There are two separate sets to coordinate with the dies, each offering a slightly different style. The goal is that you will easily be able to create multi-color tags with just a few stamp impressions. It all starts with a basic tag filler, which can be paired with a few different layers of companion stamps to fill in the blank opening.  Once you try these you won't be able to stop!  This set has a more whimsical look with reindeer, a snowman and sprigs of holly!  The black arrows on the illustration above show you some points of reference to use when stamping the layers!  The rest just falls into place!

The Details:

  • Minute to Make: Holiday Tags 1 will be available for purchase on September 15th.
  • It will retail for $15.
  • Minute to Make: Holiday Tags 1 contains a total of 14 images.  The completed "blocks" that fit within the opening of the middle of the tag measure 1-1/2" x 1". The polka-dot tag image measures 1-3/8" x 2-3/4".  a completed tag made with the coordinating die measures 1-1/2" x 3".
  • Coordinates with Minute to Make Holiday Tags die collection.

MTM-Holiday-Tags-2-assembly

This second set offers you a basic tag design with stripes and three more sets of designs to fill the opening.  One of the best things is that you can mix and match these fillers with the opening in the polka dot tag from the first version above!  This set has a bit more of a modern feel with gorgeous layering options!  Just like the set above, the black arrows on the illustration above show you some points of reference to use when stamping the first layer!  The rest just falls into place!

The Details:

  • Minute to Make: Holiday Tags 2 will be available for purchase on September 15th.
  • It will retail for $15.
  • Minute to Make: Holiday Tags 2 contains a total of 15 images.

Christmas-tree-change-up-title

Christmas-Tree-Change-Up-Card-dies

The Christmas Tree Change Up stamp set is one of four Christmas Tree Change Up products that are designed to work together to create a variety of projects for your holiday season. This is holiday mixing and matching at its best. The fantastic part is you get to choose which products you want to create with, as each one works just as well individually as they do as a group. The stamp set will look fantastic on paper projects such as card fronts with its vintage 1950's-style holiday tree. Combine it with the Christmas Tree Box Dies to create paper ornaments, treat boxes, and holiday table decor. And you can even add some hand stitched flair when you combine it with the Christmas Tree Change Up Stitching Dies. If you are looking for versatility, the Christmas Tree Change Up Collection is where it can be found this holiday season.

The small triangular Christmas tree measures approximately 3/4" x 1-1/8". The large star measures approximately 1" x 1". The "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry" sentiment measures approximately 1-3/8" x 3/8". The two triangular phrases, designed to go on the Christmas Tree Box or the triangular die cut tag, measure approximately 1" x 1-1/4" when assembled.

Here are some tips on assembling this delightful little box right from Erin Lincoln herself!

Isn't this fabulous?!?!  I can see this being used for so many things!

Christmas-Tree-Change-Up-Stitching-dies

For those of you who are head over heels in love with the stitching dies, this little add on is for you!  Erin designed these dies to add stitching holes to the Christmas Tree Change Up box, or just a flat tree for cards and tags!  Just lay them on top of your pre-cut shape and do an extra pass with your die-cutting machine!  These add a whole new level to your embellishment capabilities!

The Details:

  • Christmas Tree Change Up: Stitching die/collection will be available for purchase on September 15th.
  • It will retail for $12.
  • Christmas Tree Change Up: Stitching contains a total of 4 dies.  tree outline (2" x 4-5/8"), tree ornaments (1-3/8" x 2-3/8"), tree filigree (1-1/2" x 2-1/2")

Check out this video that Erin put together that shows the stitching dies in action!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Merry & Bright Collection

For my first set of tags I couldn't wait to dig into the Minute to Make collection.  I opted to go with this tag from the second set.  Seriously folks, these are the EASIEST things to stamp, EVER!

Merry & Bright tag

The striped tag base comes first done in Berry Sorbet.  then the stars and banner string in Aqua Mist and finally the banner itself in Simply Chartreuse.  The "& Bright" addition is done in Charcoal Palette.  I love how these tags look *complete*, yet they are single layer and have plenty of visual interest!  Not to mention it literally took 5 minutes to make three of them!  The hardest part was picking out my colors!

