i love white christmas, and every time it plays i “see” the movie playing right along with it. one of my favorite holiday movies.
I would have to say white Christmas! There’s just something so “holiday” about that song. I love the smooth voice and soft sounds,
I like Jingle Bells, because my kids like to sing it with me 🙂
LOL…I guess I’m in agreement with the first 2 ladies with White Christmas…I’m always wishing for a White Christmas wherever I’m living…
I love The Holly and the Ivy. I well remember being taught it as a child, singing in the round, something I will never forget!
Since I was a child my favorite has been The Little Drummer Boy. I still love it and it always brings back some great memories.
I really love “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams. You can’t help but be in the spirit when you hear it :)!
Hands down “Jingle Bell Rock!” I danced to it in a routine in the 4th grade. It’s one of my most favorite memories.
Blue Christmas it reminds me of my Dad who died very young and always loved blue Christmas light
Have yourself a merry little Christmas- because it’s the first song that entered my head!
My very favorite song is an old English Christmas carol called “The Friendly Beasts”. It is a very special story about the animals that were in the stable with Jesus when he was born and what special “gift” each of them shared. When I was little, we had this song on a record and it is as special to me now as it was then.
O Holy Night is my favorite because it touches my heart.
“Silent Night” I just love the slow and calm rhythm of the song, helps me to slow down and focus on the reason for the season. 🙂
Jingle Bell Rock!
Ooops… I meant to say Jingle Bell Rock because it’s catchy and reminds me of good memories 🙂
So many memories with Christmas songs Away in the Manger . I can remember singing It all by myself without any help of older sisters and our vintage song books.
Thank you for an awesome release! I was really inspired by the GORGEOUS projects from the DT! My favorite Christmas song is “The Christmas Song” ….as a child, The Christmas Song was one of the many songs we listened to on our stereo as we opened gifts. It is a beautiful song however, I’m not sure why that song stuck with me through the years. Everytime I hear it now, it brings me back to my childhood Christmas’. 🙂
My favorite song is “We Need a Little Christmas”, because it’s so jolly and I love the “candles at the spinet” part lol.
Runner up is Good King Wensaslaus (spelling very questionable).
Silent Night invokes such warm memories…we have sung it during the candlelight portion of Christmas Eve services for as long as I can remember…as a child, with my children and hopefully someday with my grandchildren.
White Christmas, because I love the movie.
It is hard to choose. For non-religious, I love Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman, and Let It Snow. They are just fun songs. For religious, I love O Holy Night. The music is so beautiful and stirring.
Silent Night is my favorite because of the story behind the song and how God inspired the man to write it.
My favorite holiday song is “White Christmas,” because I just love the beautiful rich voice of Bing Crosby. It is also my favorite Christmas movie 🙂
I have many favorites, but I love The Carol of the Bells. It is a catchy tune and chorus.
My favorite Christmas song is You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch! I loved watching that show and singing along when I was a kid!
My favourite Christmas song is The Holy City. My sister and I still belt out the chorus of Jerusalem as it was our Dad’s version of teaching it to us as kids.
There’s just something beautiful about the lyrics
Oh, that’s a tough one… I have lots of favourites: O Holy Night, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, etc. but I guess my very favourite is What Child is This? because the tune was my dad’s favourite, & it makes me think if him.
I love all Christmas music. I tend to play it all year. My favorite is Silent Night. It tells the wonderful story of Christmas.
So so sooooo hard to choose just one song……but Joy to the World (which I think sums up Christmas perfectly). Oh and anything sung by Michael Buble!
Our Christmas Eve service always begins with Once in Royal David’s City—the first verse sung by a small group of kids without accompaniment, then the adult choir for two verses, and the final verses with the whole congregation. It gave me goose bumps the first year I heard it, and continues to do so many, many years later. Definitely my fave!
I love O Holy NIght. I see right along…not too well. And all my friends know how I feel about it.
My favorite song is “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams. I love that song it really sooths and puts you in the Christmas mood.
My favorite Christmas song is White Christmas – being a Northern girl nothing says Christmas than tons of snow!
I love White Christmas and snow lots of snow. Living in Wisconsin, Christmas isn’t Christmas with out snow.
This is another great release! Hard on my wallet! My favorite is Silent Night.
My favorite holiday song is called How Many Kings by Downhere. It is a song about how much the Lord has done for us and that is no other kind who would have done the same. Love it!
