Any summer camp where I don’t have to deal with the Tennessee sun and humidity is a summer camp for me. I never went as a kid because I chose to hang out with my grandparents and go fishing with my grandfather and work with him in his garden during the summer. Though I probably missed out on lots of fun, the memories of being with my grandparents all summer every summer are unforgettable. Thanks for the opportunity to attend this camp..it sounds really cool!

A summer camp for ME would be just heavenly! Yes, during the summer I very much cater to my kids and their wants during their time off. So if I were lucky enough to win a spot, I’d lock the door to my scrap space and either bargain with a neighbor to watch my kids or let the kids watch WAY too much TV. It would be so worth it to get a jolt of inspiration for my own creativity! Thanks for the chance!

When I was kid, the only over-night camp I went to was a Girl Scout horse back riding camp. I got SO homesick, I ended up in the nurse’s office. When the nurse left the room, I used her phone to call my mom to see if she’d come & pick me up. This was totally against the rules & I got in trouble…
I don’t think I’d get homesick at an over-night camp now! 🙂 LOL

Have always loved summer camp, brings back so many memories, camping in those tents with 5 other girls, the bugs, campfires, s’amores, swimming canoing, and getting homesick for mom! But oh so many good times, now as I have gotten older and can’t sleep on the ground in a sleeping bag anymore, card camp is way more up my alley, me the computer, cup of coffee, some music, my dog for company and away we go!!! Some learning , relaxing and hopefully the making of some new friends and learning lots of new ideas!!!
Thanks for the chance and also for the flashback of memories.

Agh, summer camp was torture for me. I am sure it had something to do with my Mom being a counselor one year. That made me a super star that year! I am sure Mom had the best intentions for me {parents that volunteered got a week free for their child} but I did not enjoy seeing my underpants high in the trees on my way back from canoeing!

Summer camp brings up conflicting feelings for me. I was always sad to be away from home and it took a while for me to adjust, but I sure loved making all those neat arts and crafts projects. This camp is the best of all worlds I can stay at home and all we do is crafts! Thanks for the chance to win. This is what I need to jump start my mojo.
