Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

2015 Grad Pop Up Card

The cover of this grad card is super simple.  It features a strip of white cardstock stamped with one of the great font choices from Keep It Simple: Graduation.

2015

I added custom numbers using a variety of patterned papers.  They were layered three times using white cardstock, then the patterned paper layer on top

Full interior

When you open up the card, you see this!

Pop up closeup

The new Text Block: You Did It die works great as a pop up feature.  By using scor-tape on the left and right sides and doing the appropriate scoring, this easy card feature can take your projects to a whole new level!  I cut the die from Summer Sunrise cardstock and then cut just the triangular banners out using patterned papers.

Pop up down

I used the same patterned papers to accent either side of the Text Block.

Down

This can be customized for other congratulatory occasions as well just by swapping out the sentiment on the front!

Congrats Grad Card

My next grad project uses the new Enclosed Graduate set.  I love this extra large cap die, it is such a great focal point.

Congrats

I die-cut the hat from True Black cardstock and then also cut the congrats cap frame.  With a few snips, I cut the "congrats" from the frame and adhered it to the cap.  The word was then coated with Glossy Accents and allowed to dry.

Tassel

I made my own gold tassel with embroidery floss and attached it to the cap with a gold brad.

2015 border

The small "2015" in the Enclosed: Graduate stamp set is great for creating borders like this.

Down

The Cover Plate: Stripes Horizontal was the perfect background for this card.  I was able to create an ombre effect with a variety of cardstock colors.  You could also use school colors for the background stripes.

So Proud Card

I have another easy grad card to share with you.  This one is great for showcasing school colors with pride, here I have used Pure Poppy and Summer Sunrise.  I cut the Pure Poppy card front twice with the Enclosed: Graduate die and adhered the whole piece to my white card base with foam tape.  I love the dimension this adds!

Congrats closeup

The Enclosed: Graduate congrats frame was cut three times from Smokey Shadow cardstock and sandwiched together.  I stamped the "So proud of you" sentiment from Enclosed: Graduate in True Black and then added the die-cut tassel.  It was stamped with the coordinating image in Orange Zest.

Interior

The interior of this card is stamped with one of the fantastic sentiments from Tucked In: Congratulations.

Down

A super easy card design that can totally become one of you "go-to" layouts whenever you have graduations to celebrate!

Bright Future Card

I could hardly wait to break out Lizzie's new Retro Style Graduation set.  It is SO fun to use and really holds so many possibilities.

Sign closeup

This sign configuration is just one of many options in this set!  I stamped the various parts using Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise and True Black.  The grad portion was die-cut from Aqua Mist cardstock and stamped in Tropical Teal.

Side

I added some die-cut Sketched Stars in Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise and Tropical Teal to help accent the colors of the sign.

Down

A Smokey Shadow card base seemed like a great "retro" finishing touch.

Retro Birthday Card

Using the same sign from Retro Style Graduation, I was able to add in some additional stamps from Retro Style Birthday Sentiments to create a great birthday card.  I love getting versatility from my stamps like this!

Stripes

I cut a block of Summer Sunrise cardstock at an angle and stamped it with Background Basics: Super Stripes using Orange Zest ink.

Sign closeup

This time the sign was stamped in Orange Zest and Simply Chartreuse, with "cake" cut from Hibiscus Burst and stamped in Pure Poppy.

I don’t usually have too many Graduation cards to do. I end up making something mostly of paper without die cuts or stamps. Graduations just don’t come along with enough frequency to invest in stamps and dies. However, as usual, the designs you have shown are wonderful and the products are unique.
