Hello everyone and welcome to this month's Traveler's Journal feature. Today I am sharing some ideas for incorporating the Monthly Moments collection into your journals. Monthly Moments is a collection that was designed to use for pocket scrapbooking. The stamps, dies, and papers are also great for traditional scrapbooking, card making, and of course are wonderful to use in your Traveler's Journal.
I am adding to the December journal that I shared with you last month. The first book is filled up and so I put together a second one. This time I used some of the new Traveler's Journal: December dies on the cover: the Pure Poppy "December" and the larger snowflake die cut. I stamped a few snowflakes from the Traveler's Journal: December stamp set in Fresh Snow ink as well.
I pulled out the Monthly Moments: Tabbed stamp set and coordinating dies to add the "celebrate" tab to the side of the cover. This tab accent is a great way to add a caption or even incorporate into a title on your journals or scrapbook pages.
This layout documents a weekend trip that our family took right before Christmas last year. And again, I am so happy to have these memories in a place where my family and friends can enjoy looking through them!
This page features a photo of my family playing bingo together. I titled the page with the Monthly Moments: Year Round Mini stamp set, using the "December" and "moments" words. Below the picture I added a few captions with phrases from the Monthly Moments: Mini Slide Frame stamp set. The tree embellishment is a larger version of the tree in the Traveler's Journal: December stamp set and is included in the Traveler's Journal: December die collection.
I added some journaling with my typewriter onto a journal card that I die cut with the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die. The border around the outside edge of the journal card is from the Monthly Moments: Travel Plans stamp set.
The journal card is in an actual pocket. I took a divided page protector and trimmed it so I had just 2 – 3" x 4" pockets. I added holes to the middle section between the pockets and added them right into the pages in my journal. Don't think you have to just stick to the paper included in the Traveler's Journal: Page Blanks set. You can be creative with the materials that you use!
Adding the clear pocket to the journal adds interest and makes the page more interactive with whoever is paging through it.
Flipping that pocket page over reveals another layout featuring more photos from the same weekend.
I added a photo to another journal card that is die cut out of Olive Twist cardstock with the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die. The polka dot "washi tape" strip is a piece of the Bitty Big: Pure Poppy patterned paper that I tore at each end. I added a few snowflake embellishments that are die cut from white cardstock using the Monthly Moments: December die.
Throughout the layouts that I am sharing today, you probably noticed some elements from the mini kit that I shared with you last month. I still have bits and pieces left and they were perfect to add to my journal pages. Here I used the tree patterned paper along the bottom of the page and the tab on the side of the page. I have everything stored together and that made it quick and easy to grab and incorporate into this project.
If you do a search for "Monthly Moments" in the Papertrey Ink store, you will find many great products that are perfect for adding to your Traveler's Journal. I hope you enjoyed seeing how I incorporated some of them into my journals that you found a little inspiration too.

I heard by way of a friend that you may be offering the 11% sale again and that you will have a new website. I tried to make a large purchase, using reward points for the anniversary set, but could not put the credit card information in. I tried for 3 hours. Just wondering if that is so and when it will take place. I could not find the blog she saw it on.
I do not participate with social media because my husband prefers that I do not.
Thank you for all your work. I love all the products I have purchased in the past year. I have not purchased during a sale before and was discouraged.. We are in bed by 10 p.m.

Dear Hope, we don’t have a final date for the new website launch, but we will make sure to announce it here on our blog as well as all of our other platforms. Even if you don’t participate in social media, I’m hopeful that one of your eagle-eyed friends will let you know. I’m sorry you were discouraged during the last release. Those website issues are exactly why we are relaunching with a fresh website that will operate much more smoothly. You can always use our help chat in the future if you are still having difficulty. I hope that helps!
