We have received such an enthusiastic response from all of you regarding our new cardstock! I am so thrilled that you all are as excited as we are. Continuing on with our Perfect Match line of products, today I will be focusing on our NEW ink!
Many of you are already familiar with the Palette Hybrid Ink pads that we carry. We have worked extensively with the manufacturer to bring you the same quality ink in Papertrey’s exclusive colors!
A little about Palette Hybrid Inks.
They aren’t classified as a "dye" or "pigment" ink, because they have features from BOTH categories. Which is one of the reasons they are among my favorites! It basically eliminates the need to ask yourself if you are using the appropriate ink for your stamping surface. Pretty much the only thing you can’t do is heat emboss with it. (It will not stay wet enough to cling successfully to the powder)
Palette works on pretty much everything!
It is a non-solvent ink so it doesn’t have any bad smells associated with it. It dries instantly on paper and porous surfaces, but requires just a slight heat-set on glossy surfaces or fabrics (think baby onesies!). I just LOVE this stuff!
It is also acid-free, archival and non-fading.
So it is perfect for scrapbook applications. Another thing I love about it is the vividness of the color it produces. A perfect example of this can be found with lighter colors. Sometimes I struggle with lighter dye inks being vivid enough to truly be useful. I own several dye-based yellows & baby pinks that hardly show up, even on white cardstock.
With Palette inks, no matter how light the color, the vibrancy remains very strong.
If you have never tried Palette ink before, I would highly recommend at least trying it once to see how you like it. The first impressions I had when I first tried it were very good. Palette ink provides really good coverage on clear stamps. They require a light touch when inking. I have found several light taps to be the perfect inking method.
I have noticed when first stamping the image, it can appear somewhat blotchy. Here is a photo depicting an image freshly stamped with Spring Moss Hybrid ink.
This is an "after" photo. As the ink dries on the paper, you can see the color absorb and even out. It is almost like magic! I have tried to capture the transformation here so you will not be alarmed the very first time you ink up!
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………
The actually ink pad will be exactly the same as the original Palette Ink pads.
The only difference being the artwork on the lid. This is an example of the design that will be silk-screened on the lid of the ink pads in a similar color to the ink itself. ( I don’t have a finished ink pad to show you because they are in a truck en route to our warehouse!)
One thing I learned recently was that you can use the lid as a handle! If you look carefully at the back of the ink pad, you will notice a groove following the inside edge of the lip.
The lid fits perfectly in this groove.
Once you have done that, you can have a great hand-hold to ink up a large stamp or do some direct to paper distressing. Notice the finger grips built into the side, too. It’s such a comfortable ink pad to hold.
So how about the price? $6 for a full-size ink pad and $4 for the ink refill. We will not be offering the small ink cubes, at least in the beginning, but perhaps if we get enough requests, it might be something we could do in the future.
So, do you want to be one of the first stampers to experience our new ink colors?
Tell us which characteristic(s) of Palette ink color intrigue you the most in the comments section of this post. I will pick one lucky winner who will receive one Palette ink pad in each of the new colors, Aqua Mist & Spring Moss. (two ink pads total) The contest will close tomorrow (02/09/08) at 12pm (EST). The winner will be announced that evening.
Tomorrow I will be telling you all about our NEW fabulous ribbon! You will not want to miss all of the luxurious details! Our ribbon is nothing short of the best and I’m anxious to tell you why! See you tomorrow!
Not only do I love that these will match the new cardstock and ribbon, but having used the Palette inks before, they are truly my favorite because of the crisp image they give. I’m so glad to see them in new fresh colors!
I really love the Pallette ink and use it all of the time. I most like that it is a mix between dye and pigment and that it is archival. SO happy to see you used it to make your great new colors!
The best feature of the ink pads is that they perfectly match the PTI cardstock and ribbons. I can’t wait to try them!
Hugs,
Colleen
I am really intrigued by the fact that they inks are sort of a middle of the road between pigment and dye. This seems especialyl exciting since I’m often looking for more coverage than your standard SU classic pad, for example, but really dont’ like to work w/ messier “pigment/craft” inks. The handle feature looks way cool as well since I’m often using bigger background stamps. I can’t wait to own everything you’ve shown us so far…!!!!
Very exciting! I like that it is a hybrid ink. I only have black, but I like it, and can’t wait to get your colors!
I am already using Palette inks that I bought from your store so now I’m excited that there will be matching ink and c/s. I love the tip about the handle – never would have noticed. Again, you never cease to amaze me!
I already love Palette ink because it is waterproof. I do lots of water coloring and I love using the black. I have few colors but cannot wait to get more!
I have several of the palette ink pads and love them, so am thrilled you will have them to match the cardstock, wow, you have outdone yourself, congratulations…..
I’ve tried out the Palette Noir and I love it! What intrigues me is that the lighter colors will be just as vibrant. I also have problems with my lighter pinks/yellows showing up on paper. Can’t wait to try them out!!!
So Cool! I’ve never tried Hybrid ink before and can’t wait to try it!
I love the fact that the vibrancy will remain strong, even if it’s a lighter color – that is very appealing. I can’t wait to try these inkpads. And what a great price!
I love that they will match the card stock and the ribbon, too. I haven’t used palette ink pads before and anxious to give them a try.
I love how the ink “magically” absorbed to make a clean image. I think I will need to try it!!!
I love how the ink “magically” absorbed to make a clean image. I think I will need to try it!!!
I don’t own one of the light colors of the Palette ink pads (though I love the dark ones), so I’m really excited to hear that the light colors are vibrant, yet soft. Can’t wait to see the PaperTrey colors 🙂
Thanks for the tips on using the ink container…I had no idea. The best thing about the ink is it will match your color line “perfect match” but still have the great Palette quality. Yep, it does keep getting better and better! Can’t wait for more!!!!
This is so exciting. I haven’t tried the Palette pads before but I’ve heard great things about them. I’m loving that you are having these to match the cardstock and I can’t wait to try them out.
I love the image clarity the Palette Inks provide so can hardly wait to try these new colours!
I like the fact that they have both elements of dye and pigment, and can be used on so many different types of surfaces. I am SUPER excited that you will have colors that will match your new cs, ribbon, etc. Papertrey is amazing!!! Mwah!!
OMG!!! Your new inks are custom Palette Hybrid colors??? That’s awesome… I love how quickly they dry and are truly waterproof and work great with Copics too. Can’t wait to add them to my Palette collection!
I am slowly but surely collecting all of the Palette colors and there are several reasons. First, they provide the vibrant, fade resistent coverage of a pigment ink while they have the dry time of a dye ink. Second, when used with acryllic stamps, you receive the same crisp image that you expect from quality rubber stamps. Third, they will work on any surface that I have tried from paper to transparencies. And now, the cherry on top of it all, they will coordinate with PTI new colored CS and ribbon. Pure bliss! Thanks for this awesome opportunity!
I can’t wait to play with it. I have never used the hybrid ink before but it sounds like the best of both worlds. The great coverage of a craft ink with the quick drying of a classic ink. I can’t wait!!!!!
This is so exciting! I really love that you are having the ink pads to match the cardstock. Looking forward to trying them out.
This is so exciting!! I have always loved Palette inks & now that I will be able to buy them in an exact match to the new cardstock is an absolute dream!! I like that you will be releasing 2 each month, that way I can easily build up my collection month by month!!
I love the vibrancy of the colors, and that it is waterproof…and gives a great impression. I’m so excited about your new colors! HOW FUN!!! I can’t wait…:D
Have not ever tried your Palette inks but am excited about the idea of stamping on so many different surfaces without worrying about whether I’m using the correct ink for my projects.
I’ll admit, I have never worked with Palette Hybrid before although I have heard it is good and these colors are SOOOOO yummy that they will be the first ones I want to buy using this hybrid ink. Just the fact that it is so vibrant excites me.
I think it’s wonderful that the paper, ink
and ribbon will all match. What a wonderful
idea…no more struggling to find embellies
that “go together”. I find it intriguing
that the ink is a hybrid…both dye and
pigment. Can’t wait to see the new colors
IRL.
How fun!! I love that light colors will still be deep and vibrant – can’t wait to see it IRL!! :o)
Well, of course I love the fact that it will match everything!! I am a match freak so this is just fabulous!!
I love the quality of the palette inks in the dark colors, so will be very excited to tey them in colors to match the card stock! Can’t wait to try them all!
I LOVE Palette inks! They give a bright crisp image and actually distress very well also. I love that they are “dual”..meaning both dye and pigment. These are among my favorite ink pads.
Love the way it is absorbed into the paper and has a nice even finish. Beautiful colors!!
I have about 10 or so Palette’s already and truly love them so I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that yours are by the same manufacturer. I was commenting on a friends blog today (Hi Becky!) that I wondered if you would tell us what Palette colors the cardstock would match. So this is very very welcome news indeed.
Wow!!!! I have two palette ink pads, i love their vivid colors and crisp images.Time to buy the papertrey colors!!
I have one Palette ink pad, which I purchased in my search for the perfect black ink, and I like it. It looks lonely without other colors to keep it company, but I don’t want to buy other colors unless I know they match something. Looks like you are solving that problem!
It just keeps getting better! I love Palette inks and have switched completly since learning about these wonderful inks on your blog. The quality, color and ease of use are among what I like best. Looking forward to buying the PTI line of these high quality inks!
Thanks, Karen U
Hi Nichole,
I’m already a fan of the Palette inks, their multi-usability and consistent vibrancy are two of the reasons I love working with them. It will be great to have them in “your” colors.
I’m always a sucker for new things. I haven’t tried a hybrid ink yet. I’d love to see the results for myself.
Leslie
The details that excite me about your new ink pads are of course the richness of the colors, and the design of the container make using them easy!
I want one so bad as you can’t get them around where I live. I like it because its in the middle and knowing you Nicole its top notch. I love blue and green.
I have never tried these inks. The fact that you can use it on anything is really cool. I am going to have to get a few colors and play with them. I am so excited about all of your announcements. This is so fun!
I’m really excited about the packaging of the new inks. Of course color and quality are important factors but having a pad that is easy to maneuver is really important too. No more boxy, clumsy inkpads!
Love the new colors…I can just imagine a polka dots of the opposite colors on the new cardstock. Love the fact that it works so well on different surfaces, dries immediately and does not have an odor. Aqua Mist reminds me of the sea and Spring Moss sounds so fresh like the first growth of spring.
I love the colors and the fact its in between dye and pigment. I hope I win as I don’t have any of these ink pads.
I have never used these ink’s before so I think that is what intrigues me most. They sound fabulous!
The versatility of Pallette inks is great! I’m so excited to see them in custom colors!!!
I’ve only tried the noir palette ink but I love the vibrant and clean line it leaves.
This is so exciting!
I haven’t tried the hybrid ink before, but am excited to try them out. Especially, the light colors. I’ve been frustrated in the past with light ink.
I love the shape of the inks and am happy you are getting your own colors, like the moss. I can’t wait to check them out!
I really like Palette ink pads for their coverage and consistancy inking. They are fabulous for stamping on cloth!
And I love the tip about the handle!!!
I like the colour matches the cardstock and ribbon exactly and that I don’t have to worry about using the right type of ink, especially since I have just started stamping. =>
Wonderful design. I love the lid idea and finger holds. I always have problems inking a large background stamp without dropping the ink pad and making a mess everywhere! I’ll have to try this out. Wonderful!!!
I have never used the palette ink pads, but I am very interested in the “waterproofness” of them and the fact that the light colors are so vivid. Can’t wait to try them!!!
Two things caught my eye as I read about your new inks…The example of how the ink absorbed and evened out was great…plus I like the idea of using one ink for all projects instead of having to wonder if you have the “right” ink. I’m really excited about your new products….Yea You!!!!!
Palette inks are great! I LOVE the vibrant color, it is non-smearing, and you can use alcohol markers or colored pencils without smearing the ink all over the place! I’m soo stinkin excited for your new colors! As much as I love the ink…I have always felt that they lack some much loved colors….I think you will fill in the missing colors perfectly! Great addition to the store!
I absolutely love the few Palette inks that I have, so I’m overjoyed that you’ll be making them available in your new yummy colors.
I love good ink recommendations for clear stamps…I will have to try the Palette’s even if I don’t win! Congrats Nichole!
I am really interested in trying the hybrid inks–I have only used dye and pigment before, I am excited to try the hybrid!
I have yet to try Palette. How cool the lid can be a handle too!! THAT is awesome!!! Very exciting! I love how it’s in between both dye and pigment. I am looking forward to trying Palette. TFS!
What’s left to say? Except that I like EVERYTHING I’m reading about Palette inks and I’m looking forward to trying them. They sound great!
I like that you can use the ink pads to stamp on most anything. I can never remember what ink works on what. Now I don’t have to think….I think?
How exciting. I have the pallette ink in a couple colors, can’t wait to see the vibrancy of the new PI colors.
Michelle T.
I’ve been intrigued by this ink pad and being new to the acrylic stamps, I think that being as bright as a pigment ink and quick drying like a dye ink sounds like the perfect blend! Matching with cardstock & ribbon is a bonus too:-)
I’ve been intrigued by this ink pad and being new to the acrylic stamps, I think that being as bright as a pigment ink and quick drying like a dye ink sounds like the perfect blend! Matching with cardstock & ribbon is a bonus too:-)
I have the black I got from PTI and really like it. I guess what “Intriges” (excite to interest or curiosity) me, is to see the colors first hand stamped by me on some PTI and SU cardstock… the Aqua Mist sounds like a must have… Thanks so much for all you do….
Faith
I have never tried the hybrid inkpads before and I cannot wait to give it a go, I love the fact that the colors stamp so even and vibrant in your picture!
I am so excited that your inkpads are being made by Palette inks!! Great ink pads!!
Pam
I have been needing to expand my collection of inks, and what better to expand w/ than the new Palette inks! YAHOO!!!
i’m with you on the part about the lightness of other inks…i, too, want vividness in my color and i’m so excited about this! I scrapbook as well so this’ll be great for stamping on glossy photos. I can’t wait!!!
Oooo! So excited that you worked with Palette inks! I LOVE these ink pads! What I really like abut them is that you can use the ink on so many surfaces!
I recently purchased m first Palette ink pad and love it. But I can’t wait to get the PTI colors! I never knew about using the cover as a handle – definitely have to try that out.
I love that they can be used on Clothes! I tried iron ons for onsies and they didn’t stick to the onsies! so I was very happy to learn about these ink pads!
I’m very looking forward to getting these ink.
I tried Noir Black, and I love it.
These new colors are so pretty!
I love how the lid fits onto the inkpad and the finger grips on the inkpad! Thanks for designing that part into the inkpad. They’re the coolest thing ever! I had numerous occasions where the inkpad slips from my fingers and this would just solve that problem!
