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing more of your style.

Happy Anniversary and wishing you many more – to keep all of us in your blog world happy. My fav set is the Winter Swirls.
It is sooooo hard to just pick one! I love Tree Trimming Trio and had so much fun making my Christmas cards using that set. But I also love Signature greetings, Damask Designs and all the button bits, and, and, and……… I absolutely love everyone of the sets I have purchased and the many that are still on my wish list!
That’s a tough question- I dearly love ALL my PTI stamp sets. My “go to” set recently though, has been Damask Designs. I love, love, love that one! That said, my MOST favorite seasonal set is Tiny Treats: Valentine (that is THE most fun I’ve ever had with a stamp set, and I’m still playing with it)!
Lots of wonderful sets. My favorite set from 2009 was Tea for Two! Thanks for the chance to win such a fabulous prize. Happy Anniversary!
I have to say the Baby Button Bits stamp set is my very favorite!! I have had such fun playing with this set. I find myself reaching for it over and over again.
It is simply impossible to pick my favorite set from last year. I have several of them and love them all for different reasons. Life is just soft and elegant. My button bits sets are fun and whimisical. My Heavenly Medley set is inspiring and uplifting. Take note is practical and fun for gift giving. PTI just rocks and you have the best design team in the business! Thanks for making things so fun Nichole! Congratulations on three wonderful years!!Can’t wait to see what’s up for 2010!
I think my favorite set is Sign Language. I love the versatility of this set, it’s good for so many occasions and I just love the sign post itself, so fun!

Tiny Treats were my fave of 2009! So glad they are available again!
On my Couch was so amazing and fun. I see it popping up on blogs all over the place!
There were so many great stamps last year. My favorite would have to be Autumn Tags. I paired it with Lauren’s Tucked In Timeless Template to make favor boxes for my daughters wedding. It was fun from start to finish.
My favorite set for 2009 would be With Sympathy. I’m on the road almost 100% of the time and it filled a hole in my travel stamps. The images can be used for many other things. I ‘discovered’ PTI at CHA last summer and am now addicted. They are perfect for on the road projects. Thank you so much!
My favorite stamp set from Paper Trey is Everyday Button Bits. Hooray for Buttons!
It would have to be the button bits line of stamps…all of them…I have used them in so many cards!
Charmaine
I love reading all about the stamp designers and having the oppurtunity to download some of their designs to use to celebrate Papertrey Ink’s birthday. Choosing just one favorite stamp set from 2009 is nearly impossible…perhaps Home Made, Vintage Labels, Guide Lines II, Simply Stationary, all the Button Bits, all of the Background Basics…as you can see I think everything by Papertrey Ink is pretty darn fabulous!
My favourite set from 2009 has to be damask designs. I wasn’t sure at first if I would use the set over and over again, however I have found it to be very versatile and I love the vintage feel you get.
A close second is Take Note, i just love being able to create those little note books.
It’s easy to pick which favorite set of mine from 2009 is! Everyday Button Bits! I love your button sets! Love love them!
Definitely Fall Elegance. I just love those little pumpkins with the swirls on them.
Wow, thanks for the wonderful downloads. I happen to be working on birthday cards today and these will come in handy. Favorite set of 2009 – that is a hard one. I just received new sets yesterday. I really like Giga Guidelines. So versatile and so easy to use.
It is so hard to pick my favorite as I LOVE all of the PTI stamp sets…..I would say my favorite was vintage picnic and vintage picnic sentiments with Autumn Abundance coming in next. Can’t wait to see what is in store for us this year. PTI ROCKS!!!!!!
My most used sets are Fancy Flourishes and Turning a New Leaf, so they must be my favorites. However, In Bloom, Life, and the Button Bits sets are right up there also. How does one choose just ONE from all the fabulous sets of 2009????
A BIG thank you to all of your talented DT, their generosity is amazing!
I absolutely am in love with all of the button sets and I can’t wait to see what else you and your team come up with.
Hard to pick one favorite! Dawn’s stamps sets are some of my favorites. I love Damask Designs for it’s versatility. It’s such a great set to use!
Don’t know if I can just choose one! I’ll go with Signature Greetings because one can never have enough sentiments 😀 Thanks for the chance to win.
I think my favourite has to be Take Note – i also love the button bits sets too! Theres one set better than the next so it gets harder each month to choose!!
Wow, picking one set is way too hard-but the first one that comes to mind, the one I used more than any other last year was In Bloom. Those gorgeous flowers that are so versatile are an absolute must have!
Definitely Damask Designs. I’m excited about the year ahead with PTI.
I can’t wait to see what all these fabulous designers have in store for 2010! My favorite 2009 set was Signature Christmas.
I have to say that my favorite was Vintage Labels! I love how it coordinates with my spellbinders die! Love it! Love all the birthday downloads! Thank you so much for that!
I’ve been in love with buttons for a while and the introduction of the Button Bit sets only added to my love of them. What great sets for carding making and adding embellishment to so many other projects. Happy Anniversary!
I have really started buying more PTI stamps. The major reason is that I submit to card publications and so often “other” stamp companies’ images are retired. I have used Signature Greetings so many times. It’s a lifesaver and I’m not sure this was a 2009 or not, but I love “Through the Trees.” Happy Birthday and Congratulations to all the new illustrators and designers.
My favourite stamp set for 2009 has to be Background Basics: Text Style. I use it on almost every card. It’s so subtle yet it’s “there”!
my favorite set of 2009 was definitely everyday button bits. i love the concept and love how it went in so many different directions, flowers, babies, holidays, just a genius idea!

