preparing for CHA

By January 24, 2007The Industry

I am in the midst of preparing for my big trip out to California for CHA Winter.  I’m looking forward to spending quality time with my fellow PC Pros, reuniting with other friends in the industry and of course getting to see all the new product!  I was just reviewing the list of vendors (there are approx. 900) attempting to map out a route for myself each day I am there.  There are a few booths that are at the top of my list that I CANNOT miss:

Luxe Designs  They are revealing little sneak peeks at each of their new lines, one each day until CHA begins.  I love the looks of Classic Black & Sarong.

McGill
I love all of their new punches and have to get my hands on some!  These are so versatile, I know I would utilize them all the time.  After all, a girl can never have too many punches!

Queen & Co
They have the coolest new felt embellishment strips I have ever seen.  I can hardly wait to see exactly what they are like in person!  These would have so many uses!  Be sure and check out their blog.  You can register to be one of the first to  get your hands on some of this!  Eight winners in all!

Crate Paper  There is a little bitty sneak peak on the front page of their website.  I love the colors and I am dying to see the whole collection!

FontWerks Kah-mei provided a little sneak peek on her blog.  Can’t wait to see what they have in store.  They have the most trendy product, always pushing the envelope

Imagination Project has published a few projects featuring their yet-to-be-released new collections.  They have such fun stuff.  I’ve really enjoyed using their Gin-X  Coasters in the past.  Can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeves in that department!

K I Memories has released stamps!  According to their website they were released last month, but their ad in the new CK Top 10 issue is the first I had heard.  They are so darn cute too!

Basic_grey
Basic Grey has a new line called "perhaps" that looks REALLY fun.  Their look is so unique. Can’t wait to see what that’s all about.

Did I also mention that I get the opportunity to see Martha Stewart?  She is the keynote speaker and is hosting a Cocktail Reception and Speech on Sunday night Cath Edvalson & I will be attending together and I am so stinkin’ excited!  I am a huge fan of both her entrepreneurial spirit and eye for design & style.

I fly out Sunday and won’t return until Wednesday, the 31st.  I’ll be sure to fill you in on all my favorite product picks when I get back!