I think it sounds great that even the lighter colors will show up really well! I too have had trouble with softer colors not being bold enough to be seen. I haven’t tried Palette ink pads yet but I will be sure to order some now! ~~Pam
I love that you can stamp on anything! Beautiful colors!
I love that your coming out with these color sets. So cool that you are getting Palette custom colors.
I love the fact that you can use it on pretty much every type of paper without having to worry if it’ll work on it (because it will!).
I have never used Palette stamp pads before, but it looks like is gives a nice sharp image. Can’t wait to try them!
I love the fact that it perfectly matches the cardstock and ribbon!
I’m so excited about your new yummy colors and looking forward to some new ones each month. I like ink pads that leave a sharp clear image, so I’m looking forward to using these.
I was happy to see that it is so versatile, that you can do virtually anything with it except heat emboss. I’ll definately be adding these to my collection.
I haven’t tried Palette inks yet, but yours will sway me. I love the fact that your inks will coordinate with your papers and ribbons. I can’t wait to give them a try.
Well, I can’t pass by anything that “matches” so you’ve got me there! I also love that you can use the lid as a handle! Great! Waterproof–Yes! Thanks!
I am most intrigued by the fact that it has aspects of both the pigment and dye inks. It sounds like it will be perfect for what I do. I can’t wait to get a hold of some of these inks! The vibrancy of the colors is also something that sounds great. I’ve never used these inks, but it sure sounds like I’ve gotta have these now!!!!
Wow, this is exciting! I have used the Palette Hybrid inks but only have Noir and Umber. I’m excited to get my hands on some colors!!!!
I love Palette hybrid inks!!! What a great choice you made! I love that they are a mix of the dye and pigment, not one or the other. So versatile!
Oooo, I love these pads. The hybrid ink is the perfect solution. No more need to have more than one ink pad in the same color! Love it!! *Ü*
I love Palette Ink and use it all the time. It dries fast and the color is true. I like the design of the lid, it fits perfectly.
Wow…I didn’t know that about the handle. Thanks! I love these inks, and it’s so cool that you’ll carry them in your own colors!!
I love the fact that its so versatile!
I just can’t wait to get all of the Perfect Match Collections!
Awesome stuff!
OOh, I think the Aqua Mist is going to be one of my very favorite ones…I can see myself buying up these as quickly as possible! And the Pallette ink being so versatile REALLY appeals to me as a new stamper. 🙂
I love the coverage that pigment inks give but the crispness of a dye ink so to have an ink that does both is great. I haven’t tried Palette yet (had trouble locating them in Europe) but will be trying it out as I am a match freak (strong word but my paper craft friends would agree) so love that I’ll be able to buy complete sets.
I love how the inks are waterproof and can’t wait for new colors! So pretty!
I’ve never used Palette inks but they sound awesome and I totally love your new colors!!! Especially the Aquamist.
Love how everything matches! So Fun!!
Thanks to PTI, I purchased several of the Palette hybrid inks and I LOVE them!! When in doubt, I reach for my hybrid ink. I was planning on buying both of the new colors of cardstock and I am so thrilled you will be offering matching ink! How easy is that?!?!
Before the introduction to PTI, I had not used the Pallette inks before … I love them now!
Some of the colors that I have purchased have been a bit suprising in their hue. I think your color choices which be exactly what I am looking for!
Thanks,
Kimberly
Fantastic !!! I don’t always remember which “ink pad” your supposed use but it is generally a dye pad for me. To have both in one pad is great. I haven’t seen the coloured Palette pads here in the UK.
Your new colours will look great.
Happy Crafting,
K.
I would be interested in seeing how vivid the colour is. It’s great that that it will be waterproof too.
Color coordination as I know your cardstock and ribbons will be first class products
It’s very cool that the lid fits onto the underside for easier handling. Great concept. I like the fact that the colors all “match”. Love the colors! Wishing to try these inks out.
I haven’t tried any of the palette inks, but everything you have described about them has peaked my interest. Can’t wait to try them.
Wow I love that you dont have to stink up the room when you stamp with these inks!!
I have never used Palette inks, but now am thinking that I am going to need to! I never realized that you could achieve the vibrancy with the lighter colors…that sounds REALLY good esp. since I have a baby girl and would love to use softer colors more.
I am loving knowing that everyday when I wake up there will be a new little surprise here…it’s so much fun! Thank you! smiles…
I never tried the palette inkpads before, but I would love to try. I like that it’s an hybrid ink, and I simply love the fact that you have matching cardstock and ribbon to go with it!
Exclusive colors — aqua will always be my favorite!! That is what I LOVE most about the new Papertrey inks!! yeeehaa!!!
I’m excited about the Tiffany Blue color… my daughter is using that color as accents for her upcoming wedding and its very hard to find! I will be ordering ribbon and the stamp pad asap!!!
Wow! These ink look really good. Haven’t tried them yet, but will definately be looking for them in our stores down here…
Awsome!! My favorite aspect is the fact that it can be used for all surfaces. No decision about which ink will work best!
i thinc i lice the fact that it evins owt as it driz i cant wat more things to get and tri owt yayaya:)
I love the idea of the grooved sides, at the moment i struggle with my regular ink pad. And I would also like to thank you for pricing them so resonably!
I love my Palette inks. I think I’m most intrigued by the color matching with your new cardstock and ribbon… and whatever else you have up your sleeve!
I love the fact that they will co-ordinate with the paper and ribbon!
I’m so excited to see this ink. It has always been confusing to me as to what ink to use. This solves my problem! :o) Love that they match the paper & ribbon. Can’t wait to try them out.
I have a few ink pads and like the quality of color they produce plus the fact that I can watercolor using the Black for a lined image.
I have tried the pallette ink before, and what interested me was the fact that it was a hybrid. I am now excited to see the colors in person. How exciting!
Love the names and the colors are so fresh, so exciting looking, even on line. The pad looks comfortable in your hand- SU pads are big for me to hold. I, too, appreciate the mix of permanent/dye inks. The SU craft inks get on me and everything else when I use them, but, I love to emboss.
Waiting to try them. Thank you!
I just used Palette Ink for the first yesterday. The coverage and color density are beautiful. Love the waterproof and scrapbook safe qualities best.
I have been intrigued with this ink before when you have talked about it and what intrigues me the most is it being archival safe, yet still being able to use it on everything and aqua mist and spring moss – what lovely names and colours – can’t wait!!
I am most excited that the colors will be an exact match! Can’t tell you many times I go through my markers and stamp pads looking for a color to coordinate with my project. I can’t wait to have ALL of the new stuff.
Justine
I am really intrigued to see if I like these hybrid inks as much as I loved the fluid chalk inks – plus these are waterproof?!
I can’t wait to try Palette Ink!
My black pad is the best one that I’ve found for vibrancy and non-smear quality when using markers to color in an image. Looking forward to new matching colors!
I love that the ink will match the cardstock and ribbon!
I have never tried the Palette hybrid ink pads so am really intrigued with how they will work with all my clear stamps – I love the colours of dye inks, but often they don’t cling so well to clear stamps…. I just want really vibrant colours in subtle shades with a great even impression… :oD
Oh and pleeeeeeeeeeeeease I need small ink pads, small ones as I have run out of space for large ink pads and can only buy small ones for the foreseeable future…. :oS Please bring them out in a small size too, they’re great in that size when taking your gear to crops and storing easily.
I like that the inks will coordinate perfectly with PTI exclusive ribbon and card stock. I also like that they can be used on many different surfaces!
I am excited to try the “middle of the road” ink and since I love coloring with reinkers and a brush will be anxious to see how the reinkers work for me.
I have never tried Palette & would sooo luv to try. I can’t believe it is WATERPROOF! I guess I have been under a rock; lol!! Again, congrats on this achivement; I AM so excited for you!
I’m very impressed with everything you’ve created- the vibrancy of the colors, and I know you mention the Palette inks frequently. I think getting the boldness of a pigment pad but the quick-dry of a dye ink would be awesome.
I was delighted to learn that your inks will be Palette inks…well done!
Wow, this is looking good. I can’t wait to try the new inks as the inks I have don’t work that well
I’m interested to see that the color evens out as the ink dries. I’ve had too many inks that stamped blotchy and stayed that way. Thanks, Nichole, for your generosity and your vision.
I haven’t tried one of these but you’ve sold it to me now! I love that the colours will be vibrant and true and will dry on any surface. Brilliant! You really do think of everything 🙂
For me it is the color matching that is exciting!!
I’ve yet to try Palette ink, but I guess I’ll get my shot when I order both of these colours! lol I’m very interested in using just one inkpad for so many applications.
I’m so happy you decided to use Palette inks, but then I expect nothing less of you! You always insist on the best quality for your products. So far I’ve only used the black and brown, but I’m so excited about your colors that I see a lot of Palettes in my future!
Wonderful! I like that they’re archival-safe, for those that are using them in scrapbooks and other permanent projects. 🙂
Haven’t tried the Palette inks yet, can’t wait!
Palette inks are not readily available in my area. Now that I’ve seen your review I can’t wait to try them on your stamps. A cross between dye and pigment intrigues me.
I like that the pale colors will show up on darker cardstock- definately gives you more options. I also like (can’t I have 2?) that it will match your new color line!
so far, what’s not to like? the 2 colors are so soft. thanks nichole!! great job, once again.
Fabulous! You are like the Oprah of papercrafting!
I am so excited about this new line of paper, ribbon and ink. I love Palette Ink and these colors are going to be so beautifull. I can only imagine the excitement you are feeling to be able to provide this to your customers.
as i sit here excited that the palette inks are your choice, i realize that the matching paper and ink is very important to me and i appreciate the effort and time this was for you to produce a product line like this. i can’t wait.
palette inks are incredible. the crisp images, the true colors, the wonderful pad( i love that they have “handles”)
keep creating. HOORAY!
I have a couple palette inks pads and love them. I don’t have any light ones yet but I am excited to try them and see how they stay so vibrant because I also fine that some light colors of dye ink don’t show up well even on white paper.
I love Palette Hybrid inks! I adore the new aqua and moss colors and can’t wait to add them to my collection! I have been in search of the perfect light blue and I think you have captured the hue I’ve been searching for with the introduction of aqua mist! Congrats on your new line of products; mcu more success to you and your company!
I am so excited to have an ink that is universal and makes light colors vivid, not to mention that they are a perfect match!
I can’t wait to try the new colors. The tip about the lid is a great idea. Papertrey is becoming my favorite place to shop!
I only have black but am looking forward to the new colors. I’ve been buying stamp pads elsewhere but they seem to lack vivbrancy at least when I use them. Looking forward to all the new colors.
I love the colors! These are so different than what I have seen or have in my own stash of inks! Congrats on the new products!

Paper, Ribbons, and Ink… Oh My! 🙂
What intriques me the most is how it absorbs onto the paper for a perfect finish. I’m most excited about that. I have the Palette Noir and use it often. What fun! Looking forward to seeing the ribbons tomorrow!
Hugs,
Renee
I have never used the Palette inks before, but I’m sure I will love them like everyone else seems to. Can’t wait to try them.
I have never tried the Hybrid ink but will be after the 15th. I love that I can use it for everything. No guessing. . Thanks -Molly B
I have never stamped with a hybrid ink. I am anxious to try it. I love that you are coordinating with your new paper. It makes it easy to stamp when all the colorwork is done for you!
I love that it’s a combo ink!
I would love to try this ink. I’ve not used this before… I always have problems using my ink on my clear stamps… that is what intrigues me the most with this one. I can’t wait to try them!
I love Palette Inks, they dry so quickly and work so well on different mediums…and to have them MATCH Cardstock and Ribbon…OH MY, I’m drooling all over my keyboard.
Just wanted to say I’m so very pleased for you with your creation of a complete “brand” boutique. I’m a lurking fan of Papertry and this is so very exciting! I’m so glad you paired your brand with the hybrid ink. It really is the best ink and your colors are excellent and unique. Congrats! I can’t wait to see more.
I recently decided to try the Palette inks and started with burnt umber and black … so I can’t WAIT to see what the 2 lighter tones are like once on paper, especially the same colour onto c/stock. Fantastic! Well done Nichole.
I am intrigued by the fact that you can use it for paper and fabric, because right now I have 2 separate ink pads for that. And also that you say the colors are vibrant enough to show up.
I have every color of the Palette ink pads so you can count on me getting every color of pads that you will carry. I just love their color selection.
I LOVE Palette ink! Its the only ink that I use!!! I am so excited that you are offering it to match your cardstock and ribbon!!! The ink is just so nice to use!
I love the fact that you don’t have to “think” if this is the right kind of ink or not! And the color! Love the colors! Yippie,Elizabeth Glass
Really looking forward to the matching colors–ink, paper and ribbon in your great color choices!!
I recently bought a few of these because I love how they work so well for onesies. I can’t wait to try them on other things as well. 🙂
I don’t have any of these ink pads but I do love the colors and they way the stamped images seem so clear. Hopefully I will get my hands on these stamps soon!
This is gettting so exciting ,it`s just like Christmas.Great colors, great price, love the finger grips.
I especially love that they match your paper colors exactly. Can’t wait to try rhm.
Stephanie
I love the hybrid ink pads. I like the fact you can use them all types of surfaces. I use them with my clear stamps to get a great image. To have them match my cardstock would be awesome.
I am intrigued to try them. I have no Palette ink pads. I think it’s fabulous that you will have your exclusive colors to match the cardstock.
The intriguing thing for me is the “transformation” from blotchy to perfect!
Absolutely I want to try it! I have been getting the Palette inks from you right along and love them all. I hate to see all the things I’m going to *need* this month — stamps, cardstock, ribbon, ink!! I’m so excited!
I just LOVE the Pallette ink, have ordered the black from you! Nicole, I love reading your blog every day and I love PT stamps! Thanks!
I love that the inks match your new papers. Can’t wait to try it!
Stephanie
Not having to worry about which type of ink to use is a great incentive to me!
I’ve never tried the palette inks! So I’m exited about all their features! I also love the fact that they match exactly with the card stock! I’m going to need to try them!
I’m intrigued with the transformation from the 1st photo to the 2nd photo that you showed.
Glorie
I have never tried this ink before but I too find lighter inks aren’t vibrant and you’ve convinced me that I need this ink.
i love the idea that its all in one you wont lose the lid………..great job
i only have two colors now ,but i love using them and will be buying some more soon 🙂
I LOVE them- the stamps just soak in the colours and they stamp like a dream. They are my new favorite thing
I love that they will match with the paper perfectly & can be used for any project.
