May I ask you can these letters be wiped off with baby wipes and reused like other stamps. I think this is a really fun thing. Thanks

This is a hoot. Back in 1986 or so I bought some unmounted rubber from Inkadinkadoo and I had to mount them using bottle caps! There were no acrylic blocks, no eZ mount and especially no clear stamps. Funny we’ve come such a long way yet occasionally go back to where we came from.

I loved seeing this on a tutorial. Not long ago, I did a tutorial for our local stamp club, showing them how to use dies to make their own foam stamps. I didn’t know about the adhesive-backed foam…which is a great idea! I just purchased “fun foam” from Michael’s and cut every die I had out of it! I then glued the stamps to thicker fun foam, creating a block.
Everyone had a lot of fun using their dies as stamps! They aren’t detailed but they make neat backgrounds, borders and can be fun for kids too, as Heather mentioned in her video! You just have to remember that if the stamp you are using is a letter or number, to turn it upside down before you stamp it, so that your stamped image reads correctly!

Heather, I always enjoy your presentations and thanks for sharing this on Make it Monday. Great idea and I can’t wait to get some fun foam and try this out. It will add more uses for those dies that we already have plus it’s a great way to add dimension to the die cuts…. I was thinking I could stamp the image in a soft gray and then glue the die cut on top making the stamped image look like a shadow. Off to play!!!!

Mascots represent the spirit of a school, which is an enduring element for any school to keep the morale of the team high. A mascot is an emblem that gives recognition to anyone associated with the team.