Driving home for Christmas. Because I drive to my parents every year for Christmas. And for me, Christmas is all about spending time with family. So that song brings warm and fuzzy feelings to me…
I love Elvis’s version of Blue Christmas. My father loves Elvis and this was always playing in our house around the holidays.
Silent Night is my favorite..it’s so calm and soothing!
Hard to pick a favorite! I find myself singing White Christmas and Joy to the World most around that time of year!
Oh Holy Night because it is so peaceful and tells why Christmas is so important for me. There are so many beautiful versions of the song.
Silent Night because it focuses on the reason for the season and brings back beautiful memories of candlelight services on Christmas Eve. My grandpa uses to hum along as the organist played the prelude and would sing with all his heart!
My favorite English Song “Santa Claus is coming to town” and my favorite German Song is “Morgen Kinder wird’s was geben”.
I love White Christmas, because I love the movie.
Bring the Torch Jeanette Isabella. If you don’t know why, just listen to Mannheim Steamroller’s version of it.
O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song. It tells the story of Jesus’s birthday beautifully.
My favorite holiday song is Silent Night. I always remember singing it at church with my family….that song still gives me goosebumps.
Oh, Holy Night! It is such an inspiring song. To think that Christ came as a Babe is truly divine!
My whole family loves ‘I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas’ – we sing it all year round and never tire of it!
So many to chose from but I love “Silent Night” because it always gives me the chills.
I love all Christmas music but “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams is my all time favorite!!
Joy to the World has been a favorite, since the days of carroling with my church as a child. The tune is so bright, and the lyrics bring such hope and encouragement!
Christ Our Exemplar is my favorite song… it’s not a holiday song, but it reminds me of what’s most important in life.
Silent Night. Singing it just brings me to tears when I think of the gift that was given that night.
Oh my gosh, how to decide? I adore the carols (especially those in a minor key, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Good King Wenceslas are favorites) and popular songs (White Christmas is my favorite holiday movie!) but I could listen to Carol of the Bells 85 times in a row and still be happy! I still wave my arms around as though I’m the conductor whenever I hear it, and have done since I was a little girl! I saw it performed in church on the handbells when I was young and have found it enchanting ever since!
That’s tough…I have lots, but one of them is What Child is This? My mom really likes it, so she found a very simplified version for me to learn when I was a beginning piano player. It was the first Christmas song I can remember learning. My husband plays the guitar and has a beautiful voice. This song is one of his favorites and he’s created a beautiful medley with it, so it continues to be a favorite of mine.
“Do You Hear What I Hear?”…..preferably by Choir of King’s College, Cambridge. I just think it is a beautiful carol.
“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” always gets me in a happy mood – even in the stresses of the season. It would be a super treat to win your December release.l
20 years ago, Mariah Carey released a CD of Christmas songs. They are all fantastic but her version of O Holy Night is beyond spectacular! I get goosebumps every time I hear it!
White Christmas! We love the movie and watch it several times throughout the holiday season. My boys know all the words to all the songs in the movie!
O Holy Night. it evokes both the grandeur and the simplicity of the season.
My favorite is Silent Noght. My mom used to sing it to me at bed time 🙂
Silent Night because it’s so peaceful.
My favourite Christmas song is Little Drummer Boy- especially Bob Seger’s version. Reminds me of my dad!
My favorite holiday song is O Tanbenbaum. The lyrics talk about the evergreen’s strength and durability, constancy and faithfulness. The song includes the words joy and hope, comfort and strength. The perfect holiday song!!
I love Let it Snow! It always reminds me of being a child and running outside Christmas Eve into the falling snow!
My favorite song is “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.” It’s one that takes me back to being with my Mom,Dad & family for the holidays, when they were still with us.
I love anything by Johnny Mathis. It reminds me of the LPs my mom used to play on the hi-fi 🙂
I have several depending on my mood. There’s “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” because it’s just such a great tune and that voice! There’s “The River,” particularly Robert Downey Jr’s take from Ally McBeal. I never thought of it as a Christmas song but it’s definitely a winter one and he’s not someone I’d peg as a singer but he actually has a beautiful voice. The last of the big 3 is probably “Carol of the Bells,” especially the “Midnight in Sarajevo” version from Transiberian Orchestra. SO powerful.
