Hi Everyone! We are doing something a little different this week. We will be showcasing some cards by some of our guest designers. We are very excited to share with you what they have been working on! Next is Vicki Finger!
Hello there! My name is Vicki Finger and I live about an hour north of Dallas, Texas near Lake Texoma. We just moved back to Texas last year after an 8.5-year stint in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I started my blog, Twinkling Paper Studio, on July 31st of 2015 so I just celebrated my 4th anniversary of blogging. I have been paper crafting for 20+ years in the form of scrapbooking Creative Memories Style, but I love the more instant gratification of card-making. I discovered Papertrey in late 2015 and got onto the forum in the spring of that year. I fell in love with Papertrey products instantly and the love is still there! I’m a wife of 35+ years, a Mom to three girls, and Mimi to 12 grandkids and 2 Great-Grands. Life is good! My personal blogging style is more conversational although I try to include the technical details you need replicate what I make. I love to incorporate gold and bling wherever I can and I hope you’ll be inspired by my work.
To replicate the colors in Ink to Paper Cardstock, use Royal Velvet, Amethyst Allure, Winter Wisteria and Lilac Grace. When working with Gilding Flakes, it is helpful to use a ¼ inch wide flat brush to apply to my project. A quickie glue pen also works well so the adhesive is only where you want it. Gilding Flakes have a mind of their own and tend to fly everywhere, so open your container with caution.

Purples are my fave, thanks for sharing this lovely card.
Occasionally I have seen some of your work and have always been drawn to the purples and gold. So happy to see you here today! Have to check out your blog! Cards are beautiful!!!
Love the guest designer series and hope it will continue on a regular basis.
Absolutely stunning cards. I have never tried the gilding flakes. Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful! Congrats on being the GD!
I love the gold and purple, they go so well together! I expecially liked learning more about you. You look way to young to be a great -grandma! I love your cards from your blog. They are always beautiful, and admire your photographic skills and stagging of the cards.
Love the color combo! Beautiful!
