Do you remember Hint #2 and Hint #10 from last week?   I think those clues were perceived as some of the most intriguing by all of you, judging by the number of comments they received!  Well, today is the day that you finally find out exactly what we were hinting at!

Logo
You are cordially invited to Orlando, Florida for the very FIRST Papertrey retail experience in history!  That's right!  You heard it here first!  Papertrey Ink will proudly be operating a booth at the first ever CHA Craft SuperShow, July 31st – August 1st.  Many of you may have heard of CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) previously as the *IT* place to be twice a year to spot hot new products.  Previously, it was an event only for retailers and others directly affiliated with the craft industry.  This year they are adding a 2-day extension to their summer show that is designed exclusively for YOU, the consumer, to come in and purchase merchandise directly from all of your favorite companies!
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
And this will not just be for paper crafts!  All other areas of the craft industry will be represented as well, such a fabric arts, beading, wood crafts, yarn & fiber works, painting and much, much more!  It is like having the opportunity to go to a stamping convention, but being able to see things from several different facets of crafting at the same time, rather than focusing exclusively on just one.  I personally find this aspect particularly exciting, since so many elements of other crafts are gradually crossing over into paper crafting!  As I always tell my friends, I've never met a craft I didn't like!
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
Raspberry Fizz
So you may be wondering what will be going on at the Papertrey booth and why you should come.  Well, for starters we will have nearly ALL of our exclusive colored products available for sale!  We're talking cardstocks, ribbons, inks and more *new* products that haven't been revealed yet! *wink*

…………………………………………………………………………………………..

You'll be able to see and TOUCH everything, all in one place!  In addition to all of our exclusive color collections, we will also have many of our stamp sets in stock and ready for you to take home to add to your growing collection!
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
Debbie-&-Mish

We will be conducting FREE make and take projects throughout the two days of the show!  And we have asked two VERY special ladies to be in attendance to provide you with tutorials in person!  Our very own Michelle Wooderson and Debbie Olson!  Both of these amazingly talented women have SO much to share, teach and demo.  It will be like having front row tickets to the best show in the house!
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
Still not convinced?  There's one more enticing detail that I have left to share, and that is that there will be a limited edition, CHA show only stamp set available to show attendees!  This unreleased stamp set will have a retail value of $15 and any customer with a total purchase of $100 or more during the show will receive this CHA exclusive set for FREE!  This stamp set will not be available for sale before or after the show!  Now, how's that for exciting!!!

Oh, yeah!  And don't forget that Disney is nearby as well!  Just throwing in that little nugget of information as your wheels start turning, thinking of ways to convince your hubby to go!  Think family vacation with a *small* side attraction just for you!
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
To get you in the shopping spirit, We have planned an extra special giveaway today!
Tote-prize-pack

(Click on the above image for a larger view!)

A one of a kind embroidered shopping tote, perfect to use during your first Papertrey shopping experience if you happen to decide to join us.  The bag is completely lined and has a single interior pocket, perfect for holding your cell phone, keys, or………. a $100 Papertrey gift card!!!! You can choose to use the gift card at our grand CHA consumer shopping experience this summer (the $100 purchase would get you that free limited edition set too! *wink*) or use it online at our webstore at any time throughout the year.
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
All you need to do to enter to win this Papertrey Bag Prize Package is take us up on a little challenge!
Bag-challenge

Now doesn't that sound like a fun way to get your creative juices flowing?  Alter something as ordinary as a brown lunch bag!  Play with any of our lined coffee bags or glassine bags that you might have on hand.  Have fun experimenting with some of those Timeless Templates you may have already downloaded.  Or perhaps you want to work on your sewing skills and stamp your own fabric to create a simple tote like I did HERE.  If you feel especially inspired, you can create an all-new bag design and share the instructions with all of your online stamping friends!

Whatever you decide, be sure to play along before 3am EST (midnight PST) Feb. 6th when the contest & challenge officially closes!  Link your project to this post by using the Mr. Linky Widget installed below.

You MUST provide a link DIRECTLY to your project.

Any links that do not adhere to this stipulation will be deleted.

If your link has been deleted, feel free to submit again and add your corrected link to the list

One of the linked participants will be randomly selected to win the aforementioned Papertrey Bag Prize Package!  The lucky winner will be listed on our Anniversary Prize Page after noon EST Feb. 6th.  Good luck to everyone!!!

Creative-Clicks

Michelle Wooderson has already created a project meeting this bag challenge!  Stop by to see it and have a chance to win it!  You won't want to miss out!

Niki Estes has played along to!  And with a project that is just in time for Valentine's Day!

You can see a little something from Dawn McVey, using one of her bright signature color schemes!

And you just have to take a peek at the ADORABLE bag created by Betsy Veldman using the new popular Fresh Alphabet stamp set!

Geny Cassady created a special valentine bag project too, that is sure to inspire!

And wait until you see Melissa Phillips take on this challenge!

P.S. We are only attending the consumer portion of the show!  We are not going retail! 🙂

Oh gosh, now to find time to craft a bag in the next 24 hours when I have to work all day and host the monthly poker game tomorrow. I have to figure it out though because that is like.. the best prize ever!! (ok the free stamps for a year thing is better… LOL)
Seeing PTI at the show would be simply amazing, especially to be able to do a make and take with Debbie and Mish! I will spend the next several months pondering how to make that happen 🙂

Darn! I wish I could go to Florida for CHA but DH just scheduled our family vacation for those days for us to go to Kentucky to visit some of his family that my dds and I have never met. That weekend was the only time his mom and DH could get off work at the same time.

Another darn because I would love to participate in the challenge but it isn’t going to happen. I keep all my crafting supplies at my sister’s house and my car died this morning. There is no way I can walk to my sister’s house in the -2F temperatures we are having right now.

Can’t wait to see what those of you who can participate create!

One thing I couldn’t find was information regarding registration for consumers – if you know where we might find those details, that would be so helpful.
Thanks for sharing this great news; I might have to make a Papertrey paper chain to count down the days.
