To begin with this morning, we are traveling to Japan!
I've always found the Japanese culture fascinating. From the unique style of artistic expression and it's meaning & history behind each traditional routine that they incorporate into their lives on a daily basis. Your challenge is to create a project that is inspired by either the colors, the design or the themes that are prominent in the Japanese culture. Stumped for ideas? Google "Japan" or "Japanese Art" for thousands of inspiration pieces.
The Fine Print:
- You have until 7am EST, Tuesday, October 6th to participate in this challenge.
- To be included in the contest, you must post a link within the Mister Linky box below by the designated date. (Mister Linky is now up and running! For those of you that had already linked int he comments, feel free to also add yourselves to the Mister Linky box, you will be entered to win either way. Thanks for your patience!)
- The link must lead to a project that follows the guidelines for this challenge. The link can go to your blog, online gallery (such as 2Peas, Splitcoaststampers, PhotoBucket, Flickr) or any other online presence that you like to utilize.
- Only one entry is permitted per person, per challenge.
- One randomly selected winner will be chosen on Tuesday, October 6th before noon EST. All WCMD Challenge winners will be posted on our WCMD Winners Page at that time, which can be found HERE.

I hope for this “win” more than any I have ever participated in. My am aching to have the Floral Fusion stamp set. Please…… It would be a nice and forever memento of my mom, since it was her 102nd birthday card, and a favorite card of mine.
Great challenge!

In the fine print, it doesn’t say if we have to use PTI or not. I haven’t been able to get an PIT yet, but would love to play the challenges (if I have time!) and maybe win some. Thanks!
Love the pictures you posted for all the challenges to inspire us 🙂
Thanks for giving us the chance to win something…

Love these challanges I wish I had more time so I could do all of them.
I really enjoyed playing with the concept of using the Japanese inspiration in a way that might not be obvious at first glance. Thanks for the push; I love my card!

Thanks so much for the great challenges, I sure do love anything oriental so this was fun.
I finally got a chance to play along – at least with one of the fun challenges. Thanks Nichole for bringing the world to us for this event!
The Japanese culture has so much beauty in it. Thanks for the lovely challenge (and the chance to win!)
PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME FROM #4. Incorrect link. I would do it if I could figure out how to just “cross out” my name.
However the link posted above in the comments section IS correct.
Thank you!
All great challenges. Here is my submission for Challenge #1: Japan. I knew right away which patterned paper I wanted to use.
