Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

Postmarked Tree Card
I am head over heels in love with Layered Postmarks: Holiday and could hardly wait to ink up the tree specifically.  It has such a wonderful classic shape to it, with almost a primitive type style.

Focal
To create my focal point, I started by punching twenty 3/4" squares from Vintage Cream cardstock.  I swiped each of them with Tea Dye Duo Chamomile ink.  I then adhered all of them together onto another piece of Vintage Cream cardstock.  I stamped the solid tree image in Ripe Avocado and then the postmark overlay in Pinefeather.

Postage
I die-cut Vintage Cream cardstock with the Postage die and stamped it with various images from Postmarks using Pure Poppy & Ripe Avocado inks.  I stamped the holiday cancellation image from Postmarks with True Black ink.

Down
I added the "Must arrive by December 24th" from Santa Stationery image to the lower left corner with Pure Poppy ink.  I adhered the focal point to a Classic Kraft card base, swiped with a Vintage cream ink pad.  Finally, I wrapped a bit of Pure Poppy Baker's Twine around the card front and finished it with a bow.

Down
For my next project I decided to create a beautiful tri-fold card using Beautiful Blessings: Holiday & Nativity Silhouettes.

Sentiment
For the cover, I cut a rectangular window with a craft knife & ruler.  I stamped the palm trees with Soft Stone ink and the figures & stars with Ocean Tides (all images from Nativity Silhouettes & Additions).  I heat embossed the sentiment onto a block of clear cardstock using Silver Filigree Embossing Powder, moving constantly as to not warp the clear cardstock too much.

Half open
The clear cardstock was adhered to the back of the rectangular opening using Scor-tape.

First flap open
The top edge of the card is watercolored with a bit of Ocean Tides ink refill.

Inside of front cover
I cut a frame to cover up my adhesive on the back of the front cover, using Ocean Tides cardstock.

Inside
When all of the panels are opened, this interior sentiment & images is featured.  The sentiment is from Beautiful Blessings: Holiday, stamped in Ocean Tides.  The angels are from Nativity Silhouettes and stamped in Soft Stone.

Back
The base of the card is created with two A2 Rustic White cards, adhered together.  With special cards like this, its all about the details.  As you can see here, I stamped the figures & trees to wrap all the way around to the back.

Unspeakable Gift card
My next project using Beautiful Blessings: Holiday is more modern in style.  I stamped Scarlet Jewel cardstock with Background Basics: Super Stripes using Scarlet Jewel ink.

Sentiment
I used the angle of the stripes on the background to adhere the sentiment strip, stamped with Scarlet Jewel ink onto Autumn Rose cardstock.

Down
The touching manger scene depicted in the previously released Star of Wonder image was stamped in Scarlet Jewel ink onto Vintage Cream cardstock.  Both of the layers of the medallion were die-cut with the Limitless Layers 1.75" Circle dies.  Everything was adhered to an Autumn Rose card base.

Peace Love Joy Card
I used the new Mistletoe & Holly dies to create this bright & bold holiday card.

Mistletoe
I die-cut the mistletoe shape from Classic Kraft cardstock and then impressed the die-shape several times to fill the rest of the block, using the proper impression plate sandwich with the die rather than the cutting sandwich.  I adhered the Classic Kraft cardstock to a Vintage Cream block and stamped the mistletoe image with Simply Chartreuse ink.  I stitched a few Raspberry Fizz buttons into place using floss & a needle.

Sentiment
I also cut away a strip from the Classic Kraft layer to allow room for the sentiment.  These words are from Beautiful Blessings: Holiday and stamped in Raspberry Fizz ink, with Peace and Joy being stamped off once first.

Down
The edge of the Classic Kraft block was swiped with Vintage Cream ink to help soften it.  It was then adhered onto a Raspberry Fizz card base.

Tis the Season card
This next card uses the popular previously released stamp set, Bells & Boughs.  Now that we are introducing the Bells & Boughs Bloomers dies, it is even easier to create beautifully layered focal points.

Blooms
I stamped the boughs in Ripe Avocado and added a few swipes of YG95 Copic Marker on top of them.  I die-cut the bells from Gold Shimmer cardstock and heat embossed them with Gold Filigree Embossing Powder.  The poinsettia shapes were die-cut from Pure Poppy cardstock and stamped with the coordinating images in Pure Poppy.  A few small rhinestones were added to their centers.

Sentiment
I added this sentiment from Think Big Favorites #21 in Dark Chocolate ink.  Since the sentiments in this set are larger versions of the originals found in Bells & Boughs, they are a perfect complement to the images.

Down
I notched the corners of the white card front with a circle punch and adhered it to a Simply Chartreuse card base.

You Can Do It Card
I have always loved the artistic look to the flowers in Bells & Boughs and decided to use them in a versatile year-round application.

Flowers
I die-cut white cardstock with the Bells & Boughs Bloomers dies and the leaves from the Rosie Posie die collection.  The leaves were stamped with New Leaf, and the flowers in Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores & Plum Pudding.  flicks of color were added to the centers of everything with Copic markers.  I added rhinestones to the centers of the flowers and finished the arrangement with a few pearl stick pins.

Sentiment
I heat embossed this sentiment from Over Under Easy in the lower corner of the Royal Velvet card front using White Filigree Embossing Powder.

Tri-star birthday card
With this happy birthday card I wanted to show how the new Layered Postmarks: Holiday set can be used for year-round projects.

Stars closeup
I stamped the stars onto Ocean Tides, Aqua Mist & Limeade Ice cardstocks.  I stamped the stars in the same color as the cardstock they were added to and then used a shade darker for the postmarks overlay.  I trimmed the layers so that they stars stair-stepped.

Sentiment
I added the sentiment three times on the edge of the card using Soft Stone & Charcoal Palette inks.

Down
Everything was adhered to a white card base.

Happy Couple Card
Heart-2-Heart #9 is the perfect set to keep on hand for quick and easy wedding cards & tags.

Focal
Here, I die-cut the cake from white cardstock and stamped the coordinating image in Melon Berry ink.  I stamped the small heart on a scrap of cardstock with Aqua Mist ink and cut it out by hand.  I added the small flower from Love Lives Here in Hawaiian Shores ink.  The doves were stamped in Berry Sorbet ink and cut out & mounted on foam tape.

Border
I used the small heart banner to create a scalloped border using Berry Sorbet ink on Sweet Blush cardstock.  I trimmed the edge under the border with scissors and layered it over Melon Berry Striped paper.

Down
Everything was mounted onto an Aqua Mist card base.

I don’t think I can decide which one I like best – each card sample that you did “talks” to me in a different way! I do always love being able to “multi-purpose” a stamp or die set, so that is probably my favorite idea from all the examples. Thanks Nichole! Your cards rock!