I loved Signature Greetings. So elegant, the mixture of the 2 fonts. I’m so lucky to have it and I’m using it al the time. Congrats on your 3rd anniversary. Thanks for the opportunity to play along. Love Papertrey. Bye Irene from the Netherlands

My favorite stamp set of 2009 was Giga Guidelines. I love this set for it’s versatility.
There are so many wonderful sets it’s hard to choose only one but probably the one I use the most that I almost didn’t even order is Vintage Picnic – I use it ALL the time – it’s so versatile. LOVE it. Happy anniversary to the whole team – thanks for another year of awesomeness 🙂
My favorite set is Damask Designs. I absolutely love the images and the sentiments as well. It was my first Papertrey Ink set too!

Everyday Button Bits is so cute, especially the bike!
It’s really hard to choose a favorite set of 2009. I love all of my PTI stamp sets. But if I can only pick one, I would say Everyday Button Bits for now, because the images and sentiments in the set are so cute and useful. I also really love Signature Greetings. So elegant, and I use it all the time. On My Couch, In Bloom, and Turning a New Leaf are what I want next. I adore PTI Stamps. I just want to play with all of them. Happy 3rd Anniversary!!!
Button Bits…any variety… are my favorites from 2009!
My favorite stamp set for 2009 was “Turning a New Leaf”! I love that one because it is so versatile. It can be used as a background or a focal point and it has so many different sizes in the set. Off now to make a card with the birthday images! 🙂
Tough to pick just one…I think it’ll have to be Big and Bold Wishes… Congrats again!
i love the beyond basic border set…because of that really neat little tree. i never tire of looking at it!
Last year’s stamp sets were wonderful, and of all the sets I love, Turning a New Leaf is my most favorite. Thank you for all you put into PTI’s products!
My favorite set this past year was Everyday Button Bits. I just love the images in this set. I can’t wait to see what all of these designers have in store for us this year!
I think my favorite set is Life. I reach for it all the time because of its versatility.
It is really hard to choose just one set as a favorite! I really love damask designs, but I also love the handwriting sets from the team and form Dawn….. Guess I’d have to go with Damask Designs over all… so versatile and making backgrounds is just fun 🙂 Thanks so much for the chance to win, I LOVE PTI anniversaries!
It’s hard to pick just one. I guess my favorite set is either In Bloom or Friends till the End. Vintage Picnic is close too.
Just one? Seriously??? That’s a tough choice. I absolutely love Home Made and all the Button Bits sets, but then I also love On My Couch and Scattered Showers and a whole bunch of others! Congrats to the new designers. I can’t wait to see all the new stuff this year!
Such a tough question when you loved them all, but I guess my absolute favorite is the Take Note set. I have had so much fun creating all types of little notebooks for friends, family and myself 🙂 I’m such a list person, so this was right up my alley!
