Welcome, welcome, welcome to everyone! All of us here at Papertrey Ink are so excited for this year’s online Stamp-a-faire event! It is going to be an amazing opportunity to learn new things, get some stamping done and interact with other paper crafters around the world!
Tonight we are kicking off the festivities with our “Friday Night Fashion Show”! We hope to make it a bit easier to wait for the BIG DAY as you put the finishing touches on getting ready for tomorrow! Feel free to visit our Stamp-a-faire Customer Forum to chat with other stampers that are in the middle of preparations HERE!
In honor of tonight’s fashion show theme (more about that below!) the team and I put together a little something extra special that we just know you are going to love! In true runway style, start the show!!!
If we made you literally laugh out loud at least a time or two, we’ve done our jobs! If all of the high fashion contained in that video doesn’t inspire you for tomorrow, I don’t know what will! We sincerely hope you enjoyed!
We’d love to know what some of the highlights of the video were for you! Did you see the paper crafting tools tucked in here and there? What about the accessories that some of the girls made themselves, like the Secret Agent glasses? And how about all of the *guest* stars the designers had join them? Not only was the finished product fun to watch, it was also amazing being part of the process together as a team! And we hope that shows!
Earlier this year we challenged all of you to alter and decorate a white t-shirt, and now is your chance to share your creation with the world! Below you will find an InLinkz list which will allow you to “share your shirt” with fellow stampers from around the world and/or give everyone a peek into your preparations for the big day!
Share a link to a photo, video or blog post of yourself wearing your t-shirt! Or with your Stamp-a-faire gear, perhaps with a group of stamping friends that you are getting together with tonight, where you are in your journey if you’re on the road or anything else you are doing to prepare for the big day! Two of the participants who post here tonight will be selected to receive a $50 PTI gift certificate and will be announced on our Tuesday night Stamp-a-faire winners post. Wonderful opening video!!! Loved seeing the fun wigs, costumes, and props and Heather haloed in inks and dies! EVERYONE shared something fun!!! What a wonderful team you are! You ladies are beyond fabulous! It takes a lot of bravery to film yourself goofing around like that and post it for all the world to see, so kudos! I loved it!!! It was fun to see all the “guest” stars, and I especially loved the crafting tool accessories…I about split a seam (pun intended) when Nichole came on with the heat-gun “fan”. I was so disappointed that we were moving the weekend of stamp-a-faire, but this year I have a fabulous new studio upstairs with huge windows and a beautiful view! I’m participating from Chico CA – didn’t have to travel (or pack anything!), rent a room, etc. – I love that I can stamp to my heart’s content for the entire weekend, fueled by tons of amazing. (I even took a vacation day from work on Monday so I can finish up projects and posts . . . and CLEAN UP!!!)
What a wonderful celebration to kick off Stamp-A-Faire 2015. This is my first year to participate. (I have watched the past two years.) I know how hard the design team has been working to bring us so much inspiration! So grateful to have set aside a whole day for cardmaking! Heartfelt thanks to all! ♡
