The Still Life: Summer stamp set is designed to help you quickly and easily create the look of painted fruit, using just your stamps and ink! Still Life: Summer stamp set contains a total of 27 images. The “thanks” sentiment measures 1 ¾” wide and just over ¾” high. The assembled peach with leaves and stem measures just under 1 ½” wide and 1 5/8” high. The assembled cherries measure 1 ½” wide and 1 ½” high, including the stem and leaves. The citrus slice measures 1 1/8”. The “you’re a peach” sentiment measures 1 ¾” wide and 1/8’ high.
The coordinating die collection helps you to layer the images and words with ease. There are dies to use with the peach, cherry, strawberry and lime as well as the words, for a total of six dies.
The patterned papers included in the kit feature some pre-printed fruit images that can diecut for quick projects, and more! Betsy used some of her own watercoloring to design these papers so you can get that artistic look without any work!
This beautiful ombre raffia is dyed in colors that coordinate with the papers perfectly. It can be used *crinkled* and kept narrow at 1/4" or flattened out to a little over 1" wide. You get two whole yards to play around with, so you can add it to lots of projects!
There is also a dozen blank chalkboard tags which you can customize to suit your design. They each measure 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" and are already tied with string. Use them on card fronts or as gift tags. They would even look great tied around a Ball jar!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I couldn't wait to get started with the new Friendship Jar Shaker die! It gives you the ability to take the whole collection in a new design direction!
I started with the daisies from the original Friendship Jar Fillers set, now easily layered thanks to the the new coordinating die. I added just a touch of watercolor to highlight a few aspects of the cheery flowers.
The new Friendship Jar Shaker die was cut from our double sided foam adhesive sheets then layered with clear cardstock and finished with a white top layer that was stamped with the jar image from Friendship Jar. The shaker was filled with pretty yellow seed beads to complement the flower centers. I added one of Dawn's new Scripted phrases on top of the jar, die-cut from Harvest Gold cardstock.
Everything was adhered to a simple Classic Kraft card base. What kinds of things can you imagine putting in your Friendship Jar shakers?
Dawn is famous for her gorgeous floral sets and the new Bloomers collection is certainly no exception!
I started with a white card front and stamped a few leaves from Leave It Be directly onto it using Spring Moss and Ripe Avocado. The Bloomers were cut from Melon Berry cardstock and then layered with various stamps at the center using Berry Sorbet, Terracotta Tile and Dark Chocolate. The centers were finished with a few white dots from a white gel pen and adhesive pearls. I snipped in between each petal with scissors and then brushed a bit of Fresh Snow ink onto the petals edges.
A simple sentiment die-cut using the new Scripted dies and Soft Stone cardstock adds balance to the overall project. I just love the font she chose for these! I know I will be using them a lot!
Now onto a pair of projects using Betsy's new gorgeous kit, Still Life: Summer! One of the things I love most about Betsy's kits is that you can take advantage of pre-printed elements when you need something very quick and easy, but you also have the longevity of stamping your own touches. This first project went together in just five minutes because Betsy did all the hard work with the pre-printed supplies.
First, take a look at this gorgeous plaid paper! The colors and gradients are just stunning! I cut it into strips so I could use it on more than one card.
The pre-printed chalkboard tag was easy to layer right over the plaid strip with a little foam tape. I punched a hole and tied the top of the tag with twine.
Such an easy card, but really colorful and beautiful at the same time!
For my next project, I used the same design concept, but replaced the tag with my own die-cut and stamped elements.
Over the plaid strip, I added cherries and a die-cut phrase. The cherries were stamped in Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz and True Black. The leaves were added separately with Simply Chartreuse cardstock, stamped in Ripe Avocado. To help carry through the black, I added an black enamel dot as a replacement for the dot over the "j" in Enjoy.

These are really beautiful. The mason jars are so pretty as you feel you are really seeing through the glass. The fruit stamps are always current and you used beautiful shading. Beyond beautiful into gorgeous!

The Friendship Jar Shaker is my absolute favorite! I love Mason Jars! And to be able to use it with an old set that I completely have it’s fantastic!!!

I’ve always loved the Friendship Jar sets so I am loving the new dies for them. I also love Betsy’s kit, especially the peaches. Every year I make peach jam for my husbands customers for Christmas so this will make the tags so easy.