Well, that’s a toughie- but I guess I’d say cupcake collection because it combines my 2 favorite things – cupcakes and stamping! Such sweet sentiments on that one!
Thanks for the chance to win!
This looks like so much fun! I wish I had time to play….I will just have to enjoy everyone else’s amazing creations. :0)
My favorite PTI stamp set of 2009 was the first PTI stamp set I ever bought – Everyday Button Bits. It was just too cute to pass up. And the set is so versatile. I have used it a lot. The great quality of the stamps has converted me from a die-hard rubber stamper to a clear stamper.
Btw… I have purchased four additional PTI stamp sets since then plus lots of paper 🙂
I can’t participate today due to my real job (stupid real job) but thank you for the chance to enter with a comment.
My FAVORITE (AND ALL TIME FAVORITE) 2009 stamp set is button bits. I LOVE buttons. Really, I love them way too much so a stamp set that lets me use them even more often almost sent me overboard. 🙂
I just linked my card with my favorite set of stamps – Damask Designs. I just love this set.
simple valentine was great as well as take note. thanks for the free images.
My favorite set for 2009 was Vintage Picnic.Very clever idea and images. I rec. a lot of great comments from friends & family who I sent cards to using this set.
I think my most favorite has to be Home Made because I made about 10 houses using the wonderful template and these window/door stamps this past Holiday season! but running close second and third is On my Couch and Vintage Picnic!!
Wishing You is my favorite. It’s PERFECT!!!
Gotta say my favorite set is With Sympathy. I find the images and sentiments make the most beautiful cards. It is very difficult for me to find the right words to incorporate in such a sad card but you have eased that burden with this set! Thanks.
Whew! 2009 was fine!
(Ok…sorry about that…must get chocolate fast!

I cannot wait to see what this year has to offer!
I had so many favorites from 2009, if I had to choose, it would be Everyday Button Bits. I love the mix of the cursive font with the clean type and all the images. It’s one of those sets that just inspires me to make the best projects I can!
My favorite was Through the Trees. As soon as I saw the first sneak peak I knew I had to have it. So versatile and it’s a good set to use for masculine cards.
Favorite stamp set? Really? Is that even possible???
Of those that I own, it’s a toss up between Vintage Ornaments (and additions) or Vintage Labels. I have gotten more miles out of those 2 sets!
Of those that I haven’t yet purchased, probably, Scattered Showers (and additions), Backgroung Basics: Text Style, Polka Dot Basics (either of them), Damask Designs…. I honestly could go on and on but I’ll stop there.
Thank you PTI!!!
Happy Birthday, PTI!!!
I have to agree it is hard to pick just one stamp set! If I had to pick, it would be Scattered Showers. I have used this set quite a bit. I just love the fun sentiments 🙂 Thanks for all the opportunities to win.