Deb
Everything about this ink pad intrigues me…but especially the packaging. It looks so comfortable to use. And of course the colors and the hybrid…
I really like using the Palette inks that I have collected so far. I’m excited to think about the new exclusive colors coming. I hope my checkbook is ready for the big order that’s coming this month!!
Everything about this ink pad intrigues me…but especially the packaging. It looks so comfortable to use. And of course the colors and the hybrid…
I’m excited about the new colors. I haven’t used hybrids yet so these new, exciting colors will be my first adventure into this medium.
I’m mostly excited about the fact that they will be exculsive to papertrey and in loving how beautiful and crisp the metallic colors I have are I’m sure they will be beautiful. Maybe I’ll have to do some of them onesies yet. The mint color is just luscious for easter.
I’ve never tried the inks before, I’ve read so many great reviews…….can’t wait for your new release to try them!
What stamper can ever have enough ink?? I really enjoy the few Pallette inks I have so I’m looking forward to the new colors the most. And I didn’t know the trick with the lid either . . . I learned an extra new thing today!
I really like the vibrant display even with the lighter colors! The fact that everything matches is so cool!!!
I use Palette for most of my stamping needs. They are definitely a superior product. Can’t wait to order the new colors!
I don’t have any Pallette inks and I’m wondering if they are as AMAZING as all the stampers here and about say they are….hopefully I can find out with these two amazing new colors!!! (wink, wink 🙂
Thanks Nichole…how exciting!
Kim
This IS really exciting – I have never used the Palette Hybrid, but I will now! Can’t wait for the 15th.
What stamper can ever have enough ink? I really like the Palette inks I already have, so more colors is a big plus!
I’ve never tried any of the Palette ink pads before…I’m intrigued by the fact that even light colored inks (think Pretty in Pink and Barely Banana) can show up on cardstock–even white–vibrantly. Can’t wait to see what other colors you will be offering…I’m hoping for a dark pink and orange combo next month 🙂
I bought my first Palette Hybrid Inks from Papertreyink several months ago and they have become my favorite inks. The coverage and richness of color make stamping even more fun. I really look forward to purchasing all the new exclusive ink pads to coordinate with your new cardstock and ribbon colors. Papertryink has become one-stop-shopping!!!
I have never used the Hybrid Inks because I truly didn’t understand what the benefits were. Thanks for the concise explanation– very helpful!
However, the big draw for me with your delightful new product line will be the fact that light colors will have vibrancy. Love pastels, but hate the way no one can see them! You’ve developed a perfect solution.
Best Wishes,
Mary
Well that settles it, I need to go get a part time job so can have one of everything you will be offering this month :o)These inks sound fabulous. Apart from the fact that they match the paper and ribbon I think what I will love about these inks is the fact that they work on almost any surface makin ghtem so versatile. I can’t wait to hear what you have to say about the ribbon tomorrow. Nichole, you ROCK!
Ruth.
I am quite excited that you have matching ink to go along with your ribbon and paper! I am always a little hesitant to try new inks because if you don’t like it then you are “stuck” with that inkpad! I am willing to give it a try though!
I am an old Su demo so I have all of the old Su colours….haven been debating about buying some of the newer ones but now you have convinced me to try the hybrid inks instead!
I’ve purchased some palette pads from you and they ink so well. I can’t wait to try the new colors, especially the moss.
Love the inks – easy to use and the colors are beautiful. can’t wait to see what you come up with!
More great news just keeps coming. It all sounds great…what a combo..matching color, hybrid (never tried..but sounds much easier) and price. I was happy to see how the cover extends the grip of th stamp.
You must be so busy..thanks to you and your team for the awesome effort
I like that the Palette inks dry instantly and that they will match cardstock and ribbons. The 15th can come soon enough!
I like that you can stamp on pretty much anything with the Palette inks; I love that the colors are vibrant. I love the fact that the inks will match PTI papers and ribbons. Thanks for the information on these inks as I learned a lot about them that I didn’t know.
Looking forward to having ink that will match the cardstock – very exciting and the fact that you don’t have to worry about what type of ink you are using is a benefit because sometimes it can get very confusing or you only have one type and not the other. Looking forward to making some purchases.
I love SU classic ink but have always regretted that I can’t use it in my scrapbooks. I’m intrigued that your new inks will be more flexible in application and want to give them a try!
I have been using Palette inks for several months now and love them. Thanks for the great tip on using the lid as a handle, I will be trying that! You made a great choice to go with that company and I look forward to your exclusive colors!
This is awesome, the fact that the ink and paper and ribbon is going to all match is what I like best!
Rachael
This is great! I already have a couple of the Pallette inks and think they are great, but sure your love your two new colors and the handle idea is pretty nifty.
I think that having the Palette colors match the cardstock will be an important feature for me. I also think the fact that the colors maintain their vibrancy is terrific!
I have never tried Palette Inks but have always wanted to. I think the idea that they stamp equally well on paper and non-porous surfaces is very exciting!! Thanks for the great new products!!
You are coming out with some really Awesome products! I Love that you can snap the handle on to give yourself a nice grip.. I love that this ink gives you full coverage and even though it may look splotchy it absorbs into the paper.. very cool! I also love that it coordinates with the new papers and ribbons and that it’s Waterproof! What more can a girl ask for?!! Thanks for touching on all the bases with this new Hybrid Ink!!
Oh, and for the record, I would love it if you added the ink spots to your lineup of new products … they are a great tool for getting that distressed look on your papers! JM2C~!
I’ll all about the Vs. Vibrancy and Versatility! Thanks for educating us! I’m also happy that you will offer matching colors. Makes life so much easier!
I am so trilled that you have matching ink…that was my only concern with new card stock but you seem to have thought of everything.
I have never tried this ink but like your card stock I just tried I am sure I will love it. I am interested in the coverage with the acrylic stamps because I do find other inks can seem uneven. Yeah something new to go broke on!
Thanks again,
Victoria
I am so super excited about this whole thing!!!!…and now you tell us that lighter ink shows up really well even on white! If it is at all possible I’m even more excited!!! I can’t waitk to get my hands on some! {SMILES}
I like Palette ink because of the dye/pigment qualities all in one. So glad to have those new colors. Thanks so much.
I love the Palette ink! The colors you have chosen to start are so warm – and the fact that they will work on any surface is awesome! So excited for you!
I’m sold!! What I love about the ink pad is the vibrancy that remains with lighter colored ink. I can’t wait to try that out for myself! Thanks, Nicole!
I am very interested in how it is both dye and pigment ink. I’m starting to be overwhelmed with have 2 ink pads of the same color b/c I need them for their different uses. This is brilliant!
I love the idea of having only one ink pad to grab instead of all the different ones I currently need to stamp images well!
I’m thing that I’m most excited about is that they are such a versatile ink (and that you personally chose the colors).
I am so exciting!! I so love Palette inks. I like that you will be releasing two each month that way I can easily build up my collection month by month.
My favorite thing is the packaging…I love how it has the grooves on the side to make it easy to handle…especially handy for inking edges or other direct-to-paper applications!
I like the vibrancy and the way the color evens out. I didn’t know you could use the lid as a handle – what a great design.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Palette Inks–I’m excited to try PaperTrey’s colour selections.
And the fact that there’s ribbon and paper, too…!
Love the Spring Moss colour. It’s one of my favourites!
I am so happy that you chose Palette for your signature colors. I have loved my black and brown ever since I got them. They are now my go to for EVERYTHING! I always get a clear image and it doesn’t smear. Now I just need to start getting colors!
~Melissa
I only have the Palette Black ink pad, but I use it for almost everything! I have never tried the colors, but the reason I love them is because I can ink up a solid image or a very detailed image and get great results every time.
Connie K.
I haven’t yet had a chance to try the Palette inks – hard to find someone in Canada who carries them. Everyone raves about them though and I am intrigued – I especially like that they are for all surfaces – eliminating the need for Stazon!!
I like the fact that the image from the ink pads you will be able to see! I really am not stisfied with some other ink pads because of this reason. Looking forward to everything!
An ink pad that has a handle on it? Awesome! I think that is just too cool! 🙂
I like the fact that the lighter colors will show up vibrant and the colors!
Thanks for the chance at winning!
Oh, boy! I haven’t used Palette inks before, but after that sales pitch, I would be willing to try them! I love that it can be used on any surface. I dislike having to buy colors that I need in two different ink pads. That gets very expensive! Palette inks would be much more reasonable.
I personally love the pallette ink pads because of how you have always showcased them! Yeah! Lisa K
I don’t think I can take all this excitement. Everyday there is something even more FAB to whoop it up about. Good thing Congress is working on those rebate checks!! I know where mine will be going. I’m sure many would agree, buying papertrey does the economy good. So I am just doing my part! I think my FAVE feature is that these inks work on anything. I always hated buying two pads of the same color so I almost always chose one or the other and made do. Your so smart to have such a multi purpose ink. No wonder your considered an industry leader.
I’ve not tried Palette inks before, so am intrigued by one pad for most surfaces. Am also interested in the pastels and the fact that they stay true to color; I’ve also tried inks that have faded quickly once used and have thrown them all out long ago. thanks for the help.
I love Palette inks and it would be awesome to add these two great colors to my collection!!
I think the best feature is the multi surface factor. No more guessing what ink will work on what surface. I made a pillowcase for my little nephew for Christmas(after reading about being able to use it on fabric on your blog)using the Palette Noir ink and it has held up well through several washings.
I really hope you decide to carry the smaller ink cubes eventually.
Can’t wait to see all the new colors!!!
Anette(snowmom13)
I have the Noir Palette and love how it stamps. I used the Christmas Treats set to stamp my labels this Christmas and couldn’t get the look I wanted from any of the inks I currently own so I will definitely be buying these inks. The colors are crisp and vibrant even in the softer colors which will definitely be a plus and the color match is a fabulous bonus. Thanks for providing us with such great quality color match products. I wait with baited breath to see the gorgeous ribbons (love ribbon). Thanks Ann
I can’t wait to get my hands on these inks. I love the Palette inks and think they are the way to go in stamping now a days.
I am so excited about this new ink. I like how you showed how it “fills itself in”. That’s cool.
Cool,cool,cool. Can’t wait…Love Noir…will love the rest…Pam
I got my first Palette (from PTI) a few weeks ago and love the coverage and the vividness of the color without the smudging like you can sometimes get with pigment ink.
I can’t wait to get more Palette Inks to match the new paper I will need to get too!! Along with all the new stamps, can’t forget those.
What an awesome company!
I love that Palette ink works on just about anything! It’s nice to be able to use one ink pad for most things instead of trying to keep up with a couple.
LOVE that the ink pads will perfectly coordinate with Papertrey’s cardstock and ribbons!! Just love it when things match! LOL!
I love the the Palette inkpads; the colors they have are so very vibrant and am looking forward to seeing them in your colors. This inkpad works on just about every paper and produces such a nice image. Please do consider offering them in the smaller cubes!

I think it’s really interesting how the ink changes texture shortly after stamping. The handle is a great feature especially for large background stamps. I’m very anxious to try all of these new products. Lana
I have used Palette black ink and love it because it is so vibrant. I have been wanting to try the colors as well. Here is a super chance to do that. Thanks for all you do
Sheri
I like the idea of not having to think about which ink pad would be the best for a certain project. I would also like to try an ink pad you suggest for the clear stamps.
It’s a good life!
Terri E.
I don’t have ANY of my own ink yet! I a ma pretty new stamper and I have some stamps, but always ned to borrow ink! I would LOVE to beone of the first to tey out some of the new ink!!!
Because of recommendations on your blog and forum, I have tried and am now collecting Pallette inks. Because I have come to love their great features, I am most thrilled with the perfect match concept. I love to be able to have everything coordinate. Cannot wait expand my collection!
I love the fact that they match the PTI colors for a clean and uniform look!
Suzy
I love, love, LOVE the Palette pads that I have already bought from Papertrey, and I have been successful with embossing (gotta be quick). Very excited to try your new colors!
I love the idea of the ergonomic handle!! Your colors look intriguing too. But the handle is what caught my eye because so manyink pads are hard to hold. 🙂
I love Palette inks! Can’t wait to get the inks, ribbon and papers in my hot little hands. I love the 15th of the month 🙂
The versatility is what I like the most about the Palette inks! I’m excited that you’ll have exclusive colors.
i am so excited about all the new things happening here at PaperTrey!
I have being using the Palette ink pads for awhile now and I just love them. The most exciting news for me (besides the fact that I will soon be able to buy the ink in your colors – with paper and ribbon to match) is the fact that I can use the lid as a handle. I have been using them for years and never knew that! It was purely a “ta da” moment for me.
How neat is that–the cover turns into a handle! I would have never figured that one out on my own. I love that they are waterproof and the vibrancy is a big plus. I bet they will look even better in reality. I can’t wait to try them out. I also like that you are only releasing two at a time so that I can save my pennies:)
Excellent!! Could this get any better??? This is gonna make me love PT even more! One of the reason I love SU is for all the matching-colored products . . . I just may have to expand my “palette”!!! 🙂
I think the best feature is that they match the paper and the ribbon. I also like the dual function the ink pad offers as well as the bold color of a light colored ink.
The ink pads sound wonderful! Like many others, I most appreciate the vibrancy of the colors. Yay!
Kara
I can’t wait for each new day, with all of the new and exciting announcements! YAH…Papertrey! I love the idea of better coverage from the new ink pads, and to think they will work on fabric as well. These will be on my wish list too! Gotta have it all!
It’s nice to know that the ink is being manufactured by a company that many of us know and love already. I didn’t ever realize the lid could be attached to the back to add more depth to grip–learn something new everyday! Can’t wait to hear about the ribbon tomorrow!
I love that they are hybrid inks, and can be used on anything. And the colors are awesome!!!
Kim
I only have 2 Palette ink pads, Burnt Umber and Noir. I needed them for Gamsol/Prismacolor and watercoloring. I like that I’ll be able to branch out with colors other than black and brown, and that I’ll have cardstock/ribbon MADE to match! That excites me the most!
The Palette Noir is the only black ink pad I use now. I love that it is waterproof for watercoloring and that it always stamps so vibrantly on every type of paper (even watercolor paper). I am slowly purchasing other colors as well and am thrilled that Papertrey’s ink will be Palette Hybrid ink as well.
excited to see just how it works…just in the middle of dye and pigment intrigues me.
I’ve never used the Palette inks, but can’t wait to try them!!
I like that the inks are going to match your paper and ribbons & that they are going to have a special label for the lid – you are really going all out and it shows! Can’t wait for the ribbon announcement – I think I will be in stampers heaven once I see it – please post a ton off pics!!!!!!!
Yippee! I love the versatility of Palette ink! The rich colors and the speedy drying time are fabulous!!! Can’t wait for PaperTrey’s exclusive color line!!!
