I recieved the most wonderful email from little 8 year-old Faith Montgomery a few weeks ago. She thought that there ought to be a water droplet stamp in the Green Thumb collection so she could make the watering can "water". I challenged her to get creative and see what she could come up with. To my surprise, I got the most BEAUTIFUL card emailed to me today along with a very clever solution to her quandary. She used the small leaf stamp and colored in the "vein" with a marker to change the image into a water droplet. I was so impressed at both her talent and creativity, I promised I would display her artwork on my blog. Way to go, Faith! I’m so proud of you!

Wow ladies, your comments have really blessed my little girl! I’ll be printing them for her to keep for encouragement. She picked all the colors and the layout design. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, so she has been stamping for a little while. I love watching young children work with art supplies, as they see things with fresh eyes (ie: making the sun and the rays, and the water droplets!) I did teach her how to mask on this card, as she’s never done that before. She’s so excited about this post and the comments that she said that she wants to make a whole set of cards using all of Papertrey’s sets (lucky for her I own all of them 🙂
Thank-you for all the love~ Faith’s blessed Mom, Kellie
