Around & About Sentiments is a collection of sentiments formed into circles and borders, allowing the words to be decorative and functional all at the same time. The number of uses for these stamps is absolutely limitless and you will surely find yourself turning towards them again and again. The round sentiments specifically have an opening in the center that allows them to be combined with a few small images included in the set, or mix & match with other stamp sets in your collection. I have a couple projects that I created using some of the above combinations. This first one is a card perfect for the upcoming celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. It uses the small clover image that can be found in our Limitless Labels stamp set that was released last year. The clover along with all of the other mini images in this set work well with the round borders in Around & About Sentiments.

Here is a closeup of how well the clover fits within the sentiment border from the new stamp set. Punching out the different layers and using foam dimensionals really adds a lot of needed emphasis to this small-scaled focal point.

I tied a button with embroidery floss around the ends of the Spring Moss Twill that extended over the edge of the card. I love doing this type of detail work. Just a little something that adds a lot. In this closeup you can also see the scored lined I created with my Scor-Pal to add some texture to my Spring Moss cardstock.

This next project is bold and bright, perfect for a friend that has a personality with the same characteristics. Raspberry Fizz Mix patterned paper along with the new Black & White Basics papers are punched out in squares to create a nice color-blocking effect. Raspberry Fizz satin ribbon was wrapped around the edge of the card to create a partial border accent.

The bitty bee image is from our popular Honey Bees stamps set. I adhered rhinestones around the bee, forming a nice *ring of bling*. The rhinestones paired with the bee image created the perfect look I needed for the interior sentiment which reads “Happy Birthday to the Queen Bee”! The small flower that is attached with a brad can be found in the Velvet Flowers Fire collection we carry. I discovered that the bright pink blooms contained in it are are practically a perfect match for Raspberry Fizz. Pink & velvet, how can you resist?

As I mentioned before, Heather also integrated long border sentiments into Around & About Sentiments as well. They are super fun to use since they can be tucked in almost anywhere that you need just a little *something*. For this quick & easy project, I stamped the “happy everything” sentiment border four times, each repetition in a different color, creating a rainbow. I just ADORE rainbow color schemes lately. They are so happy and cheerful! The star border stamped below the rainbow strip is also included in this set! I stamped it in Fresh Snow ink and added small dabs of Stardust Stickles to the center of each star to add a bit of sparkle & shine.

The large star images are also included in Around & About Sentiments. I stamped them in three different colors that were utilized in my rainbow sentiment strip and cut them out with a craft knife. I used a xyron sticker maker to apply adhesive to the front side and dipped them in glitter to create sugar-coated accents. Raising them on small foam dimensionals really helps to draw attention to them.

This next and last project has a more earthy color scheme. I am love with the layout of this card and look forward to playing some more with it and alternating color schemes as well as images. The large “Thanks” sentiment was created with the NEW! Fresh Alphabet. I am loving the size of this alphabet. It is a nice medium size so it can be used for sentiments AND monograms. On this project, Heather’s thank you border is used as a focal point and background. Love that I can use it both ways to achieve a variety of looks just with one stamp!

For the button detail, I used a circle punch that was just a bit larger than my button to create a notch in my cream cardstock. I then stitched the button in place, tying the ends securely with a neat & tidy bow in the front.

Of course, I love them all, but the one most suited to my style would be the Thanks card. I really love the layering you used, and the overlap of the scallop trim. Beautiful cards! I love multipurpose stamp sets, especially circles, and this one looks like a keeper! I also like how it’s in a clean easy to read font but at the same time the set is so versatile it can be used to make colorful and funky cards as well as elegant and classy ones. I think I like the birthday stars the best – I love glitter and the card is colorful without being overdone, I try for simple elegance on the cards I make.

They are all beautiful. If I had to choose, it would be the Thank you card. I love the new alphabet font and the thank you border. Plus Ocean Tides and brown is one of my favorite color combos.

I love the idea of this set. I love how you can mix and match what image is in the middle with little effort. How exciting! They’ll fit right in with my latest craze of slipping the words in with them taking over. Can’t wait to get my hands on these little guys.
Happy Everything made me smile the minute I saw it! Love the simplicity and the vibrant colors. SO powerfull with a subtle message. Absolutely LOVE what I am seeing for this release!
Hard to pick just one but the earthy colored Thank You piqued my attention most. Love the notch around the button (must CASE)… the narrow scalloped strip… and I’m a sucker for anything polka dot! Must go check my circle punches to be sure I have the right sizes for this set.

This set is great! I think my style would follow along with more clean and simple – I like layers but I don’t like to *overdo* it! Thanks for another opportunity!
Love this set. I love circle word frames and prefer not to have to custom set my letters each time so I am going to love have a set of good, standard phrases. But I also love tiny word strings and the happy color combination in the third card, so while all four speak to my style (clean, graphic, like ALL your cards), I guess #3 speaks the most of these four samples (of course, I will probably draw inspiration from all of them – the large scallops, the raspberry/black combo, the tiny scallops, so much – thanks again for all the inspiration).
Oh my goodness, you just added another must have to my list. Wow! I am not sure which is my favorite. The earthy colors thanks card is my color style but I also love the popped up stars on the rainbow thanks card. You gals have done such a great job. This is the most excited I have been since the last reveal. Can’t wait to place my order this month that is for sure.
I love the THANKS card. I love ocean tides and I usually find myself reaching for the earthy colors more than others. I also love that layout and will be casing that in other colors. Thanks for the idea.