Yippee! I love the versatility of Palette ink! The rich colors and the speedy drying time are fabulous!!! Can’t wait for PaperTrey’s exclusive color line!!!
I have not used Palatte inks a lot..I have the black one but I am really impressed by your demo. Cannot wait to try the new colors made for Papertrey….so pick me!!!
I’ve never tried a “hybrid” ink before. Would be very interested to see the pastels after reading your description. 🙂
I use the palette black all the time. I love that I always get such a nice image from the ink. I love that you can use it for scrapbooking and card making. I can’t wait to try the other colors.
Love palette inks because they are so versatle! Can’t wait to see you color matched shades.
This is going to be my first experience with Palette Ink Pads. I haven’t used many different types and I’m ready for something new. I love the idea of using light colors because that has always been a problem for me. I have always loved the cards using light colored ink and wondered what they used. Having a ‘handle’ is another plus. Please hurry so we can order!!!!
I have several of the Palette ink pads and I love them! The coverage is wonderful and the colors are so vivid. I am so excited that they have teamed up with PTI with perfect match inks!! What a perfect pair!!
I do not currently own any Palette Inks but every time I read about how wonderful they are to work with I want to try them out. So I am intrigued by the versatility and by the vividness of the colors.
awesome… I can’t wait to see how vivid the colors are!!
Beth
It is great that it is waterproof, and that you can use the pad to color the edges of things.
I am new to Palette inks but everything you’d said about them sounds great to me! I’m excited to experiment and sure to fall in love with them.
oh my word!! this is so cool that you’ve been able to get Palette to work with you to make your perfect product! Now honestly, I have never tried the hybrid inks, but I am very intrigued by them. I am all about matching paper, and ink and accessories, and I am so excited you will be offering them now too!
Please Please pick me!!! I love your products.
I already love Palette inks. How fun that they’ll be available in “your” colors!
Woo-hoo! Palette pads to match the cardstock! All this great news this week is making me giddy.
I’ve never tried the Palette ink but how exciting to be able to use it for everything!!!
I am so thrilled that it is a hybrid type of ink! Palette ink is one of my favorites. It is the first thing I grab when I stamp. I can’t wait until the reveal.
I’ve never tried this ink before, what caught my attention was the it has characteristics of dye and pigment. Gonna give it a try for sure!!!
Intrigued by the fact that the ink will continue to “fill in” on your stamped image. I have a few neglected Hybrids so will have to dust them off and play with them again. Would love to win your new colors!
I have several of the Pallete ink pads. I loe them! The fact that you don’t have to think of which ink to use is wonderful. I have made the baby onesies for several friends and they have loved them. The idea of being able to use my stamps for many other items then paper is great!
Can’t wait to order the new colors.
I love the versatility of this ink! I’m loving that you will carry the ink, cs, and ribbon in matching colors!
Wow- I love that this will match your cardstock, but is also good for all the surfaces I might want to use it on!
I just love that everything is going to coordinated perfectly. I also love that it evens out so nicely as it dries.
Thanks,
Julie
I already love Palette inks! How fun that they’ll be available in “your” colors!
I just LOVE the Palette ink pads, especially with clear stamps. I’m so excited that you’ve created your own in YOUR colors! The colors are wonderful!
I haven’t used the hybrid inks yet (they are on my wish list though), but they seem like a great mix between dye and pigment. LOVE that Papertrey will have ink to match paper AND ribbon! Awesome.
I have never tries Palette inks so the things that intrigue me the most would be it’s “hybrid” feature and seeing how it works on different surfaces. I can’t wait to see it!
Oh how exciting! I have bought a couple of the pallete pads due to the fast drying time and being able to use them in my scrapbooks, so far I love them!
What I will appreciate the most is that is both types of ink in one. I’m a scrapbooker and then a card maker so having waterproof impressions is important. Thanks for yet another chance to win some goodies. Sandra
I already have some of the palette ink pads and love them. I can’t wait to see your new colors.
The best feature of the ink pads is that they perfectly match the PTI cardstock and ribbons. I have never used the hybrid ink before but it sounds like the best of both worlds.
The fact that the ink works on everything! No more guess work about which ink pad to use with each application.
That’s awesome!
I love that they’re a mix of dye and pigment ink – the best of both worlds! So happy to see that you have a great ink to go with the beautiful new paper and ribbons!
I like the fact that the lighter shades are vibrant. Hope I get a chance to try them.
I love everything about Palette inks. I have quite a few in my collection and love that you will have 2 new beautiful colors! And they will match paper and ribbon??? *faints* I can NOT wait!!!
I’ve never used the Palette inks. I would love to try them. They sound like quality inks. I have a hard time getting the lighter colors to show-up. They are waterproof too? Wow!
Interesting to see the before & after shot of your imprint of this ink…the fact that it absorbs into the paper & still be vibrant. Will have try them one day…maybe on my next order! Julia
I’m so excited!! At first I wasn’t interested in “more” inks, but I LOVE the Palette inks and have EVERY color…now I’m going to HAVE to have the “newest” ones!!
You guys are truly top notch!!!
Mary L.
Wow! What I liked and what amazed me the most was your awesome photographs depicting the “magic transformation” the Palette ink undergoes, providing clear stamps even coverage and really good vibrancy. Can’t wait to give them a try in your awesome colors that will match your other new products. Sure hope you will be selling ink refills for these new ink pads.
OMG, this is the best news EVER!! Palette pads are my FAVORITE and now there will be matching paper, etc….OMG, OMG, I am SOOOO excited!!!!!
The hybrid inks sound awesome and for them to match your cardstock is great too!! I never used them before but I would love to try them out! Thanks for the chance!! :o)

Wow — I have never tried this type of ink before — can’t wait
This is very exciting! I have not tried Palette inks before but I’m counting down the days until next week when I can purchase the new colors.
The fact that these inks are both dye and pigment will be wonderful in our crafting needs! I can’t wait to try them. Shellie
I’m so happy you have matchin ink pads! How exciting. I do have a question, does the Palette ink work with Copic Markers? I’m really excited to try these because of what you said regarding the vibrancy with light colors. I thought the sample you posted two days ago was just beautiful.
~ jess k
I am totally intrigued by your comment about light colors showing up enough. I have some lovely light colors that just don’t work well. Love the Palette colors and would LOVE the two new colors!!!
I can’t decide between the two colors! I LOVE them both – and I already LOVE Palette Hybrids!! I’m working on getting them ALL! I’m so impressed by you adding colors to coordinate – the 15th cannot come soon enough!
Awesome! I’d love to have ink pads in pastel colors that you can actually see on the paper. Several of my dye ink pads are so light that I only use them for sponging.
I like that the ink is multi surface. It makes it so easy to have just one ink for almost everything you do. The colors look great too. Thanx for the opportunity to get these colors free. Great work PTI!
I love the fact that they are waterproof and the vividness of the colors. And that they are “yours”!!! I love Papertrey Ink products.
Cheryl Sims
What I really like about the pallette inks is that light colors are vibrant. This makes me happy!
I can’t wait to try the ink because it will be a perfect match to the cardstock.
I like the idea of using the lid as a handle….look forward to seeing some more of theses products..thanks for offering the giveaway!!
I love palette ink. The vibrancy surprised me when I first tried it and it’s fantastic!
I would also looooove if you offered your colors in the cubes as well as the full sized pads. I have the black, white and brown in full size and was starting to collect the other colors in cubes. I guess I’ll have to stop that so I can get your colors!
I have not used these ink pads. I am very new to card making and I’m just learning about all of the supplies available.
Thanks, you have a great website.
This is exciting! I’ve never used the hybrid inks before and they sound neat. I’m excited that they work with everything. 🙂 And the way its packaged sounds really handy too.
VIBRANCY! I love matching inks and card stock but it never seems that the inks are just right, even when they are designed to match. Can’t wait to try THESE out!!!!!!
I can’t wait to try the new colors ink. I have the black and i love it. It’s the only ink I have found I can use my Copics with that it doesn’t smear. How many colors do you think you plan on getting all together?
I really like the coverage of the ink! I am excited with everything you are doing!!!!
Lori M
I like so many things about these ink pads. For scrapbooking, the vibrancy of the colors will be a huge plus and the contour of the lid will be very handy with clear stamps! This is quite an exciting line!
Jennie
It would definitely simplify the process of deciding which ink to use. I’d love to give it a try!
They sound perfect. Can`t wait to try them. Great giveaway.
Thanks
Heather fr Atlantic Canada
It would definitely simplify the process of deciding which ink to use. Can’t wait to try it!
I love the Palette inks because they are a mix of both the dye and pigment inks. And the Noir Black and Burnt Umber are two of my favorite colors because I can use them to color in with my Copic markers. And I can’t wait to see your custom colors too. Mish
I have purchased several Palette inks from you, and am very pleased with the way in which the ink “adheres” to the acrylic stamps. I like the color selection to choose from, and the stackable nature of the design has worked well for me (I probably need to put some sort of identifying tag on the side, though). Thanks, Nichole! You had me at Office Depot yesterday, buying some write-on transparencies!
It would definitely simplify the process of deciding which ink to use. Can’t wait to try it!
I love the blend of dye/pigment, and look forward to using the new colors even if I don’t win one!
I love the Palette inks because they are a mix of both the dye and pigment inks. And the Noir Black and Burnt Umber are two of my favorite colors because I can use them to color in with my Copic markers. And I can’t wait to see your custom colors too. Mish
I ordered Canvas from you last month; my first Palette ink. I love it. Can’t wait to try your new colors. Thanks for the SU comparison cards. The colors look beautiful and different!!
I bought 2 of the Palette ink pads with my last order—have used them both with good results! Upon experimenting with the pads, I figured out how to attach the top to the base—I would suggest it as it’s easier to hold the pad. I agree with Nichole that it takes the guess work out of deciding what kind of ink to use—this I love!!! Can’t wait to see all the colors!
How cool is it they “dry” to make a clean look!
I use craft ink now and am frustrated with the drying process (or should I say lack there of) so I’m anxious to try a stamp pad that has the both of both worlds-dye and pigment.
I am really excited about this line! For scrapbooking the vibrancy of the ink will be amazing and I love the contour of the stamp pad itself to use for clear stamps! And the matching ink colors to the cardstock is just WOWZERS!
I have 2 of the Palette inks (I ordered from Papertrey) and they are so wonderful, the colors are so pretty and they can be used on almost everything. I love them!!!
I love the thought of keeping the vibrancy of the light colors!
I just love that all the ink, ribbon, and paper will match perfectly!! Awesome.
Oooooo – I’m SO excited to try your new inks! I have just recently started really building my ink pad collection! I’m really glad you are only offering a few each month – or I’d probably go broke!
I’m thrilled that you are offering matching paper and ribbon, too! I can’t wait to use them all together!
I was really wowed by the lid becoming a handle. I already love how crisp the black ink works with acrylic stamps. I have yet to try the other colors and would love to be lucky enough to win the new stamp pads and get busy playing!
I have never tried Palette ink but I think your new line might push me over the edge 😛
I like the fact that they are a “universal” ink taking the guess work out of which ink to use. I am equally excited that the colors and CS etc are going to match because I am definitely a “matcher” with my crafting.
Yaaaay… Palette ink pads to match! These are my favorite pads: love the way they lay down on different surfaces. I vote for the cubes at a future date. The extra $ in my budget can go toward more PTI stamps!
I have a few of the Palette inks and they are pretty cool. I love that the ink, paper and ribbon will all match – it’s about time! Thank you!!
What’s not to love? stamp on anything vibrancy should I add more?
I love Palette Ink and am excited you are getting them in your colors- I really like that you can use them on any surface.
And rather than use the lid as a handle for the inkpad, I often use it as a handle for my stamps- if I’m too lazy to find an acrylic block, I throw my stamp onto the top of the inkpad lid- you can just see through it, so it’s a perfect lazy solution.
I love all the coordination — ink, paper, ribbon — I think it’s great.
I like the vibrancy of the colors and the versatility of the inks. Can’t wait to see more new colors too!
I have been hearing such raves about palette inks I’m excited to try them. I love that they are an all-purpose ink — to be used on rubber and clear stamps!
I am so excited that the ink matches your new cardstock and ribbon! I love Papertrey!!
How do I pick one thing? I guess it would have to be vivid color, because I experience that same frustration that dye ink in light colors does not show up very well.
The most “intriguing”? Would have to be the way they dry…can’t wait to see the transformation.
I lOVE This. I am intrigued by how quickly they dry, and the fact that you can use the lid as a “handle”
Happy Weekend,
Trace
I love Palette Hybrid ink, and have the whole collection, but I’m so exicited to see PTI have their own exclusive colors! For as many years as I’ve had them, I had no idea you could flip the lid and use as a handle!
I am anxious to try the light colors out! I am working on several baby projects and HATE when the light girl colors don’t show up very well. This sounds SUPER exciting! Can’t wait!!
Nothing better than perfectly matched ink and cardstock! 🙂 I’ve not yet used the Palette inks…keep meaning to pick up a couple pads to try. I think I would love the versatility!
WOW!! how exciting! i like many things as stated above, but i also like how the ink pad itself (its texture) doesn’t show up when i stamp! and, i love your new blue color… and with the green!! congrats!!
I love anything that matches & coordinates. Great idea to produce waterproof ink so stamping on fabrics opens up an entire new medium to experiment with! Can’t wait to see the ribbons too!
I can hardly believe I won’t have to figure out which kind of ink to use! This is truly an awesome feature…..and they match the wonderful shades of the Papertrey papers and ribbons! Wow!
I was definitely impressed with the way these inks worked on clear stamps. I have quite a large collection of them now and find that the Palette ink pads work great for them. Love the burnt sienna color. I am excited to hear about the pastel colors as they tend to be my favorite colors to stamp with also.
Linda
I love the idea of a perfectly matched paper and ink combo – but as for the ink pad iteslf I like that you can just pick it up and use it, no lid in the way and there are grips to help you along!
I love the way it absorbs into the paper, and the cordination of card stock!
Right now I only have the Palette Black, but I love it! Can’t wait to try out the new colors! I also love how the cover turns into a handle! Clever!
I’ve purchased several Palette inks from your site and have loved them all! I love the vibrancy of the colors and that they don’t fade like dye inks. They’re so versatile! I use Palette inks much more than dye inks now. How exciting that Paper Trey ink will have coordinating colors!
I have never tried a hybrid ink, but now might be a good time to try one. I am intriqued by the vibrancy of the lighter colors. Can’t wait to see more colors! Thanks for the SU comparison!