I have to say..”everyday button bits” is my favorite.
I was first introduced to Paper Trey at CHA in Orlando…and it has been love ever since.
Thanks for making such beautiful products!!!
So hard to choose just one because they are all fabulous. But I guess my favorite one that really stands out would be Damask Design.
2 DAYS? Thats It? O.k. first of all, I get your blog updates by email, so I get them one day late after you post them. Then, I didn’t get home from work till 6:00 p.m. of which then I had to spend some time with my family, make supper, laundry, etc. Today, back to work again. Then, I finally sit down to look at my email and see this fun contest which I would HAVE LOVED to play along with, only to discover that I only have until tomorrow morning to play, I mean COME ON! Have some sympathy for the working woman. Give us at least a week to play! Why the rush?
Well, I guess I’m unable to play along, but I did visit everyone’s blogs and download their graphics, except for Tiffanys. I don’t have the adobe flashplayer, and cannot seem to upload it, so I was unable to get that one. Thanks for all the freebies.
My favorite stamp set of 2009 was Button and Bits!
Really… I can only choose ONE!!! That is a very hard task. PTI has some much GREAT sets! Since I have to choose one, I choose Turning A New Leaf, there are so many beautiful project you can make with this set.

The stamp set from 2009 I’ve been having the most fun with LATELY is Fresh Alphabet, so I consider it my “current” favorite. That said, I love every set I bought last year!!
My favorite would have to be a tie between With Sympathy (I seem to pull that out all the time for many other reasons other than just sympathy cards) and Fancy Flourishes. I use that one all the time too – the perfect finishing touch!
Just one? Not even, but I will tell you that Everyday Button Bits is at the top of my wish list right now. Thank you to all of the designers sharing with us today. I am going to try to get one or maybe seven cards done tonight. Happy Birthday PTI!

Wow. Favorite set of 2009? That’s like, which of your children is your favorite? That’s a toughie, but I think it would be Friends til the End. I love that big ol’ flower. Just ask the people who read my blog…

Lots of fabulous sets to chose from…..Blooming Button Bits ! Just because buttons are so hot right now! You were a trend setter!!
My gosh, how can I possibly pick just one favourite set from last year?! I feel like I’m cheating on all my other sets, lol.
I think I’ll go with Guide Lines Two – still one of my most used and versatile sets! But then they all are!
I can’t believe you are making us choose one favorite set! I think mine would have to be Damask Designs. But, there are so many others that I often reach for…it’s a tough decision.
Damask Designs is my all-time favorite PTI stamp set. I love it so much!
It’s hard to pick just one set…..they are all fabulous! I would have to pick Home Made as my top fav! Just love that set.
Hmmm, it’s going to be hard to pick just 1 favourite set, but I think I will have to say Damask Designs. It arrived yesterday, can’t wait to put it to use. (along with my Giga Guide lines, which would be my next favourite this year)
I’ve spent time all day trying to decide my favorite set of 2009 – it’s so hard! I suppose it would be On My Couch, which just barely beats out at least a half dozen other lovely sets. Mega Mixed Messages gets inked the most, though. Congrats on 3 years, and thanks for the chance to win!
oh I think the Signature Greetings was one of my favorites for sure. Fun, kicky, and handy greetings which I’m still coveting 🙂
I absolutely loved Everyday Button Bits! Those little birds were just so darn cute! I also loved Scattered Showers and Life. All of those are so versatile and so much fun to work with! I can’t wait to see what you girls have in store for 2010!

Hmm…this has been my first full year as a PTI customer and, as my wallet can attest to, many many stamps were must-haves! But, I’ll say my favorite release is Background Basics: Text Style, simply for the use it gets. I use this set (and its counterpart set) on tons of projects and never get sick of it.
I’m not sure I can choose just one – I LOVED all the button bits sets! But if I have to pick………well, I guess Everyday Button Bits wins.
Although it is hard to pick a favorite mine for this year was Tea For Two. I have used that over and over and always get a nice comment about how lovely my item is. Second favorite would be the button sets. They are so unique and I love using them. I love how PTI has such a variety of stamp sets but also so elegant. Thank you.
This is an extremely hard question Nichole! If I can only pick one set, I think I would choose…Take Note. I love those little notebooks, and I especially love the fact that I can now personalize them with this awesome stamp set!
WOW – fabulous designers!! Can’t wait to see each of their stamp sets as they all have such great style!

