We are excited to introduce you to the new Bitty Big line of basic patterned papers. We heard our customers loud and clear and you love to have the basics on hand, but you don't want to spend a lot of money to invest in all the colors. These collections will be offered in single color packages, with a few new colors being introduced each month. Each package will contain 3 patterns, stripes, dotes and gingham. The three patterns are printed double sided, with one side featuring a small version of the pattern and the other side featuring large scale. So you get two options for your designs with less sheets to invest in!

  • Each collection includes 24 sheets (8 sheets of each double-sided pattern).
  • Each sheet features the bitty version of the pattern on one side, and the reverse features the big version.
  • Printed on smooth 8-1/2" x 11" text weight paper.
  • The collections will be available in Aqua Mist, Sweet Blush and Prairie Grass on November 15th.

Now that we've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Wanda Guess is featuring This Just In + Sunburst stencils.

If you are anything like, you are always looking for a unique way to celebrate a birthday, and Dawn's This Just In is the perfect way to do that. I love the color scheme that Wanda decided to use here since it would be great for both masculine and feminine recipients. It is also a great card for young and old alike!

  • INK: Green Parakeet, Soft Stone, True Black
  • PAPER: Bitty Big: True Black, Simply Chartreuse, Stampers Select White, Kraft, True Black
  • DIES: This Just In, Seeing Stars
  • OTHER: Sunburst Stencils, Clear Rhinestones

I love how Wanda was able to give this a feminine twist, I can see it being a big hit with teen girls! The play on all of various stripes gives it a more modern feel.

  • STAMPS: This Just In
  • INK: Soft Stone, True Black, Vintage Jadeite, Pale Peony, Bright Buttercup
  • PAPER: Jadeite Patterned Paper, Stampers Select White
  • DIES: This Just In
  • OTHER: Sunburst Stencils

This Just In can even work for baby projects! Think announcements, shower invites, gender reveal parties, and so much more! The coordinating dies make it easy to layer the microphone on any frame or mat like Wands did here with the doily.

  • STAMPS: This Just In
  • INK: Soft Stone, True Black, Pale Peony
  • PAPER: Pink Patterned Paper, Stampers Select White
  • DIES: This Just In, Parisian Doily
  • OTHER: Polka Dot Ribbon Sweet Blush, Buttons, Pearls, Glassine Bag

Lizzie Jones is featuring Direct Messages.

A punch of color i sometimes all a project needs to feel pulled together and Lizzie's new sentiment set does just that. This reverse banner sentiment set offers a variety of sayings in a modern banner look that you can use in all sorts of ways, especially with the coordinating banner die. I love how she used it to create a backdrop for her floral in neutrals, but then added it as a grounding element in a bright color. It really makes the project and you could do the same thing with nearly any focal point.

  • STAMPS: Direct Messages, Gran’s Garden
  • INK: Summer Sunrise, Harvest Gold, Simply Chartreuse, Terra Cotta Tile, Canyon Clay, Fresh Snow
  • PAPER: Classic Kraft, Rustic White
  • DIES: Direct Messages Banner, Gran’s Garden
  • OTHER: Foam Tape

How fun is this? The ends of the banner "poke" out in a bright color scheme while the one banner with the sentiment showing is die-cut and popped up for dimension. The black border along the side is such a bold statement and helps to add balance to the overall project. Note how the twine helps lead your eye from the top of the card down to where the sentiments are located,

  • STAMPS: Direct Messages
  • INK: Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, Limeade Ice, Hawaiian Shores, True Black
  • PAPER: Smokey Shadow, White
  • DIES: Direct Messages Banner
  • OTHER: Colored Pencil, Foam Tape, White Crochet Thread, Make It Market Mini Kit: Sunshine & Rainbows (Sequins), Multi Matte Medium

Direct Messages can be less modern and more soft and pretty depending on what you pair it up with. Here Lizzie used leaves and the new Background Basics: Birch stamp to create a natural setting that brings a whole new feeling to the sentient set. The addition of the small strip of patterned paper at the bottom of the card helps to create balance, not to mention it is also a gorgeous finishing detail.

  • STAMPS: Direct Messages, Background Basics: Birch, Harvest Berries
  • INK: Fine Linen, Ripe Avocado, Olive Twist, Dark Chocolate
  • PAPER: Rustic White, Bitty Big: Prairie Grass
  • DIES: Direct Messages Banner
  • OTHER: Rustic Cream Button Twine, Foam Tape, Sewing Machine
