Tonight is the night! The Papertrey Ink website will be updated TONIGHT (midnight EST) with all FIVE of these new stamp sets along with the Making Memories Tag Maker and rims. The two make wonderful companions to each other and I hope you will enjoy using both in all of your fun paper crafting projects! We will also be announcing the Guest Star Stamper!
Anyone who knows me, associates my name with a simple style. And nothing could be so true! Especially when I am creating something for my own personal use, SIMPLE is just my cup of tea. So, with that being said, I would like to show you two quick & easy (a.k.a. SIMPLE) types of projects that all FIVE new stamp sets lend themselves to.
First is MONOGRAMS! They are hot right now, in every design industry. Home decor, fashion and of course paper crafting. The borders in these five sets are perfect for turing any alphabet set you have in your stash into a fabulous monogram collection!
You can make a little monogram, using the extra jumbo scalloped punch and coordinating border stamp.
Or you can make a BIG monogram, using the mega scalloped punch and border. Think of all the fun colors you could make these in for gifts. OR make cute monogram tags for gift bags. How cute to use these on wedding favors or invitations? You could even skip the punch, and stamp on something fun like the front of a purse or create personalized hand towels for the bathroom!
One other type of image that I have not yet revealed to you are the perfect-fit reverse sentiment stamps! There is one in each stamp set, so five total. They are perfectly proportioned to fit within the extra jumbo scalloped punches.
How many people have a huge stash of patternd paper, keep buying more, but hardly ever use it? (insert me standing on a chair waving wildly at how this description could only possibly be for me!) I think one of the reasons this is so true for many people is that i can be difficult to DO something with it and allow the pattern to remain the center of attention.
These reverse image stamps are the PERFECT solution for the whole patterned paper issue. Here’s all you have to do. Pull that piece of floral paper you’ve had for years & cut it up. Pull one color from the paper that you would like to use as an accent and get out the ink to match. Stamp your reverse images on white cardstock & punch! Throw in a little ribbon and maybe a brad and viola, cards for every occassion! Talk about easy!