I just love Christmas music period!! So hard to choose just one favorite….to sing with the kiddos it would be Up on the Housetop….silver and gold….o holy night….jingle bell rock….SO MANY Favorites! Just like PTI! Great release!
Phoo. Meant to include this link to his version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KPITow4_-0
Someday at Christmas- it reminds me how fortunate we are and to look outside my backyard during the holiday season.
Away in a Manger – I remember singing that song every Christmas growing up and it reminds me of many good Christmas memories.
Peace on Earth/The Little Drummer Boy – David Bowie and Bing Crosby
inspiring and beautiful
My mom played a lot of the traditional instrumental Christmas music during the holidays growing up, but one album we had in the house that I liked because it was different was Elvis’s Christmas songs. I enjoyed listening to Blue Christmas done classic Elvis style.
Silent Night is calming.
I love all the old religious carols, like It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen, O Come All Ye Faithful, and O Little Town of Bethlehem. But my very favorite is Silent Night.
There’s no way I could even narrow my favorite to 10 songs! I love Christmas music and start listening to it as early as I can on Pandora. Puts me in the Holiday mood and warms my heart with memories of my childhood. This release was very inspiring! Can you bring back the “I want it all!” Button? ?
My favorite Holiday song is a Medley by John Denver & the Muppets (from their Christmas special many years ago)- Alfie the Christmas Tree/Carol for a Christmas Tree/etc. It’s a collection of short pieces that tell a beautiful story / song about a Christmas tree & his wish for the world. It’s very nature oriented which I love & is just a really, really sweet song. Touches my heart every time I hear it. If you’ve never heard it before, check it out for sure – and make sure to hear the full version; it’s about 4 1/2 mins with all the parts 🙂
I have several because I LOVE Christmas music. But one that has a special place in my heart is Santa Clause is Coming to Town. All my life my dad has sang that to my sister and me. Just typing this makes me hear him singing it and doing something funny. (he has a great singing voice btw)
Mary, did you know? It always makes me wonder.
My favourite is “White Christmas” because it’s something I dream of, but because I live in Australia, have never experienced. Besides, who can resist the voice of Bing Crosby?
My favorite Christmas song is Silent Night! It is very calming and we sing it every year at candle light service at church. My second favorite is Frosty the Snowman.
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas so many memories of the drive to my parents for Christmas, car laden with presents. And three small children singing at the tops of their voices
Holiday music just makes me happy so it is so hard to choose. If I had to pick one? I gues I’d go with Carol of the Bells.
Stevie Wonder’s “What Christmas Means to Me”- no matter what’s going on when tat song plays, my mind instantly gets back to feeling the joy, sparkle, and happy anticipation of Christmas. Plus it reminds me of Elf, which is my favorite Christmas movie.
My favorite is “What child is this”
My favorite Christmas song is “White Christmas” because I can remember as a child always wishing for snow on Christmas. Just like the ones I used to know….I love Christmas and all it brings.
Joy to the World! It is so festive and upbeat, the message is beautiful, and I remember singing it with all of my cousins on Christmas Eve.
Silent Night. It is filled with hope, promise and peace. Love to sing it especially on Christmas Eve in a full church!
my favorite Christmas song is “Skating” by Vince Guaraldi… it reminds me of a very, very special person every time I hear it, and whenever I miss him I listen to this song <3
Oh Holy Night. I always loved the way the choir sounded singing it. When I hear
it,it makes goosebumps pop up on my arma.
I love Silent Night. Everytime I hear it I am taken back to when our youth group would go caroling around our small town and then go caroling in several nursing homes. It brings back memories of advent times and church Christmas plays.
My favorite Christmas song is The Christmas Song, thanks for another great release and I can’t wait for the next make it market kit on October 1
“O Holy Night” is my favorite Christmas song. I never get tired of listening to it and singing along with the chorus.
Hands down it’s “O Come All Ye Faithful.” My mother, sister, and I would sing it in three part harmony, with mom doing an incredibly beautiful high tenor. Mom died long ago (way too young), but those memories of us girls around the piano still linger in my heart and mind. Every Christmas season I think of that special time with mom and Sue. And I like the song’s message as well.
I love O Holy Night because of the lyrics and the way it builds up to a crescendo. I also love I’ll Be Home For Christmas, but it always makes me cry (especially Josh Groban’s version) because my son is in the military and we haven’t spent Christmas with him since 2004.