Oh thank you for letting us leave comments. My scrappy days are limited to just the weekends so I won’t be able to submit something in time. I will, however, probably download the cool images and use them later. My absolute favorite of 2009 was **Fancy Flourishes**. I can not live without it! I think everyone must own it. I am still finding new ways to use it and embellish other stamps in my stash. No other flourish sets are as pretty and versatile in the sizes offered.
This was such fun to work with these wonderful graphics from the fabulous design team. I hope this is a sign of things to come. Thank you.
My most favorite stamp set of 2009 was Take Note. I just love that set! I use it so often to make so many things, notepad, scrapbook pages, altered notebooks… thanks for a chance to win and Happy Birthday!

A close second is Tea for two, because I adore all sorts of teacups and teapots and that set had fabulous lines!!

So many to choose from. My very favorite is Vintage Picnic – so versatile!
Just one? That’s hard but I would have to say that I really loved Take Note.

Hmm…How to choose just one!?! Well I guess the one that is the most stained by my red and pink inks is Polka Dot Basics II, so I guess that must be my favorite! Although Fancy Flourishes is a close second! Thanks for making my first year as a card maker great! I never knew there were so many possibilities when I started out with this little hobby!
I really love ALL stamps that combine with a punch or die.. and when I saw the “vintage labels” I was soooo excited that finally someone made a stamp to combine with the Nestie’s!! I sooooo hope to see some more of the images to combine with the rest of the Nestabilities labels series as they are all so cool!! thanks so much.. tu amiga Kat..
This one is tough. What I love about PTI is that I don’t get ‘hung up’ on a set. I see opportunities to mix and match things from everything….so a favourite?? Hmmmm. I’m going to say Turning a New Leaf, because it has so many possibilities….but I will probably have changed my mind by tomorrow (or in 5 minutes time!) :0)!
My favorite 2009 stamp set is Say It with Style. I just love that font!! And I got to use it to make your birthday card that I linked above. Congrats and blessings for a wonderful Birthday!
My fave and most anticipated stamp set of 2009 was definitely a three way tie for Signature Christmas, Turning a New Leaf, and Winter Swirls. Trying to pick a favorite PTI set is really difficult but I know the ones I have used again and again and dearly love are Everyday Button Bits and Vintage Picnic. Thanks for continuing to provide the best products and priceless inspiration. Happy 3rd Birthday!
I like a lot of sets from 2009 but the one that stands out as my favorite was the Take Note set. It was so smart to have the note pads to sell along with this set! Maybe if I start now, I can have my note pads done for Christmas 2010!
I really wish I could have played along with the challenge and made a card. I’m currently without a computer at home, so I’m not able to post anything to my blog.
Anyway, it’s really difficult to choose just one favorite set from all that were released last year. I loved them all! The one set that saw the most ink was probably In Bloom. Thanks for the chance to win!
My favourite is Background Basics: Text Style II because I can use it for pretty much anything!
Uber fun challenge, Becy’s image rocked my world!
My favorite PTI set is prob button bits but tiny valentine is becoming a fast fav!
Dawn’s sentiment set is fantastic!
Had to be the button bits all three…hands down!
My favorite set of 2009 was Vintage Picnic! Just love the versatility of this set, all the goodie to put in the basics and the perfect matching sentiments!
I have so many favorites, but I always love On My Couch. I fell in love with it ever since I saw the peeks!!
Thanks for the free downloads! Unfortunately, I don’t have time to make a card before the deadline. My favorite set is the Everyday Button Bits. I think I’ve ordered buttons every month to go with the stamp set. It is so much fun to incorporate buttons with the stamp set. Thanks again for the wonderful ideas and inspiration.

