Claire Brennan (waltzing mouse)- Best Use of Quilter’s Sampler
I loved this amazing card that Claire created. It showcases a miniature quilt stitched from real fabric, with the squares stamped using the Quilter’s Sampler stamp set.  The overall design of the project is fabulous as well!!!

Michele Hetland (Derbylea)- Best Use of Wise Owl
WHO wouldn’t love these owl votive holders?  I love the scalloped edges, the color scheme, just everything.  I can think of at least three teenage girls that would just die to have something like these to display in their bedroom!

Natasha (tashers)- Best Use of Set Released Before June 2008
This card jumped out at me IMMEDIATELY.  The color scheme is so fresh & modern.  The stamping is so simple & crisp.  I could think of at least 101 different ways to utilize this card design in my own stamping ventures!

There are always SO many great entires, I can’t help but mention a few of my other personal favorites.  You can click on the artist’s name to see their project in it’s entirety!  Happy browsing!

Best Use of Quilter’s Sampler

Emily_giovanni
Emily Giovanni paired a striking color scheme with clean design when utilizing Quilter’s Sampler for her entry.  The colors are soft, yet striking, which is perfect for many card occasions.  Her use of the quilt squares and their positioning within faux stitching borders was fabulous too!

Julie_masse
Julie Masse created this amazing frame for a friend of hers.  With patterned paper reminiscent of worn fabric stitched together as the background, the sentiment stands out as something special.  Love those stitched buttons and lace!

Janette_olen
Janette Olen made an entire gift set for her grandmother using this set, complete with a book mark & chocolates.  So many amazing details to check out and inspire!

Best Use of Wise Owl

Jennifer_holmes
Jennifer Holmes put together the CUTEST "Owl Be Back…To School!" ensemble (you have GOT to see this!) The set includes a notebook, post-it note holder, bookplate labels in a tin and colored pencils.  Absolutely adorable!

Terri_moore
Terri Moore  made the most stylish tote using some funky retro fabrics paired with the Wise Owl himself.  She stamped some coordinating accent frames in pink around each owl image to help carry through her color scheme.  Such a fun project!

Kirsten_dubosque
Kirsten DuBosque used fun patterned paper blocks to accent the color combination for her project.  A really fun look that could be executed with so many different patterns & images.

Best Use of Set Released Before June 2008

Julieann_wells
Julie-Ann Wells excelled with her composition using Guide Lines.  I fell in love with not only her color scheme, but also the design element she created to encapsulate her sentiment.  Just perfect in every way!

Angela_knopf
Angela Knopf used Honey Bees in a wonderfully simple approach that really caught my eye.  With just a few carefully stamped accents and some gorgeous black satin ribbon, she was able to pull off an amazing card in just a few simple steps.

Tina_fussell
Tina Fussell made this amazing little gift set!  You just HAVE to see the entire ensemble.  A cute little gift box with matching notecards and lined envelopes!  Sometimes I forget all about this little pea pod from Green Thumb and how well it works for bay cards!!!

Verna
Verna created this gorgeous necklace by creating beads from vellum that had been stamped with bits & pieces from Faux Ribbon.  I had made paper beads before, but had never thought of using vellum.  The end result is something that looks like transparent glass!  Can’t wait to experiment with this concept!

Wendy_beck
Wendy Beck used a variety of older sets to build the perfect tree for a Teacher Appreciation project.  I love the combination of the apples from Limitless Labels and the tree from Father Knows Best.  Such a fantastic execution!

Kimberly_crawford
Kimberly Crawford created the most amazing patterned paper using Guide Lines.  I also loved the clean simple card design she came up with, complete with score line accents!

……………………………………………………………………………………….
Maile_belles
Maile Belles used one of my favorite images from Green Thumb to create an adorable strawberry birthday card.  A simple, white, one layer card is exactly what you can use when you have a summer party to rush of to and need something to accompany your gift at the last minute!  So sweet!

Maria_fiscella
Maria Fiscella used the new Text Boxed paper from the Chocolate Remix Collection.  I love how she inserted the polka dot center from Paper Tray in the flower images from Text Boxed.  Such a great combination.

Alicia_weiman
Alicia Weiman came up with the clever idea to turn one of our clear boxes into a display frame.  I loved the use of Out on a Limb paired with the Believe sentiment.  The rustic look of everything really brought the project together.

Mary_kloeckener
Mary Kloeckener used this beautifully soft color scheme to create her Green Thumb project.  The yellows and pinks together are just so cheerful!  Perfect for bringing a little sunshine into somebody’s life!
