Michelle has always astounded us with her incredible patterned paper pairings, but on this card she’s managed to incorporate two different textured patterns instead. Stripes tend to love dots anyway, but to make extra sure that there wouldn’t be a clash she kept both patterns the same, crisp white. That keeps her design from being too busy and really lets the sentiment take center stage.

Michelle combined several of the small balloon die cuts from the Dream, Fly, Soar! set to create a focal point for this card. Using multiples together is a great way to let those small images take the lead. She has also incorporated so much texture here – from the twine to the scoring and die cut frame – that her project is loaded with interesting elements.

Love all the projects with the new Corner Adorner! And love the new Penned Elegance Alphabet! I usually don’t like trying to line up alphabets, but the up-and-down, loose nature of this one makes me think it might not be too hard.
I love the variety of pretty spring projects. The monogrammed cards and personalized projects are a great gift idea.