I stumbled across PaperTrey recently & all I can say is WOW! Where have I been? And I’ve never HEARD of Pallette ink pads before so I’m just blown away! I noticed the finger grips on the pad right away & had to read to find out . . . yep it’s for gripping, how cool! And the lid acts as a handle? Even MORE cool! But then the ink being dual in nature, EXTREME WOW. I can tell that my little ones have been keeping me from the stamping world for too long–how could I not KNOW about these like everyone else! I’ve always loathed how Stazon smells & worrying about getting it everywhere . . (so awkward to use the pad) & waiting for it to dry thoroughly . . . ugh. Want more colors, but not pleased enough to delve in. Yay, a better ink pad! I’m dying to know how they meshed the 2 types of ink! I love that I can just have one type of ink pad–that will save space & $$$$$ (which just means more OTHER stamping stuff! lol) BUT NO ONE HAS SAID ANYTHING ABOUT CLEANING YOUR STAMPS–if it’s waterproof, does it mean it’s a pain to clean off your stamps like Stazon? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me it’s a breeze! I hate taking the time to clean pigment inks, & especially Stazon waterproof inks off my stamps. Please tell me it’s not like that! Then I’ll be in the ULTIMATE STAMPER’S HEAVEN! It would be the PERFECT ink pad! I’m so impressed with PaperTrey–everything feels so professional & TOP NOTCH. How amazing to start a stamp company with such class & quality. And to have your own exclusive color line & matching LABELS from the ink manufacturer–wow, I’m utterly impressed! I think PaperTrey is going to become one of the best known names in stamping–just too much class & quality. You know how the word spreads in the stamping community–won’t be long before EVERYONE KNOWS about you! I just found you & can’t stop raving myself! thanks for starting out so great!
I love the vividness and the crispness of the stamped images when using the Palette inks. Thanks, Nichole, for the tip on using the lid as a “handle” for the ink pads…that’ll make it a lot easier inking the big stamps! I’ll nominate that little tidbit as the “tip of the day.”
I love everything about them…the waterproof ink, that you can use them on everything. How cool is it that the lid becomes the handle! AWESOME ink1
I’m happy that the soft colors will still be vibrant and can be used on many surfaces especially fabric. For a baby shower we stamped on onesies and the palette inkpads would have been perfect.
I have used the Palette inks already and like how they perform. The color matching with the cardstock and ribbon is a huge plus!!
I love the vibrant colors that palette inks provide and the thought that I can pick it up and use it on any surface is super exciting! This is wonderful!
I’ve never tried Palette inks before, can’t wait until all the new releases on the 15th.
The colors are great. I have used the Palette ink pads before and they are fabulous! Can’t wait to try your new colors!
I love the fact that all the pieces are going to match. I’ve been held hostage by SU because of the color matches and quality of product. I am not a fan of the SU ink pads. I don’t think they give a good impression because of the fabric used in the pad. I am very excited about these pads and the quality of the impression and the fact that one type of pad does it all.
I have not tried these inks before but now that you will carry them in matching colors I know I’ll have to try them!
I love the crisp, clear images I get when stamping with the Palette inks. Having paper, ribbon, and ink that are a “perfect match” make it so easy to produce a classy, professional looking project. And as a postscript, I’ll put in my request for the small ink cubes at some point in the future – they’re wonderful to pack up when you’re stamping on the go!
I only have one Palette ink pad so far (Noir), and I have loved it. I am in LOVE with your two new colors, and I would be ecstatic to win your two new ink pads! 🙂
I love that they’ll be a “perfect match”! I’m also intrigued that they have both characteristics from dye and pigment! And it is permanent…this is the ink that colored your pants…right?
I’m so excited!
This is the icing on the cake don’t you think ?. I bought your first stampset a year ago and I’ve always clicked on the tabs for other products on your website and would see the message ‘coming soon’ and now everything has arrived !. Awesome colours and the price is wonderful as well..
Wow, you guys are outdoing yourselves. I love the clean, crisp image that you get from using Palette inks. And I love that they will be a perfect match for the cardstock and ribbon!
I have not tried this ink yet, I would love to try it!
I am thrilled that your new colors will be Pallet ink! I was wondering how that was going to work with you carrying the pallet and these new colors! I love that it can be used on ANYTHING! I have already made some onesies!
I’ve love the hybrid qualities of the ink, it’s the best of both worlds!
I love that all the elements will match perfectly! I can’t wait to see them all! Thanks for your continually introducing such great quality products!
Rhonda M.
I really love the impression Palette inks make with clear stamps. The new colors are lovely!
Oh my gosh I can’t wait.
I like having the ink match the paper,
I like that everything is going to match,
no more struggling to find that perfect ribbon or cardstock to match.
Kandi
How exciting!! I love when all the colors match. I can’t wait to get some of this ink.
I have never used it, but I am seriously considering getting some. I like that it dries so quickly and will be a perfect colour match for your other products in the same colour!
I love to match everything so I’m excited about perfect match. I haven’t tried this ink but it’s on my list to order a color and give it a try. So I guess I’ll start with one of the new colors. I love the fact that your bringing two colors out each month which allows us to build up supply. 🙂
I love the fact that it is acid free and waterproof!!! I once again, love the new colors…can’t wait!
Nichole, I tried Palette ink pads because of you and I love them so much. I am so excited that your new colors will be in Palette ink! Is it the 15th yet, because all of this excitement is killing me!
This sounds wonderful! Can’t wait to try it out!
Cheers,
The Hybrid ink makes it so easy. No heavy thinking about which ink to use…just fun, fun, fun and a beautiful end product.
The hybrid ink concept is really intriguing. What a novel concept!
Love the Palette Ink. I have a few pad already and can’t wait to add these great colors to my small but growing collection.
I can’t wait to see all the new colors! Thanks Nicole.
Clear, crisp images without a lot of tapping and retrying? Ya gotta love it! Can’t wait to be able to try these out! Thanks.
Wow! This is some exciting stuff I say! I have my first 3 Palette inks on their to me right now as I type! So I am excited to see how good they are from what you say. I am excited that there just might be a ink that is “multi-purpose” that I can use for everything & anything – thanks for the tips.
Oh, I am so intrigued by the built-in handle! Having never tried Palette Hybrid Inks, I will be eager to see how I like them. Sure will be fun to try out!
I like EVERY feature of these inks! If I had to pick one it would probably be the vibrancy you get when using lighter inks. I’ve had problems before with other inks.
Iam SOOOOOO excited to find out you are having Palette Hybrid ink to coordinate with you new color papers. I LOVE Palette Hybrid ink. I love the coverage of the ink and the colors stay so vibrant. These will denfinitly be on my “must have” list. Congrats Nichole and all on your accomplishments this past year and upcoming year as well. I am super excited about the release this month.
WooHoo! I can’t wait to try all of your new products. I am excited that your ink is a cross between dye and pigment. Your new colors are lovely. Thank you for working sooo hard to bring great quality!
I love that you can use these inks on all types of surfaces. Limitless possibilities! What a great addition to your line. I can’t wait.
Wow!!!! What I like most about it, from your description as I’ve never tried it myself, is the way it stamps blotchy and dries smooth – that is very cool! As if you have your own Palette Hybrid colours…:)
I love the color coordination! I’m excited for the whole set of Perfect Match products!!
Melissa
WOW!! I LOVE Pallette Inks and really looking forward to the new colors WITH matching cardstock!! woohoo!!
Oh I love that there is no yucky odour to your ink! The colours are awesome, that goes without saying. The lid.. as a handle… COOL!!
I have never tried this type of ink before but am VERY interested in all that you can do with one ink pad. How cool that you can stamp on all of those surfaces without having to have different stamp pads! Again, you have outdone yourself and maybe this will be my lucky entry!
I’ve never tried the palette ink before, but I’m anxious to try it out after reading your post.
I love that it does make such a solid image, and looking forward to adding even more versatile colors to my collection.
I like the fact that they are non fading inks with vivid color, also that they work well with the clear stamps. I’ve not used hybrid inks before so I am interested in trying them.
The pallette inks are awesome because you can stamp on eveything with them !!!!! I just love them????
This is totally awsome! I love the quality of palette ink and now they will be available in colors to exclusively match the PTI papers and ribbon. That is just too sweet!
Thanks PTI!!!
~Monica~
I think the best feature (which I guess applies to all the new products) is the fact that they match.
I’d still like to know if you are planning to provide something comparable to the color wheel (SU coach) for your ‘new’ products. I’ve found that although I love new colors, I am challenged when it comes to creating a pleasing match of colors ~ which is a big factor for me ~ I hate to have to spend a lot of time looking & comparing, etc ~ just to make a card that doesn’t quite work.
Are you kidding me? You guys are the ones that got me hooked on Palette ink!!! I love the stuff. So the fact that you are coming out with your own colors makes me giddy. I would love to try them out!
I have to say the lid used as a handle intrigues me most! Maybe my fingers won’t be so inky…lol
I haven’t tried Palette ink yet, but I think the fact that it requires a light touch sounds awesome. With other inks I always feel like I have to rub, rub, tap. Lol.
Can’t wait for the new product.
I’ve never tried Palette inks, but I definitely will now. I like the fact that the ink will match the cardstock & ribbon. I can’t wait to try them out!
I have a few Palette inks already and I really like that the colors are deep almost like a chalk in but not as soft looking. But my favorite thing about yours will be that they match the cardstock and ribbon – Yippee!
I love the palette inks but have hated trying to match cardstock to them… I like it to be easy! So thanks! This should make it nice and easy for me!
Dee
HI Nichole..I can honestly say that the Palette Inks are one of the best out there.. I just entered the stamping world a few months ago and had just bought some cheapy ink at Walmart…When I finally received my Palette Ink..oh my gosh..the BEST!! I love the colors and can’t wait to use them…
My favorite quality of the inks is the perfect color match with the card stock.
The best thing about it is the vibrancy of the colors and that it is also waterproof. The next thing is that its a perfect match for the new cardstock and ribbon!!!
Gee! What’s not to like!!! The colors are coordinated, it COVERS, wooo wooo. Great idea! Seems like you are listening to what stampers want- great!
Erin
I am a new visitor of PT..I love the look of the sample cards and I love the new colors…I am excited about purchasing some of your products and the new ones too…
I purchased my first Palette Ink from you and there is no turning back. Like you mentioned, no deciding which ink would be best and will it show on this paper. Gotta love anything that easy !! 🙂
I didn’t know that these inks were good for fabric as well as paper, will have to give that a try. kim
I have never tried this ink before, but I am looking forward to giving it a try. I love all these suprises. This is so much fun!!
Getting good coverage on clear stamps has been a challenge for me, but I have been pleased with the Palette Noir stamp pad that I own. Looking forward to “testing” the vibrancy of the lighter colors for myself! How exciting for you!
I haven’t tried the palette inks yet, but I’d love to! I LOVE the grooved feature on the case which enables you to snap the lid on and use it to stamp with the pad! The big bulky ones are hard to control because for small hands it’s difficult to grip them tightly enough! You thought of everything!! I’m amazed:)
I love “perfect match” colors of cardstock, ink, ribbon, etc! It makes designing a project so much easier!! Can you watercolor with Hybrid ink?!
Gretchen
Hi Nichole!
Congratulations on your new inks!
I have used Palette before and already love them. What intrigued me in your post is the fact that you can use the lid as a handle…who knew!
The best thing about the new ink is that it matches the new paper and ribbon! 🙂 I love that you went with palette ink so it can go from paper to fabric! Whoo hoo!
I’m most excited about the pad itself. NO MORE SAGGING! I’ll definately be trying these out.
I’ve never used this type of ink before, but now I’m really curious about it! I definitely will have to give this a try and that little handle trick you showed sold me on it – how clever!
The thing that intrigues me the most is the versatility. I have bought so much ink lately without a lot of satisfaction. I am looking for a one stop ink. 🙂 Can’t wait to try them.
I have 3 colors of Palette inks, and I absolutely love them! I love the fact that they are a hybrid ink, because they allow me to capture my favorite aspects of dye inks and pigment inks in one! And having them to match the new PTI cardstock and ribbon–all I can say is WOW!
I have never tried this ink before…Cannot wait to give it a try. I am intrigued by the way it stamps and then dries.
I like that they will work well with clear stamps, sometimes the ink “beads” up on clear stamps and it sounds like you’ve got a great product that won’t do that.
Claudia

Holy cow!
I’m new to stamping but had no idea which inks to use on what.
This was very informative! Stamping on clothes would be fun =) Hand made clothing to another level hehe
Thanks, Nicole! And you are also offering them. Wow!
Ying
I’ve never tied hybrid palette but am intrigued that they will keep their vibrancy. I get frustrated when using light colors that they hardly show up even on white paper. I’m so excited about all…..the paper, ink and ribbon!! Thanks, Crystal N
Sounds like the coverage of the ink is superior to regular dye ink! Can’t wait to try it.
I never am sure I am using the right type of ink plus it would be expensive to get a ‘dye’ and ‘pigment’ pad for all the colors I use. With Palette inks I don’t have to worry about having the right type of ink. And it saves me money to spend on Papertrey products!
It was only recently that I began using Palette inks, and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t switch to another brand again. I’m so glad that Papertrey will be carrying their own colours of this line…can’t wait to buy some!!
Well I don’t expect to win with all of these comments, but the ink pads sound very intriguing! And the colors are gorgeous, can’t wait to try these new products. Thanks for the chance anyway!
Ilene B.
I’ve not tried the palette inks…but love the fact that it matches cardstock and ribbon. Thanks so much for the chance to win.
I already own several Palette inkpads and they are the best – they work on transparency film and shrink plastic as well as cardstock. Also, possibly important information, if you drop the Noir pallette ink on your khaki pants, it will come out with repeated application of goo-gone as long as you don’t run it thru the dryer until the spot is out.
I recently tried Palette ink for the first time and I love it! Especially the fact that it cleans off the stamps beautifully, even the darker colors. I’d love to get your exclusive shades!
I’ve never tried this ink but would love to ! I’m still experimenting as to what I like best!
Thanks for the chance!
I purchased the black in pad – because other than StazOn, nothing seemed like a true black – well, I am now hooked! This ink is WONDERFUL and I would recommend it to anyone – and now that there will be coordinating papers…I am truly in heaven!
I love the idea of the grooves on the side so it does not slip out of your hand. This is such an amazing trio of items.
I’ve never used Palette inks before and would love to try them. I’m intrigued by the way the ink color evens out as it dries… That’s a really big deal in my book!
I think that’s wild how it looks spotty at first and then even’s out as it dries. And I really like not having to think about which ink I need to use.

I’m excited about the lighter colors being more vibrant. I’ve held off purchasing to many because I like the “matching” of SU’s to their paper, but whoa, now that I’ll have matching paper, ribbon AND ink…… I think SU is going to see a slight decrease in sales!! *wink*
I already love palette ink pads so this will be great having them in your exclusive colors! I love the coverage they give on any surface and the brightness of the colors.