Nat King Cole singing “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…” – Christmas Song, I believe. Once I hear that I will sing it all day long.
It would have to be “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas”. I live in Australia, and we just don’t get those! LOL
I love Silent Night. I love most Christmas hymns, but this one is special to me. It’s also my husband’s favorite.
There are so many songs I love it’s hard to pick, but White Christmas is at the top with Silent night.
O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song, it reminds me of
the true meaning of this holiday and the beginning of God’s redemptive plan.
Away in the Manger is mine. Wonderful when we sing all the verses, and how children can sing it too.
My favorite is “Joy to the World!” It has so much energy in the music, and meaning in the words. I love singing it every year.
I like Silent Night because we sing it to candle light at our church every Christmas Eve.
My favorite is It Came Upon A Midnight Clear. It’s just such a beautiful song and of course I love the message.
This is a stunning release that absolutely puts me in a festive Christmassy mood.
I think my favorite Christmas song is Chris Rea’s Driving Home for Christmas. It has become my favorite since we moved from Denmark to Germany and thus do drive home for Christmas.
O Holy Night–it gives me chills when I hear this song. The holiest of holies born in a stable and I can imagine the heavenly host appearing to the shepherds and the awe and wonder of it all. Fabulous release!
I love Joy to the World because it iOS so triumphant and oh
Holy Night as it so poetic, reflective and beautiful.
I think I own more Christmas music CDs than popular music CDs so this is a tough question for me. I love the triumphant religious songs – Joy to the World and Hark the Herald Angels Sing (It’s a Wonderful Life flashback). Oh Holy Night and Carol of the Bells are favorites too. White Christmas, We Need a Little Christmas – I could go on and on. Blake Shelton released a Christmas version of Michael Buble’s Home that is a new favorite.
I’d have to say White Christmas – love the words and the movie is one of my favorites too!
I too have many favorites, but Angels We Have Heard On High is special because I remember when I was a little girl and could play it on the piano, and how excited I was when I could. Congratulations to the winner of this contest! 🙂
Favorite song? White Christmas because it reminds me of my mother who used to sing it during the holidays.
We also watched the movie together. Great memories!
My favourite holiday song is Silent Night. When I was younger, my brother and I had to sing it in German on Christmas Eve before gift opening so the song holds wonderful memories for me.
“When my heart finds Christmas” by Harry Connick Jr. Not necessarily a classic but I just love it.
My favorite is O Holy Night because that is what Christmas is truly about.
Favorite time of year!! Love trimming the tree & turning out house lighting & sitting by fireplace ,listening to silent night!! It fills my heart!!
I like The Holly and the Ivy, even though I can’t sing it! It reminds me of old-fashioned English Christmases that I’ve seen in old movies.
I also like Good King Wenceslas; it’s a bit more singable, and a nice story.
My favorite Christmas song is White Christmas because I really do think snow on Christmas makes it even more special. I feel a little sad when when I have a Christmas without snow (good thing I live in a cold area!)
Love the bitter sweet sentiment of “Have yourself a merry little Christmas”, but nothing quite evokes a snowy, wintry night as well as “Past 3 o’clock” being sung by a single little chorister outside the chapel.
O Holy Night or Little Drummer Boy. I can’t pick just one song anymore than I can pick one product of the new release!
My favorite Christmas song is Silent Night. It brings a calming peace to me and helps me to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
Oh! The Carol of the Bells always touches my heart! THe Piano Guys version is a fav: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9GtPX6c_kg
“White Christmas”, although there are many Christmas songs that I love hearing over & over. I love the more traditional songs. This particular song brings back fond memories of when I was a child. We really had very little money, & the small B & W TV was so temperamental- you had to hit it @ a certain spot to get rid of specific lines of static (& there was no remote). Anyway, we always watched that movie together, & my mind was filled with so many dreams… I love Christmas!
My most favorite holidaysong is not a mainstream song, but rather a song from the disneyland Paris themepark. It is called “Chante c’est Noël”; which means as much as: Come sing, it’s Christmas.
The themepark has special meaning to us, it was where my father, once through the turnstiles, could forget and be ‘young’ again. We would visit every summer and tried to sneek in another visit during the holiday season.
Sadly he died almost five years ago, but the memories remain.