WOW! Love the set: the circle text, the matching straight text, and even some images (would you believe I don’t own a straight star stamp? How did I let that happen?). I especially liked this as a tutorial on how to use that small round image as a focal point on a whole card.
Wow, I love this set. It looks amazingly versatile. I would describe my style as classic and clean. I like really clean lines and very easy on the eyes. Not really into the shabby or distressed even though I enjoy looking at other’s creations with that style.

I would probably describe my stamping style as simple elegance, a ‘less is more’ concept that Nichole and her design team constantly demonstrate on their blogs. All your projects are lovely, but I like the card with the glittery stars the best.

My favorite of your projects today is the Happy Bee-day Card. I love the fact that it’s bold and bright yet at the same time feminine. It has enough details to hold the viewer’s interest for some time, but it doesn’t look cluttered or over-done.

As time evolves, I find my style becoming much more clean and simple then it started out and this set will (as you said) become a basic in my collection. I love the style of the Thank You card, I will be making some cards using this layout for sure. The Dark Chocolate and Ocean Tides go together wonderfully. The second and third projects for today best speak to my stamping style. I tend to gravitate towards cute, whimsical images. This set looks so versatile…I’m just sure I could put it to good use!
My favorite has to be the clover card. I sometimes forget how stunning dry embossing can be. I also love how the stamped focal point is so small, just a reminder that you don’t have to go overboard to make a beautiful card!

All the cards are my style but the first one stands out for me. Anything Papertrey does seems to be my style. Even a card with bright colors and bold designs,which I normally shy away from,comes across crisp and clean if PTI is involved.

The Happy Bee-day card was my favourite, and is the card I would like to make. Funky and bold and fresh – what I like to think I am!! But in actuality, I would make the star card – because I mostly make cards for boys, and stars are perfect for boys, and I find them easy to work with and applicable for so many situations. The stamp set you showed us today is so versatile and I think will become a basic set to grab for.

very nice stamp set. the first (yellow) card is my favorite, but the last (blue) one was a very close second. you make very nice cards!

Your last project is the one I like best, because of the colors, the texture of the polka dots and the layout. I love the versatility of this set and the fact that you can create a background out of it too. I think sometimes it is nice to have a sentiment very present in your design but without just slapping a sentiment at the bottom of your card under a main image….
I love the St. Patrick’s Day card. Not just because I am Irish. I like the clean style. I love using popped circle elements on my cards and can’t wait to get my hands on this set. Love that it works with all the other sets that I have.
All of your projects today are great but I think my favorite is the Thank You card. The layout is fabulous.

I love the thanks card with the cut out for the button and the bee card. They both “look” simple but upon closer inspection you see all the great details added that really make the recipient of the cards feel special. I like making cards that look effortless , where the details step it up an really add something special.

I would say my style is more simple, clean, and earthy since I use mostly earth tones and generally add just one or two embelishments. For this reason I really love your last thank you card. It is beautiful! I think this set would be perfect for me since it is so simple yet can be dressed up a lot if the occasion calls for it!

I normally would describe my style as soft, feminine, a little layered and hand colored. Out of your four cards today, though, the one that absolutely popped off the page for me was the Happy Everything. The red, the sentiment, the stars- wow! Must be all the snow outside my house- that card just screamed “CASE ME”. Thanks for the chance. The set would get a good home.

I don’t think I have a stamping style as much as a love of combining the right images and text for the person who will receive the card or gift. I love text, and tend to use it all over my projects. I will definitely buy this set! I am so glad someone has read my mind and designed a set with both text circles and borders.
My stamping style is clean and simple. I usually like only one stamped element in my cards – the rest being cardstock, patterned paper, embellishments, etc… But this set is such a great basic to have on hand to add an additional element. I appreciate seeing how the tiny stamps from other sets work with the circle stamps.
I love working with black so the most me card would be the Raspberry Fizz card.

My favorite by far was the thank you card. I love clean lines of the font. I like the simple, but elegant look. That is probably my favorite style of cards…and I try to emulate that style (but usually just copy one of the cards I like on blogs and add, subtract or change colors).

This looks to be be a must have set. I love round sentiments. But to know that it also includes straight ones too, makes it more appealing. My favorite card of the three is the last card.

My stamping style is simple, small, sweet and pretty. I can see myself using these sentiments all the time! In fact, I have all of Heather’s sets, because they fit my style perfectly. My favorite card today is probably the St. Pat’s clover because I love the Swiss dots and the scalloped border, but I loved them all – I really hope I can win the stamp set!

My favorite of the four cards would be the thank you. I am loving the ocean tides with the brown. I also like that it could easily be a card I could send to a man. I hope I win this set so I can use the money I will save to purchase more stuff at Papertrey. Gail

I am in love with the Thank You card…another classy and classic layout! I have jars and jars of old buttons in my craft corner (tucked away in the basement!) that I absolutely raided after seeing this card. The St. Patrick’s Day card has so many elements that I love – polka dots, embossing, scalloped edging, and ribbon/twill!

All the cards were fantastic. I don’t think I have any real style. The Thank you card probably might be sort of like me – colors – yes! I am trying adding buttons too more. But, since my birthday is St. Patrick’s Day – I am drawn to the shamrock! Yet I am attracted to the black/white and red one. I love using round sentiments with something in the center so I am looking forward to seeing more of this set. So well-rounded – sorry, couldn’t help it!!!!!