Good thing I saved some of my Christmas money…paper, ink, ribbon and new stamps all in one month! I love the new colors and can’t wait to try them. I can’t wait to see what other colors you dream up.
I love the finger gripper thingy’s. doesn’t that make it soo much easier to use. I am dying over here waiting for the release of all this new stuff. The good thing is, I won’t have to wait very long to receive them once I’ve ordered them. Papertrey is super fast at sending me my orders.
I like how the ink will be vibrant and retain the colour. I haven’t used these inks but I am intrigued. The colour on the lid is also a great idea.
you don’t have to sell me on the worthiness of palette ink! i LOVE my palette noir—it’s practically all i use! you can’t get any other black to be quite as BLACK and crisp in my opinion. so that’s what i love–is the bright and vibrancy of the colors!
wow, so many things intrigue me about the ink. i like that it is hybrid between dye and pigment and that it matches the paper and ribbon.
I like the inkpads because they match up with the rest of your new products. I own several of the Palette inks and I’m very happy with them. I’m confident that your ink pads will be fantastic to use!
I love Palette! I used them every time for everything! and is going to be awesome get everything in the same colors!! What a great deal!
Love,
Diana
Of course, coordinating colors is incredible all by itself!! But I had been convinced by previous testimonials to try the Palette inks and they are by far my new favorite. I love that the lid snaps onto the back, too, and especially love how quickly they dry. These are beautiful colors you’ve chosen and I can’t wait to give them a try.
Things that match, what more could I ask for? It’s so exciting to be able to have high quality products at great prices. This is so exciting.
I was having a terrible time with ink. I thought I was doing something wrong. I had give up on stamping. I read your post of using the Palette ink on Shrink plastic, so I decided to give it a shot.
It turned out beautifully! I only have a black and brown. I would eventually like to have every color. The couple other brand inks that I had, I gave away!
Wow … this is so exciting! Best feature of the ink pads? They’ll be a perfect match for the cardstock … and we’re going to have ribbon, too!
The characteristic that I love most about the ink is that you can use it on anything. I don’t need the same color in two different formulas to stamp on two different mediums. The ink does look blotchy when you first stamp, but that disappears. Leaving you with a wonderfully colored image.
i have never tried palette ink. i would like to try it on clear stamps, since you mentioned it is easier on them. thank you for the tip.
I love that it’s waterproof and hybrid — haven’t tried it yet but I surely want to!
I love that I don’t have to have 2 -sometimes 3 sets of ink. To have them match cardstock is FABULOUS! Can’t wait!
I love the fact you can stamp on most everything! gives you lots of options
I am really interested in this ink because I have never used a “Palatte” ink before. I like the idea that this kind of ink falls between Dye and Pigment. Can’t wait to try it!
I’ve never used Palette ink. What intrigues me most is that it is both dye and pigment ink. Too cool. I love the two colors you’ve chosen too.
Gotta go with some other ladies who said they best liked the fact it matched the paper!
Yeah! I love Palette black and can’t wait for the new colors! This is so exciting!
I like the vibrancy of the colors after they are stamped. So many inks these days aren’t like that. Thanks for the chance to win.
that’s awesome that it can be used on any surface…2 inks in one. 🙂 I love how the lid also fits on the back to create the handle…too cool! 🙂 Again, LOVE the colors you designed!!
I’m loving that they match and that you don;t have to worry about using the right ink. That’s awesome.
Hugs
Nic
Sweet but would definitely like the cubes b/c I like to have lots of colors w/o all the storage 🙂
I love the new colors. And to think the will coordinate perfectly with the new papers and ribbons. Sure helps a newbie like me.
Dune Lady
I love the way they stamp. The coverage is great!
I’ve never tried pallette inks and this might be my excuse to give them a shot. I just love the colors!
I’m so excited to try the hybrid ink, especially in the new colors. I’ve been disappointed with lighter color ink pads before, but I’m sold on trying this kind!
I am sooooo excited to try NEW and fresh colors!!! How beautiful they look in your blog.
I have Palette ink and love it. I’m intrigued by the new colors. I really like the aqua color!
I love the beautiful colors you have come out with! They do look just like spring! I have never used a hybrid ink before and would love to try them.
Not only am I excited about your new paper and ribbon but ink to match – how awesome! I’ve never used Palette stamp pads before but I’m excited to give them a try!
I like that I can colour it almost immediately and no smearing or bleeding. I stamp my image and by the time I close the ink pad and return it to its drawer, the image is ready to be coloured. And, the colours are fabulous.
WOW! I have noticed that many of my “favorite” stampers use these inks. I love how they are so versatile and vibrant! I have been dying to give them try!!! 🙂 Thanks Nichole for your hard work and dedication to us stampers!!
I’ve never used Palette ink before and didn’t know much more about it until today. I like the idea of it being “hybrid”, archival, and will be coordinating with other products in the future. I’ll definitely will try one to see the difference! Thanks for sharing the information, Nichole!
Love the new delicate hues, so pretty!!
I’ve always loved cool carribean. This is even better!
I love the idea that these hybrid inks are perfect for scrapbooking. Other pigment inks take so long to dry.
Can’t wait to see all your new colors.
I am so excited about the palette inks. I really like the hand hold tip.
I have a few of these pads, and I LOVE them…I love the great crisp images that your get with them, and was excited to hear that the lighter colors are still vibrant…extra excited that you will have matchy-matchy, since that was part of my draw to SU…now I’ll have another place to go to! 🙂 Way to go….and ribbon tomorrow? The anticipation is too much!!! 🙂
I love Pallette ink and am so delighted you chose these! I can’t wait to get them in my hands!!!
Oh, my gosh! Now I’m even more excited! I have just recently started using Palette ink and I love it! Even my husband can tell how much better it is! Checkbook…watch out for the 15th!
This kind of ink seems to work on everything and any kind of stamp. Love how it drys fast and it seems to apply so evenly everytime. Love it. Angelina
I can’t wait for vivid art from very light colors. I have heard wonderful things about these pads but love to match my paper and ink. So my day has come! 🙂
I’m excited about the new colors and the fact that you are behind them – that’s a guarantee of quality! I’m looking forward to getting both of these when they are available. Thank you!!
You are keeping me awake! You have me staying awake past midnight. That takes alot since I have to in the office by 6AM.
Love the paper, the ink and tonight I can stay awake to see and hear about the ribbon!
Life is good!
I can’t wait to see the new colors. I love the fact that it does not have a smell! I can’t wait to get some!
I have been using the Palette Ink thanks to your recomendation on earlier projects and just love it. I love the color vibrancy, the densnesses of the ink when stamped, the fact it doesn’t have an odor and that it is so verstalie on so many surfaces.I really like the packaging too. I am so excited for Perfect Match Colors!
I already use some of the Palette ink pads and love them. I’ve been wondering which inks match which Stampin’ Up!papers, now I’ll have even more choices with your papers. How cool is that?! Can’t wait!!
This is so exciting Palette ink ROCKS! I love the crisp, sharp images that I get and I love that it is waterproof!!!!
Fabulous colors! Can’t wait to try them!
I love to have things that match, and I love Palette ink — this new Perfect Match line is the coolest thing ever! I am soooo excited. Can’t wait to hear about the ribbon!!
i already love the palette inks, so it’s great that you are using them for your new colors. i didn’t know that about the lid fitting on as a sort of “handle” – so thanks for sharing that little tidbit! can’t wait to see and hear about the ribbon – i am a sucker for ribbon!
I love palette inks… i cant wait for your new colors!
I have all the SU ink pads and probably would not have even tried the Palette pads until I read all this information. I am anxious to try the Palette inks in order to have more vibrant pastel colors and also because they have the features of both pigment and dye ink pads. It is important to me to have ink that perfectly matches cardstock and ribbon so I am looking forward to your new line of products.
2 things intrigue me….the fact that you can stamp on fabric and you can use the lid as a handle.
I’m so thrilled…….paper, ink and ribbon to match and you have a great group of ladies designing for you!
Thanks!!
I love watercoloring with Palette ink! It truly does not bleed when water touches it. I love having coordinating ink and cardstock! And your two new colors are absolutely gorgeous!
I love that the ink works great with acrylic stamps yet it is not as thick as pigment ink. I do not get a great image using dye ink with my acrylic stamps so I am excited try the new ink and colors!
I just recieved two of the Palette inks from PTI. I can’t wait to play with them this weekend. I like the fact that you don’t have to decide which type of ink to use. Thanks!
When I get on the computer at 9:00 AM, I am thinking, I will be the first or may be second one. Wrong…
Can’t wait to play with the new inks. The wetness might make it easy to ink the stamp and if it dries out quick and even, what more could we ask for.
I’ve never used Palette ink before and am very excited to try this. I love the colors that you’ve debut’d and I like the fact that you can use the lid/ink pad with a groove for your hands. The price is very competitive to others in the market. Great job!
Nichole,
Thank you for your committment to excellence. I have never tried the Palette ink but I love that it is a hybrid. I am anxious to try it out. I am excited to try all of the new products. Wow…talk about overwhelming!
Thanks!
~Kathy
How cool! I would say what got me was the fact I didnt have to read which surface it was best on. I usually dont do much heat embossing so what a great product for me. Love the grooves built in too and the shape seems better than those other square ones that are manufactured.

How wonderful it will be to have inks to match the new cardstock & ribbon! And I hope you consider producing the mini-ink cubes, because I love those!
I love Palette inks, though I only have a brown inkpad I use it everytime! (my poor black Staz-On is feeling somewhat abandoned, lol), I love the coverage this ink gives to my PTI staps 🙂
I really like the fact that I can use them on any surface–SO nice not to have to have 2 sets of pads!!! Amy
I am interested in the fact that the light colors show up better than dye inks in light colors.
the best part of the ink pad is that it matches the line!! awesome! love the grips on the pad for direct to paper application also!
Can’t wait to try the new ink pads. I have always complained about not getting coverage with the lite color stamp pads. This is so fun to be part of your company family, it is wonderful to see you girls having such success. Thanks for all your hard work…Sharen
I haven’t been lucky enough to try these inks yet. But when you put these wonderful colors on sale, I will be there to buy. I’m so excited for you new line. Thanks!
I love the vibrancy of the colors and the fact that they are fade resistant. I’m a scrapbooker, so I need my inks to be fade resistant. Thanks for such a wonderful product!
Katie
What intrigues me the most about the Pallette ink pads are the fact that they are both “dye” and “pigment” inks and you can stamp on ANYTHING.
I am so excited for the release of the new colors! I can’t wait!
Alyson Levin
I love the Aqua Mist, so pretty. Thanks for the comparisons 🙂
This is so cool! I love to use Palette ink and the fact that it’s going to match the cardstock and ribbon blows me away. Thank you!!!!
I am really excited to try the inks in comparison with other ones I’ve used so that I can experiment and compare. A really good ink is such a treat! And since I’m already excited to use your new papers and ribbon, it’s guaranteed that I’ll need the matching inks! Thanks for all the fun new products!
I have not tried the Palette ink pads, but the idea of being able to use them on virtually any surface without worry sounds great! Does this make the ink waterproof as well?
Thanks for the clear up on the ink!! I never knew what it was or what to use it for. Sounds like it is perfect for everything!! THANKS!!
I can’t believe that you have perfect match ink for your fantastic ribbon and cardstock! I can’t wait to see what comes next!! Can’t wait to order some of this stuff! jeanne
In the last few months, I started buying a handful of the Palette spots from you each month. I love how vivid the ink is and that you can use it on many surfaces. Now I’m so excited that there will be ribbon to match as well as your awesome cardstock!
I am very intrigued with how this ink can be used with so many different surfaces. I also like the fact it will match the card stock and ribbon. I have a slight addiction to ribbon…..lol.
Thanks for the chance to enter the drawing and good luck to all who enter:)
Tammy
What’s not to love? lol! I really like the cool handle feature, but the hybrid qualities of the ink (and the fabulous color coordination)is why I will buy them!
I would love to have ink that is easy to do clothing (like the baby onesies) I’ve always struggled finding something I like for that!
I love palette inks! They dry quickly, the colors are vivid and I love that they are a combination of both dye & pigment!
Oh, my goodness, Nichole, you have me so excited I can hardly stand it. I have been dying to try Palette inks, but I have a “thing” for coordination — I cannot wait to get my hands on your new coordinating products — and two new colors every month?!? Wowza!! Congrataulations on all of your success – it is so well deserved!
Being able to stamp on anything with same pad intrigues me the most.
Do they dry any faster than “craft ink” like SU’s?
I love the “handle”. What a great feature to an already great product! I can’t wait!!
I love the fact that the coverage is so good with the Palette inks. I can’t wait to get the ones that will match your paper.
I love the fact that the guess work is eliminated about which type ink to use. I’ve enjoyed using the colors I already have, and can’t wait to try these exclusive colors!!!
Wow! I’ve been wanting to try the Pallette inks — now I have a great excuse. I love, love how the cardstock, ribbon, and now ink are color-matched!
I am amazed at how the ink just absorbed into the card stock. I can’t wait to try your new matching line. I got into SU ink because of the matching ink and cardstock options. I can’t wait to have another option to choose from.
OOOOO! I like the sound of the light colors. I gave up on light ink for anything because it never shows up. And that built in “handle” is great. It gives you more to hold onto. I can’t wait to try the blue. I’ve wanted a light blue for ages. Deb
I think I am going to cry with happiness! I love the Palette ink line, and I have been wishing that the fabulous palette inks could be matched with other products; and you have done it…paper and ribbon. I am thrilled – congratulations on launching what I think will be a hugely successful product line!
I love that I can use the ink without wondering if it’s the right ink for my project!
The news just keeps getting better and better over here! I haven’t used hybrid inks before but, given such glowing praise, who wouldn’t want to try them out? Thanks for sharing!
I really like the Palette inks – especially for fabrics…can’t wait to see what other colors you may have up your sleeve
Holy smokes I am thinking that I am going to need another job…lol….I need to have it all….I am loving all the new products that you are show casing……can hardly wait for the new posts each day!
I have not used the Palatte ink before, but I DO have it on my wish list to try as I’m experimenting more with different products
I love the idea that you will have matching paper, inks, ribbons….OH YEAH!!
I’m excited that there’s no need for TWO sets of ink pads — so really, the price is excellent, if you consider what you’re really getting!!
Nevermind, I see the answer now. (Duh.)
ooh! can’t wait to try these new inks. I love that the ink will stick to many surfaces. I think stamping little baby clothes (or bibs) would be adorable.
Gaby
You are seriously killing me, it is just not fair that you can come out with so much beautiful incredible product at once. It is to much for my brain to handle. Congratulations!!! You have a success on your hands.