Dot swap

I wanted to show you this little visual as well!  You can swap out the patterned tag base images between stamp sets.  For example, the polka dot base from the first set can be swapped out with the "fillers" from the second set!  That will multiply the number of looks you are able to achieve!

Side

Next is a keepsake tag/ornament made from the new Christmas Tree Change Up products.  I die-cut one section of the box from Ocean Tides felt and trimmed off both ends.  One of them was cut a second time with the stitching holes die.

Paper tag

I added the details on the front with floss and seed beads, adding a daily stitch here and there for something a bit different.  The edges are whipstitched.  I love the shape of this tag die-cut from the collection.  I cut it from white and stamped it with coordinating stamps in Ocean Tides and Aqua Mist.

Felt tag

What a wonderful way to wrap, by including a little something that can be kept and treasured for years to come!

All 3 tags

I love sending little treats for the teachers during the holidays and thought that this year I would use these little mini disposable foil loaf pans to package things up!  I traced the rim and made a template, than created top top "lid" with a layer of Pinefeather cardstock and Pinefeather Bitty Dot paper.

Top

I used the Ribbon Slider tags to embellish the top of each tin.

Tags

The sentiment was stamped in True Black directly onto the tag, then I stamped again on extra white cardstock with Pure Poppy ink pad punched out the center circle with a 5/8" punch.

Evergreen sprigs

The evergreen boughs were die-cut from white cardstock and stamped with the coordinating images from Holiday folk.  I inked the stamps in New Leaf and then dabbed the ends in Pinefeather ink to get an ombre look.

Ribbon wrapped

The ribbon just wraps all the way around the tin and through the tags, easy peasy.

All 3 tags

Not only are these quick to make, but inexpensive too!

Celebrate Gift Card Pocket

I have one last project for you today, a little something to help package up gift cards!

Bag closeup

I die-cut the bag from Rustic White and stamped the sentiment from In the Bag on the front in New Leaf.  The letter "e" is a separate stamp, so I was able to add that in some contrasting colors.  I used the stars from Christmas Cheer around the edge of the bag.

Mitten down

This mittened hand is cut from Hawaiian Shores and stamped with Background Basics: Striped Sweater in Tropical Teal.  I adhered just the top edge of the mitten in place to hold the gold cord handle.

Mitten up

That way the recipient can flip it up to access the gift card inside the bag.

Gift card out

It even looks great without the mitten if you want a more sophisticated look!  Now that you have seen a few of my creations, here are some of the amazing things that the team has created!

This post confirms it; there needs to be the equivalent of an academy award for paper products. (You would assuredly win it every year.) I can’t over-state how in awe I am of your innovation this release. You really are leaving every other company in the Christmas dust (snow?). There is so much creativity in just this one day, that I’ve Pinned you many times with raves attached.

Betsy’s outing (does that woman know how to make the most of other year’s releases too?!) is sure to produce a stampede for previous products. (I’d hurry to get those pint containers in stock before the 15th!)

It’s a merry Christmas from now until December 25th!

Very enjoyable crafting awaiting us! Can hardly wait until the 15th. I’m sure everyone is the same about that! I especially enjoy the stitching examples since I’m a sewing fanatic and quilter. Wish I had some little girls to sew with! My grand daughters aren’t quite old enough to do these yet.

So beautiful– I love the shopping bag set, ribbon slider dies, tags and stitching…well, all of it! I look forward to using the non-denominational items (tags, shopping bag etc) and combining it with the Jewish holiday sets (Mazal Tov, Mazal Tov additions, L’Shanah Tovah and the mini, gorgeous Hanukkah set Love and Light). Thanks again for such beautiful inspiration!

WOW! What an amazing collection. I absolutely adore the Christmas Tree Change Up set. Every year I have a basket of goodies by my front door that we give as treats to anyone who visits our home in December. This year my basket is going to be full of those wonderful trees filled with candy. BTW, that perforated opening die is brilliant. I’ve always wanted something like that for the inside of shaker cards so I could put candy in the shakers. I will be using that long after Christmas is gone. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
