This morning I felt the urge to dig out my old neglected friend, polyshrink. Ages ago I came up with a template to make my own slide mounts from polyshrink. The words in this stamp set are the perfect accent to my homemade frame. This particular sentiment makes a great baby card! I created the slide with clear polyshrink, so I was able to adhere patterned paper to the back. I had forgotten how many possibilities there are with this stuff! For your enjoyment, I have created a pdf file (below) for you to download and make your own slide mounts! Have fun!

Polyshrink is one of those mediums I just love, but again you used it in a different way as a slide mount and backed it with paper – genius!

Wow!I never thought to do that! Thanks for sharing
I have never used polyshrink, just another item that now is on my “must have” list!
Thanks for the Polyshrink slider pdf (template). I was on a polyshrink kick not too long ago. I will have to pull it out again and be creative. Thanks for the inspiration.
You’re a lifesaver! I’m doing a swap and desperately needed this template!
Love the idea of using shrink plastic!!!
Love all the samples! Dumb question, how do you register for the prize? I thought I was feeling lucky but couldn’t exactly see a place for the contest. I did sign up for updates. Looking forward to many happy times looking at all the projects – that in itself is a pretty good prize.
This is beautiful. Even though its pink, it still looks neutral – could be used for a boy or a girl.
I’m wondering if the pink flowers are patterned paper, or a stamp? Love the slide mounts!
Susan
Oh my goodness!!! Brilliant! My own custom made polyshrink slide mounts! Thank you thank you thank you for this idea! Did you stamp the sentiment on the polyshrink before shrinking it? Or is it stamped on the paper?
Thanks for this idea and the template!
Love it. Is polyshrink the same thing as Shrinkydinks? Is it only available online or can you get it at a Hobby Lobby or Michaels?
This is adorable. May I ask how do you attach the background paper to the frame without it showing through? Thank you for all of the great ideas.