My favorite stamp set from 2009 was Bird Watching–I like birds and bird houses and the sayings go for so many occasions.
So many awesome sets, but i think Scattered Showers was my favorite.
Turning a New Leaf is my favorite. But then again, it’s hard to pick just one.
As much as I love ALL my sets and buttons!…I’d have to say Vintage Picnic for images because I love to paper piece and use my Copic markers. My favorite sentiment set is Handwritten Notes for its versatility. I’m sure that will change as I continue to challenge myself with others! Thanks for adding a little more sunshine to my day….every day I visit!
Tough call. I probably use Mega Mixed Messages the most from 2009. I really like In Bloom and Giga Guidelines also. Happy Anniversary!
I loved all the Button Bits sets. Such a clever and unique idea and such cute stamps!
Happy 3 Year Anniversary! Thank you for the wonderful contests and opportunity to win these great prizes. My favorite stamp set is In Bloom. I love the flowers and use this set for many cards. Thanks again.
Hmmmm….my favorite of 2009? The background basics: hearts set. Love it, and can be used for so much!
♥Lea
I’m not sure I could pick just one set to be my favorite, but I guess, if I had to pick one, it would have to be Everyday Button Bits. I just love this set.
Thanks for the chance to win
i love Signature Greetings – would relaly love to own that!
My fave set was Signature Greetings
I love Lisa’s LIFE set – such beautiful images to work with and great sentiments too!
Whew…did ’em all! Thank you to everyone for the freebies!!! My favorite set…is hard to choose; it’s a toss-up between Polka Dot Basic I & II. I love love love polkies!!!
My favorite set(s) is On my Couch and On my Couch Additions.I love creating little scenes with these stamps.
Thank you for all the freebies! My fave for 2009 is a toss up – either Guidelines II and FRiEnDs ’til the end. Both are fabulous for their own reasons! Thanks for all the inspiration and the chance!!
I think I am most excited about Through The Trees. I don’t know if that’s because it is still new and fresh in my mind, but I totally adore that set. I use natural themes like they’re going out of style and I have so many plans for the set. I love stamps that can work for men and women alike and Through The Trees really gives me that versatility I crave. Of course, I love everything I’ve ever ordered from Papertrey, but that’s my current favorite!
There were so many it would be hard to choose, but I love Take Note, because I love to make notepads, etc for gifts to give. Thanks for the constant inspiration.
I like many of the PTI stamps…. one of my favorites is “In Bloom” Thanks for the chance to win!!!

This is so hard to narrow down, but if I have to pick one it would be Everyday Button Bits. I loved the concept the moment I saw the first sneak peek! I have loved every one of the button bits sets since…keep ’em coming!!
‘On My Couch’ seems to be my favorite.
Although, I love, love, love ‘Bitty Baby Blessings’ but I’m not sure when it was released.
Now I am in love with ‘Baby Button Bits’!
Great job and Happy Birthday!
Super fun challenge today!
I LOVE TO WORK FOR FREE STAMPS!!!!!!
Wow. It’s really hard to pick just one set from 2009. I think I’ll go with Mod Squad. But I want to add Damask Designs, Giga Guide Lines, Say it with Style, and Everyday Button Bits as runners-up!
I think Damask Designs was my favorite set. It has gotten the most ink, for sure!!

