I just noticed that I have used green in almost every creation included in this countdown! But you know what, that is okay! Why you ask? Because it compliments the name of this stamp set perfectly, which happens to be "Green Thumb"! Today’s project is a quick and easy card. I just stamped my own patterned paper with a retro dot from Green Thumb and the sunburst stamp from Butterfly Kisses. The grasshopper and sentiment go together perfectly. Look real closely and you will see that it reads "hoppy birthday" for a fun play on words. For ink I used Old Olive & True Thyme classic (dye) inks from Stampin’ Up! Tomorrow will be the final day of the countdown! The big day is almost here!
I have been waiting all day to see this! I love it, too. Looking forward to the 1st!
What a great card! I love the background you created. I love to do that too when I scrapbook. I can’t wait for the big reveal. Thanks Nicole!

Yay, a bug! I was so hoping for a bug! Thanks Nicole!
Cute!!! I would have never known that your background wasn’t pattern paper. Love the sentiment.
that grasshopper is too cute! and the strawberries are adorable.
Your bg does look like pattern paper. Another cute card and a very versatile set!!
Very cute…and if you look at the retro dot another way…it could be an olive. Just add a little red dot! Very charming!
Another wonderfully fun card. Can’t wait to order this set. Ida
Nicole, this is cute..and I’m thinking that one stamp you’ve used for this card today, from your new set, would also make a great ‘olive’ for a martini card….don’t you think! I’ll be on-line midnight the 1st to place my order! Hugs, Barb g
Another terrific creation…I am so going to be on your site at midnight on the first!
Oh, this is soooo cute and a gardening/nature theme, what a brilliant idea.
Also, with all of your ideas, you are giving me ideas for me existing sets, so you are really getting my creative juices flowing, thank you! 🙂
Wow! Great job! I love the simplicity of this card!
You’re killing me!!!! So cute, I love your background and the little cricket is great! Can’t wait to see this set in it’s entirety. Be checking back tomorrow for sure!
CAN’T WAIT!!!! I love what you did with the paper…at first I thought they were olives, lol, perhaps it was because I was eating olives with my sandwhich, LOL.Hmmmm, that gives me a great idea – it would be great to use with martini stamps unless it looks different IRL. TFS and ALL the anticipation.
Wow! I thought that the background was paper, not stamped. It looks great, LOVE IT!
I just purchased the new set! You are a creative genius! I love how many options there are for this set!
beautiful!!
