Welcome to Transformation Tuesday!
We all have cards that don’t necessarily turn out the way we had envisioned or a project that we designed to be feminine that could be made masculine with a few tweaks. The idea is to show a project transformed into something fresh and new.
Join Rebecca Luminarias today as she transforms baby gift packaging into a card design.
“I always love the idea of using ribbons, fabrics, and other fibers on projects. This original creation was a set of cotton gift bags, featuring ribbons and tags, but I decided that I could apply the same idea to a greeting card. I made some changes in color, tag style, and occasion, but still created a project full of colorful fibers!”
Supplies:
- INK: VersaMark WaterMark
- PAPER: Limeade Ice & White cardstock, Berry Sorbet Bitty Big, vellum
- DIES: You Deserve Flowers, Scalloped Tags
- OTHER: Limeade Ice & Berry Sorbet Grosgrain Ribbon, New Leaf Satin Ribbon, Dots Stencil Collection, white embossing powder, glitter paper, yarn, tulle, Fabri-Tac adhesive
Still in love with those gorgeous muslin bags and then you add a bright, sunny card full of textures and color and it’s love all over again. Every project you create Rebecca, is just so much fun!