I love the new ink pads! it all matches so perfectly!
and i like the way the lid can be used as a handle! very handy!!
I love how the lid fits underneath for I have 3 of the colors now and did not realize that the lid fit the way it does. Makes it much easier to handle. Thank you!
I adore the Palette inks that I already have so I’m very excited to try the new PTI ones! I think I’m most excited about the exclusive colors.
I love the new colors and can wait to create cards with coordinating cardstock, ink and ribbon!! this is very exciting!!!
I am intrigued by the whole concept! I have been a loyal S.U. ink user but admit I don’t always get the coverage i’d like. This ink seems juicier and I LIKE the idea of it! I just bought a new ink pad holder with LOTS OF EMPTY SLOTS! Hmmmm…I don’t think they’ll be empty for long!
I have yet to try these inks, but they sound great because of the hybrid properties. I like to use craft inks for certain things, but hate the drying time involved! It will be fun to try these. Love having coordinating colors–it makes projects easier to create!
Love the thought of a rich ink that you can see even in the lighter shades. Also, glad to learn that you can use the lid as an extra handle…very helpful. Looking forward to trying some.
I love the Palette inks because they stamp wonderfully and are archival and fade resistant for my scrapbooks. I was a little worried you wouldn’t be carrying the Palette inks anymore when you said you were going to have your own coordinating ink so I am ecstatic that your inks are Palette!
I’ve never tried the Palette inks but would love to give’em a try. The two new colors are great.
The fact that it combines the best qualities of dye and pigment inks intrigues me most. I only use clear stamps, and it sounds great that you get such a crisp image. Guess this is going to have to go on my “must have” list.
I am really excited that you mention that these inks will stay vibrant no matter how light the color. I am sometimes disappointed that the lighter colors tend to be more muted then they look on the pad. I’m excited to give these a try. And, in my two most favorite colors at that!!
I have never tried Palette inks, but I am interested to see how they work. I am very in to the matchy, matchy. So I love that you will have cardstock, ink and ribbon that all match.
The vibrancy of the colors intrigue me the most!
I am so excited by your new color line! I have used Palette inks in the past and really like them for, as you stated, the vibrancy of the colors. It covers so well with just a couple of soft taps of the stamp on the ink. I Can hardly wait to see them in person!
…pallette inks are the BEST of both “ink worlds”…what more can i say ????…doreen
The vibrancy of the colors intrigue me the most!
It’s very exciting to have the new colors in the Palette inks! I love the fact that they will match perfectly the papers and ribbons!
I’ve never tried Palette inks before. I am just not learning the difference between “dye” and “pigment” ink and am excited to know that I won’t have to waste precious stamping time debating what is the correct style of ink to use!
WOW – can it get any better? This is awesome exciting news, and thanks for all of your hard work getting these new items! I can hardly wait to order, AND will look forward to the new colors arriving each month! Great job! Thank you, Tina
What an easy way to build a collection! Love the colors and love that they will match the cardstock.
I have only used the dye based inks before, so this will be interesting to see the difference. I am very excited!!
I love Palette ink. I can’t wait to see more!
Well wow… this is getting a bit exicting.. I can’t wait to see all the pretty colors this really is so wonderful.. Ribbon is my fav. thing in the world I am in sooo much trouble! lol 🙂
Those ink pads look cool! I’ve been mostly a SU! gal but keep hearing about more and more about PTI. I just may have to try these out! The colors look beautiful!
I love it and can not wait to order it! Keep the new products coming…..so exciting!
I love Palette inks (only have a few). So nice that they will match papers and ribbons perfectly! How exciting!
I use Palette Noir and love it. It is so versitile and I love that is has the staying power of a pigment ink but cleans up like a dye ink – clean and easy! I am so glad to hear you are going to have matching ink with your paper and ribbon!! This is just too exciting!!! 🙂
Palette inks are my absolute FAVORITE inks. I think the new cardstock colors were BEAUTIFUL…so it is wonderful that you were able to create these new exclusive colors. (BTW, I’ve successfully heat embossed with Palette inks – I use Transcendance EP and end up with a lovely shiny look. There is something about the fine Transcendance powder that makes it cling more easily to Palette and Stazon). I’m so excited to see the ribbons!!!
I am excited to try the Palette Hybrid Inks…the part I find intriguing is the vibrancy of the light colors as you explained. Something I’m definitely looking forward to!
I have never used Palette and to know that you can use it on anything is a great option instead of buying dye and pigment inks!
How AWESOME!! The new hybrid ink pads sound like the perfect answer to clear stamp inking conerning coverage, and the fingerholds will be such a huge help. No more cumbersome shape, with a large inkpad, to hold on to!! WOW!! and the price is reasonable!! You have me hooked!!
I love that you can stamp on all types of surfaces, and they dry quickly. I like that the colors lay on top of the paper color too, like a pigment ink. Very cool.
Melissa
I have never tried Palette inks, but these sound fabulous. I like that they dry quickly and are odor-free and it’s great that they can be used on many surfaces. I’d love to try them.
I didn’t even know they made ink that could be used both ways! love it! I guess that is my favorite feature, that’s awesome!
I am excitedly following the new releases for Papertrey- I have only ever used Su products, and after two years, I am ready to expand my repertoire!
Thanks for all the great detailed info. and pics!
I already adore the ones I have. Your description today has shown me things I didn’t even know – for example the lid and handle. I am so very very excited. I may never buy another brand of ink pad again.
The lid becoming the “handle”. So many ink pads are cumbersome, to say the least. OH! So many wonderful things from Papertrey! Thank you!
Love the versatility of the ink! I never know which ink to use on what surface! Of course, the coordination with paper, ribbon, ink is my favorite. I love to coordinate everything in my scrapbook pages and cards.
I can’t wait to try this new ink! I love the way the color seems to “pop” right of the paper! Keep up the good work
Love the colours, love the fact that it is waterproof and love the grips on the sides of the packaging!
I love these ink pads! I have used them before and am so excited to have everything match!
Can’t wait until to order them!
Congrats on your wonderful company and the exciting products you offer at great value! I am thrilled that the ink will remain vibrant, despite a light hue. Do you have inks that can be used on dark cardstock i.e. chalk inks? Thanks!
LOVE the versatility! And as I said before, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your color choices. I have always loved the color combinations you use in your projects. Some are colors I wouldn’t think to put together, but then when I see your project, they always look so classic and timeless! LOVE THAT!!!
I am excited that the inks are for all surfaces and that the colors will match your paper and ribbon products. I am often a little hesitant on what inks are for what projects, so it will be nice to add the inks to my collection so I won’t have to worry! It’s very impressive that the ink will be so vibrant on light colors too!
I cna’t wait to try out your new products – your two new colors are fabulous and always fun when things match up
I love Palette Ink pads! They are always my first choice unless I don’t have the ‘perfect’ color! I can’t wait to see these in person!
This is better than I expected because I love the Palette inks and have so for a long time. FABULOUS news. Will totally be picking them up.
I like the fact that the lighter colors are vibrant! I can’t wait to give these a try Nicole! I’m already trying to think of ways to add to my existing ink, paper, and ribbon storage as I think these are going to be a new addiction.
Linda
I love the vibrancy of the palette inks. I have been slowly adding them to my ink collection. And nothing is better than having inks to coordinate with paper/ribbon except perhaps winning them!
Oh my! I haven’t tried the Palette inks yet since I didn’t want to have to go and find matching paper and ribbon … but now … I’m in BIG trouble!
Palette inks are one of favorites. They are so easy to stamp with on all surfaces. The ink gives a clean and crisp stamped image. I am so excited that they will now be in Papertrey Ink colors.
I have never tried the Palette inks but it sounds like they work great.I love that the colors will match the card stock. Can’t wait to try them out.
I already love the quality of the palette inks. The best part is that it will be in coordinating colors with your cardstock and ribbon!! Great quality and great products!
I really like the quality of the Hybrid ink and am happy to see you using it for your new line of colors!
Barb hendrickson
Ink that actually matches the cardstock and ribbon — I’m so excited! Hybrid ink is a great versatile ink to use. I can’t wait to get some and start stamping!
I have not tried the Palette Inks before but I love the idea that they are a perfect match to the cardstock and ribbon!
OH, Oh, Oh…. I love Palette inks. I only have black so this will be perfect… I’ll start collecting the PTI colors! I love the Palette ink for… it’s vibrancy and permanency!
Having never tried Pallette ink pads I think you sold me on buying them. I know your standards are high for your stamps and accessories. I love that everything is coordinated. How can one choose? I must have at least one of everything to start with. 🙂
I’m very interested in inks that work well with my clear stamps and getting vibrant colors to truly show up well. These new inks will be fabulous!
My favorite thing about palette inks that I can use them on fabric! no more messy pigment ink. Love that you’re going to have 2 more beautiful colors!
I have never tryed the Pallette inks. I think I would like the versatility! Thanks for the chance.
I am really excited about these! The fact that you can actually get color from such a light tone….I am all game!
When will the excitement end??? Hopefully never!!!
I love Palette ink pads for their vivid colors and ease of use. I know I don’t have to ponder which ink will cover my stamps the best and not be blotchy. Palette’s are simply the best ink out there for clear stamps!!!
Congratulations on the huge success of PaperTrey!!!
Definitely love that they coordinate with the cardstock and ribbon and that they are Hybrid. I would really love the cube size, pretty please!
I have one palette ink that was given to me several years ago – I have never used it! (just not a color I use), but now that I know how great they are, I can’t wait to get home and check it out. I think the best thing will be not having to figure out if it is the “right” ink for the project
I’m excited to use new colors! I am a fan of the hybrid inks, so the fact that you’re using them for your own colors is fantastic. Can’t wait to see what other colors you come out with this year.
I love how the color “evens out” after you stamp – this seems very forgiving for imperfect stampers.
I love Pallete ink for all the things that you have already mentioned!! Now add that it will match PTI paper and ribbon…You had me at Match!!! LOL!! Seriously if you ever decide to make PTI a DSA…SIGN ME UP!!!
I LOVE the idea that they are a 2 for 1 ink pad! How well do they show up a dark cardstock? Just curious!!! This might be the best week ever!
I love your colors. Great job! I also like the permanence of it. Thanks so much!!
I love when the paper, ribbon and ink match – it takes the guess work out of everything! I also like the idea that you don’t have to press very hard to ink your stamps as my hands get quite sore with some brands!
I love when the paper, ribbon and ink match – it takes the guess work out of everything! I also like the idea that you don’t have to press very hard to ink your stamps as my hands get quite sore with some brands!
I can’t wait to check out these new ink pads. The hybrid quality is what intrigues me. I don’t care for pigment inks as they are so messy, but I do love the vibrancy of pigment. This may be the solution for me!
I love the way that they stamp. I have a few colors and they are so vibrant. I want more colors, but slowly and surely my pocketbook allows me to get more.
I have never used the palette hybrid inks – I never even realized they were supposed to be in between dye and pigment inks. I’m very intrigued now! Can’t wait to try these out!
I love the Palette inks and have all of them. They are the most vibrant inks I have ever tried. I can’t wait to add your colors to my collection. And, I like that I won’t go broke adding just two a month.
Woweeee, I am so excited. I just recently bought a Pallete ink pad for the first time and I love it!! Love the lid as a handle function too!! Can’t wait to get the Papertrey ones!!
Kelly S
I haven’t used these inks, but am intrigued by what you say about the lighter colors still being very vibrant. I hate it when your trying for a look and the ink won’t even show up!
It was close-ups of your projects on this blog that really got my attention about Palette inks. I have been so impressed with their vibrancy on all surfaces, especially the lighter colours! To have custom colours… jaw-dropping!
I love the feature of how well they work with acrylic stamps. I just recently began buying acrylic stamps and using them and it’s nice to have ink that works well with them. I only have a few colors but I see many more in my future now! It’s so exciting to watch Papertrey grow, and share in your excitement.
Beth
I love the fact that they will match the cardstock and ribbons you are going to be carrying as well as being a fabulous inkpad. I adore my Palette Noir and burnt umber pads, so these will be fabulous
I love the vibrancy of the colors – especially the lighter ones like you said – that the Pallette’s offer. I am so glad you chose to adopt Pallettes as your signature ink. Your packaging is beautiful, as always. Nichole, you need to get a business woman of the year award!
WOW! thanks for the explanation. I have been crafting for a long time and never knew there was an ink pad that combined dye and pigment. Congratulations!!!
WOW, new paper, new ribbon, and NEW INK!!! It is great to see another company coordinating their products for those of us who want great products at great prices without the commitment of being a demonstrator. I can’t wait to try all of the new colors!
I like the idea of having just one pad that works like two. Also, having an ink to match your new paper and ribbon is awesome.
I love that the color will remain vibrant and it is a hybrid ink. This will come in handy when stamping on fabrics. Thanks so much!
I consistantly use my Palette inks! I’ve tried others and then go right back to my Palette’s!! I love their dependability!
I am looking forward using the two new colors. So very pretty.
Thank you for such an exciting event!!!
I’m excited to try the consistency. Sometimes the dye inks are too “wet” and don’t stick to the stamps like the “craft” ones. A mix of the two? Perfect.
I have Pallette in black and blue. They were just coming out with this ink when I started stamping so I got it because I didn’t know if I should get pigment ink or dye ink to start with! I love that feature. I’d love to have some that are meant to specifically match the awesome PTI cardstock and ribbon!!
Well I recently started using Palette inks, thanks to your recommendation… Since buying the black one, I also gave the colored cubes a try. I haven’t tried them on all kind of surfaces yet but that’s what I am most excited about. And of course having the coordinating colors with cardstock and ribbon is a big plus! 🙂
I love that it is waterproof and who wouldn’t love the colors!
Awesome!! I recently discovered Palette inks and I love them. I am super excited that you are coordinating them with the paper and ribbons.
I love the idea of not having to use both dye and pigment ink! Also, using the lid as a handle is very helpful!
My favorite characteristic is that your beautiful colors will be made by Palette.
I love their ink pads and I can’t wait to get them!
I have heard alot about Palette inks, but have not tried them. I’m really excited about the colors. I really like how the lid fits the bottom while you ink up your stamp. I would really like to try these pads, so pick me! LoriE.
I really like the Palette inks, especially as I have started to stamp with clear stamps. Thanks for the tip about the lid as a handhold. I like that I don’t have to worry about smearing my image because it dries so much faster than pigment.
What I am most intrigued about is the light colors showing up & not fading away…So excited about all the new great products!!!
I’ve slowly been building my collection of Palette inks because of how well they stamp with the clear stamps and they are great for watercoloring!! I love them and am thrilled that your inks will be coming from Palette…I can’t wait to get them!!
