I had so much fun looking at everyone’s take on the challenge I issued the day before yesterday! It is really fun to see how stampers can take the same concept and each do something completely different with it! I actually had a little stamping time so I decided to play around a little more with the layering possibilities included in Garden of Life. I ended up starting with a base of Sweet Blush and adding the daisy shadow stamp in the Berry Sorbet ink. I followed up with the outline daisy image using white ink. I just loved the way the images layered. I think the paper almost looks store bought!
The sentiment is one of my personal favorites from Out on a Limb. I created the flower with an old punch that I had, Berry Sorbet cardstock & Polka Dot Basics. I am sending this card to a very old high school friend of mine. Do you have someone in your life that you haven’t spoken with in a long time? Take a few minutes today and let them know how special they are! Sit down and make a new card or use one from your stash! It only takes a minute to address an envelope and add a stamp! I love the idea of surprising someone with a beautiful handmade, heartfelt card. I have been trying to make a real effort to send more "just because" greetings and not wait for the predictable special occasions!

Love this card! Don’t have the set yet but will be buying it in the near future – so versatile. Really like the embellishment and paper as well.
I have not had time to play with the challenge yet this week. But I have taken time to address some envies the past month to old friends ones I usually just send a Christmas Card to, it gives you a wonderful feeling in your heart.
Nichole, so fresh and cheerful your card is. It will truly delight the recipient’s heart! Those flowers look like they could jump from the paper. The Garden of Life is such a beautiful set. Love those flowers.
I was sent here through Kathi’s Corner and I just wanted to tell you that you make the most beautiful cards. I will be stopping by here often to see what you’ve created. Thanks for sharing your talent.
This is even better than the first layered card. Wow… love the crisp beauty of it.

Fantastic card! Love how the white outline makes the flowers pop!
gorgeous 🙂
That paper could totally have been store bought. Even better than store bought actually. It’s beautiful. All of your beautiful creations have really inspired me lately to think outside the box a bit. I see a piece of patterned papper or a stamp set and thoughts keep jumping in my head these days. Thanks for being such a creative inspiration!
Love the patterned paper you created, Nichole! Very pretty card!
Nichole,
Thanks so much for your inspiration. This card is just lovely and so easy to make. I
don’t have this set yet but I can see myself using the Beautiful Bloom and doing something similar.

Such yummy colors, Nicole. Love this!
(I could resist no longer. I just ordered every card stock and patterned paper you have in every color! Inks and ribbons, too! lol)
Nicole,
Everything you do looks “store bought”!!! I love your elegant style.