Oh my, it is hard to choose just one song. Christmas Carols are my favorite music! I think since I have to choose, it is O Holy Night! A STUNNINGLY beautiful song!
O Holy Night has always been my favorite Christmas song. I love the words and it just touches my heart every time I hear it or sing it!
“O Holy Night” is my favorite. The words are so beautiful. But I listen to Christmas music non-stop as soon as Thanksgiving is over. Great release, PTI!
Jingle Bells is my favorite, too. I love the rhythm, especially when my children play it on the violin.
“O Holy Night” . . . Or any other Christmas carol in a minor key.
O Come, O Come Emmanual is one of my favorites. I love the message and the feelings it brings. Christmas music in general makes me happy.
Joy to the world because everyone in church knows it and sing!
I have so many favorites but O Holy Night is at the top. I love the part “Fall on your knees” because it is a great reminder of the response we should all have to Christ’s majesty.
It’ so hard to say what is my very favorite! I would have to say Silent Night. As a child
we had a small plastic church music box that would play this and I would stand for hours gazing at that little church with the people going in and out of it. Somehow that little church was packed along when I left home to get married and I now enjoy those special memories in my own home each Christmas!
Jingle Bells because it is the first song I taught my niece to sing at 2 yo. She is like my own daughter and loves to scrapbook and make cards with me particularly during the holidays.
Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson! That song just seems to kick start the Christmas season. It’s upbeat and just gets me ready!
Santa Claus is Coming to Town by the Jackson 5. We always heard it on our radio station while waiting to open our presents.
Oh, I have so many favorites. I do LOVE “Silent Night” It is so soft and soothing!
My favorite Christmas song is Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer! Such fond memories of belting it out with my boys when they were little and now with my grandsons!
I love Last Christmas and It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas. Christmas really is my favorite holiday iof the year!
My favorite Christmas song is, “I heard the bells on Christmas Day” (I think that’s the title). Not sure why, probably just the words. I always stop and listen when it comes on.
Silent Night – it is sung at the end of Christmas Eve service by candlelight. Always brings tears to my eyes.
Feliz Navidad and We Three Kings are the two Christmas songs that bring immense joy to my heart not only because they’re fabulous, but because they make my mom especially happy, too!
~carol
Oh Holy Night has always been my favorite. It always brings tears to my eyes thinking of the beauty of that special night. It has the hushed reverence that just feels like your are witnessing the original night so long ago. When I saw your release with that title, I couldn’t believe it and the release is wonderful. I am so thankful that you have this one particularly. So Thankful! And so happy.
I would have to say Walking In A Winter Wonderland–it was the first song my grandmother taught me to play on the piano—such great memories!!!!
My favorite Christmas song is Mary did you know. To me it makes Christmas more personal and it reminds me my job as mother is very important.
My favorite Christmas song is Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey because it’s fun to sing 🙂
I never liked Little Drummer Boy but after hearing the Pentatonix version it’s it my all time favorite. I can now understand the meaning when it’s presented in a way that speaks to me.
My favorite Holiday song is O Holy Night. When I was in the eight grade that was the song they gave me to sing for my solo at our Christmas Performance and it just always brings chills to arms when anyone sings it!!
Silent Night, sung by the congregation on Christmas Eve night, holding candles with all the lights turned off in the sanctuary. It’s the moment that says “Christmas is here” for me.
I Also love Silent night and I just wanted to say again… I am just so in love with this release. I just keep going back to look at everything trying to decide what to buy!!
Silent Night is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I grew up around a very musical family and every year my family would sing songs after we opened gifts and Silent Night always ways the most beautiful and calming song we would sing. It set the mood for the day and always brought tears to my eyes when my Grandma would sing it (she has the most beautiful voice).
Silent night – it seems to express the season so well.
My favorite Christmas song is “Why couldn’t it be Christmas everyday?” from Bianca Ryan. It’s an up-tempo, happy song. I always sing along whenever I hear it.
Little Drummer Boy because it speaks of the innocence of children. I always envision the scene as the song unwinds.
Walking in a Winter Wonderland, love that song because it always reminds me of when I was a child. The bus broke down and we had to walk home in the snow, to keep us from moaning my Dad made us sing! Wonderful memory.
My favorite is Oh Holy Night. I played it as an early teen for a program and I practiced it for months even learning to memorize it.
