Many of you are still waiting patiently for your orders placed on the 15th. We were not prepared for the HUGE response to the tins & flowers we have begun carrying. They sold out so quickly at midnight that we were unable to get the backorder button up quick enough for these particular items. For those of you still waiting for your order, this is probably the category that you fall into, and we as a company apologize for the situation. Our HUGE re-order of tins arrived yesterday (Tuesday) and we are working hard to pack up any remaining orders. Any order that was delayed because of the backordered tins will be shipped out by Friday at the very latest. Flowers unfortunately are a different story. The manufacturer of the translucent & white plastic flowers along with the velvet flowers was slow to ship out our re-order. We are expecting them to arrive at the end of this week, possibly next week. Orders containing the backordered flowers will ship as soon as we receive them. I will keep you updated as to when they arrive.
So with all those technicalities being shared with you, we want to also apologize for the lack of shipping notifications. We had assumed they were being sent out automatically with our current shipping system and were just recently made aware that this was not the case. I know I personally as a customer like to know what the status is of my order, and I know you do to. We apologize for this glitch in the system and we are doing everything in our power to insure that you receive the best customer service possible in regards to this matter. We have just invested in an upgraded system which will help us to run our business more efficiently & effectively. This new system will not only send shipping notification, but will also allow you to have the ability to check your order status at any time. We hope to have this new system up and running in time for our next release on September 15th.
While I am writing I also wanted to share with you how thrilled we are with your enthusiasm for our new products each month, especially the stamps. It is so amazing to see so many people from around the world unite with a common thread, a love of stamping. It is because of all of YOUR support (and patience!) that we have grown by leaps and bounds. We have SO many exciting things planned for the coming months, and we know you will be so THRILLED to be part of it. We whole-heartedly appreciate each and every one of you and your love of our little company. It makes all of our hard work worthwhile when we receive your emails, letting us know how much you enjoy our products. Julie and I were just talking the other day about how we recognize names of customers who order regularly or have special requests when they order. It is as if we are building a family; a group of people that love to stamp!Thank-you for being part of the Papertrey "family"! We look forward to the opportunity to grow with all of you.