I am new to PTI and just blown away by all the wonderful stamps! I really LOVE the IN BLOOM set…those flowers are so pretty!
On My Couch is my very favorite stamp set ever. I even learned how to put it on my Amazon wish list, in hopes that one of my children would buy it for my birthday!
Favorite stamp set was Button Bits!!
My favorite set is Everyday Button Bits…it’s just so cute and clever; and I love that you keep coming up with new ideas/images for buttons. Keep ’em coming!
My favorite set was Everyday Button Bits. Clever!!!
I’m probably too late but Holiday Button Bits was my fave, but really you know they are all my fave don’t you?!
I’m really looking forward to seeing Becky’s stamps this year. I love her style and know from her preview that I’m going to love her stamps too. I’ve always loved illustrators and think it’s wonderful she’s following a dream. You go girl!!
I did not have time to make a card today, but thankyou for the downloads I will try them out later. now for the set that I liked for 2009….. I liked many of them but because it was not that long ago I will say Tiny Treats: Valentine
My fave for 2009 was Holiday Button Bits…just loved it!!! Thanks for the chance to win such a GREAT prize:-)) xL
Borders and corners (all of them) and two for tea. That’s for starters. It’s a good thing I don’t get paid to pick favorite stampsets.
Eveline.
It is way too hard to pick a single favorite set from 2009. But if I have to pick, I would say Blooming Button Bits. I don’t generally gravitate toward flower sets, but I love the images in this set.
Other favorites: Cupcake Collection, Beyond Basic Borders, Vintage Ornaments, ok I love ALL of the sets!
My fav for 2009 is Vintage Picnic. It is so versitile. Can’t wait for all the 2010 releases!
Everyday Button Bits was my favorite set for 2009. I’ve always struggled with how to use buttons on a card, but this stamp set made it soo easy!
loved so many sets this year… I *think* my favorite is Holiday Tree. LOVE it 🙂
It is a close race on my favorite sets….my top three are mega mixed messages, fancy flourishes and turning a new leaf…but I think turning a new leaf wins…I have used that on so many cards this year – I love that there are all different size leaves…just perfect!
There are so many favorites sets, but if I have to choose just one. I love tags as I use the tags for my favorite pastime of baking. I own four sets from 2009. I love sayings also and my Mixed Messages get lots of use. I have both the small and big set. I wish I could join the download project, but my time is so limited. I will have to download as save for the weekend to play and have fun! Thanks for the chance to win some more PTI stamps, just love them!
Your anniversary marks my first year as a loyal Papertrey customer…I “found” you last year just as your anniversary celebration was ending. I had no idea what kind of addiction I was about to develop! Let’s just say…ummm…I have so bought so many stamp sets it’s difficult for me to choose my favorite. I love them all! The very first purchase I made was Beyond Basic Borders, and I still find myself going back to it over and over. I’m not sure I could say it is my favorite, but it is definitely up there with Everyday Button Bits, Vintage Labels and Holiday Signature Greetings. Thanks so much for everything you do for us!! The details do not go unnoticed!
It’s nearly impossible to choose a favorite, but I have to say I go to Damask Designs for so many projects. I love it for a simple card or used repeatedly as a background.
So many amazing sets – my favourite is button bits.
Everyday button bits is my 2009 favorite set! Can’t wait to see 2010 releases!
Love the Holiday Button Bits set.
Choosing my favorite stamp set is like trying to choose my favorite child! I’m going to have to go with Signature Greetings, but don’t tell the other stamps. K? :O)
I’m so sad that I can’t participate in the card-making. 🙁 I wasn’t able to print it properly on my printer — it kept getting smudged. I love all the PTI sets. Though I don’t own it, I love Vintage Picnic. 🙂
My favorite from 2009 – In Bloom!
My favorite 2009 set was Everyday Button Bits. It was a great set to use with my 3 year old. Coupled with a TON of PTI buttons and glue dots, she made some great sets for family.
Mr. Linky certainly is magical — my entry for the emboss resist challenge ended up here by mistake! 🙂 Oops! But while I’m here, about that favorite set of 2009? Favorites are SO hard to choose, but the first one that comes to mind is Turning a New Leaf. I know I will use it many times!
I just love the Button Bits line. Buttons are one of my obssessions! Thanks for such a great site. This is my first blog challenge to participate in…I may be hooked!
One of my favorite stamp sets is Heart Prints! I don’t think I could live without it! OH, and polka dot basics too!! Thanks PTI!! 🙂
Hi from snowy Holland, love your cute Easter
products and during the bloghop I counted a total of 19 eggs.
Button bits!!! That set is the greatest idea ever 🙂 so universal and fun, it can be adapted for nearly any occasion which is great in a crunch!!!
