Hi everyone, we’re so glad you’re here!
We are very excited to introduce Project: Reach Out. Below, you can find details about this great new feature.
ABOUT PROJECT: REACH OUT:
Due to the Coronavirus, many of us are separated from our family and friends which in some cases has caused feelings of loneliness, boredom, depression, and maybe a bit of frustration being stuck at home! This is the perfect time to reach out and touch someone to let them know how important they are to you or to let someone in your community know how much you appreciate all of their hard work. With that in mind, Project: Reach Out was created.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Each week a member of the design team has identified a theme as a challenge for you to create something based on the chosen theme. Once you have completed, please upload a photo of what you created via InLinkz and of course make sure you send it out. If you don’t have anywhere to send your project, send it to us, and we will make sure it gets to just the right person!
Kindness and appreciation go such a long way, sending a beautiful hand-made card is the perfect way to let someone know you are thinking of them. We hope you find enjoyment while participating in this new series of challenges. We are excited to see what you create and to also uplift our communities the best we know how…sharing our love of crafting.
Kelly Lunceford is here today to share some of her beautiful cards she is sending out.
“As I reflect on the types of cards I’m reaching for as I send them out to family and friends during this chaotic time, I’m choosing the ones with the feeling of cheer and happiness! Sunshine and rainbows are symbols of hope and are so fun to use in cardmaking! I’ve created 2 bright and colorful rainbow designs today to bring a smile to the recipient’s faces! I challenge each of you to create some cards with a rainbow/hug theme to send to the young, old and everyone in between! I know this time can feel scary for children and confusing for the elderly, but with some uplifting cards, you’re sure to brighten their day, week, or month!”

I loved this inspiration. And it inspired me to create and send cards to all my nieces and nephews. My kids are probably effected more than anyone in our family, with no playgrounds, friends, and birthday parties cancelled. This was the perfect theme. And I loved your straight up rainbow stripes which was so lovey that I tried it out on my card as well. Thanks so much for your wonderful cheery card!