It’s A Marshmallow World by Dean Martin! Because my best gal pal threatened to dump bags and bags of marshmallows on my lawn for my birthday which IS Christmas…..it was a very wet winter and they would have exploded in size. We laughed so hard thinking about what my Dear Hubby would think lol
So many to choose from- and each has a wonderful connection to the holidays. The Carol of the Bells- reminds me of my mom- I miss her so much! Thanks for such beautiful stamping supplies!
There are many Christmas songs I love but O Holy Night is so beautiful and makes me well up when the whole congregation is singing it. What a wonderful time of the year and my favorite holiday.
“O Holy Night” is my favorite Christmas carol. I can hear my sisters and I blending our voices together to sing it, and it always brings back happy childhood memories.
“O Holy Night” because I love the lyrics and the melody. It’s about the birth of my Savior and that’s why we should celebrate Christmas.
I listen all year round to Christmas in limited amounts. I love it so much, but one of my favorites would have to be Christmastime is here. I probably have eight versions of it on my play list.
I blame it on my name that I have over 3 days worth of Christmas music on my computer! Haha. I love the song Sleigh Ride! We used to untangle the Christmas lights all along the floor then turn on Sleigh Ride and dance around them. Now my favorite one about Jesus…there are too many…What Child is This and Carol of the Bells are coming to mind at the moment.
My favorite is Jingle Bells. It just puts me in a good, festive mood the first time I hear it eCh season.
I forgot to say why. It has such beautiful music. I could listen all day.
My favorite holiday song is here comes Santa Claus. It’s very catchy and reminds me of my kids, who love the season so much.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Great tune.
Walking in a winter wonderland… Love snow and holiday walks
Silent night is my favourite but as a child it was away in a manger.
I loved singing it in school.
Wow, what a difficult question! I’d have to pick Nat King Cole’s version of White Christmas. Love it, I just have to stop what I’m doing and usually listen.
So many songs! But the one that comes first to mind is Mary’s Boy Child done by BoneyM. So full of life with wonderful beat and meaningful words! Can’t help but get up and move or smile!
Away in a Manger really reminds us what the celebration is all about at Christmas.
I love so many Christmas songs. A long-time favorite is Joy to the World. It is so uplifting and has such a positive message of hope!
Silent Night is my favorite…it’s what Christmas is all about.
O Holy Night! It always gives me the chills to think of that night.
“Jingle Bell Rock” because it’s uplifting. While I love all Christmas
music some songs make me feel more melancholy.
“Oh Holy Night” is my favorite. The music and words bring tears to my eyes (even right now as I’m just thinking about them.)
I would have to say “Sikent Night” because it has an easy tune so I can sing it to my kids!
Silent Night at midnight in church by candlelight. You can just imagine the scene when Christ was born. Just the simplicity of it all and the magic of His whole story. Gives me chills thinking about it.
Jingle bell rock. Such a happy, upbeat song. I wished I could buy everything this month. Amazing release. Thank you.
My favorite Christmas song used to be Silent Night until I heard O Holy Night sung by an extremely talented young lady at a church service one evening! I was so touched by the lyrics and her heartfelt gratitude as she sang to the Lord! So now, O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song. So rich a love He has for us!
I would have to say “Do You Hear What I Hear?” as sung by Suzy Bogguss–there is just something about that song that speaks to me.
Jingle bells! It is such a fun song and gets everyone in a good mood and in the holiday spirit.
White Christmas because it’s a beautiful song and those were the types of Christmases that I grew up with.
It’s got to be: I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas, because I always am!
It’s bound to be O Holy Night…I just love the story it tells and the reverent nature of the song.
LOVE this release!!!!
Favorite Christmas song….O Come All Ye Faithful. Why? It’s beautiful and I feel it so deep that I get chills when I hear it. ♥
It is really hard to narrow it down to just one song. I love all Christmas songs. I guess I would say Away in a Manger because it always brings me back to the true meaning of Christmas.
I like a lot of Christmas songs. Maybe Away in the Manger. My grandparents always had we grandchildren sing it before we opened our presents.
Little Drummer Boy. When my sons were little we would “sing-a-long” with the music.
It always brings back such sweet memories.
My favorite is the Christmas song by Nat King Cole.
Joy to the World is my favorite because its words totally capture the reason for the season!
Jingle bell rock is my favorite. It’s lively!
Not sure if it’s the official title of the song, but I love Oh, Come let us adore Him!
