Quilted-spring-dies

Quilts have a classic, timeless beauty!  Now you can recreate one of the most beloved quilt patterns, the Wedding Ring, using the new  Quilted: Spring stamp set.  Combining the Quilted: Spring stamps with the coordinating die collection will allow you to quickly and easily create beautiful paper quilts to use on your handmade cards and gifts.  The sentiments in this set complement the theme of the Wedding Ring, and will be perfect for creating lovely wedding and anniversary cards.

You can look forward to three more sets to be released in the future, making this a seasonal series!

The Details:

  • Quilted: Spring will be available for purchase on February 15th.
  • It will retail for $15.
  • Quilted: Spring contains a total of 13 images.  The main circular quilt image measures just over 2 ¾” wide and 2 ¾” tall.  The assembled quiltblock, including the die, measures 3 1/8” x 3 1/8”.  The assembled flower bouquet measures just under 2 ¼” wide and 2” tall.  The “Together is a beautiful place to be” sentiment measures 3” wide and 7/8” tall.
  • A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately, retailing for $13.  This collection includes a total of 4 dies.  3" square (quilt block), 2-3/8" x 1-7/8" (floral cluster), 7/8" x 3/4" (flower), 1/2" x 1/2" (leaves)

Easter-Alleluias-title

This collection of beautiful sentiments will help you bring the joyous message of Easter to your friends and loved ones through handmade cards and gifts.  The sentiments are joyful and exuberant, done in a stylish mix of fonts that will give your Easter cards a fresh new life, just like the Easter season itself!  There is a nice mix of larger and smaller sentiments, allowing you some mix and match options.  There are also a few accent pieces with which you can further embellish the sentiments.

The Details:

  • Easter Alleluias will be available for purchase on February 15th.
  • It will retail for $15.
  • Easter Alleluias contains a total of 12 images.  The large “He is Risen…” sentiment measures just over 2 1/8” wide and 1 ¼” tall.  The “Alleluia!” sentiment measures just under 3” wide and 1 ½” tall.  The “He is not here…” sentiment measures just over 1 ½” wide and 2 ¼” tall.  The sunburst image measures just under 1” wide and 3/8” tall.

Etched-Easter-Eggs-title

Etched-easter-eggs-dies

This set of detailed Easter eggs was inspired by the beautifully decorated eggs popular in Eastern Europe. Etched Easter Eggs features five elegant eggs and a variety of sentiments that can be mixed and matched for a wide array of meaningful messages. These sophisticated images would be equally gorgeous whether watercolored or embossed in glittering metallics. Pair this set with the previously released, coordinating Egg Die as well as the Etched Easter Eggs Die Collection for even more possibilities.

The Details:

  • Etched Easter Eggs will be available for purchase on February 15th.
  • It will retail for $15.
  • Etched Easter Eggs contains a total of 15 images.  The eggs measure 1 1/5” wide by 1 5/8” tall.  The script “Easter” sentiment measures just under 1” wide by just under 1/2” tall. The “He is risen” sentiment measures just over 1 1/2” wide by just over 1/4” tall.
  • A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately, retailing for $9.  This collection includes a total of 5 dies.  1-1/8" x 1-5/8" (individual egg)

Cover-plate-stitched-die

This new cover plate is inspired by a vintage vine quilting pattern.  This plate is actually a tad bit smaller than our standard cover plates so you will be matting it when you adhere it to an A2 card base.  This also does not do any interior "cutting".  It just adds the stitching line detail.  By just adding a sentiment to the interior frame portion you can have a quick and easy card.  But the stitching is also subtle enough that you can add stamped embellishments and focal points without it being too busy.

The Details:

  • Cover Plate: Stitched die will be available for purchase on February 15th.
  • It will retail for $16.
  • Cover Plate: Stitched die measures 4" x 5-1/4".

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Together Card

First up is a quilted card that took very little effort thanks to Betsy's ingenious die and stamp designs!

Quilt closeup

I die-cut the block from a few different colors of cardstock and selected pieces from each cut to creates a multi-color quilt block.  The pieces were stamped with the coordinating stamps from the stamp set.

