I just couldn't resist going in a whole other direction with the same stamp set as above to show you a completely different perspective. And to also demonstrate how the styles of projects created with it can vary widely.
…………………………………………………………………………………………….. My color scheme for this project was Ocean Tides, Dark Chocolate & Vintage Cream. Wowzers! Just so in love with this combo! I used the Houndstooth Cuttlebug embossing folder. I think that texture was perfectly suited to be used on a card for Grandpa! A detail I wanted to point out with this card is that I had fun mixing two different patterns of sails. Adding those kinds of combinations into the mix, you have dozens of new possibilities with just this one set!
…………………………………………………………………………………………….. I pulled out the golden oldie, Borders & Corners Squares, to create a fun mat for this project. The stitched square border from this set coordinates with a 1-3/8 inch square punch. I stamped the images in Dark Chocolate ink onto kraft cardstock and punched them out. I then sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress ink. The four squares were assembled on a larger kraft block. I was really happy with the slightly vintage/rustic look I achieved.
…………………………………………………………………………………………….. Instead of knotting the ribbon, I pulled it to the side and tied the ends together with twine & a chocolate button. Is that vintage cream grosgrain I spy? *wink*
…………………………………………………………………………………………….. I thought this snack mix recipe I stumbled upon would the perfect little thing to whip up to be included in a gift set. The small window kraft coffee bags are the perfect size for a hefty individual serving. The nuts & popcorn tend to be a bit greasy, so the wax lining of our bags really come in handy. Notice another bitty boat 3D tag? Throw in a different color scheme and it takes on a whole new look!

Wow what an opening to the week! Love the houndstooth look on the grandpa card, it really opens the door for male adult cards within this set. The papers are divine too.

That little sailboat is too cute! I can’t wait for someone I know to have a baby boy just so I can make that tag for a gift. ๐
absolutely adorable. I am SUCH a fan of the sailor theme for baby boys. My mom used to dress my 3 siblings and me in nautical outfits for Easter every year! (I actually like this until I was about 10!)
Fabulous! I’m really liking this set so far!
Hugs!
I lOVE the paper. I can’t wait to see the rest of the set. I think it will be another huge hit.
If you only knew how much will power it takes to keep from ordering every week from Papertrey!!! Your products are great and so much fun to use, especially the sentiment stamps. Can’t wait to see the entire release; I can already tell that there’s more to enjoy in my craft room. My favorite paper color is Pure Poppy; can’t resist using it on cards for every occasion, so the nephew card is another inspiration; thanks for the ideas.
I’m thinking Ladies’ Sailing Club Luncheon favors! Been looking for ideas to give as favors, and these will be perfect. The papers will make a nice card set, gotta have them!
Great card! Love the versatility of this set.
What amazing projects!! The stamp set looks divine! Can’t wait to see more projects made using it.
Nicole, you are so clever, I am always looking for inspiration for more masculine cards. This set is a keeper. Can’t wait until the 15th.
I am so happy to see a set for all the men. So now we can make cards for Mom/Dad with the same font. I needed that, thanks. Can’t wait to see more on that light blue paper. Now with retirement I have cut my stamping budget way back but all I do spend I save for Papertrey. I always get the best, thanks.
I love the clean, classy lines that you have shown us so far. I am excited to have more options for masculine cards, I am often at a loss for good images. Thanks!
Rebecca
