December Honorable Mentions

As many of you may or may not know, we have been having several technical issues with the Papertrey gallery. There have been a lot of bugs in the system lately affecting the
gallery that we have not yet been able to identify. I myself had a lot of difficulty getting in long enough to make any headway on judging the December submissions for our Guest Star Stamper contest. Please know that we are actively trying to pinpoint a
solution and we hope to have everything running smoothly again as soon
as possible.

I have finally been able to peruse the entire December gallery and decided upon the winners of our monthly contest!  I have highlighted their projects below along with a few other favorites which have been deemed honorable mention status.  I hope you enjoy perusing all of the amazing projects and gain a little inspiration for your own stamping today!

Be sure to click on the artist’s name to be linked back to the gallery and the full-version of their project!  Happy browsing!

Ashley Newell
made this fantastic frame by using the border element from Men of
Life
.  I loved the unconventional layout of her project along with the
color scheme.  I can totally see myself giving something like this to
my own husband!

Jen_caputo
Jen Caputo used both the Men of Life stamp set & patterned papers to create this fantastic & clever gift card holder.  The little touch of raffia that she added is such a nice accent for a masculine card.

Maile_belles
Maile Belles used Men of Life & Background Basics: Stars when creating this simply stamped project.  I loved the way she integrated the sentiment onto a flag shaped strip of cardstock as her accent.  I think that ties into the theme really nicely!

Alicia_weiman
Alicia Weiman got out our popular previously released set, Pond Life, to create her take on a masculine card.  I loved the embossed lines she added to accent her project along with the sponging techniques she used to help ground the cattail images.