Floral

The floral accents in this set are just stunning!  And easy to work with too!  After stamping and assembling I added a few dots with a white gel pen.

Sentiment

The sentiment, also from the set, is heat embossed with white filigree embossing powder, which really pops on the kraft background.

Down

I think this would be wonderful for a bridal shower, wedding or even anniversary!

Quilted Enjoy Card

The new Cover Plate: Stitched die is a bit different than the other Cover Plates we have released in the past.  It cuts the overall block just slightly smaller than an A2 card cover and it cuts a stitched design rather than shapes.  The detail in this practically steals the show!

Floral

I used the sweet floral cluster from Quilted: Spring on this project too, this time in shades of orange.

Down

"Enjoy" is embossed in the center using white filigree embossing powder.

He Is Risen Card

This card uses very few supplies to achieve a really pretty look, just a post-it note and some ink!

Masking

I marked my center point with a pencil and then just rotated the post-it on that point and inked after each rotation using a sponge dauber.  The colors are changed up a bit with Summer Sunrise on the bottom portion, Berry Sorbet on the sides and Orange Zest at the top.  You could even work in more colors than that if you wished!

Sentiment

After the masked background was done I heat embossed the beautiful sentiment from Easter Alleluias right in the center.

Thread

The bottom portion of the card is wrapped with gold thread and finished with a bow.

Down

This technique would work well with many of the sentiments from Betsy's new set!

Easter Egg Banner Card

Next up, another gorgeous easter greeting courtesy of Lizzie's new Etched Easter Eggs die set!  These dies are SO detailed you hardly need anything else added to your project!

Eggs

I die-cut all five of the egg designs from various pastel cardstocks and then strung them onto some crochet thread.

Side

I adhered the eggs onto the card front and then tied the ends of the string in place using holes punched in the card edges.

Sentiment

I added a simple little sentiment to the lower corner from Easter Alleluias.

Down

Whether you go bright and bold, or stick with pastels like I did here, you can't go wrong with how easy this card is to whip up!

Joyous Easter card

Of course I had to put Lizzie's Etched Easter Egg stamp set to good use as well!

Egg

I stamped one of the fabulous eggs onto white cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers.  A banner made from Limeade Ice cardstock was heat embossed with a sentiment from the set.

Down

A block of Sheer Basics polka-dotted vellum adorns the top of this card.  Just under the edge of the vellum I added the word "Easter" with the Block Alphabet dies.

Now, just take a look at what some of the other gals have done with these amazing products!

Please, please Spring hurry up! Maybe Spring will come sooner in the form of a PTI package:) Thanks for all your beautiful designs and inspiration, ladies.

Easter is always a special time of year for me! Every few years, my birthday is on Easter, and it also means Spring is HERE! (although I have seen snow on a chilly Easter morning) Spring flowers – daffodils, crocuses, dewdrops, tulips, all so beautiful starting to bloom in bright colors. Baltimore plants tons of daffodils all over the city and it just brings a smile to my face when I am driving around and see the bright yellow flowers blooming like crazy. It means the beginning of baseball season here in Baltimore too! (Go O’s!) Well I’ve digressed dreaming of spring – looking forward to the new floral stamps and dies too!

I do love spring. We are getting a taste of spring-like weather in Utah. The temps are in the 60’s which is very unusual for February. Lots of reasons to create springtime cards. I really like Nichole’s Quilted Together card. The technique for the sunburst is very clever on the He Is Risen card. I also like Heather’s watercolor look for the Easter eggs on her scrapbook page. Great ideas!

    Hi Nichole,

You have me on pins and needles with this release! I love when you bring such cuties, which let’s face it is ALWAYS, and then I cringe when I spend the money, but when the package arrives I forget about it and squeal as a schoolgirl! It is just as giving birth, when you deliver you swear that no more are on the way and by the third one you ask yourself ,how did this happen? Anyhow LOVED your work and I am preparing to spend an obscene amount of money in your company, can I at least invest in it to recoup?

    Criños,

The first day I can throw open the doors and windows, give the place a good clean (including my craft room – woohoo!), feels invigorating. These products evoke all of these feelings and with our current frigid temps, seeing that delicious new cover plate is a joy.
