Papertrey Shipping Update

By August 22, 2007General

Many of you are still waiting patiently for your orders placed on the 15th.  We were not prepared for the HUGE response to the tins & flowers we have begun carrying.  They sold out so quickly at midnight that we were unable to get the backorder button up quick enough for these particular items.  For those of you still waiting for your order, this is probably the category that you fall into, and we as a company apologize for the situation.  Our HUGE re-order of tins arrived yesterday (Tuesday) and we are working hard to pack up any remaining orders.  Any order that was delayed because of the backordered tins will be shipped out by Friday at the very latest.  Flowers unfortunately are a different story.  The manufacturer of the translucent & white plastic flowers along with the velvet flowers was slow to ship out our re-order.  We are expecting them to arrive at the end of this week, possibly next week.  Orders containing the backordered flowers will ship as soon as we receive them.  I will keep you updated as to when they arrive.

So with all those technicalities being shared with you, we want to also apologize for the lack of shipping notifications.  We had assumed they were being sent out automatically with our current shipping system and were just recently made aware that this was not the case.  I know I personally as a customer like to know what the status is of my order, and I know you do to.  We apologize for this glitch in the system and we are doing everything in our power to insure that you receive the best customer service possible in regards to this matter.  We have just invested in an upgraded system which will help us to run our business more efficiently & effectively.  This new system will not only send shipping notification, but will also allow you to have the ability to check your order status at any time.  We hope to have this new system up and running in time for our next release on September 15th.

While I am writing I also wanted to share with you how thrilled we are with your enthusiasm for our new products each month, especially the stamps.  It is so amazing to see so many people from around the world unite with a common thread, a love of stamping.  It is because of all of YOUR support (and patience!) that we have grown by leaps and bounds.  We have SO many exciting things planned for the coming months, and we know you will be so THRILLED to be part of it.  We whole-heartedly appreciate each and every one of you and your love of our little company.  It makes all of our hard work worthwhile when we receive your emails, letting us know how much you enjoy our products.  Julie and I were just talking the other day about how we recognize names of customers who order regularly or have special requests when they order.  It is as if we are building a family; a group of people that love to stamp!Thank-you for being part of the Papertrey "family"!  We look forward to the opportunity to grow with all of you.

Thanks for the update! Actually, it’s a good problem to have! I am anxiously awaiting my order (this is my first PTI order — don’t know why I waited so long)! I’ve seen so many terrific samples, and I can’t wait to get started! 🙂

No problem. This Canadian is used to waiting for orders and Papertrey is SO worth the wait. I am one of those waiting for the velvet flowers and translucent flowers to complete my order for shipping and I don’t mind at all how long it takes.
I am so excited waiting for the September release also. If you keep creating amazing products I will keep coming back for more!
Take care and Happy Belated Birthday.

Guilty! I only sent an email today about my ‘order status’ as this is my first order with you, not because I don’t like your products (slap my wrist for saying that) but because I have only just found you! As I live in the UK, I didn’t know if the order status would appear as I thought it might be for US orders only. Please ignore my email as you have clearly answered my question. I shall just get a big surprise when the postman delivers my order.

Bless your heart, isn’t it frustrating when things don’t go as planned??!! I hope all your customers that are waiting will be patient, and understanding…after all, it’s so hard to keep up with our demand!!! and when you are getting products from another vendor, you have no control over when they ship to you!!!
Thanks for a thorough update, I was waiting to order some B.O. products, but I’ll wait a bit longer until you have caught up! Keep smiling, and know that was LOVE PaperTrey, and will continue to LOVE it no matter what! 🙂

You guys have really started something great with this new company! I can’t remember the last time I was so excited to order new product that I actually stayed up late to do it! I hope you guys are around a long time! I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered so far and can’t wait to see what you guys come up with next!

Just wanted to say I had sent an email about my order from last week because I was unable to check the status. I got a response about 10 minutes later. I was suprised to get one so quickly, but really appreciate it. Just shows you what a great company PTI is! 🙂 I can’t wait to get my new spooky sweets set! I went to Memories In Bloom on Saturday and loved getting to see all of your creations in person! Any chance you could sell some of the tins or bags there? Just wondered! Have a great day!

Hi Nichole, I was reading on Ellen’s blog about the Nestability Dies actually coming to the U.S. later than anticipated, with an arrival of September 1st. What type of estimation is PaperTrey looking at for arriving at the company and then being shipped out to us impatient ones?? 🙂

I received my Papertrey Ink order yesterday. It only took four or five days. Love my stamps and scalloped circle punch. Great, quick service. I appreciate companies that communicate with their customers even when this customer was unaffected by delays.
    I am anticipating new items.

    Thank you,

I got my Spooky Sweets and It’s great!
I really love the pumpkin you designed, but I wish it had it in different sizes the way you do many of your other images.
Please (Pretty please..) consider doing an “expansion set” or a mini set of your pumpkins in staggered sizes.

Hi–Well, here I am back and waiting to order your Holiday sets–all four! Your stamps are so nice-they are so well thought out and easy to incorporate into so many projects. Just love them. And I love how you tie them in to some of the more popular scrapping accessories–Nestabilities, Cuttlebug dies, etc. Makes them even more fun to use. Thank you.
