Adoption is something that happens around the world more often than ever and is an event that definitely needs to be celebrated! When a friend and I were talking about this very subject not too long ago she brought up the fact that she always had a hard time making cards for the occasion due to a lack of supplies that complimented the event. When I designed Bitty Baby Blessings I knew there had to be a sentiment suitable for this type of event!
This is a quick little card I put together using the adoption sentiment along with the coordinating patterned papers. (Please be sure to click to enlarge to see all the details clearly!) I love the Baby Menagerie paper and what it adds to a project. It can be cut into strips and used in so many ways to accent a project. The Twinkle Twinkle Bitty Star paper at the top of the card was accented with a tiny dab of stickles in the center of each star.
An added detail to note, I covered the back of the small acetate star with Star Dust Stickles and allowed it to be my adhesive to stick the star in place on the sentiment block. The stickles also added a pretty shimmery effect to the star too!

I am loving the Bitty Blessing patterned paper-and not just for baby things! And the Lavendar Moon color is AWESOME!! I can’t wait to see all the products at the release party!
FINALLY! A baby paper line that is neither boy nor girl! I have been searching HIGH and LOW for paper that is gender neutral! There are still a few of us out there that DON’T find out the sex of our babies! ๐ Thanks Nichole!!
What a pretty card! Love that you have an adoption sentiment as well.
I’m so excited about this set and the matching color/patterned paper. I can’t wait to order.
Thank you Nichole for including the adoption sentiment in your newest set. I am an adoptive mom and have always had a difficult time creating cards and gifts for my adoptive friends, as there aren’t many resources in the papercrafting industry who cater to us adoptive mommies. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Keep up the good work ๐
I am also an adoptive mom and I’m so glad you included that sentiment, they are very hard to find!
That card is ADORABLE and the sentiments sound like they will be useful for EVERYONE! I’m so glad I got the opportunity to share my story abt being adopted in the contest this past week. It is a miracle in itself and I thank you for honoring it in your set. Can’t wait for the party!!!
Fantastic card and how thoughtful to include the adoption sentiment. I have a very dear friend who is in the adoptive process. How wonderful that I can create a perfect card to share in their joy!
Well – I can see there will be more stamps, paper and ribbons purchased from PTI this month – the adoption card is just so pretty! the layers of paper and clear stars – with the dabs of stickles – just lovely!
Fantastic!
But I am the only one I know who has adopted, so maybe I should purchase the set and send it to friends and family to make ME cards! *grin*
I am also an adoptive mom and SO appreciate you including an adoption sentiment. I love the card:}