I love how they will match the PTI line. I have never tried Pallette Hybrid ink and look forward to using it to match the rest of the line. What is more it is a hybrid of both craft and classic ink, waterproof and vibrant in color!!!
I bought two of the cubes, will you be having them available in the ink spots? I love the component of having the best of both worlds. Can’t wait to see the colors in “real” life.
Your attention to detail is so much appreciated. Coordinating ink, cardstock and ribbon will definitely help me ‘notch it up bit’! How do I tell my husband that I need some more craft room space to hold all of my new stuff :->
I love hybrid inks! Abd how cool that you’ll have custom matching colors!
I love the finger grips on the sides of the new Inks! 🙂
I think what intrigues me most about the palette inks is that the colors don’t fade out after they’ve dried. I love the new colors you’ve got!
You’ve sold me! I’ve got to try these. Another great item at Papertrey!
I love that the ribbon and cardstock will match! Can’t wait until tomorrow to learn more about the ribbon.
I only have the noir (black) but use it exclusively for all my black ink needs. I used to use the stampin up classic black or StazOn black depending on my needs. I love that one ink pad takes the place of 2!!! Love your new choice of colors. I think I might paint my stamp room the green color (I forgot the name).
I love Palette inks because it is a no brainer! Because it has the hybrid qualities of pigment and dye inks, and because it is archival and acid-free, I don’t have to think about grabbing the wrong type of ink for my project. I just use it for everything — and that leaves more brain power dedicated towards being creative 😉 I can’t wait to start using the new colors!
I love that this ink closely mirros the palette inks, as I am already a fan of those. Can’t wait to try these out. Thanks for the chance to win.
I am excited about all of the matching CS and Ink colors, and I haven’t tried the hybrid inks yet, so that will be fun!
All this coordination is fabulous! Can’t wait to try out this product along with the new cardstock and (from what I’ve seen in the pictures) ribbon! I think my favorite feature of this ink though is not having to think! A no-think-ink! I usually use clear embossing ink for any embossing I’m doing, so that’s not a drawback for me, but knowing that it will have the best of both worlds (dye and pigment) is great!
I love that it takes the guess work out of which ink to use! Cute packaging as well.
I too have had trouble with the lighter ink colors showing up. So, I am excited to try these out! I just know they’re gonna be great!! : )
I too have had trouble with the lighter ink colors showing up. So, I am excited to try these out! I just know they’re gonna be great!! : )
I am very excited to try this hybrid ink! I think the blend between dye and pigment is going to take the ink world up a notch. This is really cool!
I love palette because they dry quickly, but are very opaque (looks fabulous) and it cleans off my stamps easily!
I have never tried Palette ink, but love the idea of only using one ink, with vibrant color, for everything. I am so excited about your new products.
I’ve been reading so much about Palette inks and am anxious to try them. What a perfect way to do so.
oh this is awesome inks!!! I dont have much inks .. I am try to collect of inks….I think I want try hybrid inks .. it looks so awesome! cant wait to see more your new colors…
Katey
As someone who loves monochromatic color schemes, I am thrilled that the ink will match the cardstock and the ribbon.
I have a black palette ink and I love it – so excited to see you are offering your colors through Palette! I love the tip about snapping the lid into the back! thanks!
The best characteristic is that it’s a hybrid and there is no question about using the right ink… I am so excited that they are going to match the new paper and ribbon!!
Love that it works on everything…that I don’t have to wonder if I have the right color in the right kind of ink!
Lynn
I’m intrigued by the way it dries…kinda blothcy then a perfectly stamped image. I love that it is a hybrid ink, eliminating the need for so many types!
I just like the fact that you don’t have to figure out which in to use for which surface you are stamping on. takes some of the work out and adds to the fun!
I love the hybrid ink. And I think it goes without saying that I love the colors!
I love the fact they go on blobby but really absorb the paper to set! WOW! I restamp c/s when my ink is blobby! That is a great discover! Thank you! kt
I’m looking forward to using your new ink, paper and ribbon! I’ve stamped and made cards for years but didn’t know about the variety of products available until I discovered SCS a couple of years ago. Since I didn’t have a lot of supplies at that time, I’ve been able to increase my choices with your stamps and other products each month.
I recently got some of the Palette cubes and just love them. I like that they show up on any color cardstock, no matter how dark or light. I’ve never found another ink pad like it! Thank you for bringing us such a high quality product!!
The best thing about your new ink pads is that they’re hybrid pads! I just started using clear stamps and need some colors other than black – what a great way this’d be to start! Pick me, please? (And I have to say, the other great thing about the pads: they matchy-matchy with CS *and* ribbon!)
SusanB
I like the fact that I won’t have to think about what ink I must use -can’t wait to get my hands on them –
I love how the ink coordinates with the ribbon and the paper! The fact that it absorbes and fills in the color is a great feature! I love the grips on the ink pad to help with ease of holding while stamping! I would love to try these
This is so exciting – I can’t wait to fill up my cart with all of the new products. I’ve been holding out on the Palette Inks for awhile and am now ready to dive in!
I am looking forward to trying your paper, inks and ribbons. It looks as though there are lots of us standing in line.
Mary
When I think of Palette ink the one thing that comes to mind is VIBRANT!! No turning back for me.
I love that the ink can be used on all types of surfaces. No worrying about which one works and which doesn’t. Love the new colors.
Sara
I haven’t yet tried a hybrid ink but am enticed now that it will coordinate with your new cardstock and ribbon!
Palett Noir is the only black pad I reach for because of it’s depth! I am UBER excited that your new colors will be Palett!!!
I’ve never tried this brand of ink pads, but Papertrey has whetted my appetitie to do so with their new colors. I’ll give it a whirl!
Ooh! I really like that you can use it both as regular and as pigment ink!!
I love that they match everything else and especially love that the colors will be so vibrant! I can’t wait to play with them!!
Wow! I’ve never tried these inks and I loved how you explained the details! I love the “lid-as-a-handle” thing you showed us! And it’s non-solvent so I can use it with Copics, right? I bet it is good to use with my prismacolors and odorless mineral spirits, too! Oh, I can’t wait until your reveal day–I hope you ordered enough of everything and you have enough server power so you don’t crash!
My favorite quality is how easily the ink cleans off of the stamp. No more scrubbing like with Staz-On!
How fabulous yours will be Palette ink, Nichole — love their inks for stamping on any type surface! Can’t wait to see your exclusive colors!
I am so EXCITED about your new inks and that they can be used on any surface AND That they will coordinate with everything else! AWESOME!
I love the fact that the ink “soaks” into the paper and alleviates the blotchy spots. What a fantastic idea. But what I think I love even more is that it’s a hybrid pad which takes the guess work out of deciphering whether or not the ink is archival safe !
Thank you for putting so much effort and thought in such a useful inking product! The extra touch of the handle grip means I don’t have to struggle withthe opening process and wear ink on my hands! Love the idea of having one ink pad to cover so many surfaces. it is quite funny to realize the amount of ink pads we think we need to buy, take up storage space, and confuse us as to what ink goes with what surface.
I believe I need to try the Palette inks now! Love the new colors too!
I’ve never used the Pallette inks – hybrid or other. But I’m excited that the hybrid ink works on *any* surface! I’d love to try them out.
Nichole – that is awesome – and what is great about the Pallete – you get the yummy colors and you can go over them so much easier with versamark and then emboss because you are using acrylic stamps! Emboss with the clear Embossing powder and the color will shine through! You ROCK!
I have never used Palette ink (all I own so far is SU, and stazon) because I didn’t know anything about it. Thanks for this information. Now that I am better familiar with the benefits, I am excited that I can use this ink on any material, but I am most excited that it stays vibrant, and true to colour.
I love the fact that it is a hybrid. Only you and your team would have thought of that! Can’t wait to try it! And, you thought of the finger grips! YEAH!
How exciting! I didn’t know you could stamp on fabric with Palette inks. I am going to have to try this on some onesies for my sisters shower. Thanks for sharing!
I like the fact that it’s archival and dry fast!
I really like that the ink will absorb into the paper for an even stamped image. And I think the price point is right on target. Thank you for the inspirations.
These colors are fantastic. I love the fact that the hybrid inks are a mix of both worlds. Thanks for the chance to win them!
LOVE the fact that I don’t have to worry about which to use…dye or pigment…woohoo!
Well, I already love Palette inks, so my favorite feature is that it’ll match your paper and accessories perfectly! I’ve never actually had to heat set their other inks, even though I’ve stamped them on glossy pictures and acetate. I just love how versatile the ink is and that I can literally use it on just about anything and have a good strong color.
I like the idea about not having to worry about using the “right” ink.
I’m so excited! Palettes are awesome for fabric. I like that only a couple colors are coming at a time, easier to get them all just not at the same time
I’m drooling over here in Portland over your description of these pads. I can’t wait to try them out. What I’m most excited about is retention of the vibrancy with soft ink colors. Nothing bugs me more that the soft pastel colors that won’t show up.
Happy Friday!
I really like the idea that you can use them on just about every surface. Also that they will match the new CS and ribbon you are coming out with. I look forward to seeing what other colors you will be coming out with.
I’ve never tried Palette inks before. They sound great – and in the amazing new colors! What’s not to love?!
I am just so excited about everything. The ink being perfectly matched to the paper and ribbon, the fact that it was made for use with clear stamps, etc. I haven’t used Palette ink before. Of course, I am fairly new at all this still so everything is fun and excited and I can’t wait to try it all. 🙂
This is so exciting!! I have always loved Palette inks & now that I will be able to buy them in an exact match to the new cardstock is an absolute dream!! I like that you will be releasing 2 each month, that way I can easily build up my collection month by month!!
Ink…paper…and ribbon…Oh My!
Love having ink that will stick to my new clear stamp sets and coorinate perfectly with the paper.
Loving the fact that it is neither dye or pigment (always a choice for me – hmmmm – which to choose?) I also love the idea of the ‘hand holds’ so I won’t be covered with ink! Waiting with bated breath for the ribbon debut tomorrow.
Vibrancy & matches w/the cardstock would be my favorite characteristics.
They match the paper and the ribbon! Yeah! Thank you! Amy =)
Palette inks are wonderful – they are so versatile and give a crisp, clean image. They are also perfect for distressing. Can’t wait to try out your new exclusive colors!
Love the clarity and crispness of the colours!!! The aqua mist is my favourite!!
I love how vibrant the ink is. I can’t wait to give these a try!
I’ve been wanting to try the Palette Hybrid inks, but haven’t been able to find them in my local stores (and haven’t placed any orders online recently). I love the ‘hybrid’ feature and that I don’t have to think about what kind of ink I’m using, and also that I’ll be able to use the color I want for the application I want (rather than being limited by the choices of, for instance, solvent inks available for stamping on glossy surfaces). And I’m SOOOOOO excited that you’re getting PTI perfectly matched inks to go with the cardstock and ribbon!! Seriously, how do I explain this to my DH? I’m going to have to have it all…please pick me so I can win some of it! ;o)
~Michelle
I really like the Palette Noir Black and was thinking of getting some other colors. Now I will get the ones that PTI releases with their colors in the Perfect Match line.
Thanks for the opportunities to win over this release.
It will be nice to have another option for inks. I haven’t used this type of ink much but am ready to experiment!
I am excited to try the hybrid ink pad. I love the flexability of being able to stamp on more surfaces.
Great news! I think the versatility of this ink is the wonderful. It works so well on so many different surfaces. Looking forward to all the possibilities!!
I haven’t tried Palette inks but am interested. I like the hybrid idea and that light colors are vivid.
I like the fact that the ink is acid free and dries quickly so it won’t smudge. I also like that the colors are so vibrant and the matching cardstock and ribbon takes all of the stress out of completing a project in minutes.
I like that its a hybrid ink. I don’t know much about different inks, so its nice I don’t really have to choose 🙂 I think its cool how the lid fits on as a handle too. I’d love to try them!
I have the black one and I can’t wait to expand my collection! Great tip about using the lid as a handle! You’re so clever!
OH THE PALETTE OF POSSIBILITIES!!!
I love that it will match the cardstock and ribbon but also that the color won’t fade! The fact that it is a combo of the dye and pigment is fantastic! Can’t wait to try it!

I’ve used Palette hybrid inks before. In fact, I just ordered a bunch more from your shop. What I like best is that you can use them on paper AND fabric. No need for separate inks. I think I’m going to transition my collection over to Palette hybrids in the future. Can’t wait to see the ribbons next!!
Can’t wait to give this a try! I love the new colors!
I have never tried Palette inks before. I like that it is a hybrid and the lighter colors take well. I can’t wait to try them.. So much to look forward to!!!
I’m excited that everything matches – paper-ribbon-ink – that is just so cool!

I totally love the flexibility of the Palette Inks and the range of colors.
I have been using Palette inks since they came out. I love their versatility. I think the colors are very vibrant. I am excited to see you new colors!!
oh I am going to have to definitely try this ink, I had no idea you could stamp on fabric with it!
The perfect match line looks just wonderful. I love that this ink can be used on any surface and that it matches the cardstock!
I have been using the Pallette pads for years since they came out. You ar right, you don’t have to stop and think about what you are using, they are just perfect! Thanks for making it easy for us to do quality work!
Can’t wait to try Palette ink. I have never used it but look forward to it.
I really like the pallete ink.Kudos to you for another great product. They really stand out on the paper.
I just hope when you get the ribbon and ink in, the same color of paper is offered.
I really like how it works on a variety of surfaces and that it matches with the cardstock and ribbons as well. It will be so much fun to create projects with these new products!
I like how you can use these inks on anything, and I don’t have to try and remember what ink I need to use when coloring with pencils or markers!!! And having ink that matches your card is ALWAYS a plus!!!
I have never tried these inks but I like the idea that the soft colors will be vibrant. Some light colored dye inks barely show on the paper and I love soft colors. I definitly want to try these!
My favorite thing about Palette inks and what I’m looking forward to in the PaperTrey version is the clean even coverage with clear stamps. I have issues with not being able to get the coverage and clean images I want with other ink pads.

I love that it’s going to match the cardstock so well! Takes the guesswork out of it for us; I appreciate that! Can’t wait to get my hands on it all!
I am intrigued by the vibrancy, even of light colors. I too have had this problem with light inks, and don’t use them as much for that very reason. It’s sad because I love light colors!!!
I have been using Palette ink in black and brown and am really looking forward to trying the colored ones. I like the shape of the pad and the way you can use the lid to make it easier to stamp.
I love Pallette ink pads,They are so easy to use on so many different mediums with out a worry, everything from paper to ceramic tile.
I love the idea of everything matching! Makes life soooo much easier. I like the idea of the lid making a handle for the ink pad- I’m forever getting ink on my fingers! I can’t wait to try these!