O Holy Night has to be the top of so many favorites! Beautiful, meaningful, it slows me down during the busy times to appreciate what the season means!
I would have to say Huron Carol. It is a Canadian hymn written in the 1600’s. I just love the sound and feel of this song.
Jingle Bells is my favorite. It is so joyful and fun! Thanks for all the inspiration!
My favorite Christmas song is Jingle Bells, because I can singing it the whole day 🙂
It is a toss up between O Holy Night and Silent Night. Such peaceful words and melodies.
My favorite Christmas song is Silent Night. I have great memories singing it in four part harmony growing up and how it always touches my heart!
Christmas music isn’t just for Christmas in my house. I actually listen to it all year long.lol I have so many Christmas favorites but, I must say one of those favorites that stick out is ” Santa Baby” by Eartha Kitt. It’s upbeat, sassy and fun.
Absolutely love O Holy Night…after all, that is the reason we celebrate….
I love ‘O Holy Night’ … it just fills me with awe every time I hear it. Thanks for the contest!
Love Sleigh Ride, especially the Carpenters version! It’s the song I always hum during the holidays!
Oh gosh! Do I have to pick just ONE? My favorite religious song is “O Holy Night”. There was a father/son duet that sang this song on Christmas Eve at church from different balconies and it was so beautiful. For a kids’ song, I like “I’m Gettin’ Nuttin’ for Christmas”. It’s just fun to sing along in the car. 🙂
O Holy Night…remember hearing my mom sing this, she had such a beautiful voice.
For me, it’s a tie between “O Come Emmanuel”. & “Lo, How a Rose E’r Blooming” because I like songs in a minor key.
Away in a Manger has always been my favorite hymn, Home for Christmas my favorite carol. Both songs strike different chords in my soul. One to remind me of the reason we celebrate and the other to remind me of my biggest blessing: family and home.

It really is too hard to pick just one. I love the classics but I also love modern rockers singing new songs. One standout is Baby Please Come Home sung by Darlene Love.
I love all of the Charlie Brown Christmas songs.
Gosh, there are SO many good holiday songs out there… I will have to go with Adeste Fidelis by Luciano Pavarotti as my favorite with a secret love of Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You – which my husband hates because he thinks it is too mushy and corny and prefers traditional, classical things rather than ‘pop-y’ ones, so I have fun listening to that one with my girlfriends. Thanks for the chance to win!
Favorite Christmas Carol — that’s a tough one. I’ll say Jingle Bells because it is so festive and catchy.

White Christmas!! Growing up in the midwest- we always looked forward to waking up Christmas day hoping for snow and listening to this song!!
My favorite holiday song is “Baby it’s Cold Outside.” It’s just a fun jazzy number, though it is slightly problematic with one person trying to force the other to stay when that second person has clearly expressed a desire to leave. I still like it.
I just love Harry Connick, Jr.’s (It must have been ol’) Santa Claus. It is such a fun and upbeat Christmas song and I can’t help swaying to the beat when I hear it.
What a great question! I love reading all the comments and trying to sing the different Holiday songs that everyone has chosen as a favorite, a good memory exercise! The carol we ended with was Silent Night, so peaceful, I would say it is my favorite.

For me it’s more like what Christmas song do I *not* like because really, that list is a lot shorter!! But thinking about the holiday and the reason for it – Who is He in Yonder Stall? is probably my favorite because it starts at the manger, goes to the cross and then into eternity – it encompasses *everything* that Christmas is really all about.
Silent Night by the Temptations. It was a song my dad played all the time when I was a kid.
My favorite is a rather obscure carol, The Huron Carol. It was written by a French Jesuit, Jean de Brebuef, who was a missionary to the Huron Indians near modern day Midland, Ontario. It is hauntingly beautiful. I first fell in love with it when I was principal at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis.

It is now on my iTunes and I drive my husband crazy as it plays often every Christmas season on my computer!

For me it is a tie between White Christmas ( which reminds me of happy times at Grandma’s with the entire family -both lived in the same area so I really mean my entire family) and This Christmas (Donny Hathaway) which reminds me of my immediate family. As a military wife, it was always special when my husband could be home at Christmas time (it’s my happy cheerful Christmas song)

I think White Christmas would have to be IT. I still love the movie with Bing Crosby. That movie was so funny and poignant. I live in Maryland, so we do get a “white” Christmas about 50% of the time. I really can’t imagine living somewhere that Christmas would never have snow, although I think I COULD appreciate warmer weather!

