Welcome back to another Make It Monday Challenge and Video today. We're here to try our best to make your Monday a wee bit more happier and creative than it would be normally. Today, our video is by Heather Nichols. She's challenging us all to raid the general craft closet at your house to find some fun foam. You'd be surprised by the uses it can have in your stamping studio!
Here are some still shots of the project today:
If you are joining along this week, here are the details concerning the Make It Monday Challenge.
–A new Make It Monday Challenge & video will go up every Monday morning at 9am EST.
–Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product of some kind as fun foam in some way in order to qualify.
–Post your project on your blog, in your gallery or on any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).
–Add your link to our —>InLinkz List<—
–You will have until 7am, Monday, March 7st, to add your link to the list to be eligible to win. And you can enter as many times as you like.
–We will be tweeting and posting on our Facebook page every night (between 5-9pm EST) highlighting a Featured Project. These tweets/Facebook postings will just be a shout-out regarding projects that caught our eye. The tweets/Facebook postings no longer have any special merit regarding the actual contest.
–One randomly selected winner will be chosen from ALL the entries on Monday, March 7, after 7am. The winner will be posted here on this blog post, on Twitter and Facebook. The randomly selected winner will get to select a FREE Papertrey stamp set of their choice!
Good luck to everyone and we look forward to seeing your projects!
EDITED TO ADD THE RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNER:

Great technique and lovely card!
Great technique. I never thought to stamp with fun foam although I’ve die cut with it. Beautiful card.
I LOVE the idea!! I can’t wait to try it. I never thought to make my own stamps with the dies. THANKS for sharing your bright idea. I have started to love Mondays!
What fun! And yes, I am SURE I have fun foam in my kids supplies. Can’t wait to see the projects.
What a great idea, how fun will this be! I can’t wait to get started, gotta go get some of that foam. Thank you so much. Boy do I love this MakeIt Monday!!

super! Gotta get some fun foam now.
Good idea! And I love the pretty, springy colors.
Fabulous idea! Your card is so pretty and I LOVE the color combination. You also have a very nice voice. TFS
This is such a great idea – many thanks for sharing! Make It Mondays are a great way to start the week. Next trip to Michaels – it’s “fun foam”, just like I needed one more thing to add to a ongoing list.
Love this idea! I forgot today was Monday so I squealed with delight when I logged on and saw the video. thanks for making my day!
Oh boy! Now I need fun foam! My kids are grown and gone and fun foam is not anywhere to be found-even after all the VBS I’ve done recently!! Love your card and your ideas, Heather.
Stamping with fun foam – who would have thought. I’ll have to see if there is any lurking in the craft closet. I love Make It Mondays!
Beautiful!

Very fun, but alas my 6-month old does not have fun foam for me to steal. 🙂
This challenge really makes me happy. I’ve been waiting to use my foam sheets and now I have the inspiration. Love, love, love…
I love your Make it Mondays! I am sure I have some leftover fun foam around.
Make it Mondays are the ONLY good thing about monddays! I love your ideas and look forward to each week. 🙂 I wish I had a die cutting machine to try this technique out.
I have nothing original to say! I watched Heather STAMP with the fun foam and thought “Am I the only person that didn’t know this was possible?” I too LOVE Make it Mondays!!
What a fantastic idea. Can’t wait to try it out. Great card and lovely colours.
Great idea and use of the rule of threes.
Would it be possible to have the video a bit out from the project? It is difficult at times to see what you are doing because only 1/2 of the project is visible. Just an FYI not a critique. Thank you. :o)
What a nice surprise it was seeing Heather use foam as a stamp! It looks easy and seems like fun to try. Thanks for the video; it really helps to understand visually.
Amazing that the doily dies can make even fun foam look elegant?!!! Truly AMAZING!!!
What a great video! I am loving this Monday series, great tips and ideas. I can’t wait to try this! Thankyou.
Thank you for the continual inspiration ;-))
Oh my gosh..this is such a forgotten way! I am SO happy you shared it! I’ve used foam a few times and love the texture it gives…but this is certainly the prettiest way I’ve seen it used!!!
I have used fun foam for cutting dies with and have used it to reverse a stamp with but never put 2 & 2 together to stamp with a die cut piece of foam! Great idea! Thanks for sharing
Love the idea of using fun foam to stamp images – and for a new use for all that fun foam in my kids’ craft drawer! Thanks, Heather. I had to try this last night after viewing the video (I’ve posted my creation on my blog)! Thanks so much for continuing to inspire me.
Oh have only just watched Heather and after I send this, am off on a hunt for my foam. I always seemed to buy it because of the lovely colours but never used it. Now with the addition of a die cut machine to my craft life and today’s video, I’m off to a whole new world of shapes and new “stamps”.
Thanks girls.
I’m feeling a little silly but I can’t seem to find Papertrey Ink on Facebook. I found one page but it’s got 2 posts on it and that’s it. Can you help me out? Thanks!
Hi Heather

Love this challenge. I used foam simply to provide some dimension to my wedding invitation…I hope that counts!
Thanks again
Wendy
Beautiful card! TFS 😀
I can think of so many shapes that I could cut out of fun foam and create a shadow stamp to complement my line art images. What a great reminder of the veratility of the products I buy from PTI. Thank you so much Heather!
Make it Monday are the ONLY benefit of monddays! I really like your opinions and look ahead to per weeks time. 🙂 I wish I had a die reducing device to try this strategy out.
The stuff you are writing blows out my mind.