I love ‘White Christmas’, but it has to be sung by Bing Crosby. No one else can do the song justice. :). It just brings back all the fun Christmas memories!
It’s always been a toss up for me. I love God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen; because it tells us all we need to know about the sacrifice made on our behalf. I also love I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day; because of the story of how it came to be, and the message of keeping your faith when things seem so bad.

“O Holy Night” is my favorite holiday song. The music is both beautiful and powerful, but more importantly, the words tell the story of the season: “Long lay the world, in sin and error pining, till He appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!”

Songs always give a good feeling that really doesn’t matter which Song is the favorite song-the main thing is to be together whole family
The Christmas song that I love most is Silent Night. When the kids sing it caroling and at their Christmas concerts, I get goose bumps every time.
Mr grinch cause if reminds us to keep the holiday spirit alive
Jingle Bells I think is my favorite. It’s something I sing when wrapping presents and making cards.
Gosh so many to choose from, but I guess I’d say “Oh Holy Night” because it seems to capture the essence of the birth of Christ and it’s one I remember from my childhood.
Hands down, it has to be “Mary, Did You Know?”. Our teenage daughter (years ago) sang it at the Christmas Eve service at our church. She did a wonderful job and brought tears to many people’s eyes, especially her parents. (Pentatonix does an amazing rendition of this hymn, it’s on YouTube.)
I have come to love the ‘grown up Christmas list’ song. The words tell of all the things we truly want for our lives, not just Christmas. I wish Christmas could last all year long. The products released this month are so fun! I love them all!
Winter Wonderland…because I truly do love walking in one.
O Holy Night. It has such richness. “With all our hearts, we praise His holy name- Christ is the Lord!”
My favorite Christmas carol is Santa Claus Has Been Coming to Town. The part about finding out who’s been naughty and nice?? Well, I AM nice, but I think I’m going to be naughty with this month’s spending…. This has been an awesome release!
White Christmas is my favorite holiday song. Partially due to the movie… When they sing that song at the end, I always get teary-eyed! But also because I wish for a white Christmas every year. To see the outside blanketed in snow just looks so peaceful and calm… The way the world should be.
My favorite Christmas song is ‘O, Holy Night’ We used to sing it in the choir in high school and when we broke into 4 parts for the chorus, it would totally give you chills. Such a gorgeous song.
I have to say that Rudolf the red nosed reindeer is a favorite for sure. Cute and fun for the kids.

White Christmas is my all-time favorite movie (with the song), however “O Holy Night” is my favorite Christmas carol.
Silver Bells! I grew up listening to that song every Christmas and I love its happy message!
Silent Night is my favorite song representing the birth of Christ. We sing it every year at our Christmas Eve Candlelight service. It begins in a nearly dark sanctuary and ends with everyone’s lighted candle being held high as we sing Silent Night. To me, that is the true meaning of Christmas. Celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Carol
My favorite Christmas song is Angels we have heard on high. Whenever I sing it, it just lifts my heart with hope and joy.

I like so many of them but I think O Holy Night is my favorite. Chokes me up whenever I hear it.
My favorite holiday songs are the “classics” from the 50s & 60s (Bing Crosby and the like). I still have lots of fun new songs in my Christmas Favorites playlist, but without Bing, it just doesn’t feel like Christmas. I’m guessing it is because those are the songs I grew up with.
Hark the Herald because I love it when it’s sung with all the harmonies and I have wonderful memories of singing it whilst in the school choir.

“Mary, Did You Know?” sung by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd – our first child was born on December 27 so the idea of a baby at Christmas became even more meaningful to me that year. Jingle Bells – fun and festive song puts you in the Christmas spirit
My fav Christmas song will always be Silent Night. My ancestors are German and each Christmas Eve, we would gather in the living room by the tree and in German, my G’pa would sing it to us. Those memories are planted in my mind and will forever live in my heart. It also touches me that it was sung simultaneously in English and German by troops during the Christmas truce of 1914 during World War I. Apparently it was the one carol that soldiers on both sides of the front line knew.
My favorite song is Hark, the Herald Angels Sing. I just love the music and the message. Also, it reminds me of my favorite Christmas movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
